Police are seeking the public’s help in finding a 20-year-old Glendale woman who has been reported missing since Monday.
Elaine Park was last seen the morning of Jan. 28, and her family subsequently reported her missing. Her car was found sometime on Feb. 2 parked along Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, according to Glendale Police Sgt. Robert William.
“Elaine’s personal property was found in the vehicle along with the keys,” he said.
Glendale Police Department spokeswoman Tahnee Lightfoot said police then conducted a search of the coastline and of the car. Authorities were unable to locate Park, and no evidence of foul play was found in her vehicle, she said.
“We are focusing our efforts, at the moment, with speaking to all of Elaine’s friends,” Lightfoot said.
Park’s brother told KTLA she was at her ex-boyfriend’s home before she went missing. However, Lightfoot said no one is currently a suspect in Park’s disappearance.
Park is described as 5 feet 6, approximately 125 pounds, with long brown hair with blond tips. She also has a tattoo of a cow’s skull on the upper part of her left arm with another tattoo of an unknown design on the lower half of the same arm.
In Southern California, authorities are asking for the public's help in searching for a 20-year-old Glendale woman who has been missing for over a week, with her car found abandoned in Malibu.
Elaine Park was last seen in the early morning hours of January 28 after a date with her boyfriend. She had been considered to be voluntarily missing until deputies found her car on February 2, parked along Pacific Coast Highway with the her key, cellphone and other personal belongings inside.
Police have been actively searching the coastline in and around the area where Park's car was found. There is no evidence of foul play, and no one is currently a suspect in Park's disappearance.
According to Glendale Police, her status is now "critical missing."
Park is described as Korean American, 5-foot-6, 125 pounds with a thin build, long brown hair with blond tips and brown eyes. She is known to where heavy mascara and make up and has a tattoo of a cow skull on her upper left arm with another tattoo of an unknown design on the lower half of the same arm.
Glendale police suspended their search efforts for Park on Feb. 3 but said they were continuing the investigation and turning to her family and friends for help. Park was reported missing on Jan. 30 by family members and her vehicle was found in Malibu on Feb. 2, parked along Pacific Coast Highway with her keys, cellphone and other personal property inside.
Last week, William said, a Los Angeles County search and rescue team searched for Park in the Malibu area but could not find her.
What bothers Susan Park is the roughly hour of video footage on Jan. 28 from 6:05 a.m. to 7:14 a.m. — when Elaine Park’s vehicle is leaving her boyfriend’s home in the 2600 block of Delphine Lane Calabasas but before she is seen leaving through a community gate. That time period is unaccounted for, Susan Park said.
She said she received two DVD’s with private footage and community footage that omits the hour.
“It was almost pitch dark,” Susan Park said, when her daughter’s car leaves the community gate at 7:14 a.m. — roughly 69 minutes after she drove away from her boyfriend’s house. “You can’t really see if it’s her as the vehicle is driving out. You clearly see a license plate number.”

I was sent this case by a reader and it caught my eye because I have had several similar ones in the recent past. The consistent feature in all of them is the discovery of the victims car with all their belongings still in it. Although these cases may have been carjackings the presence of belongings with the car in undamaged condition is not ordinary for these types of crimes. Most carjackings are about money. These crimes don't look like ordinary robberies. There are also similar features in the charts. I will show you what they are.
This chart is drawn for a few minutes after she leaves her boyfriends home and you can see that she is stopped and confronted right away. The seventh house ruler, the Moon, is right there in the first, showing a confrontation. The Moon is disposed of by Uranus in the third house, showing a vehicle as being the "intention". I don't consider the Sun in this chart even though it rises in the first. It does not rule a house or have power other than it's presence in the angular first.
I do not like the placement of the tenth house ruler with the eighth house ruler in the twelfth. It sort of hints at hidden motives. Although it looks like, from this end, that the intention was a car jacking, these other placements seem to indicate there is more to it.
This next chart features the Sun as it moves onto the seventh house cusp. This makes the Moon the secondary chart ruler and with these two in the first house, you see the actual meeting between Elaine and her kidnapper. As before, these planets are disposed of by Uranus, now in the second house and showing us the emphasis on money in this matter. The car + money? Again, the tenth house ruler is in the twelfth and now the secondary ruler, Mars, is in the second, bringing the money theme together. Is this a business? A carjacking business? Or is there something more?
Just like the last case I did, Marcela Garcia, this happened out in the open in daylight hours, the car was dumped with her money and belongings still in it and the woman is missing. In the Garcia case, I was seeing abduction and possible trafficking. But here, in these charts I see the Moon in the first, which indicates, in general, that Elaine either knew this person or went along willingly for some reason. The presence of money markers makes me wonder if she owed somebody money or if a promise of money was involved in this.
The first house ruler is now in the second house, which I often have seen as the trunk of the car. It is probable that they forced her into the trunk and drove out of the complex in her car. Node in the seventh also tells me that this was planned in advance. But I am not sure that Elaine did not know about this plan already. I just can't say for sure.
And this chart appears to tell the same story. With Moon in the first, it looks like she is in control of the situation and with the seventh house ruler, the Sun, in the twelfth, the other person appears to be behind her in some manner, perhaps to remain unseen. Even though the first house ruler remains in the second house I am now thinking that this is not the trunk of the car after all but a money marker. The first house ruler, Uranus, with the dispositor, Mars, also in Aries, together in the second house seem to indicate a forced or pressured "highjacking" of sorts in order to get money. Now, how this plays out I am not sure. But did Elaine owe money for drugs? Was she a sex worker? A performer of any sort? It just seems like she knew about this situation in advance, such as knowing she owed the money, perhaps, or was interested in the money being offered, etc.. I just can't pin it down.
And the chart for an hour later continues the same theme. The first house ruler is now Neptune and it is placed in the first, telling me again that Elaine is in control somehow. Mercury, the seventh house ruler, is in the eleventh house with Pluto, both in Capricorn, disposed of by Saturn in the tenth with Saturn disposed of by Jupiter in the eighth. She is going somewhere willingly but she will be killed when she gets there. These are people she knows, that she considers "friends" (the eleventh house) but the Saturn connection and the eighth house disposition tells me they had plans for her. The node opposes Neptune so she did not know about their plans and would not have gone along if she had. But Neptune indicates she was hiding something, keeping it from others. This may have been connected to a hidden life, a dark side of Elaine. The Moon in the twelfth supports this theory and if you notice, it is still disposed of by Uranus, still in the second house. Elaine was earning money in some dark manner that she kept to herself. A double life perhaps?
In this chart I immediately notice the change in the Ascendants and arrival of Uranus in the first, indicators that something in the situation has changed. The first house ruler is tucked into the twelfth with the seventh house ruler with Neptune nearby, disposing of the seventh house ruler. She is being taken somewhere to be hidden, or a place where they won't be found. I am not sure, at this point, if they intend to hide her for a longer term. Notice also Mercury and Pluto together in the tenth house. The tenth marks the home of the abductor or, at least, their current location. Mercury and Pluto indicate an altercation, most likely a verbal dressing down, that occurs once they arrive at this new location. Overall, things do not look good for Elaine at this point and the charts as I have seen them do not get better.
In this chart, the first and seventh house rulers are in the eleventh, a standard marker for "alternative" sex or sex between people who are not partners. This does not describe rape, per se, at least not these aspects at this time. The fourth house ruler with the chart co ruler in the tenth house supports the theory that they are in this house. Uranus rules the tenth from the twelfth house in the sign Aries, an indicator that this is a "hideout" or a place where outlaws on the run hide from the law. This interpretation goes back to the old days when they were called outlaws. LOL. Today, they are criminals.
Although there were money markers in the abduction chart they are not ongoing so this may not have had anything to do with money. They do not appear to be using her for cash. She has a connection with this person, this has been shown in most of the charts including the abduction chart, but I am not sure what at this point. There are altercations, mostly verbal, and she has appeared to go along willingly up to this point. So is this a boyfriend? And ex boyfriend? A secret lover? Whatever, there are sexual contacts also in this chart and they do not appear to be brutal so it is not rape. So what is it?
I have one more question for those who knew her. Did she have a stalker? Someone harassing her? Whatever the relationship was it was not good and this chart shows her death, which is very sad. Apparently the sex did get brutal and she died during the act. You can see the seventh house ruler in the fifth, a marker for sexual activity with romantic overtones and with the first house ruler together with Pluto in the eighth this shows how brutal it became. Perhaps she rejected him or didn't do for his offers... something that sparked his anger? But during this sexual encounter, forced or not, he escalates and kills her.
Pluto in Capricorn is not as puglistic as Pluto in Taurus might be but it does indicate a beating rather than a shooting or a stabbing, for instance, and most likely with a wooden object of some sort. Most likely triggered by something said (Mercury). Saturn ruling the seventh house in the sign Sagittarius describes a rugged individual much older than our victim, perhaps a LOT older. The age difference may be the cause of her rejection although I think it would be because she had a boyfriend already. Frustration over the age difference and disparity in lifestyles (he is more of an outdoorsy, woodsy type who probably hunts and spends a lot time on the road) would be a good reason to reject an offer for a relationship. Besides the fact that he is likely a criminal (Uranus) and has spent time in confinement (Saturn).
Here you see Saturn, which marks the body after death, in Sagittarius, disposed of by Jupiter in Libra in the fourth house. This shows she was left somewhere close to home. Then you see the Moon and Sun in the eighth, disposed of by Uranus in Aries in the tenth, showing again she was killed in this "hideout" and disposed of nearby. This place is in the woods, near a park of some sort. Aries shows bbq pits and other fire pits while Mars shows hunters and fishermen, people who use weapons and sharp objects like hooks. Jupiter disposed of by Venus in Pisces with Neptune nearby in the ninth she was disposed of by water. The air signs mixed with water indicate a waterfall. Any park near her home that also has a waterfall would be where to search for her. The maps I looked at indicated there are several parks and 3 waterfalls. I apologize for this but I just can't get any more precise.
Search underway for missing Orange County mother, Tia Bonta, 24
Orange County investigators are looking for a missing 24-year-old mother who hasn’t been seen since July 31.
Tia Bonta was last seen in the area of Dean Road and University Boulevard in Orange County.
WESH 2 News spoke to her father, Kevin Bonta, on Monday.
"We are looking. And I'm not going to stop,” Bonta said.
Bonta said his daughter was in good spirits the last time he spoke to her. He said she called him, asking for him to bring her a phone charger. But when he arrived at the hotel she was staying in, she was gone.
Now the Orange County Sheriff's Office has opened up a missing persons case.
Tia Bonta has been missing since August 5 from Florida. She was last seen on July 31 by a friend you picker her up at the Days Inn on East Colonial Drive. The friend identified as "J.D." later dropped her off at the 2800 block of Cleburne Road in Orlando. Authorities are searching an area near Cleburne Road for Tia.

This case has so much conflicting information given with no qualifications that I almost had to skip it. One report saying she was last seen on the 31st and others saying the 5th of August. I had to run charts and make assumptions to even start. Since the report that she was picked up on the 31st is the most often repeated and substantiated, I started with that time and date. And lo and behold the whole picture became clear and then I understood why the waters were clouded with a false report about the 5th of August.
Here you can see exactly what the reports indicate, that she was picked up by someone else and driven to another location. You can see the first house ruler Jupiter together with the seventh house ruler, Mercury, in the ninth house (the third from the seventh). This shows them to be together in the other person's car. The Moon is in the seventh, echoing the fact that she is with someone else. The seventh house ruler, Mercury, is in Virgo which is in dignity or exaltation and the first house ruler, Jupiter in Virgo, is in fall. This shows the other person to be the stronger of the two and to have an advantage. The presence of the node right between both rulers show that this rendezvous had been planned in advance. This was not a spur of the moment event nor was it an abduction.
There is a standout aspect in this chart, sort of an omen of what's to come, the opposition from the Moon in Cancer in the seventh and Pluto in Capricorn in the first. This is a guaranteed "butting of the heads" with an emotional disagreement that escalates to violence. Pluto is disposed of by Saturn in the twelfth so the violence indicated by Pluto could end up with a dead body (Saturn and Mars in the twelfth). To complicate matters, Mars rules the fourth house and is disposed of by Pluto. There is a chance this argument is about family (Moon in Cancer).
Here you see Tia moving around. The first house ruler is now Uranus and it is placed in the third so she has had a change of heart and is moving along, possibly walking away (third house). I do not believe she had a car of her own so this movement was likely on foot. The seventh house ruler, the Sun, is right at the descendant and in exaltation (Leo), showing the other person to be in control of the situation regardless of her change of heart. I believe her walking away was only a gesture, a ploy, because Uranus is disposed of by Mars, now in the tenth house (the fourth from the seventh), which is his residence. So she either leaves their current location to go to his house nearby or they are at his house and she goes for a walk only to return. Either way, she comes back to his residence.
Neptune rising in the first shows there has been a deception. Neptune is in dignity so it worked and someone is none the wiser. It does not look good for TIa in this chart because Saturn in the tenth is disposed of by Jupiter in the eighth. Someone might die. The first house ruler, Uranus, is disposed of by Mars in the tenth, so it is probably Tia who gets assaulted.
And here is where it all comes together. This is how I know the reports for 6 days later are bogus. Tia did not live past the first night and she died in the company of the man who picked her up on the 31st, no matter what he now claims. In the chart here you see the first house ruler in the eighth with the Moon in the fourth, both markers for death and part of what I call the "death pattern".
The seventh house ruler, Venus, is in the Leo in the fifth and it is square to the first house ruler, Mars. So here you see the butting of heads I mentioned earlier but when you also include the T square involving Pluto in the tenth opposite the Moon in the fourth square to the Uranus in Aries placement I mentioned earlier you can see that she changed her mind and attitude about something and this caused the eruption. An argument over family in some regard led to an all out fight. Mars in the eighth disposed of by Pluto in the tenth she was beaten to death in that home. His home. And she passed away. The placement of Venus, the seventh house ruler, in the fifth house shows their romantic relationship but also emphasizes his self indulgence with drugs and/or alcohol. I think this chart shows someone drugged up and out of control angry that beat Tia to death.
This was an emotionally charged fight that just went too far.
Where is Tia now? What did he do with her body. Well, we always look to Saturn to locate the body and this is in the ninth house in Sagittarius. This placement points to the woods or a wooded area near a major highway. He would have taken her body out there in his car. Pluto is in Capricorn in the tenth, showing her resting place and this would be an early grave. Saturn is disposed of by Jupiter in Virgo so it is a deep, well buried grave in a large area. Virgo indicates medicinal weeds and tiny flowers, most likely white. Jupiter close to the node indicates a familiar place, somewhere he has been before and possibly the first place he thought of when choosing the dumping ground. Pluto trine the node shows that he favored this spot because of soft sand and a large expanse. Perhaps it is a coastal area near the beach?
He is described by Venus in Leo in the fifth. He was a lover of hers and there ws a romantic relationship. He was jealous and possessive and qutie egocentric. He is vain and self absorbed, concentrating on his own pleasures and importance, expecting admiration, most especially from his lovers. He is probably fairly good looking and takes care of himself in grooming matters, maybe even athletic and given to sports. He is competitive. He may have dark hair and eyes with fair skin (for his race, whatever that is) and have a well formed, muscular body. He likes to buy himself "treats" and is quick to spend money, both his own and that he gets from others. He wants to share with his lovers everything, most especially money and material things. He is not usually violent although he probably likes drink and drugs.
23-year-old Amber Berbiglia had just finished her college exams and was planning on getting married, when her life was taken from her in May 2013.
Amber’s body was found lying underneath the Robert Edge Parkway bridge in South Carolina a little after 4 PM on May 3, 2013. Her car was found nearby, still running, with her cell phone inside. The cause of death was ruled blunt force trauma to the head.
Eight months later, police are still searching for answers.
Amber’s last known whereabouts were at a Time Warner office on Main Street at around 1 PM on May 3. She was there to pay her cable bill. Before that, she had stopped at a gas station to fill up her gas tank.
WMBF News has uncovered surveillance video of Amber at that gas station from just hours before her death.
Amber was engaged to a man named Jose Tolsa Soler, who she had met while she was studying abroad in London in 2012. Jose was still in London working at a hotel when Amber was killed.
Could Amber’s case be related at all to the disappearances of Brittanee Drexel or Heather Elvis? Both girls have been missing from the same area as Amber was found. Could there be a connection between them? Or did Amber have an enemy who would have wanted her dead?
NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Eight weeks after 23-year-old Amber Berbiglia was found murdered, no arrests have been made. But police still consider this an active investigation.
Amber Berbiglia was last seen alive on May 3. Around 1:30 that afternoon, her friends say she was seen near the Time Warner Cable store on Main Street.
Hours later, her body was found less than two miles away under the Robert Edge Pkwy overpass.
Police rushed to the scene after getting 911 calls from a passerby and worked quickly to preserve what soon became the scene of a murder.
"When we arrived, we set a perimeter, so nothing is moved before Crime Scene has photos or video," explained Detective Jonathon Martin, the lead detective on this case.
As police worked to gather evidence, detectives arrived to inspect the area around Amber's body.
But what exactly were they looking for?
"Evidence. We were looking for evidence on how someone left the scene. It's pretty muddy around here, all the time. So, we looked for foot traffic," said Detective Martin.
While documenting the entire scene, they also looked for any trail leading to Amber's killer. Things like footprints in the mud, or if any objects were dropped as the suspect was fleeing the scene.
"People think DNA is everywhere, but sometimes it is not. In this case, we looked for it. We took DNA samples from around the area, from around the victim. We also looked around her car, and inside of it," shared Detective Martin.
But solving a crime isn't as easy as it looks on TV shows. It takes a lot more work, and a lot more time.

One of my readers sent me this case and I want to thank all of you who take the time to advocate for these victims. My blog has yet to make a big difference in solving cases but it has the positive effect of opening minds and motivating people to continue this work. There is hope here. I must say that most of these cases make me really sad. I can't do one a day or even more than one a week because they are so dark and heartbreaking. This case is a stand out, in my opinion, because she died so brutally in such a short period of time... it seems unbelievable and really scary. I did the charts on this and they are also unbelievable and really scary. I hope they help shed light on what happened to this precious girl and what can happen to anyone at any time, it seems. I am curious about the possible link between this girl's murder and the loss of Heather Elvis and Brittannee Drexel. I have profiled each of these other cases and found that their murders were personal. Elvis was killed by her lover and Drexel was pregnant. Drexel was killed to keep her from having the baby. At least, that's what the charts revealed to me at the time and I still stand by those findings. So I have to say I did not find a link.
This first chart just spilled out in front of me and I felt the sadness creeping in again. You can see the seventh house ruler in the eighth house right away, a proven marker for a criminal. This person is sleazy, dangerous and aggressive. Uranus in Aries, right away, describes a highly unusual person who does not live by convention. Rules do not apply and there is a good chance the cops are already aware of this man because he cannot keep his head down. He is always creating chaos. Uranus is disposed of by Mars, so you can see the aggression here. Now couple this with the first house ruler, the Sun, right near by in the ninth house. This is the time when this criminal crosses her path. It is obvious. Now, both her ruler, the Sun and Mars are disposed of by the tenth house ruler, Venus. This is what brings them together; they are in the same place at the same time. Venus is closely aligned with the most violent fixed star in the heavens, Caput Algol. This always describes brutality and bloodshed and has been prominent in many famous murder cases, mostly those that became famous due to their brutality. I understand this girl was beaten to death. Pluto rules the fourth house and is placed in the fifth; I am surprised she was not raped as well.
She came across this criminal not far from where she was last seen, at the cable company office. He may have been panhandling or otherwise begging, perhaps asking for cigarettes. This caused her to stop long enough for him to commandeer her and her car. There is no doubt she was carjacked. The ninth house, where they came together, describes a parking area near a highway. Mercury in Taurus describes cars but it might be that hers was the only one parked there; there were no other people. The Moon in the seventh shows Amber in this persons' company, for whatever reason. However, Neptune being present also indicates that there was illusion at play and she had no idea who she was dealing with. There is a probability that he was a con artist as well as a dangerous violent criminal.
I jump ahead to the time of the discovery to see how it ties together. I will run charts for the between time but I do believe these will be the most revealing. In this chart you see the first house ruler, Mercury, in the eighth house of death. This shows her dead. Saturn shows us her dead body and it is in the second house, close to the node. Saturn is in Scorpio. This bridge crosses the intracoastal waterway and Scorpio is a water sign. It usually describes deep water with big fish. But she was found on land, under the bridge, which is described by the second house. Since it is near the node, we can assume he planned it this way and chose this spot in advance. But I do not think he knew this girl. I think he has killed before and grabs opportunities when they arise, leaving bodies in certain places he considers special for some reason.
In this chart you also see the tenth house ruler is Mercury. This describes more of the scene; the tenth house rules the authorities and here the ruler is conjoined her ruler, showing the authorities with her body. They have come together on discovery. But also Mercury rules cars and underpasses and highways... etc.. and this is how and where she was found. She was beaten to death instead of being shot or strangled because Mars is in Taurus, the sign of the pugilist and is trine to Pluto in Capricorn, a marker for being beaten, mostly by tools. Pluto is a violent marker in forensic charts and the sign Capricorn rules wood, rock and other natural elements. He may have used a bat or other large stick.
Neptune on the seventh cusp while conjoined the Moon in the sixth tells me he was nearby when the cops arrived. He was actually watching all of it from a hidden place. The fourth house ruler (the current location) is Jupiter, the planet of joy. Jupiter is disposed of by the first house ruler, Mercury, in the eighth house, telling us that he enjoys / enjoyed killing. He got a real kick out of beating this innocent girl to death. It's hard for those of us who find joy and solace in love and compassion to fathom that there are those who find joy and solace in murder. But this man does. It is because of this that I believe he is likely a serial killer or, at the least, a repeat violent offender. He actually wasn't far from where her body was found (Moon within a few degrees of the seventh house ruler) but he was well hidden from view (Neptune).
This is the chart where the first house ruler, Mercury, first enters the eighth house of death. Still disposed of by Venus, with Venus close to Algol. Mercury opposes Saturn in Scorpio in the third house. She was beaten to death right there near the overpass after being driven (or forced to drive) around the area for awhile. I don't know if he was looking for a place to leave her or what, but at 3 pm, they arrived there at the underpass and he beat her to death and left her. Perhaps she thought he wanted to go there or be taken there for some reason. Perhaps she thought he was homeless and slept under the bridge. I wish I had been a fly on the window of that car. But you can see Mercury entering the eighth, the first sign of impending death, and opposing Saturn, a marker for her body, in the third house (the car). Saturn is retrograde so she did not die easily; with all the planets in physical Taurus it is probable that she fought back. The node in the third shows planning; he needed a car to pull this off and he waited for the right victim. Saturn is disposed of by Pluto in Capricorn just entering the fourth house. All the markers point to a brutal beating death that happened right there where he left her.
Now, how do we determine clues to his identity? We have already discovered that he was / is a criminal and that he is dangerous and has done this before. Similar crimes, I'm sure, have been investigated. There is something unusual about his appearance, most especially on the face and head. An unusual shape to the head, perhaps or marks on the face. He has a fighter's body, medium height, stocky build, thick hands. Uranus square Pluto describes someone with a chip on his shoulder, that would explode in anger easily for unexpected reasons. He is a hot head and has a rebellious personality.
This girl was murdered for no reason other than being in the same place as a dangerous killer. The police need to get this guy or other women are going to die.
IN June of 1977, 16 year-old Angela Sigrid Ramsey hitchhiked from her home town of Columbia, South Carolina to Deland (in Volusia County), Florida to visit some friends. For two days, beginning on June 19, Angela stayed at the Boulevard Motel on Woodland Boulevard in Deland. She had befriended a worker at the motel who helped her stay there. She was reported a missing person on June 21, when she failed to show up for a dinner date with a man she met in Deland. All her belongings were left behind in her motel room. She has not been seen or heard from since.
Angela's birthday is May 16, 1961. She was 5'3" and weighed 115 pounds at the time of her disappearance. At the time, she had dark blond hair and brown eyes. She goes by the nickname "Angie". Despite leaving her home in South Carolina of her own accord, she is officially listed as Endangered Missing with foul play suspected in her involuntary disappearance from Deland, Florida. She went missing on June 21, 1977.
Police searched her motel room and found her jewelry, clothes and a photo of Angela herself taken by the Boulevard Motel swimming pool. The photo was taken by the man who was going to take Angela out to dinner on June 21st, the day she went missing. The man also had found the motel room key, and handed it over to investigators. The man was questioned in Angela's disappearance and has been ruled out as a suspect. Investigators also discovered a letter Angela had written to her best friend in South Carolina, saying she missed Columbia and her mother.
Angela's father was in the United States Army, so as a result of her family's travels, she had accumulated many friends throughout the country. Angela's mother said she hitchhiked to Florida with truckers, then stayed at a friend's house for two days before checking into Boulevard Motel. Apparently the friend she stayed with offered her money before she left, but she refused the offer. Her friend's family mentioned she was very polite and well-behaved during her visit.
There are many questions in Angela's disappearance. Did she vanish from the motel? Did she leave the motel for some reason (with the intention of coming back)? Did she try to hitch hike somewhere to get food or necessity items? Did she have anymore contact with friends during her stay? Did she go to the beach at all? Did her friend from the motel see her at all on June 21st? Why did the man she was supposed to meet up with have the key to her motel room? Did she leave to try to secure a ride back to Columbia? Was there a mall or any other social setting by Deland she would go to? All in all, I believe Angela wanted to return home to Columbia because she was home sick, so it is obvious she did not voluntarily leave Deland.
Angela's disappearance is one of many that occurred in Florida during the 1970s. There was also a surge of serial killers in Florida in the 1970s, so I figured a good place to start would be thinking of all the serial killers who were running loose in June of 1977. The first serial killer many would mention is Ted Bundy, who ended his killing spree in Florida. He was imprisoned on August 19, 1975, and escaped from prison December 30, 1977, so we can rule him out since he was still in prison at the time Angela vanished. Gerard Schafer can also be ruled out because he was arrested in 1973. Christopher Wilder did not start his killing spree until 1984. Is it possible he started before that? Sure, but it is doubtful.
Then we have Gerald Stano, who confessed to killing 41 women, but was convicted of killing 22. Gerald started his killing spree in the 1960s, and peaked his killings in the 1970s. It was not until April 1, 1980 that he was finally arrested. He was trying to kill a teen girl in a motel room. She was badly injured, but escaped and went to the police right away. If it was not for her, his killing spree would have spanned out another decade. He is a possibility in the disappearance of Angie. He targeted teen girls or young women in eastern Florida areas. He would target prostitutes, runaways or girls who liked to hitch hike. He would often cruise the strip of various towns, go to the beaches or motels where he knew young people liked to hang out. He is thought to be responsible for the disappearances of 12 year-old Susan Basile from Port Orange, Florida and 13 year-old Gail Joiner from Thonotosassa, Florida. Gail vanished two hours away from where Angela did in Deland on September 22, 1972. Susan vanished on June 10, 1975 from Port Orange, which is only 19 minutes away from Deland, where Angela would disappear from two years later. I believe Gerald Stano is someone who was very capable of taking Angela. Looking at the disappearance of Susan, we know he was likely to have crossed into the Deland area at some point. He target teen girls who were run aways or who liked to hitch hike, like Angela. He also would often go to motels to find his victims, and Angela was last seen at a motel.
I also searched the NAMUS and Charley Project databases for other cases in Florida that have similarities to Angela's. I based it on the ages, area, time frame and circumstances of the girls who were missing, such as if they liked to hitch hike, vanished from a motel or public "hang-out spot" or if they went missing not too far from Deland, Florida. Out of all the missing persons cases in Florida, I believe these would be most similar to Angela's disappearance, based on what we as the public know.

I have worked on this case on and off for about a year. At first, I could not make sense of what I was seeing based on what the reports say. But after giving it time and study it finally came together for me. I made the mistake of thinking she had to have been at the motel up to the time when her date was supposed to happen but I now know this is not how it went. When you see the charts you will be as shocked as I was but mostly impressed by the consistency of Astrology and how it just doesn't waiver from the truth. Instead of starting with the time of her "date" that evening, I backed up the charts and discovered something surprising. I ended up running charts backward to the apparent time of abduction as the charts revealed to me. Prepare to be amazed.
If you study this chart for 1:00 am on the day she disappeared, you can see that she is about to meet up with someone at the motel. The first house ruler, her marker, is in the ninth, disposed of by Jupiter in the third. This clearly shows her in the parking lot outside the motel (the third house rulers vehicles and the ninth rules garages). The ninth is also the third from the seventh so it tells us something about a car belonging to someone other than our victim. We know Angela didn't have a car and was in the habit of hitchhiking or bumming rides. Since Mercury rules the seventh (and is also the natural ruler of vehicles and travel) and is posited here in the third house (the vehicle), I would guess that this is the person who had the car. Remember that this motel is run down, small, cheap with few amenities; no pool or exercise area, simply TV and a phone. The parking lot would be small and cramped. So perhaps she is just hanging out, trying to get a ride somewhere, perhaps to get food or some other necessity. Since the Moon, which co rules the chart, is in the sixth house, it may be that she is looking for a health related item, perhaps personal or not. Moon in the sixth in forensic charts often means she will never be seen again and since this is what happened, we can consider this an omen.
Mercury, the seventh house ruler, and Jupiter, the dispositor of the first house ruler, are both in the sign Gemini, so it is very likely that they met over a ride and did not know each other well. Neptune in the ninth may indicate that few people, perhaps no one else, even saw his car. Neptune in Sagittarius indicates it may have been a royal blue or purple car. The paint job might have been pearlized or otherwise made shiny and transformative to the eye and the interior may have been white. Neptune often describes vehicles with colors that are hard to describe and seem to be translucent. The tag may have been altered or removed and the car may even have been stolen. If anyone did actually see it, they may have described the color incorrectly. But as far as I know no one has been investigating this case so no one is asking about vehicles or their color.
What happens next and then continues for hours on end will amaze you.
It is in this chart that we first see them together, outside of the vehicle. The placement of the first house and seventh house rulers in the first imply that Angela went along willingly. The first house ruler, Mars, is in the first house with the seventh house ruler, Venus. They are together at this point, she is going along willingly and she is going to this place with him perhaps because he asked her to (the first house ruler, Mars, is disposed of by the seventh house ruler, Venus). The chart co ruler, the Moon, is in the sign Leo in the fifth house with Saturn. These two planets are disposed of by the Sun, which is in the third house. So she may have felt a bit pressured to go along and there was, presumably, a party of some sort going on... or perhaps they went to a restaurant or bar. I used to hang out at some of the iconic places in Deland during the 1970s and I can attest to the all night restaurants there. The bars were shut down after 2 am so I am thinking they went to eat (Taurus)\ with Moon and Saturn in the fifth). This may have been why she needed a ride to begin with, to hit a quick stop or to run through a drive in. But it looks like he may have insisted on going somewhere to eat and drink and she went along.
At this time, she looks safe and sound. She is moving under her own power, even if she did feel pressured to eat in a restaurant rather than get something and go back to the room. She is fine at this time. But there is one omen that things might change soon and that is the square between her ruler, Mars and Saturn in the fifth. We need to watch the eighth house during the next few hours to see what transpires between her and this man she has just met.
This is going to be a long post so bear with me. There will be many charts before I am done. This chart, for 3 am, shows the beginning of the change in location. You see the Moon on the edge of the fourth / fifth house axis which shows her leaving the establishment and heading for home. Saturn is already in the fourth and it rules the tenth, which always shows the current or next location. These planets are both disposed of by the Sun in the third, showing us that they are headed for the car. Although Neptune has moved into the eighth, it does not rule an angle and has no power yet. We will have to watch it, though, as things progress.
The seventh house co ruler, Pluto, is lingering in the sixth house, which disturbs me. There is definitely something wrong with this guy. It is disposed of by the first house ruler, Venus, so he is developing a fixation and it's not healthy.
This chart shows us that the took her home. Both rulers, first and seventh house, are still together but they are now in the twelfth. This shows them to be "out of view", in a hidden or secret place, possibly leading to confinement. At the same time, the chart co ruler, the Moon, has moved into the fourth house with Saturn (the tenth house co ruler) and shows their new location to be a residence or other shelter. I am thinking this was a work space, an office or other non residential location. Notice that Pluto, the seventh house co ruler, is in the sixth. The tenth house ruler, Uranus, is in the sixth. The fourth house ruler, the Sun, is in the second. All of these describe a location where work is done and money is made. Especially with the node in the sixth, which tells us he has brought other people here before and that he had planned to do so with Angela.
Now this leads me to suspect one of two things. This is a place where he actually does work of some kind and he uses it to lure unsuspecting victims, to make them feel safer. Or this is a place where he takes captured women to make money from them... such as through pictures, movies or selling them out for sex. There are no markers in the eighth or fifth houses so I have no reason to believe that this last suspicion is true.
In order to keep from posting a dozen more charts here, I am going to move along more quickly. None the less, what you will see here will amaze you.
This chart for two hours later, even with the changes on the first and seventh house cusp, show them to still be together. Notice that the new first house ruler, Mercury and the new seventh house ruler, Jupiter, are together in the twelfth. They are still hunkered down together in the same place. Mercury now rules the fourth house and the chart co ruler, the Moon, is in the third house, and this gives us a clearer picture of their location. This office is either a second home or work location for him (Gemini prevails here) or it's a mobile location such as an RV, a mobile office of some sort, a mobile home, etc.. Or it could be both. He could do his "work" out of an RV or a mobile office, which could be set up in a mobile home. This part of florida is full of mobile homes. All of Florida is run over with mobile homes, which I never understood with our hurricane problem why people would want to live in homes that can be blown away. But they do. And this man could have taken Angela to some such location and held her there. I am thinking they might have gotten some sleep with the twelfth house the ruler of sleep and dream life. She may have gone along with this if she was really tired or she felt she had no other choice. It could mean she was being held captive.
Notice that Neptune, now the ruler of the tenth, is in the sixth house. This is another pointer to the current location and that it is a place where work is done. But Neptune rules cameras, films, acting and all that and is the first indicator that he might be putting something on film. The fifth house is now holding the node, which is in Libra, and this could be an indicator that film or movies may be a part of his work.
In this chart you can see that the focus has somehow turned to money. Both first and seventh house rulers, the Moon and Saturn, are now in the second house of finances. These planets are both disposed of by the Sun in Gemini 29 degrees. There are a cluster of fixed stars in this part of Gemini that point to rape, lust and sexual addiction but the most intense marker is the opposition to Sinistra, a fixed star at 28 degrees of Sagittarius and is a marker for obsessive lust and sexual assault. With these fixed stars in this grouping, it could be determined that his purpose in having Angela there was to rape her. But why this had not happened earlier and why he waited until the next day I do not know. But the tenth house ruler is now Mars and it is in the tenth house opposing Uranus in the fourth. This shows us a sudden, violent attack that came out of the blue. This is happening because he has her at his mercy at this location away from her safety zone. Pluto is also angular in the fourth and describes the possibility of a violent assault at the current location. We have already determined that this location is also a place of work and money for this man so perhaps her assault was connected to his work? A way to make money? Could this be porn or sex slavery? The most popular of these in the 1970s was porn, forced on women either already in the trade or kidnapped for that purpose. The term sex slavery was never used but snuff porn was a big thing. As sick as that sounds it was. They would rape women and then kill them on camera. This was illegal, of course, but the scumbags who were into this work also sold drugs, kidnapped children for sale and killed each other over money. The drug scene was here already in the 1940s and 1950s but it was mostly shared among black musicians. Heroin addiction was common. But the bigger, larger drug scene exploded in the 1960s when huge numbers of average white people began using drugs like marijuana, LSD and Meth. Meth was called speed and it was mostly black beauties; bathtub meth came along later. So at the time this girl disappeared there were a lot of drug smugglers in Florida and most of them were bad guys. Bike gangs like the Iron Cross, the Outlaws and the Hells Angels had a huge presence in the area, mostly in South Florida but some in the central area near where this poor girl was abducted. Girls like Amy Billig were suspected of being killed by drug dealing bikers and there were no shortage of stories about girls being crucified to trees or being gang raped and left out in the road dead. We also had a few deadly serial killers come through this same area, including Gerald Stano, Ted Bundy, Christopher Wilder and Jeffrey Dahmer. These have been mostly ruled out by dates and times, as shown above, and although the other writer suspects Stano, it is my knowledge that he preferred girls younger than Angela. His victims were all 12 and 13. But I see that Angela was only 16 at the time, so Stano cannot be ruled out entirely.
In this chart, we have a number of outstanding markers. The tenth house ruler is conjunct the fourth house ruler and they are both entering the tenth. The twelfth house ruler, Mercury, is opposed to Neptune in the fifth. The first house ruler and the seventh house ruler, the Moon and Saturn, are conjoined and closely squared to the tenth house ruler and fourth house ruler. Then tenth house ruler, Mars, is opposed to the eighth house ruler, Uranus. This gives Uranus some power in the chart and is a sad omen in the sign Scorpio in the fourth. Pluto is also in the fourth house, hanging around the node. All signs that this girl is in grave danger. Both Uranus and Pluto in the fourth point to violence and upset within the current location. Pluto squaring her marker, the Sun, makes her the target of these chaotic and violent events.
The tenth house ruler conjoined the fourth house ruler in the tenth house tells me that they are in the same place, which may even be the same motel that Angela was staying at. As already noted, this was a small, drab place with few amenities and no security. The earlier charts placed him in the parking lot with the inference being that he was also staying there. A motel would meet the criteria for a mobile type of place because it is a place where people come and go and don't stay long. But many motels also have long term residents or even residents who run businesses out of the rooms. In the 1970s widespread suspicion just didn't exist and so many criminals ran their game with little interference. So perhaps this is what is happening here; the charts are saying that they are in the same place so I am reading it that way. So this poor girl may have been in the same motel the entire time, just in a different room and being held by people against her will. Reminds me of Elisa Lam.
Neptune in the fifth trine to Saturn in the first (with Saturn ruling the sixth) leads me to believe that this person was filming or taking pictures of Angela. The violence in the earlier chart may have been intimidation to get her under control. In this chart, the first house ruler is in the eleventh, which is a house ruling relationships and interludes. Working with the fifth house, it often portrays relationships that have no real meaning, one night stands, rebound affairs as it also is a marker for divorce or dissolution. Neptune in the physical fifth house opposing the cluster of planets in the eleventh just looks like a sexual situation and not one between lovers. One, perhaps, where one of the partners is resisting or wanting to stop. Uranus in the fourth is disposed of by Pluto so it may be rape or assault. Or she may be coerced into participating without so much resistance. Both scenarios are possible. Pluto in Libra in the third describes at least communication between two intimates, maybe one person intimidating the other with threats. Uranus disposed of by Pluto and ruling the seventh house would indicate that it is the man in this case threatening this girl and coercing her through intimidation. That's what this most likely means.
This next chart is the first to give an inkling of a death pattern. Although it also looks like she was drugged. Notice the Moon and Saturn in the twelfth house, which is an indication she was either asleep, drugged or knocked out. Neptune rules the seventh and it is in the fourth, which seems to show us the kidnapper going to her motel room. He may have gone there to return her things, to take some of her things, to return the key or all of the above. Actually, it was the man she had a date with who had her key. This, I am thinking, is very strange. Why would she go out and look for a ride somewhere and not take her key? Could it be that this man, her date, whom the cops cleared for unknown reasons, was her actual kidnapper? Hmmmm. It would make sense that she took a ride with him if she already knew him... or perhaps he made this up when he was caught with the key? Perhaps the only date they had was this nightmare he forced on her? Neptune is opposite Jupiter while being in mutual reception. This occurs between the tenth and fourth houses so perhaps he had access to both rooms and took advantage of this. Jupiter is conjunct to and disposed of by the first house ruler, Mercury, so when you combine the dispositions of Jupiter and Mercury it looks like a kind of game where this guy pretends to be somebody else while taking advantage of the open opportunity with this victim. Her room, his room. And his obvious deceit with Neptune at the nadir, I do believe he is preparing an alibi. This is where he gets the idea to say they had a date and he had her key and all that, pretending to know her better than he did and duping the cops. I hate to say it but the cops don't look like they gave this whole debacle more than a passing glance.
There is not enough in this chart to say this girl is dead. Just that she was knocked out and he went to her room to create his illusions for the authorities. He spent quite some time with her, the charts I have run well into the evening show them to still be together and the girl is still alive. I thought for awhile that he had not killed her but actually maybe run off with her somehow. But then the charts started to reform and complete what I call a "death pattern". It's where many of the power planets in the chart appear in death houses and with aspects to death house rulers. This did not happen until later that evening and I do not want to show every single chart I ran so I will leap ahead here to the time at which things begin to change.
In this chart, you can see the Moon in the eighth with Saturn. This is an omen. At the same time, the tenth and fourth house rulers are Venus and Mars and they are together in the eighth house. More sex. Pluto at the midheaven, disposed of by Venus and disposing of Mars. This is crazy. The Moon and Saturn are both disposed of by the Sun, which is right at the seventh cusp. He is going to kill her. He has the patriarchal power, so to speak, with the masculine Sun in masculine Cancer. Cardinal signs always have a lot of power. Venus and Mars are both still within opposition to Uranus in Scorpio, in the tenth house. It is unpredictable when and how he might do it but it will probably happen during a sexual assault. It will happen in his room (Pluto at the tenth, the tenth being the fourth from the seventh). Her marker, the first house ruler, Jupiter is in the sixth house with his marker, Mercury (Gemini seventh). Her marker is disposed of by his, telling us that she is there because of him, which most likely means he has held her there against her will. Especially with Saturn in the eighth, a marker for death but also for imprisonment and torture; Saturn in the twelfth shows captivity and misery. It is most often a marker for hospital stays.
Neptune in the twelfth shows induced sleep so I am thinking he drugged her. Knocked her out and had sex with her. More than once, in fact, many times and perhaps also took pictures. Her death is marked by the Moon in Leo, with the Moon ruling the eighth and placed in the eighth. Fixed stars in this same area, near to the last degree of Leo, are rather dark. Phecda points to sex addiction and pathological desires. Alfard describes strangulation, suffocation or drowning. It is likely he strangled her. The void of course position of the Moon moves a lot of it's energy forward into Virgo. So the chart for the next hour must also be studied.
This chart shows that after her death, he took control of her body in some manner. The Moon and Saturn proximity bring them together. This might imply necrophilia but there no markers at this point in time that specifically mean sex. But he is going to move her body so we need to follow the charts until we see him leave her. Then we can work on locating her remains. There are many places in the Deland area of Florida that fit this profile. Leo points to state parks and campgrounds with memorials, forts or government buildings. The fire element describes grills and cooking areas in the park. Leo also points to large animals roaming in heavily forested areas and some of the parks there are huge enough for this, including Deleon Springs State Park. But the location that stands out for me is Lake George State Forest in the Deland area, which runs along the St Johns River waterway, which satisfies the Sun in Cancer descriptors as well. The fact that Saturn is moving into the seventh also points the movement west of Deland. Moon in Virgo is pointing south by west as well. So he is moving her west of the current location. The Lake George State Forest is only 23 minutes, 13 miles from the motel where Angela was murdered. This traveling west. Wow. The charts are showing us where he took her and where her body might be found. Only problem is, the state forest is 3 tracts of land thickly forested with pine trees. It spreads out over 20,000 acres. This is a huge area to search and the results are bound to be depressing, especially after 37 years. No doubt the terrain has undergone changes. The Sun in Cancer may also mean that she was put in the water and the waterways there are very large, one of them stretching the length of the state. So that's another difficult, arduous search that is bound to end up fruitless. If anyone is really interested in searching for her, having the time and the means and the money, contact me. I will work on it to see if I can't narrow something down.
In the search for her killer, I can offer some clues to that end. I have looked at the descriptors several times and each time I am inclined to give Stano as a possibility. He was in the area at that time and he fits the descriptors. Mercury in Gemini gives someone small in stature, restless with a quick walk, mobile hands and eyes (darting about) and probably wears glasses. This fits Gerald Stano to a T. He was a Virgo, in fact, and ruled by Mercury. Even though he has already been executed, it would give closure to the case if he could be named. I am not sure how long Stano was said to have kept his victims and, in this case, the time of confinement is extraordinary in my experience but the methods are similar. He would rape, strangle and stab. That was his modus operandi and it fits this analysis also. Gemini rules sharp objects that move quickly, such as bullets and knives. Not larger objects, such as those described by Sagittarius and not ammunition in general. But bullets coming out of guns, for instance, or hands thrusting knives. As well, Gemini rules the breathing and Mercury rules the chest, so strangulation or suffocation also fit this descriptor. There is just nothing here that rules him out and he was active in the area at that time. In fact, he lived in the same county. It might be a waste of time trying to pin a murder on someone who has already been executed and there may be no one among Angela's relatives who are still alive or who still care. But if someone does, perhaps this will help bring closure.
On Saturday August 9, 1997 at about 5:20PM, the victim who had just returned from the grocery store and was carrying groceries towards her home was confronted by an unknown assailant and shot. A witness observed a M/B/5’9 - 5’10” run away from the area. The victim was pronounced at the scene.

This case is one of those cases that don't really get investigated, go cold quickly and get no public attention. Just an older white woman carrying some groceries home to her apartment in North Carolina. She gets shot by a total stranger for no reason at all and is left dying in the parking lot. They list the case on the pd website and then it just sort of fades away. There are so many of these, it's mind boggling. It's not high profile, it's not on TV and it won't get me many new viewers but I am going to do it in the hopes that someone might light a fire under it and get some justice for her family. The estimated time of death was 5:20 PM, as noted in the blurb I found online. So I ran a chart for 5:20 pm. And then I saw that the angular rulers were in the process of changing so I ran charts for 5:10, 5:20 and 5:30 pm.
This chart for 5:30 clearly shows the attack. First house is ruled by Capricorn with Saturn right at the nadir. Saturn is just inside the third house, showing her in the vicinity of her car and possibly in a parking area. It is also right at the cusp of the fourth house, which shows her front door. She was between her car and her front door, just as reported. Notice the seventh house ruler, the Moon in Libra in the tenth house. Mars, the fourth house ruler, is right there with the Moon, showing this person to be at Barbara's home (Mars). The tenth house also tells us that Barbara's home is where many other people live as well (it was an apartment building) and that she was outside in an open area, possibly near a highway (Moon and Mars disposed of by Venus in the ninth). It is very likely that the man who shot her lived in the same apartments. The tenth house ruler is Venus in Libra in the ninth, which describes the area to be landscaped and painted feminine colors and that many women lived in the same apartments. Venus is disposed of by Mercury in the eighth so the area was also a high crime area and was not always safe. Typical crimes were common thievery, break ins, hold ups and purse snatching (Mercury).
Neptune and Uranus in the first house also tell us something. Neptune in the first while ruling the third, says that because Barbara was in a parking lot, surrounded by cars, she could not see her assailant in advance (Neptune casts shadows). Uranus (also in the first house) describes the element of surprise. Uranus also rules the second house, so robbery may have been a motive. The Moon in Libra describes this assailant and since it is so close to Mars, this may be showing us the gun or, at the least, that this person was armed. Libra is an air sign so it describes things that fly through the air and air signs, in general, can describe sharp or fast moving weapons, among other things. Also, the Moon and Mars are both disposed of by Venus in Virgo in the ninth house with Venus conjoined the node. This could very well have been a botched car jacking. The ninth house, in general describes the parking area and Mercury on the cusp describes vehicles. Notice that Mercury is in the eighth at the time of death, so perhaps the car was the reason she was killed. It's possible.
I also note that the first house ruler, Saturn, is also the traditional marker for dead bodies or "bags of bones". This planet is right at the nadir, which is, to me, the front door of the victim's home. She was actually found dead only a few feet from her front door. Saturn is disposed of by Mars, which is in the tenth house, showing what I believe to be an attack in an open area such as a sidewalk or commons. You can see the actual apartments she lived in HERE. Although this happened many years ago and the apartments have changed names and been refurbished a bit, the architecture and landscaping is the same and the distance from the parking lot is also the same. It does not look like a high crime area but I have heard that there are break-ins there on occasion. I think her murder was unusual. There was no sign that she knew this person, the witnesses did not see anything shared between them, not even a glance, and the charts show clearly that she did not see him approach. The charts are really poor at revealing motives but I can tell what kind of person did this and maybe give some clues that would help find him.
The Moon in Libra rules the seventh house and is disposed of by Venus in Virgo in the ninth house. The ninth house shows the parking lot or area just outside of the homes. It always the outdoors but most often describes parking lots and sheds or storage buildings attached to the main domicile. In this case, I would guess it's describing the parking area. Notice how the node is right there with Venus. This actually looks like the shooter planned on shooting someone in that parking lot on that day. I am not sure if he meant it to be this woman or just anyone but the planning is there. Perhaps the plan was to steal a car and he failed in doing that after all. Keep that in mind while I analyze the rest of the aspects. The Moon in Libra is conjoined Mars so this shows this person in possession of a weapon. Mars most often describes guns. The tenth house is an open area in the outdoors, which is where the parking lot is of course. This chart shows this person in the parking lot with a gun, planning to shoot someone. The first house ruler is Saturn in Aries, showing her to be the target. This configuration raises the question of whether or not this woman was targeted and not just shot at random. The Moon is also square to Neptune, rising in the first house. And again Neptune is disposed of by Saturn in Aries, which describes our victim. Did she do something to piss this person off and he came after her? Perhaps this was not a random killing after all . Why do I say this? Well, the Moon, which describes our assailant, makes a close aspect to Neptune right before the shooting. Neptune makes a close square to Saturn, which is the marker for our victim. Neptune shows him hiding from her view; the node conjoined the dispositor shows planning in advance and the marker for our victim, Saturn in Aries, is disposed of by Mars, which is closely aligned with the marker for the killer and describes the weapon. I know this seems convoluted and complicated but sometimes the charts run around in different directions, showing us different details that come into play. It is possible this shooting was a random attempt to carjack this lady or perhaps it was a targeted killing. At this point, both possibilities exist. I think we can get a better idea of the motive (which charts are poor at revealing) by examining the seventh house ruler very closely.
The Moon in Libra describes our shooter. This is a position that puts someone into the mix with other people and there may have been a relationship dispute involving this man and this woman. The Moon is directly opposed to Saturn, showing disagreement or conflict. The tenth house ruler, Venus, in the ninth tells us that this man lived in a nearby area but one that might be said to be "over the railroad tracks". Near but not the same. Although the Moon shows us he has been in this area before, the indicators do not have him living there. I am thinking, at this point, that he knew this woman after all. There was nothing stolen, not her purse, not the groceries, no attempt to snatch her car. He just ran up and shot her and then ran off. This has all the markings of a planned murder, most especially the node. Not only is it conjoined to the tenth house ruler, Venus, but Venus disposes of the Moon, which describes our shooter. So he had planned to be in that parking lot, no question about it. With the Moon in Libra also square to Neptune in the first, he planned on sneaking up there and pulling this off by hiding himself well enough. This he obviously did because no one can given a better description of the man and he has, so far, gotten away with this. At this point, I have to ask if anyone has checked the friends list of her younger relatives. There is a possibility that this man was involved in a relationship with one of her female relatives (daughter, step daughter, daughter in law, niece, etc..) that she did not approve of. Many people disapprove of mixed marriages and perhaps Barbara had been vocal about this female relative being involved with a black man? Could this have been his motive for shooting her? If no one has looked closely at her younger female relatives and determined if there was a black man in the mix, then this could be the man who shot her. I am just saying that, in light of the reported facts (nothing stolen), the markers in this chart (Moon in Libra, Node so close to Venus, etc...) it looks to me like this woman was targeted and was known by the man who killed her. This was not, according to the charts, a random act of violence.
Another thing I feel compelled to point out is that this chart does not give a death pattern. Not every forensic chart shows one and sometimes you see other markers for murder or death. The standout marker in this chart is the opposition from the first house ruler, Saturn, to the seventh house ruler, the Moon and the Moon conjoined to Mars, showing an attack of some sort. The eighth house ruler is in the eighth, another marker for death. And Mars also ruling the fourth shows an attack at the victim's home. Other than these aspects, however, this chart does not give a clear death pattern. So keep in mind as you work with these charts that events can be described in many different ways and you have to use your intuition at times to determine exactly what they are saying.
Cold Case # 1972-6573
Victim: Sylvia Newman Gregory
Age: 22 / White Female
Location: Highway 160, near Fort Mill, SC, one and a half miles below the city limit sign.
Date of Homicide: 04-18-1972
Summary:
The victim is a female who was 22 years old at the time she was kidnapped (date of birth 7/28/49). She was 5'7", approximately 135 pounds, light brown shoulder length hair and brown eyes. The victim was home alone at the time of her abduction. When her husband arrived home he found the door on their trailer ajar and could not locate the victim. There were signs of a struggle. He then reported her disappearance to the police. Sylvia was apparently abducted from her trailer at approximately 2200 hours on 4/18/72. Her remains were located on 10/10/73 in woods off of Highway 160 west of Fort Mill, SC. Anyone with information regarding this homicide is asked to contact the Cold Case Homicide Squad.
This is about all I could find online about this case. In other newspaper articles they make references to the body find and that she had been shot in the head with a bullet. I cannot copy these pages but you can read them here:
I have been snooping around various county websites for cold cases. I did not want to end up doing a whole bunch from my area or from any particular area and wanted a national source. This was one of the cases that stood out to me. Something about her picture.. and memories from the 1970s. I felt really bad that this girl was only 22 years old and no one has yet been charged with her murder. So I drew charts for the time she was presumed abducted, for the time when her body was found and for the days and hours in between. I enjoy doing really old cold cases because it puts them back on the web, with a new slant, but it also allows me to study a variety of events with astrology charts.
It has been stated that she was assumed to be abducted around 10 pm that evening. I wanted to start a half hour before that time to see what was going on. And this first chart has a lot to show me. You can see that the seventh house ruler (the person she is "about to meet" is Mercury and that Mercury is in the fourth house (which describes her home). So, from this, we can assume he is already in her home at 9:30 pm. But notice that the fourth house ruler is Neptune and that Neptune is in the twelfth house. This shows something in that home that Syvlia could not see. Something was hidden from view and it's my guess it's this visitor. He is hiding in the home as early as 9:30 that evening and she did not see him right away. He must have caught her by surprise.
Mercury is trine Neptune so things are going to go his way. Neptune is the darkness there that keeps her from seeing him at first and this is how Neptune assisted him. Jupiter rules the first house and so Jupiter is Sylvia's marker. Jupiter is also in the first house, showing her to be in "her own place" which translates into her home (or any other area she frequented). Jupiter is disposed of by Saturn, which is at the Descendant (the marker for her abductor). Saturn is exactly opposite Neptune in the twelfth so she would stumble upon him (caught by surprise as noted) and this may be what caused the struggle in the house. There were reports from her husband, who was the first to discover her missing, that the house showed signs of a struggle. Saturn is also exactly sextile to Mercury so, from this, we can assume she had seen this person before. In fact, Jupiter opposing the Moon (with the Moon dexter by a few degrees) tells me that she had contact with him in the days before her abduction. She did something she didn't ordinarily do, such as being kind or supportive to a stranger, and he saw this act of kindness as a come on (or a sign of weakness). He chose her at that moment for some reason but the idea that should would be sympathetic, passive or "easy" seems to stand out for me. The Moon is really strong in Cancer but Jupiter is in fall in Capricorn, so this thing she did (this act of kindness) may be viewed as being a great quality of a strong character by many of us but, to this man, it would also look like Sylvia was weak. Kindness is often misread. This is what this looks like to me. He misread her kindness as a weakness towards him; perhaps flirtatious.
So he saw her in the days prior to this abduction and somehow knew where she lived. Mercury in Aries is his marker and this is disposed of by Mars in Gemini with both planets in mutual reception. He found it easy to discover where she lived and also found it easy to enter the home. We know that her home was a trailer, which are notorious for being unsafe, and the fourth house ruler, Neptune was in Sagittarius. Sylvia and her husband had not been in the trailer long and they had plans to move on eventually, maybe even travel out of state. That's what Neptune in Sagittarius is saying. It may also be saying that they were new to the area, having moved there from somewhere far away. It also is a marker for travel. Although I have no idea what either Sylvia or her husband did for a living, it is possible it involved travel of some sort.
Getting back to the abduction, I have to note that the seventh house ruler, Mercury, is in Aries and is disposed of by Mars in Gemini in the seventh house. Mars, in turn, is conjoined to Venus. At the same time, the Moon in Cancer is in the eighth house and Mercury rules the tenth house with Pluto at the midheaven. This is striking. His purpose in being there (Mercury disposed of by Mars) was to "get" Sylvia. He was not there to rob or steal and this was not a random event. Mars being so close to Venus in this scenario makes a female (most likely the victim) a target of this man's intentions. As well, the Moon in Cancer in the eighth house is a strong indicator that he wanted her for sex or death or both. Pluto, a violent and chaotic force in forensic charts, is in the last few minutes of the sign Virgo. The presages a change in events and since Pluto is angular and high in the chart, I would say it was going to be chaotic. Also, the tenth house describes this man's home and with Pluto there, I would guess he had done violent things in his home previously and had intentions to do so again.
In the chart for 10 pm I see that Mercury rules the tenth house from the fourth house. This man lived in the same neighborhood as Sylvia and lived in the same type of housing. It appears he lives in a trailer. In the chart for 11 pm, notice how the seventh house ruler, Mercury, at that hour has moved out of the fourth and into the third. They are on the road at that point. But the third house is not a highway or an interstate, it is a neighborhood avenue. He did not take her far. Moon in the seventh house shows Sylvia to be in "his custody". And the real interesting pattern in this chart is the cluster in the sixth, including the tenth and fourth house rulers with Saturn, which disposes of Jupiter in the first. Venus and Mars are exactly conjoined (within 30 seconds) so this represents two people who live together and may be married. Saturn there as disposition for the first house ruler, shows Sylvia with these two people and the probability that she will never be seen again. These people are transients who move around alot and may have been in the armed services at some time or, at the least, come from military families. The sign Gemini reinforces that there are, in fact, two people, close to each other in some manner and that they move around a lot and are not settled. Uranus in Libra in the tenth house shows us an alternative lifestyle of some sort: swingers, people of the same sex, living together unmarried (in the 70s that was "alternative") or some other unusual set up. I would say, just from my own viewpoint, that it would be rather unusual for two people, married or otherwise, to kidnap a woman and bring her to their home, for any purpose.
Then it's the chart for 1 am where things become crystal clear. Notice how the tenth and fourth house placements have changed to Taurus and Scorpio but that their rulers remain the same, Venus and Mars. This is that same couple but now things have changed. Venus and Mars are together with Saturn, which now rules the first house, in the fifth house. They are having sex with Sylvia! They have made a threesome with her, most likely against her will. Swinging was a popular past time in the 1970s but I have only heard of a few instances where a woman was abducted and used by a couple. Notice the tenth house ruler, Pluto, in the eighth house? And that all of these planets, Venus, Mars and Saturn, are disposed of by Mercury in the second house. And, also, that Neptune is within 3 seconds of exact opposition to Saturn, which rules the first. This, altogether, looks like sex on film for money and a possible snuff film in the making. Snuff films were a big rage thing in the 70s, also. When you have all the players planets disposed of by one planet in the second house, it starts looking like money as a motive. But Pluto in the eighth adds violent death to the mix and Neptune opposing Sylvia's marker looks like her being recorded against her will. She was abducted and forced into sex with these people; all of it was put on film for money. But it wasn't just the sex they wanted to record. Pluto in the eighth is disposed of by the same planet in the second house, Mercury. Documentaton of death. That's what it looks like to me. And the dignified Moon in Cancer lingering in the sixth house does assure us of one thing: Sylvia will never be seen again.
Another thing that Neptune opposing Saturn tells me is that they drugged this girl. She was drugged and then murdered. And with all the planets in Gemini disposed of by Mercury in Aries, this fits a gunshot to the head. Gemini also describes projectiles, often more than one. The Moon in Cancer can indicate drowning. Cancer rules the death house at the time of the abduction and the Moon is in Cancer also in the death house. There is a good chance that when all is said and done, they dump what is left of her in the water.
The first house ruler enters the eighth house for the first time at 2 am and remains there for hours. Pluto remains with the first house ruler, Uranus, in the eighth house until around 3 am, earth time. This seems to be saying that the sex and violence went on for quite some time before she died. Or, as much as I hate to say it, the sex and violence went on after her death. One or the other or both. This was a horrific act, according to these charts, and there is no nice way to say it.
This chart for 3 am shows that Sylvia is dead, as the charts before it also seemed to say, but in this one, they move her body. Pluto has moved into the seventh house, showing a disagreement between the two about something. Saturn, which represents the body of the victim in death, is now in the third house. They have taken her out of the home, perhaps into a car. Saturn rules the twelfth, which sort of affirms the idea that she is dead, and is directly opposite Neptune in the ninth (separated by only 2 minutes). I am thinking they took her out to the garage. Neptune has no house rulership so it is not prominent in this placement except by the opposition. I think they knew they could not hide her in the garage and they knew they could not burn the body without drawing unwanted attention. So Neptune would not work for them at this point. The third house ruler is Venus and it's placed in the fourth house so they had a car at their disposal. Both Venus and Mars so close together in Gemini seems to indicate that they both shared one car, rather than having two cars. Venus also rules the eighth while Saturn rules the twelfth so they were going to use that car to dispose of her; take her to her resting place, so to speak. North node in the twelfth indicates two different ideas: that they have done this before with people they knew and/ or they take the body (or bodies) to the same place every time. Add to that the node disposed of by Uranus in the eighth with Uranus ruling the first house, this may even be a part of their lifestyle. They think of their marriage as "alternative". Also, second house ruler, the Sun, in the second house may be describing a business contact that buys their "product". Back then, hard core porn was fairly new (it was rare in the 1960s) and snuff films were on the rise. I remember how horrified most of us were when we realized that.
Moon in the fifth house in this chart again describes sexual activity and with the first house ruler, Uranus, in the eighth, this may include "unusual" sexual activity. The Moon is sinister to a square with Uranus and this shows me that most of their victims were not willing. They fought back. Perhaps this was part of the "fun"? It is interesting that the Moon is the strongest planet in this chart, which seems to give the victim more power than it seems she had. At the same time, the tenth house ruler, Jupiter, is the weakest in the chart, and this shows us their home was vulnerable. They could have been easily discovered if someone had gone into their home. The victims could have revealed this if they would have gotten away. And perhaps, over time, someone did reveal them and they have since been imprisoned for crimes of this nature and/ or executed. Pluto in the seventh house underscores a violent personality and it is unlikely they continued this sort of thing and did not get caught.
I also think the presence of Uranus in the eighth after Saturn has been moved into the third, shows the couple having sex after moving the body. Yuk.
Remember that Saturn becomes the victim after death. The first house then becomes the abductor(s) / killer(s). The seventh house represents anyone else who enters the picture or has influence over events. The victim is no longer moving so you follow the body wherever the murderer may take it. Since this chart is showing us the victim as dead, then Saturn is her marker at this time. Saturn is in Gemini in the third house. Uranus in the eighth disposed of by Venus in the fourth conjoined Mars shows us this couple still in the home while Saturn in the third, shows Sylvia's body to be outside the home. The cusp of the seventh house is involved in a grand trine with Neptune in the ninth and Mercury in the first. They are probably going to cremate the remains. Mercury in the first in Aries will determine when and where they do it. The opposition from Neptune to Saturn confirms that they cannot hide her there, in their home, or burn her body there. So, Aries describes an area where the ground has been disturbed (for any reason), a place with abandoned buildings and empty structures (of any kind) Mercury describes an area within walking or driving distance, in the same neighborhood, perhaps in an area where things are stored or kept. Could also be an area near a truck stop, a school (likely closed), a paper mill (operating or not), an empty parking lot or any closed or abandoned business such as a car lot, a bowling alley or playground (any lot where sports were played). Any of these types of locations in the local area (not far from Sylvia's home) would be where they took her body and burned it. Aries describes outside cooking stoves, grills or ovens and if you keep this in mind, you can narrow it down. A camping site not far from a truck stop would make perfect sense. Sometime between 4 and 5 am in the morning, they took her body to a location similar to those described and burned it. And, then, with the Moon so strong in Cancer, they took the ashes and tossed them out over the water.
The couple who abducted her are described by Venus and Mars in Gemini. These were the markers at the time of her abduction. This describes an "intellectual" type couple who enjoyed playing "games". They liked strategy sessions and planning out their "adventures". They liked to share partners and to "swing" with other people but I think they mostly would stick with women as victims and maybe have adventures with other couples, both women and men, but these did not involve rape and murder. Venus and Mars square Uranus in these charts tells us that this couple was "adventurous" and different in their makeup and needed excitement. It probably started with "swinging", which was big in the 1960s and 1970s. They probably watched porn, when it became widely available, and indulged in experimentation. Mercury in Aries here shows us that they got aggressive about their strong desires and started dreaming up schemes where they could exercise power and be "in control". Gemini is playful so at first this was probably just acted out. But Mercury in Aries trine Neptune is now telling us that drugs and alcohol have often been involved and imaginations got wilder over time.
