Craig Allen Frear

Young Man Walks to Parents House and Disappears

From the Charley Project:

Details of Disappearance

Frear was last seen at approximately 2:00 p.m. on June 27, 2004, near the Cambridge Manor apartment complex in Scotia, New York. He had visited a friend in the complex and was afterward seen walking into the woods nearby. He said he was going to his parents' house, which was located in a cul-de-sac on Yorkshire Court, but never arrived there and never returned to the apartment complex. Frear left his car in the complex's parking lot. He has never been heard from again.

Frear's mother reported him missing that evening after he failed to return home to Glenville, New York as expected. She says it is uncharacteristic of him to leave without warning, even though he was having disagreements with his parents around the time of his disappearance. None of his friends have heard from him since his disappearance. His family did not publicize his disappearance because they believed Frear might have left to have some time on his own and they wanted him to be able to work out whatever was bothering him.

The friend whom Frear visited the day he vanished says he was upset over a breakup with his girlfriend, but did not indicate he was considering running away or harming himself. He left behind his wallet, driver's license, and $40 in cash in his bedroom. His Social Security Number (SSN) has not been used since his disappearance, indicating that he has not paid taxes, opened a bank account, or applied for a job anywhere in the United States. There are numerous railroad tracks in the area where Frear was last seen, but no indications that he was hit by a train.

Frear had just finished his junior year at Scotia-Glenville High School at the time of his disappearance; he was a good and popular student there and co-captain of the soccer team, and several colleges were seeking to recruit him for his athletic abilities. He was interested in studying elementary education at college. He had a job in a local supermarket at the time of his disappearance. He has no criminal record, no history of behavioral problems, and no known enemies.

Although Frear is not thought of have committed suicide, the circumstances surrounding his disappearance are unclear. Foul play has not been ruled out in his case, but it remains unsolved.

From one of my readers:

*Craig was last seen at approx 2pm walking towards the woods. He was upset over a break up with his girlfriend and had lost his job a couple weeks prior and didn't tell his parents that he had lost his job, but the parents found out right before he went missing. His parents lived together at the time and he does have a younger sister. Hunting is permitted in a park area nearby but as far as that direct spot I'm unsure..I would say no due to trains that run through and the apartment complex being right there. No one stated he had a gun and one was never found so it could be possible he could have had one and friends believed even though he was upset he never stated he wanted to harm himself.

"It is very possible he could have walked through the hunting area as there are numerous footpaths/shortcuts he could have taken and the preserve is 360 acres and in close proximity. Also, he has a younger sister and she would have been very young at the time of his disappearance.

"Also it is hard to say which route he would have taken home since there are numerous shortcuts and if he was upset maybe he went elsewhere. That's why I said it is possible he could have hit part of that hunting area since its so large and close by."

I asked the reader who sent me this case if she knew anything about it and when she said she did I sent her questions. Altogether, what she sent me is quoted above and substantiates some of the things I was seeing in the charts. I will explain all of this in detail as I read the charts in this post. I wanted to know about the younger sibling in order to validate the charts and make sure they were viable. In the first chart shown below you can see that Capricorn is on the fourth house cusp, showing Craig's family. Saturn is in the ninth with Mercury and the Sun. This shows a child, Mercury, in the family grouping. Venus, Craig's ruler in the first chart, is disposed of by Mercury, telling me this was his sister or brother. So this is why she mentioned the younger sister in the quote above.

Moon in the first house is the first clue that Craig is on his own, doing what he wants to and was not abducted or forced. The first house ruler, Venus, is in the eighth house and inconjunct to the Moon in Scorpio. This shows that Craig was in an emotional state that caused him to make bad choices. There was an error in judgment. The first house ruler in the eighth with Neptune in the fourth and the Moon moving upwards towards the twelfth it is my guess that Craig died shortly after he was last seen. Venus is disposed of by Mercury, which is placed in the ninth house conjoined Saturn. This shows him walking into the woods, most likely following a path. Saturn rules the fourth but it is in fall in the sign Cancer showing that he intended to head to his parents home but something interfered. Saturn falling between the Sun and Mercury and all three of these planets conjoined in the ninth makes me think that he miscalculated the direction of the path he was following, which is likely a very old path that was worn down and hard to follow. All three planets are disposed of by the Moon, showing his emotions to be a factor in his fatal error in judgment.

I am wondering what the emotional upset is about and I notice that the Moon is disposed of by Pluto in the third house. Looks like a verbal argument and perhaps over the phone. At the least, there were heated words exchanged and perhaps a little regret. I am thinking this dispute was with his parents, like the reports have suggested, because the seventh house ruler is Aries and Mars is in the tenth house, the natural marker for parents. Mars in Leo in the tenth seems to indicate it was his father that had him so upset. I say this because it is supported by the disposal of Mars by the Sun in Cancer. Because these Cancer planets are in the ninth house I am thinking the disagreement may have been over school. Either school or travel. The grand trine in water signs, including the Moon in Scorpio, the Sun in Cancer and Uranus in Pisces from fire houses is a concern for me. The seventh house in Aries with Mars in the tenth describes the hunting area I was asking my reader about and I was thinking he may have been shot. If he had been shot, he was likely dumped in the water somewhere nearby. Venus in the eighth house is also the ruler of the eighth house and the first house, showing that death was very close to this subject; the presence of the node also disposed of by Venus brings the element of fate into the scenario. I think this was his day to die. I hate saying that, it sounds so fatalistic and forgiving, but I do not really feel that way myself. I am reading the charts and this is what they say. Take it or leave it.

Not knowing how long after 2 pm he actually left the apartment, it is hard to tell exactly where he was at any given moment. However, since he was last seen at 2 pm I did a chart for that hour. Now, I do a chart for an hour later, assuming that he would have had time to both leave and to get a move on down the road by then. The chart for 3 pm has the beginnings of a "death pattern" but it's not complete yet so I run charts for every 5 minutes after three until it I see it complete. The chart I am showing you is for 3:20 pm that day and I believe it shows that he died there in the woods not longer after he left. First of all, let me explain the death pattern. The Moon has moved into the twelfth, Neptune has reached the nadir, the twelfth house ruler, Venus, is in the eighth house and the fourth house ruler has entered the fourth house. Venus is also the seventh house ruler and marks the next person he is going to meet. It is positioned in the eighth house and this describes a desperate criminal personality that is in dire need of money. Venus in Gemini disposed of by Mercury describes a young person who moves around a lot and may be a transient to the area. Venus is retrograde so this person has lived a life of deprivation and desperation has been long and unrelieved. Venus trines Neptune at the nadir so there may have been a drug problem or this person may have been drunk at the time, also supported by Neptune ruling the fifth house. Neptune and Uranus are in the mutual reception in the fourth house so this was a sudden opportunity.

The twelfth house ruler is Venus which is in the eighth house, rules the seventh house and is disposed of by Mercury in Cancer, which is also the eighth house ruler. This is a death pattern showing activity involving Venus and Mercury. In addition, the first house ruler and the Moon are both disposed of by Mars in the ninth. This tells me that Craig did pass through or very near to the hunting area. Pluto is in the second house in Sagittarius showing a knife or other pointed object. Gemini points at something moving fast through the air. In the chart for 2 pm, Aries is on the seventh house cusp with Mars in Leo in the ninth so it is likely he was shot. Mars in Leo in the ninth describes a gold or bright object; perhaps a bullet? Mars disposes of the Moon in the first house, almost like he walks into the line of fire. Combined with the seventh house ruler in the first chart, I am thinking he was confronted by a criminal in the woods and shot. The group of aspects among all of these charts just gets more complicated but I do believe he was killed in the woods and most likely left in a body of water. Saturn, which describes a dead body, is in the sign Cancer in the ninth house, showing me "water" in the "woods". Mercury so close by shows this to be a very small body of water or one that moves swiftly, like a river. If there is a river close by in the immediate area, this is a strong possibility.

I continue my analysis by looking at charts for 3:30 and 4:00 pm in order to discover where the body may be located. Saturn describes the body, it's condition and location and since it disposes of the chart ruler and is placed in conjunction with inner planets, I would say that it is definitive. It is in the sign Cancer in the ninth house, which, as I already said, points to a body of water in the woods. Mercury is close by and so is the Sun so this is either a small body of water with lots of birds or a fast moving river that travels at times through wooded areas. The Sun indicates that the body is in a part of the water that is exposed to sunlight and not in a shaded area or along a bank under trees. It is definitely in the water, perhaps in an area populated with shellfish. If this is a small body of water like a pond or a lake there would lots and lots of birds and small shellfish like abalone, small clams, crabs and mussels. A fast moving river would have similar assets. His body may be found near shellfish bed and in a shallow enough area for the sun to reach the body. Other clues are found in the disposition of the Moon in Scorpio. The area probably has sewer runoff or a cesspool nearby or possibly a pollution problem due to sewer runoff into the lake or river. There should be stinging insects, mostly the crawling kind. The area around the lake or river would be wooded but also mucky. There may be a nearby marsh. Pay attention to odors in the area; there should be offensive odors. With Mercury in Cancer disposed of by Moon in Scorpio, I tend to think there might be rotten fish. There may be fish die off in either the lake, the river or the marsh, possibly due to runoff pollution. Again, there may be a nearby sewer plant or other sources of sewage and there may have been an accident in the past, mucking up the water.

As I said before, the person who did this is a bum. I know that's a very general word but some of the words we used to use to describe this placement are now politically incorrect and offensive. Suffice to say he or she lives a hard life and is engaged in criminal activity. A rather seamy sort, should I say. Mars in Leo and Venus in Gemini describe this person. There are also dispostions that affect this description, including the disposition of Venus by Mercury, showing this person to be young. Mars in Leo can give a well made, muscular body that is lean but strong. Usually Mars in Leo can give coarse, wiry hair and striking blue eyes. This is NOT a description of a person born with Mars in Leo, it is a traditional reading for the overall influence of this placement. Venus in Gemini gives lots of brown hair and either grey or hazel eyes. Overall, I think this is a person with lots of wiry brown hair and light eyes. I think this is a good guess. Mars in Leo disposed of by the Sun in Cancer leads me to believe that this person is male. In general, Venus in Gemini makes this person expressive with the hands and a fast talker. Smooth way of speaking, could be a great salesperson but can also be a good swindler. Both Mars in Leo and Venus in Gemini have the propensity to take what is not theirs without permission. Gemini and Virgo and the planet Mercury are all markers for thieves. I think this person tried to rob Craig and then shot him.

Both markers for this person makes this person a bragger, a talker. He likes to boast and brag about what he gets away with. Jupiter smiled on him that day and he got away with this crime. But there is a good chance he has told someone, someone who could be a witness. Craig got unlucky this day; the inconjunction between Venus and the Moon confused him and he made a bad choice. He took the wrong path and ended up in the wrong place. He did pass by the hunting area but I do not think he was shot by a hunter neither do I think this was an accident. He did not run off, as some have suggested, because the death pattern is very clear. According to Astrology, Craig Frear is dead. I hope they continue looking for him and eventually find him so the family can give him a proper burial. I also hope that friend of this murderer eventually tells someone who cares enough to tell the police. If you know anything about this case, please the New York State Police at 518-630-1700. Thanks for reading my blog.

Hope Danielle Meek

Woman Disappears After Fight With Husband

From one of my readers:

"Hope Danielle Meek disappeared on February 21,2002 from her home in Valliant Oklahoma, under suspicious circumstances and foul play is suspected on the part of her husband since he had been abusing her for almost 4 years. Hope has three children, who at the time of Hope's disappearance were 6 yrs, 3 yrs and 10 mos old.

"Hope worked as a jailer, escorting inmates from their jail cells to court appearances and never reported to work, never called in and never picked up the final check she would have had coming. When the law searched the house all her things were there. On top of her children, her new truck, cell phone, eye glasses, contacts, bank books, credit cards, bank cards, clothes and personal affects were all inside the house. The law enforcement even found her truck keys hid inside the oven.

The husband Jerry Meek has never worked with the investigators, tried to divorce hope, had carpet removed form the house the weekend after Hopes disappearance and within a month of Hope's disappearance moved another woman in the home. He will not let Hope's mother see the children, although she has court ordered visitation. Hope would not just leave, her children were her life and she was very close to her mother and sister. Law enforcement pulled her phone records and proved she would talk to her mom and sister at least 5 times a day."

"It was the husband's story that he last saw Hope on Feb 21st at 3 p.m., but nobody had spoken to her since the 20th at 6 p.m. when she was on the phone crying to mom that he beat her so bad she could not get up to get her son who was three a pickle, since he wanted one."

*****************

As I noted above, this case was sent to me by a reader. This person has a close association with the case so I consider the facts given in quotes to be accurate. I matched information on the website, Project Jason, and from the NC missing persons website and included them both above. I think the information all dovetails with no loose ends so I decided to try to get a viable chart. Although the last reported sighting was for 3 pm on February 21st, this information was given by her husband and has since come to be considered false. The family gives 6 pm the evening before as the last time anyone spoke to Hope so I chose to begin with that time and date. The first chart I drew was for the hour of 6 pm on February 20th, 2002 in Valliant, Oklahoma. I did not want to jump to conclusions and just look at the husband without other considerations. Although he is very suspect in the case, mostly because he had beaten on her many times and this has been documented as fact, I did not want to just go there. She could have walked off. She could have been chased off. Her husband could have had her killed. Or someone else might have taken her and killed her. All possibilities (even if not probabilities) so I tried to keep an open mind from the start.

It has been said that during her last phone call home she told her family that her husband had beat her so badly that she could not even get up. Looking at the chart you can see that Virgo is rising with Mercury in the sixth house. Any time the chart ruler is placed in the sixth house, the general reading is that the person is either very ill or in very bad shape. This confirms Hopes' claim that she was in a bad way. Notice also that Pisces rules the seventh house and that Neptune is in the sixth, alongside Mercury. Neptune would be her husbands' marker. So there they were, together, and in a "bad way". At the very least, I would say these people were ill. Notice also that their two markers are both disposed of by Uranus, also placed in the sixth. I hate to say this but I think they were together for this reason. Their relationship was "unusual" and, in some fashion, "unacceptable" so they dug in. Neither one was willing to leave the other, willing to build on each other's "illness", whatever kind of illness that may be. There was an attraction between them that was built on something eccentric or unusual.

The Moon in Gemini conjunct Saturn in the tenth house tells us that Hope is calling her parents. So the chart reflects the 6 pm phone call. This is one aspect that truly supports the viability of the chart. Moon in Gemini (telephones) conjoined Saturn (discipline & responsibility- she called her mother several times a day every day no matter what) in the tenth house (parents). She called her mother even if it meant telling her that her husband had beaten her. Saturn in Gemini emphasizes burdens and difficulties with relatives, especially siblings but also cousins or in laws. The north node in the tenth in Gemini restates what we already know, that she actually plans to call her parents, which she does everyday. Notice also that all of these planets, the Moon, Saturn and the node, are disposed of by Mercury which is also the first house ruler. So Mercury is Hope's marker and she is the one making the call. This just fits so nicely that I have to call the chart viable and go forward from here.

Pluto in Sagittarius in the fourth house shows violence in the home. I am thinking that he probably stabbed her, if not at this time, then later on. Pluto in Sagittarius often describes brutality using pointed objects. Pluto is disposed of by Jupiter in Cancer in the eleventh house. This is where I first see a hint that he is having an affair. The eleventh house describes relationships outside of traditional marriage and Cancer there indicates family. He enjoys this woman (Jupiter) and wants to have a family with her (Cancer). This is why he is beating on Hope, his current wife. He does not want her anymore. I could actually go on and on about this, looking at the Moon, Saturn and Mercury but I will leave it at this. This is descriptive enough. As long as it shows the viability of the chart, this is all we need to know.

After seeing this first chart and thinking about how she had just disappeared, I began to wonder if maybe this beating hadn't eventually killed her. He could have broken a rib that might have punctured a lung or something like that. And if he wanted to get rid of her when she started to get really sick he would not have helped her, probably. So I started looking at the charts hour by hour. The chart for 8 pm shows the parents with the children, perhaps entertaining them to distract them. The first and seventh house rulers are now in the fifth house (the house of children) and the Moon has moved into the ninth along with Saturn, which is the fifth house ruler. So perhaps the children have been sent or taken outside for a break. Perhaps they have gone out with a pet or to play with balls.

This chart shows two things. They have put the children to bed and Hope is with them. You can see this by noting that the fifth house ruler, Uranus, and the natural marker for children, Mercury, have both moved into the fourth house. The seventh house ruler, Mars, is positioned in the seventh while the first house ruler, Venus, is in the fifth. This shows Hope with the children. Since Venus is under the Sun's beams, she is in grave danger. She must sense this because she is essentially "hiding" with the kids. You see Mercury and Neptune together, which indicates she may have put the kids to bed in a secret place, someplace hidden or where she doesn't think her husband will find them. Venus in the fifth house shows her with them (the fifth house rules the kids) and since Venus is disposed of by Neptune, then her whole purpose at this time is to hide the kids and to hide herself. She is trying to avoid another beating. Mars in the seventh in Aries seems to hint that perhaps her husband is being aggressive again. Mars in Aries is in dignity and is extremely powerful. She really has no defense against him.

The scary aspect for me is the tenth house ruler and chart co ruler, the Moon, is in the eighth house close to Saturn. Both of these planets are square to Hopes' marker, Venus, and to the Sun, both in the fifth house. They fight a lot over the kids and over their sex life. He thinks of her as a "problem", like a "millstone around his neck"; the old "ball and chain". He has a temper and doesn't control it well. She is intimidated and becomes emotional very quickly which makes him even more angry. Moon and Saturn in Gemini in the eighth makes me think he is planning to strangle her. This is a position describing smothering or strangulation. I am not sure yet this is what he did, it just looks possible. But the time of death is not present in this chart or in any of the other late night charts. Nothing much happens until the early morning hours of the 21st. Until then, the charts show her asleep with the kids and her husband elsewhere in the home.

The first chart to show further interaction between Hope and her husband is the chart for 3 am. Timing in charts is very hard to pin down so you cannot assume that this was the exact physical time, just that the energies appeared around this time and that the aspects were stirring. This chart has Sagittarius rising with Jupiter in the seventh house, showing that Hope is with her husband. Whether he came and got her or she went to him is indiscernible. But they are together again at 3 am. Mars is in the fourth so violence is probable. Pluto is in the twelfth so it was done in a secretive fashion, perhaps not to wake the babies. Pluto trine Mars and he is back in control, instigating the violence, taking it out on her. Her ruler, Jupiter, is disposed of by the chart co ruler, the Moon and it is placed in the sixth. She is bad shape. Moon conjoined Saturn in the sixth is a bad sign. She can't take much more abuse and she is lingering. She may not realize how bad off she really is; she has come back from this before. But, this time, as Saturn is showing us, she is in grave danger of dieing. The node in the sixth opposite Pluto shows that he plans to hurt her and maybe get her to leave but had not planned to kill her. Not specifically. Just generally hurt her enough to perhaps get her to leave. The opposition from Pluto to the node shows that he went farther than his plan called for. He lost control and went too far.

Why did Hope put up with this? The disposition of her marker, Jupiter, by the Moon in Gemini tells us she hung on for the kids. I do not know if Hope had twins but there were, at the least, two particular children among the three that she was most concerned about. She would not leave her kids. Also, Venus trine Jupiter and square Pluto tells me that she felt fortunate in many ways and did not want to be ungrateful. It also tells me that she had faith in herself and thought she could take just about anything. She was lucky and would be ok; she was strong enough to cope with whatever he dished out. Pluto also tells us that she has seen abuse before; perhaps her job as a prison guard made her think that things could be a whole lot worse. I am sure she had seen worse. It also probably made her feel strong and she felt she could take it. She was tough, after all. Tough enough to tough it out and be there for the kids. And perhaps it was this physical strength and mental toughness that kept her alive as long as it did. But this night things went farther than they had before and she paid the price. Or at least that seems to be what the charts are saying.

In the chart for 4 am, notice that the first and seventh house rulers are together in the fifth house. There is no doubt that Hope and her husband are still together in the house but what are they doing? Because both planets are in Gemini in the fifth house I think they might be discussing the children. Gemini is ruled of by Mercury, the natural ruler of children. The fifth house is the natural house for children. Mercury is disposed of by Uranus in Aquarius in the second house. So perhaps they were discussing money and the kids. If they were talking about divorce, a point of contention would have been custody of the kids and a big argument regarding custody involves money. Who had enough money to care properly for the kids? If there was any question about this, about one spouse being better off than the other, this could spark a fight. Because Mercury is close to Neptune in the first house, she is trying to keep something secret, most likely from the children. The first house rules Hope and Mercury marks the kids. So perhaps she is trying to keep their fighting from the kids? Pluto in the twelfth here even makes me think that whatever they were doing it has the feeling of force and near violence which is what she may be trying to keep quiet. In all, they appear to be in the kid's room while this argument is going on.

There is no death pattern in this chart so Hope is alive. I won't say well because so many planets keep popping in the sixth house showing her to be in bad shape. Mars in the third house here shows a verbal fight and Mars in Aries is pretty intense. Mars is exactly sextile to the node which makes me think that he might have planned this out. To get into a fight with her in the wee hours when she was weakest after a previous beating and when the kids were asleep. Mars is sinister to a sextile with Uranus as well, which describes something unexpected that works in his favor. So the element of surprise was used. She did not expect him to start an argument at this time. One final note. Both of their rulers, the Moon and Saturn, are disposed of by Mercury. Mercury, in turn, is inconjunct to Jupiter, which is right at the seventh house cusp. They are arguing about their relationship, no doubt, but there seems to be a miscalculation. An inconjunction indicates a miscalculation that is made and since it aspects Mercury, I think something was said that was not meant to be said. I think this might have been an accidental admittance of something. Something that could not be taken back but changed everything. And I mean changed it enough to spark real trouble between them.

The chart for 5 am doesn't show much difference. Both markers are still in the fifth house and Mars is still in the third. With Mars and Pluto ruling the midheaven and the tenth house describing them as parents, I would think they are arguing about the children and their marriage. Uranus has moved into the first house and represents my first marker that points to a death pattern in the future. Let me explain that. Uranus enters the first just as the last few degrees of Capricorn move onto the ascendant. The current eighth house ruler, Mercury, is moving towards the first house cusp. Saturn is just outside the fourth house in the fifth. This tells me three things. Aquarius will take the midheaven and Uranus will move into the twelfth sometime during that period. Mercury, the eighth house ruler, will move into the twelfth as well. And that Saturn, the descriptor of the body and it's bones, will enter the fourth house during the same time period. So I am looking forward to finding the death pattern in the next few charts. Remember, once again, that timing is hard to pin point in a chart so this is a general energy pattern over the course of several hours.

I am showing you both these charts together to show you how I see the death pattern and that it is consistant. I admit that by the time I had finished reviewing the first chart, I was looking at her husband pretty hard. None of the charts show her leaving this house. Right from the start, they supported the facts that he had been beating her that same day. In fact, the charts made the beating look worse than people had said. And I don't see anyone else in this chart that I might call a suspect. So when the death pattern appears and the only other person in the room with her is the same person who has been there all night, I had to conclude that the husband had something to do with this. I had seen earlier, in the first two charts, that he might strangle or smother her. This chart supports that theory. In the chart for 6:45 am, Aquarius rules the first with Uranus in the twelfth in the air sign. Saturn is in Gemini at the nadir. Saturn is disposed of by Mercury in the twelfth house, also in the sign Aquarius. Mercury is conjoined Neptune in Aquarius. The Moon is in Gemini in the fourth house. And the eighth house ruler, Venus, is in Pisces and is disposed of by Neptune. All of this air sign activity in death houses points to smothering or at the very least, choking off the air supply. Especially with Saturn at the nadir. She crosses over by not breathing. It's just that simple.

Venus in the first in this chart is another marker for Hope. Venus is under the Sun's beams, a sign of grave danger. Very few people survive this marker. With Venus disposed of by Neptune in the twelfth, she would be placed in a very dark, hidden place where no one would ever look. Venus is square to both the Moon and Saturn which tells me that she would die simply because she was his wife. This is seen through the traditional marker for women and wives with the traditional marker for death. Venus is angular in the first, in exaltation in Pisces and is a very powerful marker for Hope. With all the squares from planets in these charts, she is struggling to remain in her marriage and her home. The one thing she had was personal happiness and an ability to enjoy life. This was shown by the strong trine to Venus from Jupiter in Cancer. Her children made her happy. She also knew how to enjoy life and this was a quality that made her strong.

Please note between these two charts that the death pattern repeats itself in the second chart. In the 7 am chart, Pisces has moved onto the Ascendant with Neptune in the twelfth. This shows that even though her ruler changes, the effect remains the same. It remains in a death house. The Moon remains in the fourth house with Saturn nearby at the nadir. Saturn also rules the twelfth house. So the basic death pattern continues even though the first house ruler has changed. This shows consistancy and supports the theory that she is now dead. I must also point out something interesting here. The first and seventh house rulers, Neptune and Mercury, are conjoined in the twelfth house. This shows the two of them to still be together, just as the Saturn and Moon conjunction indicated earlier. Now the conjunction falls into the twelfth house and the assumption is that one or both of them is dead.

At 7:30 am, the seventh house ruler, Mercury, moves alone into the eleventh house. This short placement at this important moment tells me that there is a difference between the man and his wife. In short, her marker is still in the twelfth so she is the one that is dead. The first aspect that Mercury makes is a trine to Saturn which seems to say that his next contact is with her body. With Saturn, this is most likely a dead body. Saturn, literally, describes the bones. Saturn is conjoined the Moon and the Moon is Hopes' marker, so the dead body must be hers. Right away, I notice that her body is in the third house, which has many definitions. I will tackle those in the next chart. The fact that the seventh house ruler has moved into the eleventh tells us a few things. For one, the killer has now moved to the southeastern portion of the home. Literally, southeast of the part of the house where Hope is now. He moves into this part of the home and then brings her along later, as shown by their rulers coming together in the next chart.

This chart shows what happens to Hope after she has passed. The rulers have now come together in the eleventh house. Hope, ruled by Neptune, and the person she is with, who is assumed to be her husband, ruled by Mercury. Considering that the Moon and Saturn are in the third house and disposed of by Mercury in the eleventh in the Aquarius, he may have hidden her body in the house. Mercury rules the fourth house and is disposed of by Uranus in the twelfth. So it is likely that he puts her in an unexpected area of the home. A place where she is very well hidden and hard to find. Gemini points to walls that are papered over. Mercury points at children so perhaps in the kids' room? Also consider a study or library or any room where books were kept. Other areas to be considered are the garage (Mercury and the third house rule vehicles), in a mail box or storage area, under a stairway or in a small closet that is full of miscellany. I am thinking that with Mercury in Aquarius, Saturn in Gemini and Gemini on the fourth house cusp, she might be in the ceiling, overhead somehow or on a second floor. Is there an attic full of junk that might have books, paperwork, automobile parts, kid's toys or an old ionizer or dehumidifier? Consider all of these when thinking of what he did with her body.

Since Mercury and Neptune come together in the eleventh house, it is probable that he took her to the southeastern portion of the house. Or consider this to be the area south and to the east of the kid's bedroom, which is where Hope and her husband started their argument. This is accurate whether her husband did this or someone else appeared in the meantime. The seventh house is always the "other person" in a situation. I don't see other people coming along, the husband leaving the house or Hope leaving the house in any of these charts, so suffice to say that the charts are describing her and her husband. Notice that Saturn, her body, and the Moon, her marker, are together in Gemini in the third house. The third house points to the northeast. So this would jibe with the idea that she is on a second floor, in an attic or papered into a ceiling or upper wall. Think northeast when considering where this would be. Is the attic on the east side of the home? If there is a second floor, how about the room on the farthest side to the east? The Moon and Saturn disposed of by Mercury and all these air signs combine to support the idea that she is "up in the air" somehow. Gemini hints at false walls and ceilings, hidden closets, secret cabinets, storage areas in the attic. Gemini is also duplicitous so she might be behind something that appears to be all there is, such as a closet with a hidden door in the wall or ceiling, or anything else that is like this.

The eighth house co ruler, Pluto, is in the ninth house. This planet is disposed of by Jupiter in Cancer in the fourth house. Jupiter, in turn, is diposed of by Hope's marker, the Moon. Look closely around the kitchen or any closets that have sporting goods like fishing rods or guns. This is the best astrology has to offer. I hope it helps someone solve this case. As always, Astrologers are invited to offer their own theories and charts. Caroline Harte

Child is Murdered During Sleep Over

From one of my readers: "They layed down at 11:00 pm I believe I read somewhere that it was about 3:00am when the murder took place. She was 14 in 1969 so that would mean she was born in 1955."

From Caller.com :

PORT ARANSAS, Texas - Hours after two 14-year-old girls closed the cover on a novel they were reading during a sleepover, slipped into twin beds and turned off the lights, one girl's cry sent the other to wake her sleeping parents.

The events of that night, July 24, 1969, on Mustang Island have baffled investigators for 40 years. One girl died, and it so haunted her friend that it may have led her to kill herself decades later.

Genevieve Duncan met her daughter May on the stairs of the two-story beach house. May said the cry came from her friend, Caroline Harte. The mother heard a door slam, and found a terrifying sight downstairs: Caroline was gasping and bleeding on the bed, suffering from a stab wound to the heart. By the time they dressed to take her to a hospital, Caroline was dead.

The case is the oldest unsolved slaying in Nueces County, which includes Corpus Christi along the Texas Gulf Coast. The knife was never found. No motive was clear and no arrests were ever made.

Caroline's father, then-publisher of the San Antonio Express and Evening News, had an unsettling premonition after his brother, Edward, then publisher of the Corpus Christi Caller-Times, called to relay the news. "Sometimes, as we walked around in shock, I remember thinking to myself: This is a crime that will never be solved," said Houston Harte, whose father was a founder of Harte-Hanks Newspapers Inc.

"And I was right about that."

The last entry in a nearly 6-inch-thick pile of investigators' notes and crime scene photos is dated June 3, 1970, although Nueces County Sheriff's Lt. William Edge said sheriff's detectives 15 or 20 years ago made a round of calls checking on suspects who initially were questioned.

Even as investigators consider whether to pry into the case again, there isn't much to review. The house has changed owners, witnesses have passed away, files have been read and re-read. Years have gone by without so much as a tip about what might have happened to Caroline Harte.

"This case, if solved, will be because somebody told somebody, or somebody someday is going to want to get it off their chest at the end," Edge said. "That's how I see it."

*****************

This case was sent to me by one of my readers and it got my attention right away. A murder like this, in a house with other people present, which has never been solved is riveting. Even with a slamming door right afterward! No sightings, no fingerprints, no DNA, no clues, nothing at all. This person did this and just got away with it. I realize this was back in the 1960s and there were a lot of unsolved cases back then without DNA testing and other new techniques. But even today with all these new methods and new technology, there are still far too many cases that go unsolved. I would love to see justice done for little Caroline Harte but after looking at the charts, I am in great doubt that this will ever happen. You will see why I say that after you read my analysis.

I want to make a note about the time and date. Although none of the websites I had seen had information for the time of the murder, my reader did have this information, as I quoted her above. It was her information I used and I trusted her to have it right. If there are any discrepancies in the time as reported or other times that have been reported, please email me at the address on the sidebar so I can redo the chart or make addendums to this one if necessary. Please don't forget to send links if the information is available online.

You are going to be surprised by the presentation of only two charts with this post. I usually run several charts and sometimes I run many. But in this case the first chart gave me the whole story and I only used a second chart to try to see what became of the killer, who just got away. This type of analysis demands a little bit of intuition, a little bit of insight and a whole lot of translation to get the information I'm seeking. What I did was use the first chart for Caroline as she was alive and then also her death and then used the second chart as a mirror of the killer and tried to track this person from there. I know this sounds wierd and that's because it is. I have my own insane methods of making these charts talk.

Right waay, the charts appear to be viable. In the chart for 3 am, the time the murder occured, the first house ruler is Mercury, showing the subject to be a child, and Mercury is in the third house with the Sun. The Sun is the ruler of the fourth house, showing the subject to be at a friends house and not her own. Mercury is also disposed of by the Sun, showing that the subject was there because she had been invited by the other girl (the Sun). The third house tells me that they were in a part of the house that was added on after the rest of the house was built. It may have been attached to the house or even could be a removeable section. The reports refer to the girls being downstairs. This is borne out by the charts with the tenth house (the parents) holding the air sign, Aquarius (high places). The tenth house ruler, Uranus, is in the sign Libra, also showing heights. And the fifth house, the place for the children, contains the sign Virgo, which is ruled by Mercury, the natural marker for children. This sign also indicates that the part of the house the children were in was one that was added on after the house was built or was a removeable portion of the original house.

The seventh house ruler, Jupiter, is in the fifth house, the house which shows the children. This tells me that someone is in the area where the children are. Note that Jupiter is disposed of by Venus in the first house. This person was interested in girls. In turn, Venus is disposed of by Mercury, which is Caroline's marker, so we can assume that he was there specifically for her. Jupiter is conjunct Uranus in the fifth house, indicating that this was a sudden impulse, an uncontrollable urge. Since Uranus rules the tenth house, as I already noted, we can assume the assailant knew the parents stayed upstairs and would not be with the kids. The node is angular in the tenth house and shows that a plot or scheme was featured in this case meaning this was something that the killer very much wanted to do and waited for the sudden opportunity. I am thinking this opportunity was presented by Caroline staying over in this home, a place where she did not live. So this person must have been familiar with this home and that Caroline often went there. The scenario where the girls' bathing suits were stolen disturbs me. It fits too snugly into this chart. This could very well be a pedophile who had a fascination with Caroline.

Discuss This Case At My Forum

The Moon, the chart co ruler, is in Scorpio and disposed of by Mars in Sagittarius. Sagittarius often describes pointed objects like knives. Mars is the descriptor for acts of violence; Mars and Pluto. Pluto is angular in the fourth house in the sign Virgo! Once again, this planet is disposed of by Mercury, showing that the target was a child. Violence against a child. Can't get clearer than that. Please note that the chart co ruler, the Moon, is conjunct Neptune in the sixth house. There was something Caroline never mentioned, something she kept secret. These planets are in the sign Scorpio which hints that it may be sexual in nature. It looks like there may have been sexual contact with the murderer at some time, an assault that Caroline kept to herself? Moon in the sixth implies grave danger and that this child would be the victim. In charts for runaways, this placement usually means the child will never be seen again. In a case such as this, it is a sign that it will never be solved.

In the murder chart, it shows the assailant to be described by Jupiter in Libra. This makes the assailant a heavy set or even fat person with soft features. There is a lazy self indulgence about this person; he or she is always seeking gratification in the easiest fashion possible. This person likes luxury and to be surrounded by ease. This person has brown hair and blue or blue gray eyes. This person would have a full face, a prominent nose with a full tip and a well shaped, plump mouth. Dimples, clear complexion, perhaps freckles. Any race. Either sex. This person would also be generous, generally kind to others and have a great sense of humor. Likes to tell jokes. It is possible that this person is in business in the local area, in a business that caters to women like a hair dresser, dress shop, spa or lingerie shop. Any of these or actually any business that caters to women and probably a business that Caroline had visited. This person is very friendly and people oriented so there would be no problem approaching the child, for good or for bad. This person may be a pillar in the community, considered to be a good person and may be a church goer and a big contributor to the church. But there is also a dark side. An affinity for girls, a liking for attention and affection that can be carried too far, a generosity that is often used to lure others in a fashion that is not always ethical or moral. It is probable that this person is married and has children.

This chart reveals some interesting facts about this assailant. For one thing, you can see that the marker, Jupiter in Libra, moves from the fifth house (the area with the children) to the fourth house, which is the rest of the house. This is amazing but this person hid in the house or, at the least, on the property, and this while the child was discovered. Jupiter and Uranus have joined Pluto, a combination that actually describes the murder scene inside the home. This is the handiwork of the assailant and he or she is very excited about the aftermath. This person wants to witness what effect the murder has on others. In particular, the mother. This is shown by the seventh house ruler, Jupiter, being conjoined the tenth house ruler, Uranus in the fourth. Nearby is Pluto in Virgo, disposed of by Caroline Harte's marker, Mercury. Since Jupiter often describes joy, I would say that he was enjoying this. Watching the mother comes downstairs to see the bloody child. I agree with you! This is sick. But the chart is describing exactly this.

The chart co ruler, the Moon, is conjoined Neptune in the sixth house so there would be much about this murder that would never be discovered. The Moon describes silver plated articles and kitchenware so I am thinking they never found the knife. It was well hidden somewhere and never found? Otherwise if they did find it, it belonged in the household and had no fingerprints, leaving another mystery? Neptune describes something hidden, secret or disguised. The sixth house also describes something not found and a mystery never solved. The Moon is also a harbinger of mystery and illusion. But Mars in Sagittarius in the sixth disposed of by Jupiter, the seventh house ruler, in the fourth, describes a pointed object used in an act of aggression. This person may have brought this knife, afterall. Or if not, then this person knew where to find one. The kitchen (the Moon).

At the same time, Pluto and Mars rules the sixth house. Mars is in the sixth and Pluto is in the fourth which implies that this person was very sick. A sick person with violent tendencies and this person brought the sickness and the violence to this home (the fourth house). And I will say that it appears this person watched everything that happened afterwards from a vantage point in or on the same property. Considering this, Jupiter in Libra points to tall or large structures that rise up into the air. So there may have been a nearby balcony or rooftop that he utilized but it could have also been a tree. This person is not exactly athletic so a tree may have been prohibitive but I am not willing to say that because I have no idea how old the murderer was or even what sex. But suffice to say that I do believe that this person watched from a high vantage point nearby and most likely the same place he had watched the girls in the past. From here this person had seen them and possibly taken the bathing suits. But most importantly it indicates that this person was familiar with the neighborhood, the house, the girls. This person may have even lived nearby or been a frequent visitor to a nearby residence. Either way, this was no stranger and no accident. The target was Caroline Harte.
