Details of Disappearance
Marshall accompanied her family on a picnic outing in the in the Helena National Forest in the Elkhorn Mountains on June 25, 1983 near her hometown of Clancy, Montana. She was playing with some children who walked ahead of her for a moment. This was at approximately 4 pm. When her companions turned around, Marshall had vanished. An unknown man wearing a jogging suit was seen in the area just before she disappeared. It is not known if he was connected to Marshall’s case.
In 1986, a person in Wisconsin sent investigators a letter saying that they had picked up “a girl named Kay.” The letter included details about Marshall’s case that had not been released to the general public. The writer explained that he had a good investment income and worked from home, where he taught “Kay” and travelled with her. He said he loved the child and did not want to give her up. The letter had a Madison, Wisconsin postmark so Marshall may have been held in that area.An anonymous caller who claimed to be the author of the letter called the Child Find Network, a missing children’s organization in New York, about Marshall’s case several times. The calls were traced to various phone booths, including one at a pharmacy in Edgerton, Wisconsin. There was also a possible sighting of Marshall in a restaurant in Janesville, Wisconsin.Marshall has never been located. The writer and the caller have not been identified, and it is unclear whether the individual(s) actually have anything to do with her disappearance. Her case is unsolved.Investigating Agency

This was a tough chart to figure out because I just wasn't sure how to read it. Nyleen was only 4 years old which makes her a small child and not really making her own decisions. She was playing with other children at the time, I had no idea where the parents were or if any adults were even present and because of all of this I was not sure which house to read as the chart ruler and where I would find her abductor in the chart. So I decided to take a creative approach and use several different markers to help me dope this out. I used the fifth house ruler, the first house ruler and the Moon. Because the time was said to be "around 4 pm" and this was reported by children, I decided to use a window of time to be sure. I started with a chart for 3:30 pm and went forward from there.
In the first chart for 3:30 pm, I see several markers that dovetail with the facts. The fifth house ruler and the Moon are in the third house, showing Nyleen to be on a path or road perhaps with siblings or neighborhood children. Neptune in Sagittarius implies an open area near woods or in a park and this works with the facts as the family was visiting a national park. Also note that the first house ruler, Venus, is in the tenth house, confirming that Nyleen was "out in the open" where she could be "easily seen" by others. The tenth house also describes government properties and this was a national park. The Moon in Capricorn also describes governments and government properties. The Moon is disposed of by Saturn in the first house with Pluto conjoined at the Ascendant. This indicates something violent, chaotic, oppressive and restraining. And then take note of the seventh house ruler, Mars, in the ninth house near the Sun. There is a person in the woods nearby that Nyleen is about to meet who represents grave danger. Mars is in Gemini conjoined the node, exactly opposite the fifth house ruler, Neptune, in the third. This person targeted Nyleen and his or her intentions were aggressive and possibly violent. Mars under the Suns beams describes grave danger and then Mars in Gemini often describes knives or other pointed objects, some that fly through the air. Sagittarius describes arrows and knives, as well. So there is an element of the hunter in this chart, somebody who kills for sport. Mars is disposed of by Mercury, the natural ruler of children, from the eighth house, conjoined to the node. He went out today to look for a child. This was his plan for the day. And since both of these planets are in the eighth house I am pretty sure that this person is a criminal, a person who lives on the edge, someone really "sleazy" as they say. He is no doubt a predator and his reasons for wanting a child are related to sex and death.
Events always happen and the scenario always happens with the angles change signs or the angular planets change signs. Here at 4 pm we see that the Ascendant is now in the first degree of Scorpio and Taurus is on the seventh house cusp. Venus, the seventh house ruler, is now in the tenth house. The first house rulers, Pluto and Mars, have each entered the twelfth and eighth houses, respectively. This is the beginning of a death pattern. The child was taken at just about this time, restrained and hidden swiftly. Pluto is conjoined Saturn which rules the third house and Mars is in the sign Gemini and both placements indicate vehicles. It looks like this person may have had a vehicle nearby and he hid this child in that vehicle. Pluto conjoined Saturn implies restraints. Libra, an air sign, implies a gag. And because both of these planets are disposed of by Venus, the seventh house ruler, and are placed in the tenth house, I would say this child was taken for immediate reasons and not for long term use, such as for resale, adoption or the slave trade. But there are commercial or business reasons for taking her. I think that Venus in Leo disposed of by the Sun in the ninth house describes photos or, at the very least, posing or performing. The Sun rules the tenth house and is disposed of by the Moon in the third while opposing the Moon in Capricorn, all of this describes a business or commercial interest, especially with Moon in the third house and the Sun ruling the tenth. The fifth house ruler, Neptune, can indicate child pornography. Neptune is in the second so there is money to be made. Considering that Mars and Mercury are in the eighth conjoined the Node, it's as if this is a regular practice. This is something this person has done before and since and spends a lot of time planning and executing each time.
The chart for 4:30 pm simply reinforces what I have come to suspect. The cluster of planets in the eighth house opposing Neptune describes the scene. The tenth house ruler is together with the first house ruler (Nyleen), the Node (course of events) and Mercury (the traditional marker for children) in the eighth house. These planets directly oppose Neptune, the fifth house ruler. This looks like rape or, at the least, molestation of a child to me. It looks like other children may have been involved, as well, and there may have been more than one adult but of this I cannot be sure. Mercury is in dignity in Gemini in the eighth and rules the eighth house cusp. If other children were not present at this time, there had been other children in the same place before. In fact, a lot of children, it seems. Pluto remains conjoined to Saturn in the twelfth, showing continuing confinement but also repressive aggression. Forced assault. Also, danger of death. These planets are retrograde, as well, which indicates confinement until death; retrograde planets in missing children's cases most often mean the child will never be seen again. Also, if you have seen my other analysis then you know that a clustering of planets like this in the eighth and twelfth houses, especially with one or another being an angular planet or chart ruler, can mean a death pattern is forming. But here other factors are at play. The Moon is in Capricorn in the third house and the fifth house ruler is in the second, which describe a financial situation that involves commerce or business. So although the death pattern means that Nyleen is certainly in danger of death, especially with the first house ruler under the Sun's beams, I think she was taken for another purpose and probably killed afterward. The eighth house planets seem to indicate sex and with the fifth house ruler being Neptune, which rules photography, I believe this commercial purpose was photos or films. In short, child porn. Back in the 1980s there was a popular trend in porn with the making of snuff films. The aspects make me think of something like this.
A few more notes. Venus rules the seventh house and it is in the sign Leo at the midheaven. This describes the making of films or the production of performances. Venus is disposed of by the Sun in Cancer in the eighth house so death plays a role in these films or performances. The Sun is hovering over the first house ruler, Mars, which shows the child to be in grave danger of death. Mars is disposed of by Mercury in the eighth, showing that she was chosen because she is a child. And the Sun being disposed of by the Moon in Capricorn in the third, which is a strong marker for commercial business and money making purposes, I think the death of the child was a part of the product they were producing. This idea is further supported by the disposition of the Moon in Capricorn by Saturn in the twelfth house. This may be why she was not killed right away but restrained and kept for a few hours while pictures were taken. They wanted her to die in the film. This again gives some credence to my theory that this was a snuff film.
In forensic charts when trying to locate the dead body the reader should wait for the death pattern to form and then follow Saturn. Saturn is always the dead body and the Moon co rules it. In this chart the Moon is in Capricorn disposed of by Saturn in Libra. Right away, this tells me that they took her body to rocky place high up in the air. This sounds like a mountain to me. But is this place near to the national park, inside it, or somewhere else?? For this, we look closely again at the chart for 4 pm, the time of the abduction. We want to discern which direction she was taken in and for how long and how far. Not an easy task but we can get close to it, even if not exactly. Here, the Moon and Saturn are going to tell us a lot. The Moon is in the third house in Capricorn, disposed of by Saturn in Libra in the twelfth. Saturn describes a black car while the Venus influence of Libra gives a gray interior. Capricorn describes a southerly direction while twelfth house gives us an east by southeast direction. So the best guess is they left in a black vehicle and went south by southeast. Capricorn tends to describe work vehicles or status vehicles so this could almost any kind of vehicle from a work truck to a cadillac. In this manner, we will have a problem narrowing this down. Aquarius is on the fourth house cusp so this looks like a place up in the air and with Saturn ruling the third, this is a rocky place. Restrictive access to a rocky road that goes up a mountainside. Hard to navigate. Rocks on the ground, fallen trees, ditches in the road. And old logging road perhaps? The road is old and in disrepair. But somehow they took her here to a home or residence.
Determining time is always tricky and I am not sure about my methods in this case but I would say they arrived at this place at around 5:00 pm. I say this because this is the time when Mars, the first house ruler, and Pluto, the first house co ruler, both trine the fourth house cusp. This is within a few minutes after 5 pm. So we can assume it is an hours ride from the park to this place? This is my best guess. An hour south by southeast from the park and up on a mountainside on an old road in disrepair that may have limited access. Because Venus is in the ninth and is disposed of by the Sun in Cancer, I would venture to guess that there is water in that area, whether it's a pond, lake or mountain stream. It would be a dry, airy and sunny place. I think they buried her nearby, right in the same area as this residence or cabin or work shed or whatever it is that they were using for this. And the reason I say buried is because Uranus and Aquarius usually describe freshly dug up ground, such as what you find with a grave, and graves are indicated by the sign Capricorn. Uranus conjoined Jupiter in the first house in Sagittarius indicates a deep grave in the woods and possibly other bodies there. Aquarius on the fourth house cusp (the coffin) describes both something in the air and something freshly dug up. She was probably buried on the mountainside. The twelfth house ruler, Venus, in the ninth house reinforces the image of a grave in the woods. And the presence of Mercury in the eighth in the sign Gemini again makes me think that multiple bodies are also buried there and that they are all children.
How can we figure out who did this? In forensic analysis, I always assign the seventh house cusp to the abductor and never is this placement clearer than at the time of abduction. So this takes us back to the chart for 4 pm. And here we see the ruler is Venus and that Venus is in Leo at the midheaven. This again describes someone in the film or performance industries, selling a product related to entertainment (Leo). Traditional readings for Venus in Leo, give someone who is tall in stature and slender, possibly with a beautiful body. This can mean a body builder, a model, a performer, anyone who takes care of their body in order to show it off. This might dovetail with the image of a porn star or someone who performs in porn films. Tradtional readings give a round or oval face with a clear, clean complexion. Also wide, expressive eyes that are used for emoting (batting the eyes, for instance). Also blue or light brown or hazel eyes. Gives light colored or reddish hair. Some freckling of the skin. In my own perceptions, this person is a ham, an egotist, someone who loves to talk about the self and loves attention. Dramatic, sometimes overly so, and loving of luxury and nice things. Would wear gold jewelry, would have a pleasant, attractive appearance, taking care of the hair and being clean and neat. Might have beautiful hair. This is as close as I can get.

Between 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. Monday, Aaroné Thompson disappeared from her home at 16551 East Kepner Place near Buckley Road and Mississippi Avenue.
Her father, Aaron Thompson, had called police at 2 p.m. Monday to report her disappearance.
"Police were informed she may have been upset with the father," Dudley said.
A command post was set up near the home about 8:30 p.m. Monday, and 10 to 15 officers searched an area close to the home. The search was halted at 3:15 a.m. Tuesday but resumed at 8:30 a.m.
The search area Tuesday was roughly between East Alameda Parkway to the north, Mississippi Avenue to the south, Buckley Road to the east and South Kalispell Way to the west.
Searchers went door to door, asking residents of homes, apartment complexes and businesses if they'd seen the little girl.
In the afternoon, the bloodhound picked up a strong scent of the girl in an area between East Exposition and East Mississippi avenues, police said. The dog lost the scent, but officers converged on the Settlers Village neighborhood, searching in large trash bins and buildings.
Police said they were somewhat frustrated because the family had not been helpful.
"The family is not as cooperative as we hoped they would be," Dudley said. "We hope that would change because time is precious right now."
He declined to explain how the family has not been cooperative, but noted that the photograph the family released of the girl is more than a year and half old.
Dudley also said there have been questions about the father, since he was the last person to see the girl.
"Any time you have a situation like this, when we don't have enough information, it goes back to who saw her last," he said.
However, Carol Rodriguez, 44, who lives next door to the Thompsons, said she saw a strange car parked in the family's driveway Monday afternoon, which she thought was unusual.
"They don't ever have a car in the driveway," she said. "You don't see a lot of people over there."
She said she saw the car, which she thought was a silver 2002 Alero or a Grand Am, sometime between 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. Monday.
"We left (on an errand) and an hour later, when we came back, it was gone," she said, adding that she had not seen the car before.

This case was email to me by a loyal reader that has emailed me many other cases in the past. I am always interested in cases that don't get publicity, that you don't see on Nancy Grace. I think there are way too many children that go missing and are far too quickly forgotten. However, this case has a huge, long story involved in it, including an indictment brought against the father for child abuse involving his other children and a tip claiming that the child was buried in a field nearby but the body has never been recovered. This little girl simply disappeared and no one is really looking for her now. She is assumed dead although the other children continue to insist she simply ran away. Is she dead? Or is she alive somewhere? Her family gave what I believe to be a crazy story about her disappearance, saying that this small child stormed out of the house after an argument over a cookie. Children often throw fits and make displays but they seldom go running off far enough away on their own to be a runaway at this tender age. 12 and up, maybe. 6 years old, I think not.
There is no doubt that something untoward happened to Aerone. She did not run away. That just doesn't fly with me, so I thought I'd do a chart and see what it says.
In this case, because the child is so young, I read the aspects as they apply to the parent. This child is not "in charge" of her situation, no matter how "headstrong" they say she is. When she stormed out, she could not have just gone off on her own and controlled the outcome as an adult would. So I will be reading the fifth house as her designator.
If you look at the chart for 1:30 pm, the time at which the father claims the child left the house, you will see that the first house is Pisces and the fifth house is Cancer. Looking closely you'll see that Neptune is square the Moon from the twelfth to second houses. This immediately verifies a conflict between the child and daddy. An argument or aggravation of some sort. The child ruled by the Moon in the second wanted possession of something and the father, ruled by Neptune in the twelfth, hid it to prevent access. This angered the child, no doubt. The Moon is also conjunct Mars, so the child may have acted out. But this aspect may also describe violence directed at this child, or any other child, in fact, because it involves the fifth house ruler. Notice also that the Moon and Mars are both disposed of by Venus in the child's seventh house and the father's eleventh. There was a woman involved in this, interacting with the child. Venus is in the eleventh house of the father so this is likely an adult that was a friend of the family.
I do notice that the first house ruler, Neptune, is in mutual reception with Uranus in the first, telling me that the father behaved erratically in this event and did something unexpected. This continuing mutual reception from Uranus to Neptune is a huge factor in many cases I currently see. It is a facilitator of events and causes strange things to happen, especially where either Neptune or Uranus rule the angles. Daddy has done something unexpected, that's for sure, but what that is is not clear. Venus is in good aspect to the fifth house planets to I assume there was female who acted as a "buffer", who calmed things down and even defended the child.
In the chart for 2 pm, Venus moves. The movement of Venus into the child's sixth house, shows someone is in a bad way and danger looms. This house also being the tenth house of the father, there is no way this child was not visible to him. She was out "in the open" and easily seen. But we must also note that Saturn has backed into the child's first house and that it is disposed of by the Sun in the eighth house. Ouch. Saturn is notably square to the child's ruler, the Moon, and to Mars, closely aligned. Daddy knew exactly where this child was; she was not hidden, out of view or "run off". On the other end, Saturn is squared by Jupiter, also in the eighth, and the ruler of the tenth house. Also notice that the Moon and Mars have now moved into the child's third house, showing her being put in a car. Interestingly enough, a neighbor reported a car in the driveway around this time and the chart is supporting that. Someone needs to find out who was driving that car. The chart seems to say that daddy knows.
In reading the chart, we cannot ignore outlying aspects like the conjunction (EXACT conjunction) from the Moon to the fixed star, Schedir. This always describes escape or "being set free". This is an interesting element added to this event and cannot be ignored. Another interesting element that must be taken into account is the status of the tenth house ruler. To the father's angles, the tenth house ruler is via combust way, showing that someone in the family was either in a bad way or directly in some sort of danger. Now, this does not mean their lives were in danger but financial situations can be dangerous, as well. There is emphasis on the father's second house and the financial cost of the child. Perhaps there were looming debts. That could be the danger that the aspect alludes to. Domestic violence is another danger that cannot be ignored; especially since, in this case, there are claims of such violence against the children. Other interesting asides I feel like addressing are the ruler of the fourth house, Mercury, being in fall in the ninth house, in the sign Sagittarius, showing the mother figure to be absent or weak and that the Node has moved into the father's first house, showing a coming together of sorts, a "timing" effect and perhaps even a plot or scheme involving others.
With all of this said, I am daring to say that these charts show the child dead.. and dead rather quickly. Was this an accident that was later covered up? Or was it discipline that went too far? Or was this a plot that was finally acted on? Perhaps she was already dead. A thought I must add here is that the tenth house ruler, Jupiter, is in Scorpio in the eighth house and square to the first house ruler, Neptune, which lingers in the twelfth in Aquarius. This might describe a drug problem. Did someone have a problem with alcohol or drugs? I am not saying this is so, I am merely pointing out that the chart alludes to this possibility.
By 3 pm, the Leo rules the fifth and the Sun is high in the eighth with Saturn lingering in the child's first house. I am afraid she is dead. The Sun is disposed of by the Moon conjunct Mars in the first house, the house of the father and the third of the child. I believe they took the child off in the car. She was either dead already or killed right away, not taken elsewhere and used for other purposes or kept. The Moon and Mars are in the father's first house and also in the child's third, so I am positive the father knew that the child went in the car.. but it's unlikely he went along because he was calling the police at 2 pm. In my mind, (excuse me, I am not pointing fingers) but a half hour seems an awfully short period of time to spend looking for a child before calling the police. He apparently knew, right away, that she was not coming back. This leaves me with a lot of questions. When you make note that, at this time in the event chart, the Sun in Scorpio is conjunct the fixed star, Unukalhai, the question of drugs pops up again. And this may be why, after only a short period of time, the police called off the search for Aarone. They may have known about the drug activity and/or the father's involvement.
This case is no doubt complicated and if you read the news you will see how far it goes. I am not sure the child died on this day, the charts show her dead but not exactly how and when she died. It is possible she was dead, as others have reported, for quite some time and simply moved out of the home on this day, accounting for the car in the drive. However, the car may have simply been a visitor looking for drugs or just a place to park. But it does seem convenient and improbable that the car was inconsequential. Although they have not found her body and have not indicted daddy for her murder, I believe she is dead and that daddy knew.. or was the killer. I cannot prove this. I am simply an Astrologer profiling forensic charts. So in the spirit that I may be nuts and the kids are telling the truth, we should be vigilant in looking for clues to the whereabouts of Aarone. Even if it means checking roadsides and fields for her body. So here is her picture for those of you who might be still looking out for this precious child. And, of course, if you see her or find out anything about her, call the number in the prologue above.
t was a route Lindsey Baum had taken many times -- a 10-minute walk down a densely populated suburban street between her house and a friend's.
But on Friday evening, the McCleary, Wash., 10-year-old left her friend's house for home and disappeared somewhere along the way.
"I think somebody took her," Melissa Baum said of her daughter, who was ready to enter the sixth grade in the fall. "I'm trying to constantly push away the bad thoughts."
Grays Harbor County Undersheriff Rick Scott said search efforts have escalated in the days since Lindsey's been missing from volunteers on foot -- still the most common tactic used -- to scent dogs, horses, all-terrain vehicles and helicopters.
"We're not ready to give up hope," Scott told ABCNews.com.
Baum said she last saw her daughter when Lindsey, along with her 12-year-old brother, Josh, headed out to Lindsey's friend's house in hopes she could get permission to spend the night at the Baum's house.
Baum said her children began squabbling over the use of Josh's bike on the way there and were stopped by a family friend who sent Josh home to end the argument. Lindsey continued on to her friend's house. When Lindsey's friend found out she couldn't stay the night, Lindsey headed for home around 9:30 p.m.
"When she wasn't home by 10, I started to get nervous," Baum said, adding that 10 p.m. is the curfew for her children.
She began calling Lindsey's cell phone, only to find that her daughter had left it plugged into the charger. Initially thinking that her daughter must have met up with friends in the neighborhood, Baum set out on foot to find her daughter.
But there was no sign of her. Eventually, her friend's parents joined the search by car. Baum even let her daughter's beloved German shepherd Kadence off its leash in hopes the dog would help find her. Finally, around 10:45 p.m., Baum said she called the police.
Baum described her daughter as outgoing, talkative and mature for her age. She loved to read and write and had big plans for her future.
"She insisted when she grows up she's going to be an author and an illustrator and a veterinarian," Baum said.

As I write this, this sweet little girl is still missing. Another case that has gone beyond the fabled "48 hours", which means it may never be solved. Or, as is the case too many times, it will only be solved by the discovery of this child's dead body. I don't want to sound disillusioned so I will give credit to the finds there have been.. Briant Rodriguez and Haylee Donathan, to name a few. But I cannot help but notice these are few and far between. Just because the media moves on to another big story does not mean these cases have been solved... or should be forgotten.
I don't like to do cases when they are very fresh because I like to give the cops time to do their job before I go putting my big foot in my mouth. But sometimes I just can't help but try, no matter what comes of it or what people say. After all, this blog is not about solving cases, that's up to the police, but it's about examining astrology charts to see if there is anything they can offer. And what great luck it would be if they did! So I am going to venture into this fresh case and see what I find and hopefully the chart will offer an answer or two.
The first chart I draw up is for the time when she was last seen, heading home along a familiar road. And if you look at the chart you will see what I see and it's startling. Capricorn is rising and Cancer is falling. Because Lindsey was on her own and expected to take care of herself, I am using the first house for her significator. The fifth house is often used but only in cases where: the child is under supervision by a parent or family member, the child is so young they cannot commandeer themselves, they are in the presence of a known caretaker or they have been taken from a safe place like a bedroom, which the parents or babysitter present. I make these distinctions to preserve the accuracy of the prevalent energies at the time of disappearance. Was someone else in charge or was the child on it's own? In this case, this child was making decisions and choices without the guidance or supervision of an adult. So I am reading her chart as an adult.
In this chart, the child is designated by Saturn, which is placed in Virgo in the eighth house. The seventh house ruler, or the person she is about to meet, is ruled by the Moon placed in Virgo also in the eighth house. This is a huge red flag! Notice also that the Moon is SINISTER to a conjunction with Saturn. This person is heading towards her, right on her path, and the implications of this are dire. Actually, the Moon being the co ruler of the subject, as well, it may well be that he or she FOLLOWED her and had already picked her out. The Moon is trine Pluto in the twelfth house, but the position is dexter, showing that violence was a part of the planning that went on earlier in the day. . The Moon will also translate the light from a conjunction with Saturn to a square with Mercury. Mercury is in the sign Gemini in the fifth house. Mercury in Gemini in the fifth house is a double marker for a child, indicating that this person (Saturn) was out looking for a child. This was no accident. He or she wanted a child. And looking at the eighth house, I would venture a bet that this was for sex (or money). The fact that he or she is a pedophile is supported by the disposition of Saturn by this Mercury in Gemini in the fifth. The whole purpose in this "expedition" was to grab a child. This is scary stuff, I know. But this is what this chart is saying.
The next chart, drawn for 10:30, shows the two of them are together. As the ascendants get ready to change, you can see that the Moon and Saturn are in the seventh house, together. As the chart is moving forward, I must point out a fascinating aspect. The Moon is collecting light in this chart. You can see that it is sinister to a conjunction with Saturn, which is trine to Mars in Taurus in the third. As the Moon closes on the conjunction, it collects light from the conjunction to a planet in a trine aspect and then makes the same trine aspect itself! What does this mean? This means that Mars, which rules the tenth house, represents a third person who is present in the home where this man takes the girl. This third person is on friendly terms with the child (Saturn trine Mars) but does not want this man to bring her along. The subsequent conjunction and trine from the Moon to both Saturn and Mars brings these two people together. Something is said, promised or otherwise compromised to get a third party to go along with this. Mars in Taurus is conjunct Venus, hinting at a partner (wife, husband, sister, brother, mother, etc..) to whom this other person must explain things. And because Mars is weak in Taurus and has no power in the third house, this person is the weak link in this event and could prove to be the break the case needs. This person is not comfortable with what he or she knows and could be made to talk. If you take the Mars and Venus placement back to the earlier chart, you will see they were placed in the fourth house. This indicates that they either live in the same home as the abductor or they were there in the home for some other reason.
So the Moon is cutting a powerful figure in this chart and exerting influence into every corner of the dial! She is translating light, collecting light and co ruling the first house, to boot. And remember that both the Moon and Saturn are disposed of by Mercury in Gemini in the fifth house, amplifying the fact that this event was all about a child; this person set about to get a child and Lindsey fell into the path. But then just after 10:30 pm, the Ascendant switches and the chart takes on a new light. It is now Aquarius rising with Leo falling. The seventh house ruler, the Sun, is also placed now in the fifth house, again iterating the interest in children. This chart is again reinforcing the idea that this person is a pedophile and the mission behind the madness was abducting a child. Interestingly, Uranus has moved into the first house. This double emphasizes Uranus as Lindsey's marker and must be thoroughly investigated. Uranus is in the Pisces, disposed of by Neptune, which is right at the rising cusp. Also note that these two planets are in mutual reception. Uranus is sinister to a conjunction, only minutes to be exact, to the fixed star, Scheat. This often points to death by drowning or, at the last, danger by water. The Sun, to note, is closing on an opposition to Phecda, a fixed star in Leo, which indicates sex addiction or deviant desires. Notice also that the Sun indicates our perpetrator and that Phecda is always disposed of by the Sun. Creepy. But what do the first house planets tell us about Lindsey's current condition?
Well, for one thing, the lineup at the Ascendant looks scary to me, as if she might die later on. I say this because Pisces is about to take over the cusp and Neptune will be moving into the twelfth. But Uranus in the first in this chart tells me that, at 11:30 pm, Lindsey was alive and well. She may have not even been aware of the danger she was in. With Neptune at the cusp, I think she was secretly planning something, like escape, perhaps? Uranus in the first and ruling the first house cusp tells me she is capable of something unpredictable, something surprising. But notice this: Venus and Mars, our secondary planets from the translation of light, are squaring Neptune at the cusp. These people are going to figure out her plan, "out it", so to speak, and stop her. But even so, notice that Jupiter is right there along with Neptune, saying an awful lot about this little girl. She knew how to make lemonade out of lemons, for sure, and she was staying positive and happy even as things did not go her way. She was cheerful, upbeat and did what she was told, always believing that fairness would take precedent and she would not be harmed.
Also in this chart you can see clearly that they are in his home. The Moon, which co rules the chart, is placed in the seventh and disposed of by Mercury in Gemini in the fourth. Mercury in Gemini is the single most powerful placement in the chart due to the exalted placement and again reiterates the idea of children. Very young children. There may have been other children in this home as well as Lindsey. Because Gemini rules the fourth house cusp I am tempted to say that the home they were in was mobile; they were probably in a trailer park. A little later on, at midnight, in fact, the chart has changed again. Pisces is now rising and Virgo is falling. Mercury has moved into the third house so someone has gotten into a car or has left the home on foot. Saturn square Mercury from the angular seventh house tells me it might be someone leaving the house with another child. This is supported by the disposition of Saturn by Mercury and the disposition of Pluto by Saturn. Neptune, the first house ruler, has fallen into the twelfth house. Pluto has moved into the angular tenth, showing displays of aggression or violence. Perhaps this child was removed from the house when violence was used on another child. Sun in the angular fourth opposes Pluto in the tenth, so this violence was caused by a man, an older man.
The trine planets in the translation of light pattern, Venus and Mars, are in the second house now, showing me that they may own this home.. or be the landlords. And the fact that these planets are square to Neptune, the first house ruler, tells me that they are not kosher with another child being kept in the trailer. Read: Lindsey. They do not want this person to house another child in the trailer and when they see Lindsey, they are not happy. This is the reconciliation that occurred during the collection of light. This person promised them that Lindsey would not be staying; that she was only visiting. This gives me the feeling that there were several children already living in this home... or the home was an adults only community. Consider this when looking for the girl.
Neptune in the twelfth is not a part of a death pattern so I must back off my first assertion that she might be killed. I do not see her being killed during the first night anyways. She was hidden in the trailer, perhaps against her will, and this is why I see her plotting an escape. She may have attempted to run off earlier and been stopped by the landlords who were just minding her in the way that all adults mind children. I don't think they knew... that she was there against her will. Most adults just think that all kids are trying to run off and do their thing so they don't freak out when a kid tries to "sneak out" or causes a commotion trying to "get out". How many of us have had to restrain our own child in acting this way? I do not think they put two and two together. So this child was kept from running off while the abductor promised these people the child would be taken home later, when, in fact, he hid her somewhere in the trailer and kept her. He may well be keeping her now.
So here's what the charts are saying. Let's see if it helps at all! This person came across Lindsey on her way home and directed her to another location. This location is most likely a mobile home, manufactured home or trailer park in a nearby location to the place she was last seen. Other people were present but did not pay much attention except to say the child could not be kept there. There was no reason to suspect the child was being kept against her will; Lindsey did her best to be calm and agreeable, seeming to enjoy herself. Any attempts to run off where kept in check by these people who thought they were minding a child of a friend. Another child was present but was taken off when the time came to get control over Lindsey. Lindsey was manhandled and commandeered into a hiding place and possibly restrained. She may well be where they took her even now and she was taken by a pedophile who wanted her for sex.
The 1 am chart has one more thing to offer me. Aries is rising and Libra is falling, with Venus and Mars conjoined in the second house. She is being kept among personal belongings, or in a place where belongings are kept. Jessica Lundsford comes to mind for me, with her being kept in the John Couey's closet for days while he smoked crack and raped her. This man was a convicted sex offender and he was able to hide the child from the cops, in the house NEXT DOOR from Jessica's. She was not found, buried under the trailer, until after Couey was caught on a tip in Georgia. Imagine something like this happening again. This chart shows this person spending a lot of time in the same place with Lindsey. I am not quite ready to say this is a man for sure, although I am leaning that way, but the chance is out there that a woman did this. Too many strange things happen these days to just assume anything. One last note, before I move on to the abductor, I must point out that the Sun rules the fifth house while being placed right at the nadir. This reasserts the suggestion that Lindsey was being kept in a house or home. And then noting that the Sun is disposed of by the Moon, placed now in the sixth house, it is safe to say that she is in danger and not very happy or well.
This perpetrator is signified by the Moon in Virgo. This is why I am reluctant to say for sure it's a man, because of the feminine qualities of the Moon in the feminine sign Virgo. Even in men, Moon in Virgo has an "old lady" quality. But remember that we are not referring to birth charts or natal positions here, we are simply going with the imagery implied by a forensic chart. In this case, traditional descriptions ascribed to the Moon in Virgo include: a person of medium stature with an oval shaped face. As with all Virgos, a broad forehead and a straight nose. The chin may be pointed and the hair is likely brown. The person is probably thin and finicky about health, fitness and eating habits. This would be a reserved, trustworthy, quiet person that no one would fear. May be a writer, a reporter, a craftsman or artisan by trade. Could also be a school teacher, a custodian, a gardener, handyman or maid by trade but can be found in many different areas of service, including health care, fitness training and nutrition. As I have already said, this could be a man or woman and the purpose of the kidnapping may be sex but it could also be about money. Although outlandish and unlikely, this could also be an "old maid" type of woman who has been unable to have children but who has a yearning for a child and took this girl for that reason. This person is small and not very strong, not often aggressive and seems harmless.
Lindsey Baum is currently missing and her family is desperate to find her. Details of Disappearance
Barter was last seen playing near the banks of Perdido Bay, Alabama at 9:30 a.m. on June 18, 1959. He resided in the 1700 block of Thrush Drive in Mobile, Alabama at the time, and had gone camping at Perdido Bay with his parents, some of his six siblings, an uncle and two cousins. He apparently wandered away from the rest of his family while his parents were preparing some fishing equipment. His mother began searching for him ten or fifteen minutes after she last saw him, but was unable to locate him. He has never been heard from again.
The area Barter disappeared from is swampy and infested with alligators and snakes. Authorities investigated the theory that the child had been attacked by an animal. They even killed and gutted two alligators to look for human remains, but found no evidence of such an attack. Barter's mother stated he did not like the water and she does not believe he would have gone into the bay voluntarily. An extensive search of the region, on both land and water, turned up no sign of the child or his remains. After the search turned up no evidence, investigators looked into the possibility that Barter was abducted, but they were never able to find any clues supporting this theory.
Barter's parents and siblings moved to Texas after his disappearance. His parents have died, but his brothers and sisters are all alive and still hope his case may be resolved.

This case was emailed to me by a loyal reader. Thanks to all of you who take the time to send me cases. I will get to them all eventually, I promise. But this is one that turned out so strangely when I read it that I am now turning it over to my readers to interpret. I will read the chart as I see it, of course, but lay it out for you to determine exactly what did happen here. In truth, the chart left me with questions, and, in fact, remains a mystery to me in many ways. Traditional readings shed uneven light and not everything is clear. You'll see what I mean as I read it. And I leave it up to you to decide what really happened to this boy.
The first chart I drew up was for the time at which Danny Barter was last seen, 9:30 am on June 18. Leo is rising, Aquarius is falling, the Sun is in Gemini in the eleventh house and Uranus is in Leo in the twelfth. When you are reading for a child, you take the first house for the parents and the fifth house for the child. It looks like the parents were enjoying themselves this morning with their children. They were "preparing to go fishing" according to reports and with their marker in the eleventh, that is very likely. They were doing things they wanted to do, even some things they had wished to do for awhile. It was a real vacation. Mercury and Jupiter both describe the child. Mercury is there in the eleventh, near the Sun, showing that he started out the morning with mom and dad. Jupiter is in the fourth house, near the Moon, showing again the child being close to the parents, the home where they were staying, and that Danny was clearly a close member of the family group.
The one outstanding aspect I must point out is the presence of Saturn in the fifth house. Saturn is retrograde in the sign Capricorn and it sextiles Neptune, trines Pluto and opposes Mercury. Since Mercury marks the child in the chart and the fifth house rules the child, we must assume that Saturn has a pivotal role to play in events that occurred. The trine to Pluto right at the Ascendant is important. The Ascendant is the parent's place and Pluto trining the child's planets makes me think that things were good between the parents and the child. Pluto also co rules the fourth house so this brings it into clearer focus, emphasizing it's influence over family events. And, then, to crown it all, Pluto is disposed of by Mercury, which is the child's marker. It just really looks like the kid did not go missing. I am not sure how these aspects will play out against the facts but I'll keep reading to see. However, these initial aspects seem to indicate that these parents will not lose the child for good. On another note, I notice that the seventh house is ruled by Uranus from the twelfth house, in conjunction with Mars and Venus. Now, this sort of looks to me like a group of three people who come upon the family by surprise, almost from behind, perhaps unexpected. There was never any mention of any visitors or neighbors dropping by so this seems odd. Venus rules the midheaven and Mars co rules the nadir, so it looks like these are relatives. Perhaps grandparents or aunts and uncles with or without children. I use plurals because I am not sure if it's either-or or both.
Now, there is an interesting twist in the 10 am chart, which has Virgo rising and Pisces falling with Capricorn still on the fifth. But notice that the parents have now acquired the child's marker, Mercury in Cancer, again emphasizing the familial tie. Neptune, which now rules the seventh, is in the third with the co ruler, Moon. I think these people have joined the parents outdoors around the home, either to "go fishing" or to do other activities. Like I said, these seem to be members of the family, extended or closer. Note also that Saturn, still the fifth house ruler, is in the fifth house, showing the child going off to play. He is probably headed to an area he remembers as a playground or an area where he has played games with other children in the past. This is where he ran off to that morning while they were preparing to go fishing. Saturn disposes itself so Danny was off on his own, he was not taken by anybody, coerced in any way or abducted. He was headed right where he wanted to go. Four years old or not, some kids can be very willful. Danny was a Sagittarius so he was adventurous, unafraid, loved the outdoors and wanted to have fun. One more thing I want to note in the 10 am chart is how the nadir is now at 1 degree of Sagittarius and the midheaven is at 1 degree of Gemini. Where these people that had joined the parents, the grandparents after all? It looks like these people are the parents of one of the parents. I have nothing to corroborate that, it's just what the chart appears to be saying.
In the chart for 11 am you can see the cluster of planets in the eleventh and tenth houses. This tells me that people are helping them look for Danny. They are all gathered around the parents. These are family, friends and even neighbors. The Moon is still in the third, joined by Jupiter and both of the planets are disposed of by Pluto in the twelfth. This describes the parents looking around outside, in the immediate area, in hidden places like behind bushes and over drop offs. They think he is hiding. But notice Saturn, which still rules the fifth, moving through the fourth house. Shocking as this may seem, this child has entered someone's home! It almost looks like the parent's home, or the home where they were staying, but this does not have to be so. The fourth house is ruled by Jupiter, which is placed in the third, describing a home in the neighborhood, perhaps along the beach or woods, nearby, in fact. Since the Moon is lingering there as well, again, I see that this child did not wander far. He was in the neighborhood, in another home in the woods, but very nearby his parents. Not far at all. Like I said, he may even have re-entered the home where the parents were staying!
Neptune rules the seventh and is placed in the second, disposed of by Pluto. This is a planet we will have to watch as the charts unfold. This may very well be the next person Danny meets, whoever it is that lives in this home. Or, conversely, this may have been an abandoned home that no one had been inside of in years, a place forgotten, that went out of memory. The disposal of Neptune by Pluto in the twelfth supports this last assertion, giving the picture of a place that is desolate, filled with pratfalls and possibly dangerous. Is it possible that Danny wandered into an abandoned home and gotten hurt or trapped? When you note that Pluto in the twelfth is trine to Saturn, it seems to say that something attracted the boy. Something dark and mysterious but alluring. Perhaps an animal in the doorway or a toy seen through a window or something shiny from within the darkness. There's no telling. Pluto is mysterious but dangerous and perhaps the child met some danger on his way into this place. Neptune in the second seems to describe something the child would like to have for his own; something like a toy, perhaps. Neptune seems to indicate that he could not clearly make it out and it was curiosity that drew him in closer. What he thought it was may not have been what it actually was but the chance that it might be was alluring enough.
So far, the charts seem to be showing me a boy who has wandered away from home into another home, a place nearby. But moving the charts forward to 1 pm on this day, a different story emerges, one that's hard to reconcile with the facts. Notice in the chart that Aquarius is now on the fifth cusp and Uranus is placed in the tenth. This is showing us the child out in the open and in the company of other people, shown by nearby planets. The first house ruler is now Libra and there is Venus, right next to Uranus. The seventh house ruler is Aries and there is Mars, on the other side of Venus. And oddly enough, the child's universal marker, Mercury is placed there as well. For all appearances, it seems that the child is reunited with his parents. They are all together. And these planets are disposed of by the Sun, which is nearby in the ninth house. They are all together outside, perhaps on the beach? Why, then, did the parents say that they never saw this child again? Or are these NEW parents, perhaps, or, at the very least, people who assumed the role of parent with this child? How then did the child end up with these people in such short order, after merely entering a home nearby? When you see the Moon in the second house in Scorpio, not far from Jupiter, it makes you wonder if money was involved somehow. Did money exchange hands? Was this the parents selling their child? Or was this a ransom for the child that was never reported and never met? Was the child kidnapped after all and the parents could not meet the ransom so out of embarrassment, they said the child ran off? And, again, another thought. Perhaps they gave the child to someone else who had more money than they did; or even to someone who needed money that they might receive for raising this child? These questions are all legitimate. What do you think the chart says?
Other points I'd like to make: In the chart for 1 pm, please note that the node is at the first house cusp. The exact degree on the first cusp is near square to Mercury, seeming to say that, at this point, it is unlikely the parents will see the child again. This should be measured carefully. It will give credence to the parent's story. Notice also that the cluster of planets in the eleventh, denoting the child and others, are in direct square to Neptune in Scorpio, now in the first. Was this an adoption gone wrong? Did someone promise money and then run with the boy? I know this all sounds like crazy speculation and I agree, that's what it is. Break out your detective's hat and work it with me. I do not have a pat answer in this case, too much of it is hazy and hard to read. I will not say the parents did anything wrong and from the aspects in the charts, it seems they had a lovely relationship with this child so I doubt they meant him harm. In fact, I do not see him harmed, there are no violent aspects here. He was not assaulted, raped, attacked, abused or mauled in any way. And I tend to believe that he was alive after this day and for quite some time later, if not still. And, so, what did happen to the boy? Are the parents telling the truth and they know nothing of his disappearance and have not seen him since? Or are they culprits in a scheme of sorts, either for money or just to get out a jam? Was the boy abducted and the parents feared for their lives? This is all conjecture but honest thought none the less. I'd appreciate help with this case, so if you have a desire to study it, post your ideas, readings and comments so everyone can see them. Help me solve this one. Danny Barter is missed.
Now, here is the real twist in this chart. Traditional readings give that if the fifth house ruler is retrograde and is in good aspect to a planet in the first, the child will be found. In this chart, Jupiter rules the fifth, is placed in the fourth and is retrograde. The Moon has just left a conjunction with Jupiter, the Sun, which rules the first, is inconjunct to Jupiter and the Ascendant degree, 26 degrees of Leo, is closely square Jupiter in 23 degrees of Scorpio and sinister in aspect. This has a marked WOW factor, showing exactly the aspects one would expect to find in a traditional reading where the child would never be found. But please notice that there are contradicting aspects, as well. Saturn is placed in the fifth in four degrees of Capricorn, in retrograde motion, and is closely trine to Pluto, placed in one degree of Virgo in the first. This seems to tell us they will see this child again. How do you combine these conflicting influences? If you measure each aspect by degree and placement, looking for debilities, dignities and such, you might be able to deduce which influence is actually the greater. But none of these planets or placements are in particular dignity or debility, save Saturn in Capricorn. And this planet is the one placement that tells us they will see the child again. And, yet, we KNOW that they never saw this child again.
Continuing the argument even further, on the premise that the time at which he was last seen is not the appropriate measure of events and only the chart at which time was KNOWN TO BE MISSING should be used, I move forward to the chart for 10:00 am. This is around the time they would have known the child was gone, if not earlier, in fact, because he was not expected to be going anywhere. In fact, the moment he went out of sight he was known to be missing. But allowing for preoccupation on the part of the parents, I move the chart forward a bit just to see if the new aspects fall in line with traditional reading. But this chart is even MORE concisely saying that the child will be seen again! Amazingly, at this point, Capricorn has taken the fifth house cusp, with Saturn placed there in 4 degrees. And the Ascendant point has moved forward just enough to place 2 degrees of Virgo on the first house cusp! This is a near exact trine between these planets, a traditional marker telling the reader that the child will be seen again. Amazing. Now, one can argue that the fifth and first house cusps are often in trine aspect, merely by their natural trine placement, but one cannot extend that argument to include a fifth house ruler. That's what makes this chart so exemplary. However, if you take the same fifth house ruler, Saturn in Capricorn and aspect it in relation to the RULER of the first, which is Mercury, you'd find an opposition. So which is it? What would you read? These aspects, traditional readings, and variables in these kinds of charts all merit much further study. Perhaps I'll tackle it on my other blog, the Tablet. Someday, no doubt, when I have lots of time to spare. For now, I ask you to lend me your thoughts.
