Ordinarily, I would do a childs chart for a missing child but when they are old enough to "commandeer" their life to a great degree, I read them as adults. In other words, if a child is "at the mercy" of an adult, as they are when they are small, then I read them by the fifth house, as I did for Caylee Anthony. However, when a child is on her own, so to speak, off and doing things on his or her own, then they are "in control" of events and I read them as sovereign individuals. I hope this works, it is open to debate and it may be a mistake but I am going to try it anyways with Amber's chart. And so I forge onward, drawing up the first chart for the time at which she was last seen, 7:10 am. Right away, I see a few omens I don't like. Pisces is rising with Neptune in the twelfth house, under the Sun's beams. This makes me think that Amber was up to something "secret", that she told nobody else about and that this activity was putting her in great danger. But, honestly, what 14 year old girl ISN'T up to something? I was quite the conniver, myself, and I wasn't really a bad kid, just a kid pushing for adulthood as fast as I could. And even though my mother was a bloodhound and watched me like a hawk, I was still quite capable of getting off for a smoke or a beer with no one's knowledge. I am only reprising this in order to point out that any child is capable of getting into trouble, even kids who are basically good ones.

So we know that Amber is up to some secret activity. Notice also that the seventh house, which describes the person she is "about to meet" is ruled by Virgo and that Mercury is placed in the eleventh house. She has the intention of meeting up with a friend. In fact, she is headed to meet with that friend first thing this morning. Mercury is disposed of by Saturn, which is placed in the seventh house, telling me that she is hooking up with friend who is with an adult or, at the least, an older child. Mercury and Saturn are in mutual reception so I have no doubt the meeting occurred, in fact, the planets facilitated it. The Solar-Neptune conjunction is trine to the transiting Moon, which will translate the light from Neptune to the Sun sometime later in the day. The cluster of planets in the twelfth house are all disposed of by Uranus, in the first house, which tells me that Amber was an "instigator" or the actual cause of events as they occurred. I believe she planned something and carried it out, without realizing how much danger it would create for her. Actually, Neptune and Uranus are in mutual reception so the people she met this morning were there because she asked them to be. Everyone was along her path because she planned it that way. Strange, no?



In moving charts forward, I see that Uranus crosses the Ascendant at around 8 am, which means that something unexpected happens. Uranus is directly opposed to Saturn so this unexpected event involves an older individual. Still, noting that all of the angular rulers are still placed in the eleventh, I venture to say that Amber is still among her friends. There were people with her this morning, more than one other person, for sure, and why these people have not come forward is suspicious. I do realize that Neptune is under the Sun's beams, which describes great danger, and that whatever happened to Amber has people frightened. But how many people were involved in her actual disappearance? So far, it appears to be at least 3. Aries takes the Ascendant at 9 am with Mars now in the eleventh house, conjunct the Node. This is a karmic pointer, as I have said in many other charts. But Mars in the eleventh indicates that Amber is still among friends. The fact that all of the eleventh house planets are now disposed of by Uranus says that all of these people are engaged in something secret, something hidden. Is there a possibility that Amber had planned to run away and that she enlisted the aid of her friends to do so? At this time, Mars has not a single negative aspect and is, in fact, in a good place. Amber is safe and sound and in no danger whatsoever. Whatever danger the earlier episode held for her, it has evaporated over time. There is only one harbinger I must keep my eye on and that is the slipping of Venus into the twelfth while Libra is on the seventh. Someone new has appeared on the scene and it is someone Amber does not see. This person may or may not be of importance to events.

And then, by 9:45 in the morning, the aspects change again and it looks like someone is hiding this child. Taurus moves onto the first house, with Venus in the twelfth. It looks like Amber is back to hiding out, or trying not to be seen. I get the distinct feeling that she is skipping school and trying not to be seen by someone who might rat on her. Scorpio is on the seventh while Mars is placed in the tenth house, so the kids she is with are right out "in the open" in some way, such as out along a main roadway or in a parking lot or outside an apartment building, this sort of thing. She is hiding right out in the open.. such as being in the parking lot but staying back, out of view. But I do not see scary aspects at this point, no violent pointers or indications that she is held against her will. And then I run the charts forward, looking for progressive aspects and I see things evolving around 11 am. At this point, Scorpio is still on the seventh with Pluto in the eighth house disposed of by Saturn in the fifth. There is sexual activity at this point. Someone in the group is wanting or having sex. Pluto is square to Venus, still in the twelfth, which tells me that Amber was not agreeable to having sex. Mars, the seventh house co ruler, is sextile to Venus, however, telling me that she was not forced. She may have been, however, exposed to other people having sex. But, in fact, the chart tells me that she is with somebody she wants to be with. Now, I must ask the question: did she have a boyfriend? Someone she was infatuated with? An older boy, perhaps, that her parents did not or would not approve of? This is a place that should be examined. It looks to me like she was with an older boy she liked.



The chart for 10 am has Taurus rising and now the chart ruler, Venus, is in the twelfth. Often I see this a marker for death but in this instance, it has no supporting placements to give it credence. I am thinking this is Amber hiding. Venus is disposed by Mars in the tenth and Mars is well placed. The sextile to Mars is an important aspect and since Mars is unafflicted, I really feel that Amber is safe. Scorpio is on the seventh house, giving Mars even greater strength. She is in good relation with the person or persons she is with. The only dark spot I see is Pluto in Capricorn in the ninth house in a square to Venus. This tells me that perhaps her boyfriend or friend wants her to go somewhere far away and she is resisting. Is it possible that this person could be from another country, like Mexico or Canada? Could they have been planning to run away to his home country? This was a plan of sorts but one that Amber may have argued with him about. It appears there is a bone of contention between Amber and this other person and it may have involved leaving the area but it might have involved any ninth house area. School? Legal matters? Criminal activity? Immigration? Any of these things might have been an issue between them at this time. Take it to read by Pluto that he was trying to force things against her will.




But one other thing in the chart for 10 am must be pointed out. The Moon, Amber's co ruler, is in wide angle opposition to the chart ruler, Venus. Again, this is conflict. She is in conflict with herself, in fact. Emotionally, she wants one thing and romantically, she wants something else. This is all about romance (Venus) and her feelings (the Moon). Perhaps her mother. Perhaps her concern was for her mother. This is possible with these placements. So I move onto the next few hours and watch aspects unfold. At 11:30 or so that morning, it looks like there was forced sex after all. Pluto, still ruling the seventh, enters the eighth house and is disposed of by Saturn, which is now in the fifth. The man she is with has become demanding, he is all about sex and power over her. He is determined to force his will on her. Pluto is still square Venus while Saturn is opposed by Uranus. Aquarius is on the tenth angle and there are a bevy of planets in the midheaven. Most significantly, the Mars-Jupiter-Node conjunction in Aquarius. All the while, the Moon in Libra keeps showing Amber as trying to make things work. She has her heart set on being with this man so she allows anything and everything to happen.



And this includes a sexual relationship with this man. At 11 am, the chart starts to look a little hinky but even with the worst placements, the aspects keep showing Amber as being fine. In this chart, Gemini is rising and Mercury is now in the eighth. This is a scary placement in most forensic charts until you realize that Mercury is in mutual reception with Saturn, which is also trine to Mercury from the fourth house. Now, Saturn in the fourth is also a scary placement and in many charts it alone signals death. But here it is trine, in fine aspect to the chart ruler and in mutual reception, to boot. Any thoughts, ideas or even opportunities for Amber to be killed may occur but they do not materialize. The Node is conjunct Mars in the eighth house, as well, and this also looks bad. But in this case, with the aspects the way they are, I just can't read death. Perhaps someone else would think that way but in this case, I am seeing sex. In fact, I believe this man she was with not only wanted her to have sex with him, but with other people as well. I think he planned to pimp her out. The planets in the eighth house are all well placed with a the powerful addition of a conjunction from the Node to Jupiter. This show benefits and financial motivations circulating around sex and other people's money. Had Amber even stolen anything? Could she be coerced into stealing? What about sex? Had she been sexually active? Did she consider sex an avenue to money? All of these questions must be entertained in trying to discover what this child did. She appears to have left on her own accord with other people she actually chose to be with. This is why no one has come forward.

Now, admittedly, these aspects in these charts can be read various ways. In fact, the first time I went over the charts, which I always do in a cursory way before I tear them apart later on, I thought she had been killed. In fact, I saw the older man, I saw the sex aspects, I saw the death houses, and I cringed. But I never just run with my first reading unless it is so strong and clear I can't resist it. In most charts, I read them and re read them several times before settling on a final analysis. I don't tend to see things very differently in each instance, most of my readings are pretty consistent, but on closer inspection certain details take on different light. In close inspection of these charts for Amber Dubois, I just do not see this child is dead. I may be wrong... goodness knows, I am not perfect even if Astrology is. I often read wrong. So I will toss it to my readers to consider these charts and come up with their own analysis. And even as I run the charts forward throughout the day, I do not find death aspects but more of the same. These people do not leave the area; in fact, Amber appears to have been taken to a home nearby. A sex house, it seems. A sex house in the burbs where she is being used for sex; for prostitution, for films, for pictures, for money. Cancer takes over the Ascendant just after 1 pm and the Moon moves into the fourth. From this vantage point, there are a number of planets in the eighth house, including the tenth house ruler, Neptune. Neptune points to cameras, photographers, actors and movie makers. And, consistently, until very late in the day, Amber's rulers remain in the fourth house, showing her hidden nearby, in the hood, in a house. She was never taken far from home, she was not taken against her will and she is still there, doing this with these people because of her affection for this older man.



And this is what we know about the man. He is older than her, but that does not mean he is "older" so to speak. He may be 22 years old or any age older than Amber. He is a foreigner and he speaks with an accent. He is serious and somber and not much fun to be with. He can be demanding and controlling and can resort to violence to get his way. I do not see that he has intentions to hurt or kill this child. His marker throughout these charts is Saturn in Virgo. He is likely to be thin with a dark complexion and dark hair and eyes. He may have had previous arrests for theft and he may be known to have a mental disorder. He may be a brick mason, on the one hand, or he may be a school custodian, on the other. He is probably immature and acts young for his age and is known for hanging around the highschool kids.

I believe Amber is alive. I believe she is still in the same area. Please look at the picture and commit it to memory. If you live in the Escondido area of California, please keep your eye out. She may have colored her hair and changed her appearance. She may be walking the streets at night.
