"Richard "Cody" Haynes was born 4/16/93. By all accounts, his was a life with several strikes against it even from birth. Cody was raised by his father and in retrospect, many questions arise about the quality of his life. Cody was referred to children's protective services in Kittitas, Washington on at least two occasions before his disappearance.
The principal of his school at Ellensberg Elementary referred the Haynes' family to CPS in February 2002. Earlier the family was referred to CPS in Dec. 2001. Both times the referrals were for physical and emotional abuse and neglect.
Until Cody disappeared from the planet, CPS in Washington state deemed Cody's father was satisfactory even after investigating the complaints.
Cody Haynes was last seen alive on September 11, 2004. His father's girlfriend, Marla Jaye Harding, has a scuffle with Cody. According to the girlfriend, Cody refused to do some chores he was assigned after dinner. Cody had to remain in the kitchen until almost midnight that night. At midnight, again according to the girlfriend, Cody was sent to his room. His sisters were told not to go near his room. Nobody checked on Cody until 5 pm the following day. At which point Cody was not in his room and his father phoned in a missing person's report. Something terrible happened to Cody sometime after dinner September, 11 and 2:30 am later that night, September 12.
Because at 2:30 am that night, supposedly after the scuffle between Cody and his father's girlfriend, Cody's father, Richard Haynes, took a long and strange trip. When he left, to go "looking for car parts", Cody was allegedly in his room. Sent there after refusing to do his after dinner chores and after being punished by having to remain in the kitchen until midnight. Then Cody was, according to Richard and Marla, sent to his room. Two hours after sending Cody to his room, Richard Haynes embarks on a mission to find car parts at 2:30 a.m. and returns home at 4 p.m.,later in the day. An hour later he reported Cody missing.
Child Protective Services failed Cody, now the justice system might fail Cody.
Cody and his four sisters were alleged to be home-schooled and did not attend local schools. Two referrals to CPS and no one checked into the "quality" of this home schooling. CPS thought the children were fine. So much so that there was no need to even bother checking.
A week after Cody vanished, his sisters were removed from their father's home and placed into foster care. The removal order alleged abuse, neglect and lack of supervision in the Haynes household and was based mainly on the fact that the girls' brother, Cody, had been made to stay in his room for eighteen hours without being allowed to eat, drink, or use the toilet and without being checked on by an adult. Harding stated that he was a rebellious and deceitful child and needed discipline. Cody's sisters had been declared dependent by the state.
Richard and Harding, who married sometime after September 2004, have hired lawyers and will not cooperate with investigators about Cody's disappearance. The rest of his family has cooperated fully with police. Before the Haynes children were taken from their home, Richard refused to allow police to question them.Richard was reported to CPS for possibly physically and emotionally abusing and neglecting his children. Witnesses stated that the Haynes children were made to stand outside for long periods in the wintertime without coats or shoes. Both times the allegations were found to be without merit.
Haynes told The Spokesman-Review he would not discuss his son's disappearance without his attorney present."I'm not interested in talking about it. I'm not talking without my attorney present. No way," he said. Meanwhile, Richard Haynes and Marla Harding have lawyered up and refused to attend a candlelight vigil for their son. Even a preliminary scan of the facts reveals that Richard Haynes was not a model father. Richard Haynes lived with his girlfriend in a tiny apartment with five children.
Now the police and attorney general are at odds.It's a certainty that the CPS has failed Cody Haynes.In February 2005, police obtained a warrant searched the Haynes residence. They had interviewed Cody's sisters several times since their placement in foster care. Initially the girls said nothing had happened to their brother, but later Cody's oldest sister told investigators that he had been beaten severely inside his home the day he vanished. Police searched for traces of blood in the apartment's kitchen to back up the sister's story, but the flooring there had been replaced after Cody's disappearance and without the landlord's knowledge or consent. A second search was made and police seized a computer and Richard's Chevrolet Suburban. They also searched Harding's car. Authorities made what they termed a "significant discovery" during one of these searches, but have not elaborated on what exactly it was they found.
To this day,Cody is still missing and no arrests have been made."

This child had a rough life and that touches me. Having had a bit of a rough go of it myself I am really compassionate towards children who are abused or bullied. It makes life so much harder than it has to be and life is hard enough without all that baggage. Looking at his picture makes it all even worse for me. This boy was an adorable child. I am not sure where I got the info on this case, it could have been from a reader or it could have been from an online post. But I was attracted to it and then when I saw the charts, I knew I had to read them. The charts, now that I have read them all, are quite clear and draw an entirely different picture of this case than I have heard anywhere else.
Right away, the charts were tricky because the timeline was just outrageous. So obviously fabricated. I mean, they say they forced the boy to do chores in the kitchen until midnight, which is a nasty thing in my opinion to begin with. Then they send him to his room after midnight and forbid anyone from entering his room. This until 5 pm the next day, when they finally decide to declare him missing. But then only after his father goes on a strange trip at 2:30 am and doesn't come back for over 12 hours. Strange is a mild term for what I think this is. Sounds a lot like the Powell case, doesn't it? With midnight camping trips and all that rot. Right away, I am pretty convinced the father and his girlfriend are making up stories to deflect the police and they know all too well what happened to this boy. It's just ridiculous to believe otherwise.
Although I went into this a bit prejudiced, I made every effort to keep an open mind. I mean, my personal opinions are often way off base. The charts, however, are usually spot on so I will leave it to them to tell me what happened rather than the other way around. The first chart I drew up was for 11 pm that evening, just to see how events unfolded during the entire evening. You can clearly see, looking at this chart, that the child is still in the home at that hour. He appears to be alive. Mercury rules the fifth (the natural ruler for children and the ruler of the fifth, the natural house for children) and it is placed in the fourth house (the home). Notice that the first house ruler is also Mercury with Jupiter on the seventh cusp. This is the father and his girlfriend and notice that Jupiter is in the fifth house along with Mars and the Sun. The fifth house shows the physical bedroom in the home and the presence of the Sun, the fourth house ruler, also there, shows one or both adults in the child's bedroom. I think both of them were there, Jupiter being the girlfriend and Mercury ruling both the boy and his father. Since it rules two cusps, I am thinking it shows two people. So I am pretty sure this chart shows us the adults in the child's bedroom with the child still in the home.
The standout markers in this chart, for me, are Pluto at the seventh cusp and Saturn in the second. Saturn has strong financial indicators in this chart, being the ruler of the eighth house, placed in the second, disposed of by the Moon at the nadir with the Moon ruling the second. Pluto shows a chaotic situation, a disturbance of some sort, and they have admitted that the stepmother was always angry at the child and this night there was an argument. This chart seems to indicate that the girlfriend was a disruptive force within the family unit and was always campaigning for change. Since Jupiter is disposed of by Mercury, it is probable that he either blamed the children for her discontent or wanted to make big changes involving the kids. This is all blending tightly with Saturn in the second, in fall in the sign Cancer. They were having big financial problems within this family and because the Moon is placed right at the nadir, I would say they were afraid they might not be able to stay in their home. This is supported by Uranus, which rules the tenth house from the tenth and opposing Mercury from the fourth. Now, taking the Moon, a strong significator and chart co-ruler, and seeing that it is disposed of by the Sun, which is in the fifth in a wide but same sign conjunction with Jupiter, I would think she thought if they made changes involving the children they could solve their money troubles.
The next chart I work on is the one for midnight. Right away, I see that the child is now in the car with an adult. This is shown by Mercury and the Moon in the third house. Moon rules the first house so this is his father. Notice that the seventh house ruler is now Saturn, the marker so far for their financial struggle, and it is conjoined Venus, which rules the fifth. Doesn't this look like a financial transaction involving the child? At the very least, a financial plan? Notice also the node in the eleventh house, disposed of by Venus, the ruler of the fifth. Doesn't this look like a plan, as well, involving the children? The eleventh house can mean friends but it also often means trouble in relationships. It is the house of divorce. There is a strong indicator that their relationship was in serious trouble and because of the financial strain, may have collapsed altogether without a solution. Since they believe the source of their troubles to be both financial and the cost and difficulty of raising so many kids, it is possible that they were planning to make some big changes in this area. They appear to have taken Cody in a car at midnight with a plan in mind.
The charts do seem to indicate that he traveled quite some distance with the boy. Running the charts way forward, I see them in the car for hours. Isn't this strange? Would he have taken the boy to look for car parts? Perhaps something happened while they were out looking for car parts and the child was accidentally killed? This would fit the profile, with money troubles perhaps they were trying to put the boy to work? Anyways, running the charts way forward I suddenly see where things change. Up until about 2:30 am, the time, by the way that he says he left the home, the seventh house rulers keep showing the boy and his father alone in the car. At 12:30 am and 1:30 am, for instance, the seventh house ruler remains in the first with the Moon and Mercury in the third. This shows everyone in the current event to be together in the car. At just after 1:30, the Moon moves into the second, which dovetails with the next chart, as I will show you.
In the chart for 2:30 am, the magic hour Cody's father gives for leaving home to "look for car parts", you can see that someone else is moving into the event. The first and fifth house rulers are still in the third house, showing ongoing movement. The fifth house co ruler, Pluto, has moved into the fifth. The seventh house ruler is in the eighth house, in mutual reception with the eighth house ruler, which is in the seventh. This is a clear descriptor for a criminal presence. This new person, who has just arrived on the horizon, is a criminal personality who lives "on the edge" of society. I do not like Neptune in the seventh, which describes someone with peculiarities and dependencies. This is not a member of their family and anyone they know well. Mars rules the tenth from the third and also rules the fifth. It is conjoined to the first house ruler, the Sun. Cody and his father have arrived at this man's home or place of residence. Aries on the tenth house cusp would not be unusual to describe a "criminal hideout" or a place where thieves or outlaws hide. At this same hour, you can see that the node has arrived in the tenth house, as well, in the sign Taurus and disposed of by the fourth house ruler, Venus. This man's home is also his place of business. And Cody's father is there to conduct business.
There is one really good thing I want to offer here. No matter how far ahead I run the charts I do not see a death pattern. I do not believe this child is dead. In fact, the next chart is for the time when the father claims to have come home and found him missing. It clearly shows that the boy is in the hands of someone else. The first house ruler, Saturn, the fourth house ruler, Venus, the fifth house ruler, Mercury, and the chart co ruler, the Moon, are all in the seventh house. Even at this late hour you can see that the child is still alive and that there are no omens for death. So this is good news. So what happened to Cody? I believe, from these charts, that the was sold for money or put to work somewhere. In every chart and instance, the second house and eighth house rulers are featured. There are no sex links from the fifth house so he may not be in the sex trade. I'm not saying this to be the case for absolute certain, just that the charts do not feature the markers. But they do feature work and money an awful lot so I am pretty sure that whatever they did with Cody it was for compensation. And he was sold or handed over to criminals.
In an effort to describe the person he was given to and to figure out what direction his father traveled in to get there, I will refer back to the earlier charts. Please refer to them as I tell you what I see. The first chart I will consider is the chart for the time when I first saw the boy in the car with his father. This is the chart for midnight. Notice that the Sun rules the third and it is placed in the fourth house, showing a direction due north. The Moon in the third, which helps describe the actual movement of the car, shows us an easterly turn (Leo) during a long trip north. So this describes a start due north with a slow easterly drift along the way. Sun rules the third which is disposed of by Mercury so they went along avenues and streets and not so many highways. Residential areas perhaps or areas with trade and commerce such as city streets. They are definitely heading towards Uranus in Pisces, as Uranus rules the ninth house cusp (their destination) but is placed at the mid heaven. This describes a city destination, perhaps even a "downtown" destination in an area with lots of commercial businesses. Pisces can describe tenements and slums while Uranus also describes an area with technology based businesses such as radio stations, cell phone companies, TV stations, camera or spy equipment manufacturers or dealers, etc.. Pisces can also describe hospitals, old age homes, hospice, businesses that service the elderly or sick, etc.. which could be in the same area. Because Uranus in Pisces is right on the mid heaven, I dare guess there is a drug rehab center in the immediate area. Remember that this place is a hideout for criminals, a place where the bad guys hang out. So it is probably in a tenement or slum in a city downtown area.
Between the time I see them leaving, which is midnight, and the time the charts show us they arrive, which is 2:30 am, the distance between Mercury (their starting point) and Mars (their arrival time) is about 18 degrees in a mutable sign (Virgo). It is always easy to determine a length of time involving days, weeks or even years and a little trickier to boil it down to minutes and hours. It is also really difficult to boil down actual distance on the surface of the Earth as it relates to planets and stars in the sky. As I have said before, there is a difference between Earth time and Celestial time. I will show you exactly how I manage it in the next ebook, I promise you. But for now, I will simply toss out a distance of about 270 miles due north with a slight easterly turn and a time frame of about 5 hours. I know the charts show 2 hours by chart time but I believe my calculation is accurate for Earth time. So anybody considering where he took the child could start with this calculation, giving 270 miles (or thereabouts) due north and 5 hours travel time, mostly along smaller streets and avenues and not on an interstate.
The descriptors I have isolated for the man who took Cody center around the placement of Uranus in Pisces. This man may be considered "sleazy" by most of the people who know him but he is also artistic, creative, unusual and peculiar in personality. He has a lot of addictions and habits, likes to collect things and has a sentimental quality to his nature. He loves old things. In fact, he might steal antiques or other valuable antiquities or just old stuff. Photography and art are hobbies. He likes tech stuff, too, and probably has the newest gadgets. There is something odd in the way he looks, perhaps a quirky hairdo or odd facial expressions. He is a talented liar and actor, putting it on for people and spinning everything. None the less, he is not a good salesman and most people don't believe anything he says. He is just too "out of the mainstream" for most. Neptune gives a pale, thin appearance. He may be a drug abuser or just look like a heroin addict. Uranus and Neptune are both retrograde so he is rather slow, or just not as bright or "on the ball" as others. He is probably distant and "spaced out" a lot of the time. The strongest aspect affecting Uranus is an opposition from Mercury. He does not have children himself but he has an interest in children. I don't see sexual markers or perversions in any of these charts, so perhaps he sells children for adoption (Neptune rules adoption). His sixth house marker is the Moon, which is in the second house of Cody's father, showing a financial transaction. I think these charts clearly show that Mr. Haynes sold his child for cash and the boy is still alive and in the hands of criminals many miles away.
Investigators are searching for Ayla Reynolds, a 20 month old Maine gilr believed to have vanished from her bed while her family slept.
Reynold's father, Justin DiPietro, told investigators he last saw the child at around 8 pm on Dec 16, 2011, when he put her to sleep in her own bedroom.
The following morning, at around 8:50 am, he called police to say her bed was empty.
WATERVILLE, Maine - The frustration continues to grow for the family of a missing Maine toddler as the five-month mark approaches with no arrests and no new developments.
Ayla Reynolds was 20 months old when she disappeared from the home of her father, Justin DiPietro, in Waterville on the night of Dec. 16. She was reported missing the following morning. The father's family contends Ayla was taken by someone, but police say there's no evidence of that.
Ayla's maternal grandfather, Ronald Reynolds, says the wait for new information has been excruciating. He says the family needs answers about what happened.
State police have confirmed that Ayla's blood was found in the home and investigators say the adults in the home that night have not been forthcoming. Beyond that, investigators are mum.
COMMENTARY | The release of a second round of medical records concerning missing baby Ayla Reynolds' broken arm shows her father's version of events again at odds with the injury description given by the medical professionals treating the then-19-month-old.
The latest medical records relate to an emergency room visit Nov. 12. They reflect an examination in which Ayla's wrist and hand were described as normal on inspection, nontender, with a normal range of motion. This is contrary to what DiPietro said.
DiPietro told the Kennebec Journal on Jan.7 his mother called him into the house the morning he took Ayla to the emergency room. "When I came in, she showed me Ayla's hand and it was swollen," he said. He said the injury appeared to be a bad bruise.
Ayla had a bruise on the inside of her elbow, the medical staff noted.
Emergency Visit Timing
In his portrayal of Ayla's arm break, DiPietro said his mother, Phoebe DiPietro, looked under the baby's sleeve "during the day" and noticed the extent of the swelling. It was then, he said, he left his truck driving class early and returned home to take Ayla to the emergency room.
Emergency room records show treatment at 10:50 a.m. The official end date of the truck driving class was Oct. 27, 16 days before the ER visit.
Follow-up Medical Records
DiPietro's claim that Ayla's wrist and hand were swollen and bruised is not the only discrepancy. Ayla's follow-up record, released earlier this month, showed a distal humerus break affecting the upper arm and elbow. DiPietro told the Kennebec Journal that Ayla's forearm was broken.
Why would DiPietro claim Ayla injured her hand, wrist and forearm instead of her upper arm bone and elbow? One possibility is deflecting suspicion of child abuse.
Suspicious Injury?
According to the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences, certain injuries in children raise suspicion of child abuse. This is due primarily to the difference between the force required to inflict the injury and that involved in normal childhood injuries. A break of a long bone near a growth plate, as Ayla suffered, is one of those suspicious injuries.
According to the National Institutes of Health, the second most common injury among abused children is a fracture. Growth plate injuries are common with fractures caused by abuse because growth plates are the weakest area of the bone.
Ayla suffered repeated injuries in DiPietro's care, her mother, Trista Reynolds, noted. One reported injury was facial bruising. According to Reynolds, DiPietro's explanation for the bruising was a fight with boys in a ball pit in a restaurant that didn't have a ball pit. Illogical stories are another clue health professionals look at in assessing potential child abuse injuries, according to USUHS. What appeared to be bruising was visible on at least one photo of Ayla with her paternal family.
A third injury Ayla allegedly suffered in her father's care, a pulled leg muscle, caused a doctor to make a referral to the Department of Health and Human Services.
Reynolds texted Justin on Feb. 10 saying she received an email from one of his friends claiming the friend saw DiPietro throw Ayla. Police also found more than a cupful of Ayla's blood next to DiPietro's bed, according to Reynolds' stepfather, Jeff Hanson. Police confirmed finding Ayla's blood in the basement where DiPietro sleeps but declined to confirm the details provided by the Reynolds family.

I've looked at these charts many times over the past few months. Something in the charts just don't sit right with me and I have trouble making them work. I have come to conclusion that this is because the father is lieing and the timeline is off. So I began to experiment with the charts to see if I couldn't nail down some movements and track them to a reasonable outcome. The first chart I did seemed to tell me that the father was being truthful about some things, but not all.
In the chart for 8 pm, his reported time of having last seen his daughter, we see his marker, the Sun, in the fifth house. The Sun rules the first house from the fifth. This shows us that he is in the bedroom of his child. This what he says he was doing at that hour. So this much is true. Sun in Sagittarius is disposed of by Jupiter, which, by the way, is also the fifth house ruler. This tells us that his reason for being in the bedroom was the child. He was there for her. So this much was also true. But Jupiter, Mercury and the Moon co rule the baby so they will tell us her condition at that time. Notice that Jupiter is in the ninth house, the Moon is in the second house and Mercury is in the fourth. Mercury in the fourth supports the notion that this was the "childs' area" in the home and also that the child was in the home at the time. But Jupiter in the ninth tells me that the child is either outside the home, such as in a shed or garage area, or inside the family car (the ninth is the third from the seventh). Moon is in Virgo, conjoined Mars, in the second house. This shows the child to be "among the belongings" of the father. Mars shows forced action or aggression and the sign Virgo is disposed of by Mercury, the traditional marker for children. Mars also rules the ninth house. It does appear that he went to his daughters bedroom, just as he says, but not so much to just check on her or put her to bed. In fact, the charts show he went there to remove her from the home and take her somewhere in the family car.
And then moving the charts forward to 8:30 pm and 9 pm, the sky map doesn't change much. But what I do see is that the fifth house ruler, Jupiter, is in the sign Taurus. This means it is disposed of by Venus, which is in the sixth house. There are no death markers in this chart. There are no death markers in the charts I run from 8 pm until midnight. But the sixth house marker is a strong one for children who run away or for whatever reason are never seen again. A traditional reading for runaway children says that the marker in the sixth house means the child will never be seen again. And I concur with this reading. It seems to work in every case where I have seen it. But in this chart is also coupled with the Moon and Mars in the second house and Neptune on the eighth house cusp. This hints at financial problems that must be solved and are possibly solved by these events. In other words, he may have sold the child or he may have simply given her to someone else to releive himself of the financial burdens she presented. It's interesting that the seventh house ruler is in the eighth house in the chart for 8:30 pm. The Sun is still in the fifth, disposed of by Jupiter in the ninth and Jupiter still rules the fifth, showing us that daddy is still with his daughter and they are still in the family car. The tenth house ruler, Venus, in the sixth, may mean that someone had lost their job or had not gotten a raise or had their hours cut at work. Venus disposed of by Venus in the third, shows a third party who lives nearby or is a relative to the family. In fact the family home (Venus) is not far from the home of this third person who appears to be involved in the event. Because Saturn, in turn, is disposed of by Venus, this may well have been a relative or ex wife of the father's.
Where I say the family car there are markers in the chart that indicate this could also be a work vehicle. If not a work vehicle, it could be a vehicle that the family uses to get back and forth to work. It could be a public bus or a taxi but I am thinking that there would have been witnesses if they had taken a bus or cab. Still, Mercury ruling the second house cusp with Moon in the second describes a business transaction. Moon and Mars there give the impression that someone needed money or was in financial trouble. With no death markers in these charts, I am tempted to again think that the child was passed along to someone else, most likely for money. The presence of the seventh house ruler in the eighth seems to show us money being passed from one person to another. Or this may be a debt being forgiven, such as trading the child for a payment on something large. I can't be sure which event is being described but it certainly "feels" something like this.
The only creepy placement I see in these charts is the presence of the fourth house ruler, Pluto, in the fifth. This can often mean sexual assault. A sexual assault inside the home, in fact. And whith Pluto being disposed of by Saturn in the third, I would think it was an assault involving a relative or sibling. An older relative or sibling. But none of these indicators exist in any other pattern and there is no testimony casting aspersions on the family, so I want to leave this to the reader. I will say no more.
Going on the assumption that the child was sold, I can see patterns in the chart that cast a dark shadow. For instance, the seventh house ruler at 8:30 pm is Uranus. Uranus is in the sign Aries in the eighth house. This describes a criminal. A person who lives a criminal lifestyle and may be on the run from the law. A fugitive, perhaps. Aries in the eighth house can give a hideout or secret lair where criminals gather. Uranus there shows us someone who "lives on the edge" and doesn't play by the rules. Look at how Uranus is disposed of by Mars in Virgo, conjoined the Moon, in the second house. Does this not look like a financial transaction? Does this not look like this baby was sold to a criminal? Considering this, the markers showing sexual assault do not seem so far fetched anymore. This transaction apparently took place in the home of the criminal, which is also the place where he or she works. Most criminals conduct business in their hideout or secret lair. It looks like Ayla's father took the baby there. This place is best defined by Venus in Capricorn in the sixth house.
Venus in Capricorn in the sixth describes places near or around cemetaries, crematoriums, churchyards, tombs (current or historical) or graveyards (public or private). It can also describe a place where wood or lumber is stored or where carpentry is done. There would be dark bushes around the home, casting shadows and creating conveniant hiding places. The house would sit low to the ground and the threshold may be under dirt. In general, this placement also describes prisons, show sheds, government buildings (city hall in particular) and any area near or in a business district. These markers should be considered when trying to locate the hideout this criminal is living in. With Venus as the main marker, there may be gardens near or around the house, with blooming flowers (roses or violets in particular) and plants like peppermint or lacy ferns. There may be a stockpile of precious metals like copper, bronze or brass. This person may have a liking for cats or rabbits and these animals may live on the property.
The direction of this home can be seen using the tenth and fourth house rulers and cusps. The fourth house being Ayla's home and the tenth house being the hideout. This is defined by Mars in Virgo (Aylas home) and Venus in Capricorn (the hideout). These planets are trine to each other so the homes are closely located. Mars in Virgo shows Ayla's home to be southwest while Venus in Capricorn shows the hideout to be directly south. These directions are hard to use but what they basically must have in order to work is the center of location. You can determine this by plotting the area described by this longitude and latitude. Once you have circled the area defined by this longitude and latitude then you go to the center of that area and that is your center of location. From there, go southwest to find Ayla's home. Then from there, go south to find the hideout. Since Mars and Venus are ten degrees apart and one is in a cardinal sign and the other in a mutable sign, then we are talking miles and not feet. The fixed signs always show something very near by. The mutable signs show something at a reasonable distance while the cardinal or angular signs can mean many many miles away. At this I would guess 10-15 miles from Ayla's home. This going south. And it could be a few more miles in fact, given the motion of both planets is slow on that day (although neither is retrograde). But I would say no more than 20.
Now, in describing the man who took the baby, we look at Uranus in Aries. I have already given a brisk description of this person, who is no doubt a career criminal. Uranus is disposed of by Mars in Virgo so this person is rather quiet and reserved. Although he or she is a crook, there is no crowing or showing off going on. Aries gives some height to the body, so this person may be taller than average. It also gives thinness to the bones to this person is probably slight or even skinny. Virgo would give bad skin at times, so there may be pockmarks or acne. Aries gives length to the bones so the nose and fingers are probably long and spindly. The face may be thin with a youthful appearance. This person may look like a youth, or, at least, much younger than they actually are. Poor hygiene is likely with a sloppy appearance, disheveled and dirty most likely. This person is constantly hustling and most especially stealing (Mars in Virgo disposed of by Mercury in Sagittarius). This person is a "wheeler dealer". There is a very good possibility that this person has spent some time in jail and is known to the local police.
Emanuela Orlandi (born 14 January 1968) was a citizen of Vatican City, who mysteriously disappeared on 22 June 1983. In May 2012, Father Gabriele Amorth claimed that she was kidnapped by the Vatican police for sex parties, and later murdered. Amorth claims that the incident also involved the officials of an unnamed foreign embassy
Orlandi, then 15 years old, vanished on 22 June 1983. She was in her second year at a liceo scientifico (a scientific high school) in Rome. Although the school year had concluded, she continued to take flute lessons three times per week at the Tommaso Ludovico Da Victoria School, connected with the Pontificium Institutum Musicæ Sacræ (The Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music). She was also part of the choir of Saint Anne’s Church. Orlandi, the daughter of a Vatican bank employee who lived with her family inside Vatican city, just across the river from the Basilica, was the fourth of Ercole and Maria Orlandi's five children.
She usually travelled by bus to the music school. She would get off the bus after a few stops and then walk six or seven hundred feet (180 to 210 meters). What is known for certain is that on Wednesday, 22 June 1983, she was late to class. She later explained her lateness in a phone call to her sister, during which she said she had a job offer from a representative of Avon Cosmetics. Her sister suggested she talk it over with their parents before making any decisions. Emanuela allegedly met with the Avon rep shortly before her music lesson. At the end of the lesson, Emanuela spoke of the job offer with a girlfriend, who then left the girl at a bus stop in the company of another girl. Emanuela was allegedly last seen getting into a large, dark-colored BMW
At 15:00, Thursday, 23 June, her parents called the director of the music school to ask if any of their daughter's classmates had information. The police had suggested waiting because "perhaps the girl was with friends". That same day Emanuela was officially declared a "missing person". Over the next two days announcements of the disappearance were published with the telephone number of the Orlandi house in the newspapers Il Tempo, Paese della Sera and Il Messaggero. At 18:00 on Saturday, 25 June, a phone call was received from a youth who claimed to be a 16 year old boy named "Pierluigi". He reported that together with his fiancée, he had met the missing girl in Piazza Navona that afternoon.
The young man mentioned Emanuela’s flute, her hair, and the glasses that the girl did not like to wear, along with other details that fitted the missing girl. According to "Pierluigi", Emanuela had just had a haircut and had introduced herself as "Barbarella". He claimed she stated that she had just run away from home and was selling Avon products. On 28 June, a man calling himself "Mario" called the family and claimed to own a bar near Ponte Vittorio, between the Vatican and the Music School. The man said that a girl called "Barbara", a new customer, had confided to him about being a fugitive from home but said that she would return home for her sister's wedding. On 30 June, Rome was plastered with 3,000 posters with Emanuela Orlandi's photograph
On Sunday, 3 July, Pope John Paul II, during the Angelus, appealed to those responsible for Emanuela Orlandi’s disappearance, making the hypothesis of kidnapping official for the first time. Two days later, the Orlandi family received the first of a number of anonymous phone calls. Emanuela was supposedly the prisoner of a terrorist group demanding the release of Mehmet Ali Ağca, the Turkish man who shot the Pope in Saint Peter's Square on 13 May 1981. No other information was given. In the following days, other calls were received, including one from a man identified as "The American", due to his apparent accent, who played a recording of Emanuela's voice over the phone. A few hours later, in another phone call to the Vatican, the same man suggested an exchange between Orlandi and Alì Ağca.
The anonymous interlocutor mentioned the "Mario" and "Pierluigi" of the earlier telephone calls, defining them as members of the organization. On 6 July, a man with a young voice and an American accent informed ANSA news agency of the demand for an Orlandi-Ağca exchange, asking for the Pope’s participation within 20 days and indicating that a basket in the public square near the Parliament would contain proof that Orlandi was indeed in his hands. These were to have been photocopies of her Music School I.D., a receipt, and a note hand-written by the kidnapped girl. However, the Magistrate who was overseeing Orlandi’s case did not believe that there was a credible connection between the Orlandi abduction and the Pope's assailant. On 8 July, a man with an alleged Middle Eastern accent phoned one of Orlandi's classmates saying she was in his hands and that they had 20 days to make the exchange with Alì Ağca. The man also asked for a direct telephone line with the then Secretary of the Vatican State, Agostino Casaroli. The line was installed on 18 July. A total of 16 telephone calls were made by "The American" from different public telephone booths
Ağca, who once declared that Orlandi had been kidnapped by Bulgarian agents of the Grey Wolves of which Ağca was a member, spoke about Orlandi during a prison interview with Italy's RAI state television, telling the interviewer that the girl was alive, not in danger, and living in a cloistered convent. He denied any direct knowledge of the girl's fate, though, saying that he had made "some logical deductions". With no evidence to support these claims, the case was closed in July 1997. In mid-2000, Judge Ferdinando Imposimato, based on what he had learned about the Grey Wolves, a far-right Turkish group, declared that Orlandi, by then an adult, was living a perfectly integrated life in the Muslim community and that she had probably lived for a long time in Paris. He remains the only supporter of this idea and of the Orlandi-Ağca connection. In a letter published in 2006, Ağca claimed that Emanuela Orlandi and another girl, Mirella Gregori, both of whom vanished in 1983, were abducted as part of plan to secure his release from prison. He claimed that the girls were whisked away to a royal palace in Liechtenstein. Ağca was temporarily released from an Istanbul prison after serving 25 years in Italy and Turkey for the murder of Abdi İpekçi, a prominent Turkish journalist. However, he was quickly imprisoned again, the release seemingly a "mistake". Ağca was permanently released from a Turkish prison in January 2010
On 9 November 2010, Mehmet Ali Ağca was interviewed by the state television in Turkey-TRT's Kozmik Oda Program for the first time after his release in January 2010. In that interview as well as declaring that the Vatican organized the assassination attempt he also said that Orlandi was kept as a prisoner by the Vatican (for Ağca) and is now living in a Central European country as a nun in a Catholic Monastery. He added that Orlandi's family was seeing their daughter whenever they like but she was not allowed to leave that monastery.
On the morning of 14 May 2001, the parish priest of the Gregory VII Church near the Vatican discovered a human skull of small dimensions and lacking a jaw in a bag with an image of Padre Pio in a confessional. Ercole Orlandi, Emanuela's father, died in 2004, one month after giving his last interview. Sightings of Emanuela in various places have been reported over the years, even inside Vatican City, but all have been unreliable. The Orlandi case is still unsolved. On 14 May 2012, Italian police exhumed the body of gangster Enrico De Pedis having received a tip-off that the tomb contained clues as to the fate of Emanuela.

I had never heard of this case even though this girl went missing over 25 years ago. I read an update on it on the Huffington Post and was captivated. The details of the mystery are shocking and completely mysterious. What really grabs me are all these claims about what happened to this girl! Sex parties and terrorist organizations, blackmail and kidnapping, totally outrageous and scintillating claims. It kind of makes me think the Italians get a little nuts over sex and death and get a little carried away with lurid rumors some of the time. Most of this sounds like tall tales to me but then so did the stories about Amanda Knox. I must admit that there are still people who believe what was said about "Foxy Knoxy", as wild as all of it sounded. I guess lurid stories seem too "tabloid" to me to be real or maybe, in truth, I am just naive. Or perhaps the Italians do tend to get carried away. So you must know that I could not resist doing the charts on this case! I am just so darned curious about what really happened to this child. Was she kidnapped or did she run away? Was she a sex slave or a businesswoman? Anything seemed possible.
There is always the possibility that this girl just ran away from home and changed her identity, as compelling testimony claims. The witnesses who claimed to have seen her had information they could not have if they had not spoken to her. Such as selling Avon products, for instance and the flute she was carrying, etc.. All of this testimony conspires to make me think these people were telling the truth. This girl simply ran off, changed her identity and never resurfaced. However, with claims from inside the Vatican that the girl was kidnapped for sex parties coupled with the ongoing claims of the "Grey Wolves" that they had her, replete with recordings of her voice and claims that the credible witnesses were members of their group .. the plot just keeps getting thicker. This group, the Grey Wolves, spent weeks trying to make a deal to trade this girl, supposedly in their possession, for the release of one of their "comrades", a terrorist in the possession of the Italian authorities. Thank God not too many missing kids end up being used to such extremes. Imagine terrorists stealing our children and trying to extort our government? It's a scary thought.
So was she taken by the terrorist group and used as blackmail? Or was she sold privately for Vatican sex parties? Or did she simply run off on her own and perhaps even leave Italy? All of these stories are supported by various claims. I ended up doing charts for many different times and dates, attempting to peg the disappearance to a single event. However, there is no "time last seen" on record. She was said to have gotten off the bus sometime in the afternoon of June 22, 1983 and gotten in a dark BMW. This from another student who rode with her on the bus and knew the girl personally. So this girl seems like a credible witness to me. I ran charts for June 22, from noon until 5 pm to pinpoint a time when I could see her moving from the bus to the car. This is a standout event that can be isolated in a forensic chart. I started at noon because she had been both to a meeting about a job, also to class (although late) and had been on a bus ride. Noon is a good guess for the time frame. It might have been earlier but it seemed unlikely.
In the chart for noon, you can see the first house ruler is Mercury, which is the traditional ruler for children. This planet is in the ninth house, perhaps showing us the school. It is very probable that she was in school at noon. Mercury disposes of itself so her entire purpose at this time is to study, perhaps, and she is not meeting with anyone else in particular. Since it appears that she has just arrived at school (Mercury just entering the ninth from the tenth), I am assuming she has already had her meeting about the job. The chart co ruler, the Moon, is in the third house with the fourth house ruler, Jupiter. This is the transit system in the neighboring area. This is the bus she took back and forth. The aspect that most interests me in this chart is the seventh house ruler in the fourth. This shows someone she is about to meet and this person is nearby, in the same area. The distance between Neptune and Jupiter is about 24 degrees, which helps us tell how far this person was from the girls home at the time. And the presence of the ninth house ruler in her first house tells us she was traveling in a vehicle she did not own while the seventh house ruler is in the ninth house, putting this person in their own vehicle (ninth house is the third from the seventh). So someone came along in their own car and she went with that person in that car. This dovetails with the testimony of her friend.
The third house ruler, which marks the transit system, has just left the first house for the twelfth, showing us a distance between Emanuela and the bus, which has just left her. The fourth house ruler, Uranus, is in her first house, also telling us that where she got off that bus is not far from her own home and is definitely in her own neighborhood. She gets off the bus and gets into a car, or so it seems. Let's see if we can verify the type of car and the color. We are told it was a large sized, dark colored BMW. Venus in Leo, the seventh house ruler, is in the ninth house disposed of by the Sun in Cancer with Cancer on the ninth house cusp. The car was supposedly a dark colored BMW. Venus in Leo would describe a flashy, stylish car which does describe a BMW. It's the kind of car wealthy people drive to show off. Leo gives a red or green color; Cancer gives a green or brownish red color; Sun and Venus, blended, give an Olive color. I am pretty sure the BMW was a dark olive green color and the Sun and Venus together do not describe a tiny or small car so it can be assumed it was not a compact BMW. So the charts seem to work on these details.
Notice the cluster of planets in the eighth house in the chart for 4:30 pm. In the eighth house, there is the sixth house ruler, Mars, along with the tenth house ruler, the Sun, also the eighth house ruler, Mercury, and the Node. The Node and Mars are conjoined. Mars also rules the first house. Although the sixth house is hardly ever considered in a forensic chart, except where an angular ruler is in the sixth or the sixth house ruler is in the angles.. in this case we know that the girl had said she had a job offer. This makes the conjunction to the Node in the eighth house seem more important. Could it be that the job offer was a ruse? That there was a plan (the Node) behind it? The fact that the sixth house ruler also rules the first is interesting. It makes it seem to me that this girl was targeted; that they offered her the job for a reason. It also verifies that the job offer was on her mind and that she had a job interview that day. So this much of the story is not a lie.
There are other standout markers for me in this chart. Notice that the Mars-Node conjunction in the eighth house is directly opposite Neptune in the second house and that Neptune rules the fifth house. This seems like maybe sex was, indeed, a part of this plan. Sex for money to be exact. Neptune is disposed of by Jupiter, also in the first house, which again makes it look like this child was targeted. Jupiter rules the second house, conjoined Uranus, which rules the fourth, opposite Mercury, which rules the eighth (and, in general, all children), and all of these placements in good aspect to the seventh house ruler, Venus in Leo, I would guess that this was a neighborhood sex ring that involved some local celebrities. Normally this would seem like a strange evaluation but this was in Vatican City and there were many "celebrities" associated with the Catholic Church in that area at that time and to this day as well. So the story the Priest has given seems possible now. But I cannot say for sure, simply from this chart, that this is exactly what happened to Emanuela.
The chart for 6:30 pm shows that she was taken somewhere and hidden. This is shown by the first house ruler, Jupiter, in the twelfth house. There is no death pattern so she is still alive at this hour but the twelfth house shows us someplace dark and secret. The fourth house ruler is Neptune, so this is a hidden place, but it is placed in the first house, showing us, again, that this place is not far from where the girl had spent a lot of her time, and possibly near to where she had lived with her family. This combination with the seventh house ruler, Mercury, right at the seventh house cusp, makes me think that these people were from the same neighborhood as the girl and had targeted her after watching her for awhile. The place they took her to and hid her was not far from the family home. All of this occurred in a small area of the city. Although there is no death pattern, yet, the placements in this chart are lining up. The eighth house ruler and the fourth house ruler are both traveling through the first, moving towards the twelfth and this with the first house ruler in the twelfth. I do not believe they planned on keeping her alive for long.
In the chart for 9 pm you can see that the first house ruler, now Saturn, has moved into the ninth house with Pluto, which rules the angular tenth. The seventh house ruler, also the chart co ruler, the Moon, has moved into the eleventh house, directly opposed to Mercury in the eleventh. Mercury, remember, is the traditional marker for children. This appears to put them in a church or university. This is especially described by Pluto, which rules the tenth house and represents a place of power and authority. Emanuela was, no doubt, greatly intimidated. Both Saturn and Pluto are disposed of by Venus in the eighth, which implies, once again, a sexual connection. This one, for women (Venus) or girls. Venus, in turn, rules the fifth house, the house of romance and sexual attraction. She was taken because they were looking for girls. Combined with Mercury in the fifth opposing the Moon in the eleventh, she was most likely assaulted in this place, this church or university. Since this was in Vatican City, it probably was a Catholic church or university.
If it was the Vatican police, as the Priest now claims, they had her in "custody" (Saturn conjoined Pluto). But I do not believe that they hurt this girl, at least not at this time. You can see that Saturn, which rules the first, is trine to Mars, which co rules the tenth. Also, looking at the fourth house ruler, Venus, in the eighth house along with the Moon in the eleventh trine to Venus, I would venture to guess that this was whorehouse. Women were kept her for sex. This is exactly how this reads and now I am leaning towards favoring her abduction by the Vatican police for sex parties, as claimed by the Priest currently. Pluto in this chart can also point to terrorists, though, so that cannot be forgotten. But the position of Pluto in the ninth house with Neptune in the twelfth directly opposing Mars, it is possible that the terrorist group knew about her abduction by the Vatican police and was blackmailing them by offering to trade her for a comrade in their custody. This might make sense in this world of intrigue.
In the charts for 10 pm and 11 pm, which you can see below, there are signs of ongoing sexual activity. Angular planets traversing through the fifth, eighth and tenth houses with no signs of death patterns or violence. With the first house ruler in the ninth house until after 10 pm, I would guess she was still in this place, this church or university where she had been taken. To me, this clue fingers a church near to her home, one that perhaps she had even attended. Although I am sure there are churches in the Vatican city and that they all are Catholic, I would assume that they are all not in one cluster or only on the Vatican grounds. I am not knowledgeable of this so I am just assuming and I might be wrong. If this is the case and the area is so small that the Vatican grounds present the only churches to the area, then this is where she was taken. It's hard to imagine such a thing but this is what it would have to be if there are no neighborhood churches in that city.
In the consideration of the fixed stars on this date, I will point out a few placements that prove to be curious. The fixed star, Al Hecka, sits right between Mercury and the Node. Mercury is the traditional marker for children and Al Hecka is a descriptor for pedophilia and sexual perversion. This seems to indicate that Emanuela was taken because she was a child. I wonder if other children had disappeared in Vatican City during this period of time? Also in the chart is the conjunction of the fixed star, Hoedus, to Mercury. Hoedus is a traditional descriptor for lascivious behavior and rape. Bellatrix is also nearby and this star marks, as well, lust and rape. These markers are all the more important because these aspects occur while the planets are in the fifth house. Another marker worth pointing out is the conjunction of Neptune in Sagittarius to the fixed star, Sinistra, which describes "obsessive, wanton lust and sexual attack". This would be of importance in this chart when Neptune crossed the Ascendant between 7:30 and 8:00 pm on the day she was abducted. And then, to top this off, the Moon is sinister to a conjunction with the fixed star, Ras Algethi, which often indicates a devious plot. This again seems to indicate that Emanuela was targeted or chosen.
The next thing I could not resist was drawing up this girl's birth chart and comparing it to the event. It is a rare treat to have the birth chart of the victim and when I do have one, I like to see how it plays out against the events as they occurred. One would assume that an event of this kind of gravity would be a part of the karmic birth chart, would one not? Right away, I note that she was a Capricorn with the Moon Cancer. Solar Capricorns are hard workers who love money and security so it is likely true that she was ready to get a job, even at her young age. Moon in Cancer usually has strong ties to the mother and usually becomes a mother as well. If she lived for any time at all after her abduction, it is possible she had children. They may have been taken from her and adopted or sold but none the less, it is likely she had children. This is especially true with the Moon trine Mars in Pisces. Venus in Sagittarius square to Mars in Pisces would give an adventurous, interesting life with many travels and changes. Mars in Pisces gives someone sensitive and creative but also easy going and willing so that they "go with the flow". Very changeable this girl with a love for new experiences. Jupiter, Pluto and Uranus in Virgo gave her a degree of sensibility and carefulness. Pluto and Uranus are trine to her Sun, so she is probably rather conservative in her views and could be attached to the church. However, that would be sure to change through the chaos of her life, which promises to be substantial. In other words, it is not unreasonable for this girl to have been exposed to some upheaval and disaster in her life but I just would have thought it to be more beneficial that it appears to have been for her, with Pluto and Uranus both trine to her Sun.
When you don't have the birth time, as I don't for Emanuela, you have to work with a solar chart. I have found solar charts to be very useful in most cases, even when using the solar houses. I have found that both the solar houses and the natal houses have some degree of relevance when reading the birth charts. Sometimes when the natal chart does not seem to give answers, these can be found in the solar. But please remember that we only have half the charts we would normally consider when analysing the charts as given. In considering the solar chart, I want to point out a few things about Emanuela. Her Mars in Pisces and Mercury in Aquarius are moving through her solar first house, right behind the Sun. This would have made her very outspoken and opinionated and not afraid to get into a verbal argument. She would have been physically active but in the graceful activities, such as dancing, swimming or acting, rather than in sports like running or playing tennis. She would have been very bright and intellectual but horribly stubborn in her beliefs. Mars in Pisces opposite Jupiter would make her so sure of herself that should would not brook interference from others and went about doing as she wanted. A forceful will and a absolutely certainty that she was doing the right thing. This is most likely why she never discussed the "Avon job" with her family, which is what many kids would do first. At thirteen, this girl had taken charge of her life and she was hard to control.
In comparing Emanuela's solar chart with the event chart, I do not get a lot of hits. For instance, although her Moon in Cancer is in the tenth house of the event chart (1:30 pm, which I believe is around the time she was taken), it makes no aspect. So although she was probably highly visible at that time, there was nothing pointing to her in particular, no motivation to focus on her. Her Sun in Capricorn makes no important aspects at all, except a square from transiting Saturn, which is a fairly rare aspect but does not imply danger of any kind on it's own. At the time of the abduction, none of her birth planets are in the first house, although her Moon in Cancer is in the tenth and her Sun in Capricorn is in the fourth. This, again, works with the chart markers in saying that she was chosen because she was familiar to them from the neighborhood. They had "seen her" (tenth house) in the "local area" (fourth house). There is one thing worth pointing out and that is that her natal Neptune in Scorpio crosses paths with the transiting Moon during this event. This leads me to believe that a lot about this case is hidden, even from the charts, and will remain so. Sort of a "sealed fate" aspect that can't be challenged and, interestingly enough, works with the aspects to and from the North Node.
There are a few more things I'd like to point out in light of the variable testimonies given in this case. Pluto's positions in both the birth and event charts point to upheaval, chaos and even revolution, and this is very curious in this case where terrorists use this child as blackmail. Whether or not they actually had possession of her is questionable, at least to me, where I see so many sexual aspects in the chart. These sexual aspects work well with the claims made by the Priest. But you still cannot set aside the threats and insinuations made by the terrorists who, if they did not actually have the girl, must have known who did. Also, another point I can't resist making is the North Node in Aries. This is the mark of the rugged individualist, the person who "strikes out on their own", who "makes their own way" in life. It is a karmic point for those who have been married many times in their past lives and, in this current life, are learning to make a go of it on their own. It is very unusual for someone only 13 years of age to reach the apex of their Node experience and fulfill it this way. But it is not impossible. The stories of her running off to make her own way, changing her name and taking on a life she creates for herself far from her family is not that far afield from the karmic mission of the Aries North Node. So this leaves me with even more questions. Which of these stories are really the truth and could it be that they all are? Like I said, this is a mystery worthy of Sherlock Holmes himself.
As fate would have it, the transiting Sun at the time of this event was closing in on a conjunction to the girls' Sun. This would make her famous in Vatican City and carry her story far and wide on the whimsical fancy of the public interest. This case struck an emotional chord with many people throughout the world and the media latched on to that. She became "tabloid" fodder. In the last chart I drew for this event, shown below, I want to see what happens to her before the day ends. You can see in the chart for midnight that both the first house ruler, Neptune, and the chart co ruler, the Moon, are together in the tenth house in the sign Sagittarius. This with Sagittarius on the tenth house cusp and Jupiter in the ninth. She is still in that church. There is no death pattern or other signs of coming violence. Just this girl, all alone, in a place in this church. The tenth house ruler, Neptune, conjoined to the planet Uranus, indicates that this was unusual. It was not a usual practice to bring girls to the church and keep them there for any period of time, even if not long. Mercury rules the fourth house and this will show us the girls family home. Mercury is placed in the third, not far from the cusp of the fourth, showing us that this church is not far from the front door (nadir) of her own home; it is in her own "neighborhood" (third house).
Taking the placements apart even further, I see that Mercury rules both the seventh and the fourth house, so the person or persons who took her were from the same area, as already pointed out, and probably lived in the church, as well. Looking at this right now, I am also entertaining the possibility that she was taken by a single Priest and kept for sex in private and that no one else knew this. Perhaps it is even the Priest who is now blaming the Vatican Police for "sex parties". And perhaps, if this were the case, the terrorist group was only bluffing- although that seems unlikely to me, seeing that they knew so much they should not have, such as the Avon job thing and her flute playing. Perhaps the Priest who took her was involved with the terrorist group who was trying to kill the Pope? All I can say is that this plot is very thick and just gets thicker. So, still considering the location where she was taken, I can add this. Mercury is in Gemini in the third house so she is kept in a movable location, such as in the trunk of the car, in a trailer on the church property or in a separate part of the church. If the church were to have two separate buildings, as many of them do, she would be in a different building rather than the church, itself.
And although I realize that churches all have bibles and other writings of their religion, this one would have a library. This Priest would love to write and have the tools of that craft such as paper, pens. notebooks, binders, etc.. laying about. This Priest may have even written books or dissertations on or about the church and the Catholic religion. Among the markers on the church grounds, there may have been a beehive, a garage with two vehicles, bags of grains in storage for future use and the Priest may have had a pet parrot or a dog. The Priest might also have played tennis, badminton or golf as a leisure activity. There may have been a badminton or tennis court on the church property. Sections of the inside of the church may have been wallpapered, especially in the library or in the areas where dry goods were stored. The place where Emanuela was held or kept, whether for a long time or just for overnight, would have been separate from the church itself and in an area which had movable or transient qualities. This could mean a trailer or separate building or it could mean an area with lots of hallways and cross-sections, such as an "inner sanctum", which I think that many of the older churches did have. Venus rules the third house from the sixth house in the sign Leo. This girl was also kept as a slave of sorts, doing chores and other work as well as serving as a whore. The sign Leo intimates a performance, of sorts. She would entertain these people; that would be a part of her duty as a servant, whether she remained in this church for a long period of time or was taken elsewhere.
At first, her entire family – husband Joshua Powell and two small children ages 4 and 2 – were initially reported missing by family members.
Subsequently her husband returned on December 7 with the two children claiming to have been on a camping trip, having left his wife at the home in the early hours of December 7. Police and neighbors have since labeled her disappearance "suspicious" and are in the process of investigating.
West Valley City Police Captain Tom McLachlan said on December 10 that there is no indication of where 28-year-old Susan Cox Powell might be, and that "she has not contacted us or anyone else we know about". Powell failed to show up at her job at Wells Fargo Financial on December 7. Her purse, cell phone, and car all were left behind at her home in West Valley City, a suburb of Salt Lake City. Police have interviewed Joshua Powell and their 4-year-old son, but have not yet released any details.
The father of Susan Cox Powell has asked people to stop focusing on her husband Joshua. "I don't see him as capable of harming her," said Charles Cox, who flew in from his home in Washington State to assist in finding his daughter.
McLachlan told the media that authorities plan to re-question Joshua Powell. Police have also subpoenaed all footage and interviews, aired and unaired, of Joshua Powell from local television stations. The police currently consider Joshua Powell to be a person of interest in the investigation. Joshua Powell has retained an attorney in connection with the investigation.
On December 28, 2009, the search warrants in Susan Cox Powell's case were sealed by a judge.
Joshua Powell has moved to Puyallup, Washington, and will rent the house in Utah.
Thursday, December 3, 2009: Debbie Caldwell, Susan's friend and daycare provider, went to the Powell home for the evening. Susan had agreed to cut and dye Debbie's hair. Saturday, December 5, 2009: The Powell family attended a church Christmas breakfast from about 9 a.m. to noon. Susan then went to work and JoVonna Owings, a friend of Susan's, took care of the children while Susan worked.
Later that evening, around 7 p.m., JoVonna's son went to the Powell home to care for their two young children, Charlie, 4 at the time, and Braden, 2 at the time, while their parents attended Josh's company Christmas party. Josh and Susan returned home at about 10 p.m.
Sunday, December 6, 2009: The last day friends and family saw Susan. Timeline (times are approximate):
* 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.: Stake conference at the Hunter-36 Ward/Stake Building at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints * Noon: Susan walked home from church with her two boys * Approx. 2:15 p.m.: Susan called JoVonna asking her to come help untangle yarn; Josh was making brunch, overheard the conversation, and invited JoVonna to eat with the family * 2:30 p.m.: JoVonna arrives to the Powell home to help Susan untangle yarn * For the next hour-and-a-half to two hours, Susan and JoVonna work on untangling yard; boys play, Josh continues cooking brunch * 4 or 4:30 p.m.: Josh served a late brunch; he served everyone individually rather than buffet-style * 5 or 5:30 p.m.: Susan went to take a nap; JoVonna saw Josh take the boys out to the garage; Josh told her he was taking them sledding - NOTE: According to JoVonna, Susan was wearing a dark shirt with loose, black pants when she last saw her * Before JoVonna left, she told Josh she could bring the yarn back that evening * Josh declined her offer stating Susan wouldn't get a chance to work on it until her next days off * 8 or 8:30 p.m.: JoVonna states neighbor said they saw Josh come home * 11:45 p.m.: It was reported a car alarm went off for about 2 minutes at the Powell home; police were not called * Midnight: Josh claims Susan went to bed * 12:30 a.m.: Josh claims he took the boys on an impromptu camping trip to the West Utah Desert during a snowstorm and subfreezing weather

I apologize for not getting this chart up faster but I was having a really hard time with this case. It took me weeks of working the charts, going over and over each one time and again and then even starting over when I was finished with the first analysis. The reason became clear to me over the course of my work. I did not have a viable time line that worked with what really happened here. I had started out using the time when Josh returned home at 8:30pm. When the charts seemed to be a bit crazy right off the bat I ended up chasing some red herrings. And then I tried moving the charts up and starting at the time the car alarm was heard. That didn't work either. The charts were just producing a lot of stuff that either didn't fit the facts or just seemed to be out of place. For instance, the charts for 8:30pm looked as if Josh walked in the door in a fit of rage. It looked like he attacked his wife almost immediately. I had no way of knowing if this fit the facts but it certainly moved things forward more quickly than the timeline did. When was Susan last seen alive? And when can we say she died? Or if she died? These were questions I was getting nowhere with way too fast. I was stumped. I am still stumped about a few things here and I will present them to you and let you decide what is going on for yourself.
I went back to the drawing board four times and each time read over the accounts again. I suddenly realized that the time when Susan was last seen to be alive by a viable witness other than her husband was at 5:30 pm that afternoon when their guests left after the brunch. She was supposedly taking a nap at that time and her husband was leaving to take the children sledding. Josh was seen to leave with the kids at the same time that her friend said goodbye, leaving Susan to take a nap alone. The friend is precise about the time and all the details, including what Susan was wearing. Josh did leave the home, it seems, this is supported by eyewitnesses who saw him return with the children at 8:30 that evening. So the real time last seen was at 5:30 that afternoon. Did this change things? Did this give a different reading? I will say yes it did. In fact, starting at the earlier hour is why I was able to finally finish an analysis for this case as the charts actually started to make sense. I will show you want I discovered here and I think everyone will be surprised. I will also show you where I am stumped and let you dope it out from there.
In the chart for 5 pm we see that the seventh house ruler, Jupiter, is in the tenth house. This shows her husband (Josh) in his home. Jupiter is with Neptune, which rules the eleventh, showing there to be friends of his present. Jupiter is disposed of by Uranus in the eleventh house, as well. The eleventh house also shows siblings and children. There is no doubt that Josh is in the home with friends and family at this hour. Mercury rules the first house and is placed in the seventh, showing us Susan with her husband and, at the least, present. Mercury is conjoined Pluto in Capricorn and both planets are disposed of by Saturn in the fifth. She is a bit of a party pooper. She is concerned with the kids and is not really in the mood for levity. She may have appeared to be down or unhappy. The Moon opposes Jupiter on the midheaven / nadir axis showing me that they (Susan and her husband) were not getting along. There was a disagreement floating around. An argument in the offing, perhaps. Especially when you notice that the Moon is conjoined Mars and Mercury is with Pluto. She is definitely upset about something.
In the chart for 5:15 pm notice that the seventh house ruler, Jupiter, has left the tenth house for the ninth. This shows us Josh (the partner) going to the garage (the ninth is the third from the seventh and the seventh from the third) where his car is. This is his car as shown by the ninth house being the seventh from the third. Notice that the Moon is in the third house also with Mars, the co ruler of the fifth house. This looks a lot like Susan and the kids. And it looks like they are getting into the car. All reports given do not have Susan going along on the sledding trip and the neighbors who saw Josh return later did not report seeing her in the car. So what happened here? Did she go along and not come back? Mercury rules the first house and is the marker for the subject, along with the Moon, and it is conjoined Pluto in the seventh house. This looks like she is with her husband (partner), doesn't it? Doesn't it look like they are together. Her marker, the Moon, in the third house and his marker, Jupiter, in the ninth, showing them to be in the area of the car and the garage. They have not left yet but they are most certainly together, according to these charts. So this was a stumper for me. This did not fit reported facts.
And then I move the charts forward an hour. The reports have Josh and the kids leaving sometime between 5 and 5:30 pm so I assume they should be gone by 6:15 pm. Reports have them returning at 8:30 pm. But take a look at this chart. Cancer has taken over the first house which makes the Moon her double marker. It is in the third house! She is in that car. This does not jibe with reports but this is what the charts are saying. Also, please note, that the kids are not seen in the car with her at this time. Also, the seventh house ruler, Saturn, is in the fourth house in the sign Libra. Is her husband in the house while she is in the car? Because I have not seen him in that car yet I do not think they have left that house. No one has reported actually seeing them leave. They report seeing him return much later but no one actually saw anyone leave. This creates a huge dark hole in the facts that I just can't reconcile with these charts. But this is what the chart says. She is in the car, he is in the house and they have not left yet. Now, she could possibly be doing something with the car like cleaning or straightening it out, or getting it ready for the kids (adjusting car seats or the like). He could be in the house preparing for the trip. But they have not left yet and she is not napping so this is where we are at 6:15.
Josh (her partner) does not get into that car until 8 pm. You can see that in the chart for that hour the seventh house ruler, Saturn, has finally entered the third house. Saturn is disposed of by Venus in the fifth so he is doing this for the kids. The kids are going. But notice that the first house ruler, the Moon, which is Susan's marker, is in the second house with Mars. Mars rules the tenth house cusp and the fifth house cusp. So she is occupied with the belongings of her children, probably in the home (tenth house). These are her belongings, too, (second house) but she is upset about something involving these belongings (Mars). This appears to be a big problem for her at this time (both planets rule angular houses) but does not seem to involve her husband, who appears to have finally left to go sledding (fifth house). Notice that her marker, the Moon, and Mars are both disposed of by the Sun, which is in the fifth house near Venus. I think there might have been something the kids needed to bring that could not be found or was broken or something. But it did cause them to leave later than they had planned.
Notice that in the chart for 8 pm, the seventh house ruler is in the third house, showing the subject in a car. Then at 8:30 pm, the seventh house ruler becomes Uranus and it is in the ninth, showing us the subject in the garage again. This tells us the whereabouts and activities of the partner, or husband. But if you look at the chart for 7:30 pm and 8:00 pm you will see that the tenth house angle has been taken over by Aries. Mars now rules an angle from the first house where it conjoins the Moon. The Moon is Susan's double marker. This very much looks as if her husband were leaving the home in his car at this time but someone else was entering the scene simultaneously. Since Mars rules the tenth this is a paternal figure, a male figure, that I, at first, thought must be her husband. At that point in my analysis, I could not make these findings work together. Credible witnesses saw him return at 8:30 pm so he could not have been in the house at 8 pm. The charts clearly show him leaving at 8 pm, in fact. So who is this person if not the father of the children? I am thinking this is a father in law. I am thinking this is either her father or her husband's father. This is who came to the home right when Josh was leaving. And I am pretty sure her husband knew that this person was coming because the node is at the seventh cusp. This may well have been planned in advance.
Because I am thinking that chaos has just arrived I am going to be very careful with my analysis from this point forward. Where I find myself stumped or unsure I will tell you and let you figure it out for yourself. But this whole scenario looks really hinky from this time forward. In the chart for 8:10 pm you can see that Mars is with the Moon in the second and both planets are disposed of by the Sun in the fifth house. This does look like the father or father in law has come around to see the kids. But when you look at the chart you see that the fifth house ruler, Pluto, is with Mercury, the traditional marker for kids in the sixth house and that both planets are disposed of by Saturn, the seventh house ruler, in the third. They are not there; they are with their father in the car. But there is one more marker here that I think cannot be overlooked. The Sun is with Venus, the fourth house ruler, and they are both in Sagittarius, disposed of by Jupiter in the eighth house. Jupiter is closely aligned with Neptune. There is a hidden agenda here and it looks like a romantic or sexual one. This does not look like an innocent attempt to visit with the kids, does it? I am thinking an excuse was made, to visit the kids perhaps, when the real intent was a romantic interest in Susan. I realize that since the first reports for this case were made a lot of other information has come to light. One of the recent accusations to appear has been towards Josh's father, who was said to have had designs on Susan. They are even now saying that he has been accused of sexual harassment in the matter. This chart does give some credence to the idea that he might have had a thing for Susan Powell.
I believe the chart for 8:20 pm shows an attack on Susan. Mars moves into the first house which is a traditional marker for a physical attack on the body of the subject. Mars is disposed of by the Sun, as already noted, in the fifth house. The Sun is with Venus and both are disposed of by Jupiter in the eighth, a marker for sex or sexual contact. Jupiter is near Neptune, showing a hidden or secret agenda. The Moon is dexter from a trine aspect with the Sun, showing that Susan has been nice to this man and has been tolerant. The sign Leo hints at flattery and a liking for attention; she may have tolerated his interest in her because she was flattered by it. Both rulers, his and hers, are disposed of by the Sun, showing the nature of their relationship. The Sun is in the fifth house, which can describe a romance but remember it can also describe children. I am not sure which effect had meaning for Susan; perhaps they both did?
Mars, his ruler, is in 18 degrees of Leo and is only several degrees away from an exact opposition to Jupiter. Mars opposing Jupiter is a traditional marker for excess; a tendency to overdo it is a common interpretation. The Sun is in trine aspect to both Mars and the Moon so is this relationship consensual? Did Susan go along with it? Or does this just mean that their meeting on this day proved to be pleasant? It's hard to say. But the charts for 8:30 PM clearly show her husband coming back home. Saturn in the third moves from the rulership of the seventh with Uranus taking over the seventh cusp from the ninth. He comes back in the car and ends up parked in the garage. The charts are very clear on this one point so there is no doubt about the report from the neighbor. The charts bear this out clearly and this salient point is one indicator that these charts are viable; they are reflecting the facts.
At the 8:30 hour, both Mars and the Moon are in the first house. This aspect, disposed of by the Sun, which is now the first house ruler, and disposed of by Jupiter now in the seventh house, looks like a sexual assault. The seventh house ruler, Uranus, is now disposed of by Neptune in the eighth, which tells me that her husband would keep this quiet; he would keep the family secret. He knew about the sexual assault on this day and knew about any other activity that had happened in the past and he was in collusion with keeping the secret. Neptune in the eighth indicates that he may have had sexual indiscretions he was hiding, as well. Neptune and Uranus are in mutual reception which underscores this fact; Neptune rules the ninth, which is the usual marker for blood relations of the partner (being the third from the seventh) so this was his father and that alone would be good reason to keep quiet.
In the chart for 8:30 pm, we clearly see her husband coming home. The fifth house ruler, Jupiter, is in the seventh, showing the kids to be with their father (Susan's partner). As well, Jupiter is disposed of by Uranus so the kids are doing what daddy tells them. Mercury, the traditional marker for children, is in the sixth house, disposed of by Saturn in the third. I think he is having them stay in the car. Saturn indicates confinement so they may be strapped into car seats or the doors to the car may just be locked. But they are confined in the car, according to these charts. The sixth house is often a marker for confinement and so is Saturn. So let's just say that this is something he might have done. But it doesn't last long because the chart for 9 pm shows Mercury entering the fifth house with Jupiter, the fifth house ruler, conjoined Neptune in the seventh house. The children are taken to their bedroom and the entire event is kept secret (Neptune). Notice how the Moon and Mars are disposed of by the Sun which is in the fifth house conjoined Venus while Mercury and Pluto enter the fifth house also. You would think the kids would be right there with Susan and the father in law. But you must also take note of the fact that Mercury and Pluto are in Capricorn while Venus and the Sun are in Sagittarius. While both the kids and their mother are in bedrooms (fifth house) they are different bedrooms, described by different signs. From this you can ascertain that the kids are in their own room (Capricorn disposed of by Saturn in the third) and Susan and her father in law are in her bedroom, the one she shares with her husband (Venus and the Sun are disposed of by Jupiter in the seventh).
In the chart for 9 pm the one outstanding aspect becomes Uranus, the seventh house ruler, moving into the eighth house. This is a really harsh reflection on her husband's character, making him look rather depraved. This placement in most charts describes a criminal nature, one without morals who lives outside the law. We know this is not the case in general for this man but I would say it does show that, during the event in question, this man's morals left quite a bit to be desired. Again, this placement combined with the secretive placements mentioned earlier, show something hinky going on with this man and his wife. There is some degree of sexual misconduct but I am not sure what kind. I will leave this to my readers to figure out from their own analysis.
What I am most concerned about is what happened to Susan, if she is dead or alive and where she is now or where we can find her body. In the chart for 10 pm I can see the death pattern forming and I am pretty sure at this point that she is dead. Looking at the chart for 10:30 pm, I see that her marker, the Moon, has moved into the twelfth house along with Mars, which now co rules the fourth. The first house ruler is the Sun and it has moved into the fourth with the tenth house ruler, Venus. The seventh house ruler is in the eighth disposed of by Neptune in the sixth. She is going to die very soon here and her husband and her father in law are there. In fact, the tenth house ruler, Venus is right with the Sun as it moves through the fourth house. Mars and the Moon moving into the twelfth describe violent death. Moon in Leo in the twelfth points to heart failure or heart attack or a breaking of bones in the back. With Mars, there is some sort of assault involved. But there are other markers that point at drugging or poisoning. The eight house ruler is Neptune, which describes drugs, and it is in the sixth house of sickness. The sixth house shows confinement, too. Sun in Sagittarius in the fourth house shows a possible shooting with a gun. Sagittarius often describes ammunition and weapons, especially bullets but also knives. Pluto in the fifth always describes rape for me. The twelfth house ruler, the Moon, at the first house cusp, can show suffocation, drowning, smothering.
Please also note the fixed stars in this chart. Venus, which rules the tenth house and marks the father in law, is conjoined to Kelb Alrai, which indicates poisoning. The Sun, which rules the first house in the death chart, is conjoined Dschubba, a fixed star that describes murder. The Sun is also conjoined Sabik, a marker for perversity. And the Sun is also close to Ras Algethi, which means a devious plot was involved. The Sun is highly afflicted by evil fixed stars and the Sun is Susan's marker in the death chart. You have to also consider that there are other aspects to the Sun, as well, such as an opposition from Hoedus, a fixed star in Gemini that often describes lust, rape and lascivious behavior. I think lust describes very clearly what they have since revealed about her father in law. Bellatrix, another fixed star in Gemini that describes obsessive lust and rape, is also opposed to Susan's marker. As well, there is a cluster of evil fixed stars gathered in the first house not far from the Moon-Mars conjunction. The closest one in sinister aspect to the Moon is Alfard, a fixed star meaning death by asphyxiation or strangulation. Alfard can also mean death by drowning. Another serious marker is the square from Caput Algol in the tenth house to the Moon in the first. I have found Caput Algol to the be the most serious and most common marker in cases of violent murder and especially in cases that become famous. It was prominent in the Gainseville murders, in Ted Bundy's murders and in many others that became notorious. This case has received a lot of attention, as well, probably because Algol is in the tenth house. The Moon is sinister to the square in this chart so the influence is gaining in strength. All of these evil fixed stars seem to be conspiring against our subject and I have no doubt, after seeing these charts, that Susan is dead and that she died on December 6, 2009.
There is an awful lot of back and forth in all the charts for this case. During the next few hours I see Josh in the garage, working on something electronic. I see his father with his wife. I see her body in the house, apparently dead. But I cannot get a bead on the rest of this story as it relates to what has been reported. This leads me to beleive that almost every part of the story is a lie, with the exception of sighting of Susan or Josh by neighbors or friends. The story that he took the kids camping at midnight is just not supported by the charts. The story that she went to bed alone at midnight is also not supported. In fact, everything looks different in these charts than I expected based on what was reported. The timeline past the visit from friends on the afternoon of the sixth is cloudy and unrealiable. The last known sighting of Susan being alive by anyone other than her husband was at 5 pm that afternoon when her friends left the brunch. No one ever reported seeing the father in law on the property or coming and going from the property but then again no one but Josh has ever claimed to see them leaving for the camping trip. Did they actually go camping? And, if not, what on earth did go on that night? All of this seem murky and deliberately misleading. The first chart I could pin down showing anyone leaving that house was for 2 am in the morning of the 7th. And in this chart it is not Josh leaving but his father and he has got Susan in the car.
I know that in every case of a missing person the first and foremost most urgent matter is finding that person. This goes for recent cases where they hope to recover the subject alive and for stone cold cases where they wish they could find the body. I have been working hard at developing a system that helps with body location. There haven't been any until now and my system, although the only one out there, is still far from reliable. I am still putting things to the test to see if they work (throw it at the wall and see if it sticks) and haven't been able to prove anything yet. I am going to go out sometime this winter and try to locate a missing person in my own area myself and record it on video. I am hoping to work my system until it works! Anyways, in this case I am trying to figure out where Susan might be, dead or alive, today. And here at 2 am, I see her father in law taking her body off in a car.
The tenth house ruler, the Moon, marks her father in law in this chart. Her marker is the first house ruler, Venus, and it is in the third, showing her body to be in the car. Notice that the Moon is conjoined with Mars, the seventh house ruler, showing father and son together. The twelfth house ruler, Mercury, is in the third house (the car) and is the natural ruler of cars and other vehicles. There is no doubt in my mind when looking at this chart that it is saying that her body is in that car. Saturn just behind the Ascendant verifies that she is dead. Saturn is disposed of by Venus in the third, again showing us that the placement of her body is in a car. Notice how Mars and the Moon (the men) are both disposed of by the Sun in the third, which is close to Venus. This seems to be saying that they are taking her body to the woods. In fact, I would like to take another shot at figuring out exactly where that was.
The house at the point of leaving marks the northern most point from which to search. So placing the home at due north and working around it you can determine where they went. They left the house moving due south at first and then south by southeast. There is a distance of 4 degrees between the body (Saturn) and the new location (the fourth house cusp) and these placements are in cardinal signs (Capricorn and Libra) so the distance travelled is only about 4 miles away. They drove very fast, as fast as legally allowable in that area or maybe even faster if they weren't afraid of being pulled over with a body in the car. But they drove quickly (cardinal signs) only for about 4 miles (4 degrees) south by southeast. They probably turned south of their neighborhood and then at the next cross point they turned south by southeast. Again, remember, this is only a 4 mile drive.
In this chart, Mercury marks the spot. Mercury rules the twelfth house and is placed in the third in Capricorn. It is disposed of by Saturn in Libra in the twelfth. Mercury always describes small places or spaces. Capricorn describes rocky, dry ground with sparse vegetation. Pluto conjoined Mercury would describe small rocks that have been broken up by harsh weather or other activities. There may be a nuclear testing range in the area. Pluto and Mercury disposed of by Saturn indicates also that the body was altered in some manner to make it fit into something small. Mercury conjoined Pluto in Capricorn seems to indicate broken bones. Saturn in Libra in the twelfth indicates an area with very old, very tall trees. Saturn describes her actual body and since it is disposed of by Venus in Sagittarius it is my guess it was left in an outdoor area where people hunt. Bow and arrow hunting comes to mind because of Sagittarius (the archer) and Libra (things that fly through the air). Capricorn on the nadir with Mercury in Capricorn indicates there are small, hooved animals like goats, deer, muledeer, moose, sheep, elk, etc... in this area. There is no water in this area.
If there are mountains in this area the the search should start on the mountainsides. She could easily have been left up high. If there are large, tall trees in the area these should be searched as well because she might have been tossed up in the tree. She is inside something small and confining (Saturn in Libra) and I am thinking luggage or other travel baggage (Sagittarius). They may have tossed the luggage up into a very large, tall tree. She could be "hanging" from or "balancing" on a limb. You might be able to combine all the influences by searching tall trees on mountainsides. I do not get the idea from these charts that she is buried or on the ground. And there is no water in this area at all. There may be the following markers: army barracks, ammunitions storage, horse paddocks or stables, horse farms, horseback riding, horse slaughterhouses, tennis courts, archery ranges and/ or high, sloping ground that is hard to navigate. Activities going on in this are can include bow and arrow hunting, horseback riding, camping, any kind of hunting, competitive sports like soccer or basketball, mining for metals, greyhound breeding or racing, beekeeping. There may also be foxes and wild dogs. While looking on mountainsides or among tall trees, you should also look for outhouses, sawmills, lumbermills, old graveyards or cemetaries, old prisons the size of jailhouses that may no longer be used, patches of wild carrots or parsley, snowsheds or crematoriums. Any of these markers may be present in the area; always look for areas with groupings of several markers. Her body is going to be in a bushy, dark area that is hard to see into, but not buried. She will be found deep in the shadows most likely on a mountainside in a rocky area. Mine blasting or nuclear testing has gone on in the area.
One more thing I want to add to this analysis is the probability that they burned her body at some point. All of the markers are in fire signs, Leo and Sagittarius, and both are descriptors for chimneys, grills, firepits and other such places for burning things. I am pretty sure they burned her body at some point in this event. At first, I thought they burned her body in a fireplace in the home. But I realize now that this probably not possible. None the less, I still believe these charts are describing a burning and a dumping of the body somewhere in the open. This is without burial and the body is not in the water. I hope they find her soon.
