The six-year-old boy kissed his mother good-bye at 8 a.m. on May 25, 1979, and walked down two flights of steps into the crowded city street. The woman stood on the fire escape balcony, arms folded and patiently watched her son march toward the intersection of Prince and Greene Street.
She had just given him a dollar to buy a soda. His school bus stop was located only two blocks west from where he lived. This was the first time her son was allowed to walk the route unassisted. Prince Street is a tree-lined avenue in the SoHo neighborhood of Manhattan, which was undergoing a dramatic change in 1979. Originally an industrial area containing factories, warehouses and businesses, SoHo was being transformed into a trendy, much-desired neighborhood by young, upcoming professionals yearning to escape from the high rents of the Upper East Side. They came into the neighborhood with plenty of money and fresh ideas. They converted old manufacturing lofts into spacious, airy apartments. Broken-down warehouses became successful condominiums while abandoned factories became gourmet delis and trendy cafes.
The little boy with the big smile walked past storefronts carrying his oversized book bag. He glanced behind him to see his mom still watching from the distance. As the boy approached the corner, he turned his head. A wisp of fine brown hair blew into his face. Mother and son exchanged a brief, spontaneous smile. Beyond him, she could see a small group of his classmates waiting for the bus in the distance. She turned and went back upstairs to tend to her other two children. She would never see her son alive again.
The boys name was Etan Patz. Within the next few moments, Etan was stolen off SoHos busy streets. What actually happened to him and to where he was taken, remains a heart-breaking mystery. His fate, as of this writing, is still unknown. The Etan Patz case is the oldest, open missing child case in New York Citys history and probably one of the oldest in the nation. In 2003, suspicion irrevocably settled upon convicted child molester, Jose Antonio Ramos, 60, who is incarcerated in a Pennsylvania prison. In 2002, Etans long-suffering parents declared him legally dead and planned to sue Ramos in civil court. They did this to force him into a courtroom where they can ask Ramos under oath what happened to their son. Each year, on Etans birthday, his father sends a card to Ramos asking him, What did you do to our son?
Child abduction is the equivalent of a nuclear blast to a family. In many ways, having a child abducted and not ever knowing his or her true fate, like the Etan Patz case, is worse than the childs actual death. Etans father, Stanly Patz once wrote, In this crime, there was a beginning, but there is no end. This psychological limbo ensures the parents pain continues indefinitely. But thankfully, there are few cases as tragic as Etans. Most abductions, which this article will address, end with some type of finality. In some cases, it is the beginning of a life of grief to devastated parents.
Etan's case is still considered by the NYPD to be a cold case.

This case came back to me after a reader sent me the information. In 1979 I was a young woman who was not paying a lot of attention to these types of cases, being mostly concerned with the crimes committed against women my own age. I had my own concerns and only remember being vaguely aware of this child and his face on the milk cartons. I do remember, however, thinking that this was a good idea if it would help find missing kids. I did not drink milk and I still don't, being vegetarian most of my life, but I realized then that kids drink milk and their mothers are the ones who might see other kids when out and about so the exposure was in the right place. Anyways, this was a landmark case that brought nationwide attention to the plight of missing children, which, even then, was much larger than it should be. Who on earth is taking our children and why? It's a hard question to answer. So I was very intrigued by this case. Could Astrology give us insight into an unsolved case so old and heavily investigated? Let's see.
In the first chart, you can see what Etan is doing. Cancer is rising and the Moon is in the eleventh with Mercury. He is joining friends who are other children. This is exactly what was reported: he was heading towards a knot of children waiting on the bus. This little detail proves to me that this chart is viable. Now, the person he is next to meet is ruled by the seventh house, which is ruled by Capricorn and Saturn. Saturn is in the third within 8 degrees of the nadir. There was someone along the street there that was standing in front of housing units or other lodging. I remember New York City as having flats and step ups in various places along the avenues and in Soho, there were residential areas in the city along the streets. If there were housing or lodging units along this road, this is where this person was standing. On the street outside. This may be why it was so easy and fast for this person to snatch the child. One quick grab and in the door they go. But this is just another assumption on my part, which have often been proven wrong, so let's just go with the chart. It clearly shows that there was someone standing along the street in front of housing units or hotels as Etan moved towards the group of kids waiting for the bus.
The thing that gets my attention is the north node between Saturn and the nadir. This tells me that this person had sort of planned this; he or she had noticed that the children came along this route and that they were accessible and vulnerable there. There is no doubt that he or she had planned to take a child; whether or not they targeted Etan individually is unknowable. But Saturn is in Virgo and is disposed of by Mercury, the marker for the children, so it is an easy guess that the children were the purpose of this persons' being there. He or she no doubt planned to snatch a child. The Moon and Mercury, I must point out again, are closely conjoined, which indicates that perhaps any child could have been a victim there but that Etan happened to lag just far enough behind to be a target at the opportune moment. Another thing I must point out is the exact trine from the Moon and Mercury with the cusp of the eighth house, at 29 degrees of Capricorn. What does this tell you? Notice also that Saturn rules the cusp of the eighth house as well as the seventh, dovetailing the motivation of this individual. There IS a sexual component here; sex and death, they mix in the stars.
Considering this and looking things over closely, I note that both the Moon and Mercury are in conjunction with the Pleiades, the seven sisters. I have seen this fixed star configuration in the forefront of one violent murder chart after another. In fact, it was my ability to track it in the first of the Gainesville murders way back in 1990 that I knew that there would be more murders and that they would be on certain nights, at certain times. It was that well lit in those skies! And that case, like the case of Etan Patz, was destined to be a high profile case. So the Pleiades here, especially conjoined the Moon, sends up red flags for me. So does Caput Algol, the most violent star in the heavens, which is nearby as well. If I had one thing I would want people to do, I would want them to follow these fixed stars and not let their children or loved ones out of their site on days or nights when these stars were overhead, in the ascendant or near the natal planets. I am dead serious here. This chart has other markers as well. The Moon and Mercury are both under the Sun's beams so a child was in grave danger that morning, any child, not just Etan. Like I said, he happened to be at the right place at the critical moment and that's all. Although this was planned out, the target was unknown.
I must also point out that the chart is riddled with aspects to and from fixed stars. Geidi Prima, for instance, is in the first house exactly square Neptune in the fifth. This is a marker for rape. And then the fixed star, Manubrium, is in the seventh house trine to both the node and Saturn, which is the planetary ruler of the seventh. This fixed star points to the burning of bodies, arson and cremation. This may be what was done with Etan? I am not sure but it is possible. Now, looking back at the planets I note that the Moon and Mercury are both disposed of by Venus, which is nearby in the eleventh in the sign Taurus. Venus is in dignity and closely aligned with Mars. In turn, these two planets are in trine aspect to Saturn. This is a married couple who is nearby at the time, off to the side, perhaps, watching the kids, maybe even their own child as he or she boarded the bus. They may have been co conspirators, though, as the trine aspect shows facilitation. However, this could also be accidental. They may have distracted key witnesses at the time, allowing the abductor to abscond with the child unseen.
In the chart for 9 am, I notice subtle changes. The eighth house ruler is now Uranus, which is in Scorpio in the fifth house. Mars and Venus are now angular, ruling the tenth house / fourth house axis and both are positioned in the tenth. Jupiter in Leo is now rising into the first house and forming an angular square to Mars, Venus and Uranus. This is an interesting configuration. This is showing me a couple, male and female, who are parental type figures. The seventh house ruler, Saturn, is still trine to these planets as they move into angular positions, carrying over the relationship I glimpsed in the earlier chart. I am afraid I see a married couple or some other pairing of male and female and not a lone abductor such as the man who was claimed to have done this. It is possible this man, the confessor, was involved but there is no way, looking at this chart, that he did this alone. Pluto angular in the fourth, disposed of by the powerful Venus, points to violence and peculiar behavior in a home environment. The Moon is sinister to a square with Saturn which indicates that Etan resisted and there was an altercation between the boy and the man who took him.
The presence of the fixed stars seem to support the claim that Etan was killed. The charts do not specify his death on the same day as he was taken, which leads me to believe he was held for awhile before he was killed. This whole thing happened right there in the neighborhood (third house) and there are no markers for movement so I do not believe the child was taken out of the city. In fact, by 10 am, I see that the seventh house ruler becomes Uranus and this planet is in the fourth house, which indicates that all the activity went on inside someone's home. The movement of Uranus from ruling the eighth from the fifth to ruling the seventh from the fourth indicates the boy was taken for a sexual purpose and that this sexual purpose was acted out in a private residence; behind closed doors, so to speak. But none of this negates the power of both Venus and Mars, which continue to linger in the foreground. There were at least 3 people involved in this and there was more to it than a single man wanting to do nasty business with a child.
The chart for 10 am gives me a few more clues. The first house ruler has become the Sun, which is placed in Gemini in the eleventh. Etan's markers have never left the eleventh house and now it is disposed of by Mercury, which echoes the Moons' conjunction with Mercury in the earlier charts. This has Etan's markers consistently in conjunction with Mercury and tells me that Etan was not the only child there. He was with kids when he was taken and there were other kids in the place he went. I know this seems far fetched but this is what I see here. Etan was taken to a home (fourth house) where there were other children, either resident there or taken there themselves (Mercury and Moon in the eleventh). And here is the thing. If you take into consideration that both the Moon and Mercury are disposed of by Venus, now in the tenth, it makes a case for a woman again. In fact, the mother of these other children? Or is the mother of the abductor? Or his wife? The child's babysitter? It's hard to tell. But there is just no doubt in my mind that these people were co conspirators in this case and whether or not you believe this confessor did it, I feel confident in asserting that he did not do this alone.
There are still no death aspects in the chart directly. True, there are fixed stars that conjoin planetary players and this indicates murder, at the least, and possibly even sadism or mayhem. Caput Algol in particular is bloody and ugly. At least, that has been my experience. So there is no doubt that somebody died this day in some fashion but I am not sure it was Etan. Perhaps it was another child? I admit this chart is getting a little crazy and it's hard to read to some extent but I think what I see is accurate. This is what the aspects say. I must also point out that at 10 pm, the seventh house ruler is Uranus and it's position in Scorpio in the fourth is scary. Pluto is knocking on the door as well, just beginning to conjoin and then quickly cross the nadir. But the first house, which represents Etan individually, is clean except for a lovely Jupiter at the ascendant. The Sun, which is his current marker, is in Gemini in the eleventh. The Sun is sextile to Jupiter and sinister to a square with Saturn. Jupiter has no sinister aspects besides a wide trine to Neptune and waning contacts from Venus and Mars. So it doesn't look like Etan is in imminent danger and neither does it appear that he was killed right away. But there is one omen that hangs in the air: the seventh house ruler, Uranus, also rules the eighth, so there is some nefarious purpose stinking up the mix. But the Moon and Mercury are dexter and waning in their opposition to Uranus and the nearest sinister aspect is a very wide square from Jupiter. I just don't see that Etan was murdered at this time. This does not rule out his murder at a later date. Perhaps they just weren't finished with him yet.
Now, as I've proven in many cases, the least of which was not the Caylee Anthony debacle, that I can read charts for days on end and follow times from hour to hour. This, however, has not proven to bring further light to the cases I read. A quick glance at the charts for 11 am and noon show nothing more than day to day activities. At 11, the cluster of planets in Taurus all shuffle into the tenth, showing a possibility that these people moved outdoors or at the least, left the house. They may well have moved the kids at that time. Pluto rules the nadir and it is in the third at 11 am, which indicates they moved the home location. In other words, they took the kids elsewhere. Probably to throw off the dogs that were no doubt on their trail. (They weren't, actually. His mother didn't even report him missing until 3 pm, when he failed to return home from school but the abductors did not know that). The chart for noon shows Neptune moving into the fourth house so it can be assumed that they put these kids in a home that was very well hidden or the part of a home that was secret or disguised. The seventh house ruler is still Uranus and it has moved into the third house so it might be theorized that they were moving these kids into adoption or adopting them themselves. I know this seems strange in light of the confessors story and the assumption that Etan was murdered but the charts do not show this. In fact, the more you read of them, the more confusing the case appears to become. So I am just not going to run through a hundred more charts here on this post. But I do promise to continue to look at this chart privately and if I come across anything more of value, I will post it.
So this is the part of the reading where I really get silly. I will attempt to describe the person who did this and given an idea of where they took Etan when they moved him. Charts are capable of rendering this information, it's just questionable if I am able to read them right on these sorts of details. I realize that the case seems all but sewn up with a man crowing in a prison cell that he murdered this beautiful child but I will still take a stab at the charts. Saturn in Virgo would be the marker for the abductor and the couple would be described by Venus and Mars in Taurus. Because of the dignity of Venus and the disposition of both planets by Venus, I tend to think this was a married couple or two people very much in love. Traditional readings for Saturn in Virgo give a tall, thin man. He would be swarthy of complexion or even sallow (yellowish in tint). This does not describe Mediterranean or Asian people exclusively; many whites are swarthy and I, myself, have been deemed a "honey" or "yellow" complexioned white. So please do not read this as racial profiling. Overall long features, such as a long nose, long fingers, lengthy lip line, etc.. and a high forehead, a feature generally attributed to Virgo. Because of the earth influences, we would assume dark or dark brown hair and eyes. In character, this person would be reserved, rather quiet and seemingly very serious. He or she would also be extremely discreet and cautious, which would aid them in the commission of these types of crimes. The Mercury influence also points to an affinity for younger people and perhaps also children. On the darker side, Saturn in Virgo in it's purity can incline towards mental disorders and brain diseases and give tendency towards thievery and duplicity. Dishonesty may be at the core of the personality. I realize that this tends to describe, in general, every single child molester on the planet; I mean, they would have to be discreet and devious and serious about their business to even begin this evil activity. But this generally supports the idea rather than destroys it although it does not lend much aid in isolating this man. However, I suppose, interested parties could compare this traditional analysis to the man who has claimed guilt for this crime. Please let me know what you find.

Distinguishing Characteristics: Caucasian female. Blond hair, blue eyes. Merryfield fractured her lower left arm two or three years before her disappearance. She has a scar on her upper lip. She has multiple tattoos, including her last name "Merryfield" with an unknown date on her neck, a yellow rose and the words "Texas Born" on her back, and a cross with lines on her ankle.
Details of Disappearance
Merryfield's family was having problems in 1990 and she was staying with her grandmother in Killeen, Texas that summer. She had completed seventh grade at Manor Middle School and was due to enter eighth grade at Fairway School in the fall. She and her grandmother stayed up late watching movies on the evening of July 21. After her grandmother went to bed, Merryfield sneaked out of the house and went to visit her twin sister, who lived with an uncle two and a half miles away at the Oak Springs Trailer Park on Dimple Street.
Merryfield's sister says Merryfield arrived at the trailer park at 3:30 a.m., riding in a brown vehicle driven by two men, one of whom may have been Hispanic. Merryfield knocked on the trailer window to wake her twin up and the two girls talked for awhile. Merryfield left with the men in their vehicle after her uncle woke up. She has never been heard from again.
Many agencies classify Merryfield as a runaway. She took no belongings with her when she vanished. Merryfield may have traveled to the Cave City, Kentucky area after her disappearance. Her mother has since died, but her younger sister is searching for her. Her case remains unsolved.

This is another fascinating case emailed to me by a reader. It does seem strange that a 13 year old girl is off on her own in the wee hours of the morning and even visiting her twin sister without raising alarms back home. The really odd thing about it is that she appeared at the sister's house with two men who had not harmed her and with whom she seemed to be on good terms. At least, she wasn't afraid or her sister would have known it. I guess such assumptions color my readings to some extent but I try really hard not to rule anything out. I like it when I'm surprised, so I am keeping an open mind with this one.
But when I look at the first chart, the one for when she arrived at her sister's house, I see right away that the facts are born out clearly and my assumptions, at least on the surface, are correct. Gemini is rising, Sagittarius is falling with Mercury in the third house and Jupiter conjoined the Sun in the second. Now, if Jupiter and the Sun don't look like two men then I'm not an Astrologer! And what else is Mercury in the third but a child in a car? I mean, textbook stuff here. Mercury is also disposed of by the Sun, telling me that Deanna went along with one of the men and the other, Jupiter, which rules the seventh house, was a third wheel. This third wheel, however, will play a big part in the night's events. Jupiter is disposed of by the Moon, which is Deanna's co ruler and is under the Sun's beams. This man is a danger to Deanna; the child is in danger and doesn't even know it. Venus rules the fifth house and is posited in the first, showing that Deanna was the only girl among them and the only child. Both men thought she was cute and did not think of her as a child; in fact, they thought of her as a woman.
Now, I am sure you are asking me why I am using a first house layout for a child. It is true I rarely do this but this girl was off on her own, making her own decisions, calling the shots without input or oversight from a family member. Whoever these men were they were not her guardians. She was "in the driver's seat", so to speak and in that light appears as an adult in the star chart. However, just as a cosmic postscript, the chart has Gemini rising with Mercury as her ruler, telling us in a roundabout way that although she is the boss right now, Deanna is nothing but a baby. But here are the omens we must watch from here on in: Saturn rules the eighth house and is placed in the eighth house as well but it is not yet a player; Mars is angular in the tenth house and is closing in as ruler on the cusp and the Moon is sinister to a square; Mercury, the first house ruler is inconjunct to Saturn and sinister; Uranus is trine Mars from the seventh and Neptune is in loose conjunction with both Uranus and Saturn and also placed in the eighth. All of these are dark reminders that although this child went off willingly at first something happened along the way because she never returned and has never been found.
Deanna spent some time with her sister, a half an hour or so, so she did not disappear entirely until around 4:30 am, when she left her sister's home. The lineup here has most of the players moving into the second house with the node in the eighth. I am believing that these men talked Deanna into going with them to "earn some money". The Moon is still near to the Sun with the Sun disposing of Mercury, which is still the chart ruler. Deanna put all of her trust and faith into the man she went along with, both of them accompanied by a third man. This third man must have either had the car or been the one with the offer for money. Why else would they have gone along with him, when the two of them were like 'a team'? Yet, strangely enough, it is the man she trusted, went along with and had an agreement with of some sort (the Sun) is the man who poses the most danger to her. Misplaced loyalties. Who hasn't done that?
Venus is powerful and angular, being conjoined to the first house cusp, while it also rules the fifth and 12 houses. These men considered Deanna to be beautiful and indeed she did have feminine qualities that men found attractive. The fact that she was so young was also a huge enticement. And with these planets this way I am starting to smell a rat. Between 4:30 and 5:00 am, Saturn takes over the Descendant. It is prominently placed in the seventh house. It is in it's dignity and disposes of itself, making it doubly powerful. Notice also with the Moon taking over the Ascendant, then the Moon is the sole ruler of the chart and that she is still in the second house, under the Sun's beams.
It is my opinion that this child was coaxed to go along with an older male whom she thought of as a friend on a "money making" junket. Something like this: "we'll just be gone for day or two. We'll be back before you know it.. and you'll make a lot of money...". Juicy, no? Doesn't that sound great to a naive little girl who wanted to be a big girl? Her own money... wow! The thing that grabs me in this chart is not only that the Moon is under the Sun's beams but that the Sun and Moon are in mutual reception. This tells me that this little girl went along of her own accord, agreed to the scheme the men had hatched and had no idea that the man she trusted was a huge danger to her. At 4:30 am, the node is in the eighth house, Pisces rules the midheaven with Neptune in the seventh, near Uranus; Pluto is in the fifth and Venus is at the Ascendant. The out of sign conjunction from the Moon to the Sun tells me that this man was not related to Deanna; this was someone she knew outside of the family and perhaps was not known to anyone else. But the overall pattern here is clear; she went along with this men to make some money and I think the object was her attractiveness and youth. Neptune on the tenth often describes photography for me, especially with Venus at the Ascendant, which describes modeling. They told this girl they were going to make some money taking pictures and she liked that idea. But notice that both the eighth and the seventh house cusps are ruled by Saturn in Capricorn, placed near the cusp.
At some point before 5 am, Deanna was introduced to a third man. This man was older, rougher and totally unknown to her. This was the man who was "going to pay her" or "take the pictures" or "make her famous" or whatever other rot they told her. And this seems to play well for several hours, as the charts simply say they are together and doing something while Deanna still appears to be alright. But just before 7 am, the charts take a sinister turn and things get ugly. Aries takes the midheaven with Mars in the tenth squaring the Moon right at the Ascendant. Notice that Leo is rising and the Sun in Cancer falls just inside the twelfth at the same time. The seventh house ruler is now Uranus, which is in the sixth house. Heck, this is just a job to these guys; work that needs to be done. But at some point, they try to make her do things she doesn't want to do. This is "all in a day's work" by Mars in the tenth and Uranus in the sixth, but Deanna does not want to comply. The violence that ensues is enough to kill her. Seriously. Mars squares the Moon at the first house cusp as the chart ruler passes into the eighth. The Moon follows the Sun into the eighth house shortly thereafter, still under the Sun's beams. This altercation occurred between Deanna and the very man she came there with. In the course of "making money", when Deanna resisted he flipped out and pushed her or hit her or shoved her too hard.
Other aspects to note are Pluto being via combust way, the Moon is combust as well as under the Sun's beams, Jupiter is also under the Sun's beams, taking any joy or enjoyment out of the events that occur. The Moon is closing in on the fixed star, Asellus, an indicator of death by shooting. Asellus also describes sleazy, criminal people who are basically evil. So Deanna befriended some man who had designs on her and never told her family. Sound familiar? What 13 year old girl doesn't think she knows everything? And what she doesn't know puts her in danger all the time. The prominence of Venus in the early contact charts show that she was flattered by the attention; these men thought she was pretty and she liked that. But to be honest with you I have no idea where they took her and there is no indicator of location when she is killed. They are not "in a home" or "at a school" or "in the woods", etc... What I do see is the group of them huddled together somewhere, in fact a place Deanna either knew of already or had heard enough of to feel familiar there. The prominence of the Moon and the sign Cancer indicates that it was near the water. The exchange between the Sun and Moon makes me think of the beach because the imagery is of sunbathing or being in the sun near the water.
The placement of the ruling planets in the sign Leo make me think that Deanna was told she would be "a star", that she would acheive recognition and applause for her "work". She had a chance to "shine" and get attention. But Mars in Taurus comes to describe the actual work with Mars disposed of by Venus and Mars in the tenth. Mars in Taurus is square to the Leo planets, showing that the actual work was something Deanna did not want to do. A change of heart, in a way. Or perhaps she was shocked by what they wanted and refused. However and whatever happened, she began to resist and they ended up killing her in the process of forcing her. And so it is that the chart is telling us that Deanna is dead; she was killed the very same night she disappeared. And it was not a part of the plan. If anyone is still trying to find the man who did this, then they need to look in Deanna's close circle of friends and ask questions. Did she ever talk about an older "boyfriend" or a "secret friend" or a "man she knew"? She kept this from her parents in the way that all "know it all" teenage girls do but she may have bragged to kids in school or among her friends.
I will give one more thought to this case. The man who she trusted so much and went with that night, only to end up dead, is described by Jupiter in Cancer. This means he is an average sized man who tends to be chubby. He would have an oval face with curly hair, probably brunette. He could be a fire sign with expressive hazel eyes (I am thinking Sagittarius). He could be broad shouldered and thick, strong as an ox. Overall, he seems sympathetic and compassionate, easy going and gentle. He may also be conceited and somewhat arrogant, fond of flirting and having the attention of women. He may have had success seducing girls this way in the past and thought Deanna was a good target. Jupiter in Cancer often defines pleasure and joy around children and this could translate to more sexual attractions if the fire sign planets in the natal are adverse to Jupiter, the sign Cancer or the transiting placement of Jupiter in Cancer. It is my belief, from the charts, that this all occurred somewhere near the water and that Deanna was disposed of near the water. Saturn in Capricorn retrograde at the angles and ruling the eighth house for much of the evening, I would say that she would be nothing but bones when she is discovered. The ephemeris shows Saturn remaining retrograde for another 60 days. Since it is in a cardinal sign in a succeedent house, it makes this a matter of years. So she will not be found for quite some time, if ever.
t was a route Lindsey Baum had taken many times -- a 10-minute walk down a densely populated suburban street between her house and a friend's.
But on Friday evening, the McCleary, Wash., 10-year-old left her friend's house for home and disappeared somewhere along the way.
"I think somebody took her," Melissa Baum said of her daughter, who was ready to enter the sixth grade in the fall. "I'm trying to constantly push away the bad thoughts."
Grays Harbor County Undersheriff Rick Scott said search efforts have escalated in the days since Lindsey's been missing from volunteers on foot -- still the most common tactic used -- to scent dogs, horses, all-terrain vehicles and helicopters.
"We're not ready to give up hope," Scott told ABCNews.com.
Baum said she last saw her daughter when Lindsey, along with her 12-year-old brother, Josh, headed out to Lindsey's friend's house in hopes she could get permission to spend the night at the Baum's house.
Baum said her children began squabbling over the use of Josh's bike on the way there and were stopped by a family friend who sent Josh home to end the argument. Lindsey continued on to her friend's house. When Lindsey's friend found out she couldn't stay the night, Lindsey headed for home around 9:30 p.m.
"When she wasn't home by 10, I started to get nervous," Baum said, adding that 10 p.m. is the curfew for her children.
She began calling Lindsey's cell phone, only to find that her daughter had left it plugged into the charger. Initially thinking that her daughter must have met up with friends in the neighborhood, Baum set out on foot to find her daughter.
But there was no sign of her. Eventually, her friend's parents joined the search by car. Baum even let her daughter's beloved German shepherd Kadence off its leash in hopes the dog would help find her. Finally, around 10:45 p.m., Baum said she called the police.
Baum described her daughter as outgoing, talkative and mature for her age. She loved to read and write and had big plans for her future.
"She insisted when she grows up she's going to be an author and an illustrator and a veterinarian," Baum said.

As I write this, this sweet little girl is still missing. Another case that has gone beyond the fabled "48 hours", which means it may never be solved. Or, as is the case too many times, it will only be solved by the discovery of this child's dead body. I don't want to sound disillusioned so I will give credit to the finds there have been.. Briant Rodriguez and Haylee Donathan, to name a few. But I cannot help but notice these are few and far between. Just because the media moves on to another big story does not mean these cases have been solved... or should be forgotten.
I don't like to do cases when they are very fresh because I like to give the cops time to do their job before I go putting my big foot in my mouth. But sometimes I just can't help but try, no matter what comes of it or what people say. After all, this blog is not about solving cases, that's up to the police, but it's about examining astrology charts to see if there is anything they can offer. And what great luck it would be if they did! So I am going to venture into this fresh case and see what I find and hopefully the chart will offer an answer or two.
The first chart I draw up is for the time when she was last seen, heading home along a familiar road. And if you look at the chart you will see what I see and it's startling. Capricorn is rising and Cancer is falling. Because Lindsey was on her own and expected to take care of herself, I am using the first house for her significator. The fifth house is often used but only in cases where: the child is under supervision by a parent or family member, the child is so young they cannot commandeer themselves, they are in the presence of a known caretaker or they have been taken from a safe place like a bedroom, which the parents or babysitter present. I make these distinctions to preserve the accuracy of the prevalent energies at the time of disappearance. Was someone else in charge or was the child on it's own? In this case, this child was making decisions and choices without the guidance or supervision of an adult. So I am reading her chart as an adult.
In this chart, the child is designated by Saturn, which is placed in Virgo in the eighth house. The seventh house ruler, or the person she is about to meet, is ruled by the Moon placed in Virgo also in the eighth house. This is a huge red flag! Notice also that the Moon is SINISTER to a conjunction with Saturn. This person is heading towards her, right on her path, and the implications of this are dire. Actually, the Moon being the co ruler of the subject, as well, it may well be that he or she FOLLOWED her and had already picked her out. The Moon is trine Pluto in the twelfth house, but the position is dexter, showing that violence was a part of the planning that went on earlier in the day. . The Moon will also translate the light from a conjunction with Saturn to a square with Mercury. Mercury is in the sign Gemini in the fifth house. Mercury in Gemini in the fifth house is a double marker for a child, indicating that this person (Saturn) was out looking for a child. This was no accident. He or she wanted a child. And looking at the eighth house, I would venture a bet that this was for sex (or money). The fact that he or she is a pedophile is supported by the disposition of Saturn by this Mercury in Gemini in the fifth. The whole purpose in this "expedition" was to grab a child. This is scary stuff, I know. But this is what this chart is saying.
The next chart, drawn for 10:30, shows the two of them are together. As the ascendants get ready to change, you can see that the Moon and Saturn are in the seventh house, together. As the chart is moving forward, I must point out a fascinating aspect. The Moon is collecting light in this chart. You can see that it is sinister to a conjunction with Saturn, which is trine to Mars in Taurus in the third. As the Moon closes on the conjunction, it collects light from the conjunction to a planet in a trine aspect and then makes the same trine aspect itself! What does this mean? This means that Mars, which rules the tenth house, represents a third person who is present in the home where this man takes the girl. This third person is on friendly terms with the child (Saturn trine Mars) but does not want this man to bring her along. The subsequent conjunction and trine from the Moon to both Saturn and Mars brings these two people together. Something is said, promised or otherwise compromised to get a third party to go along with this. Mars in Taurus is conjunct Venus, hinting at a partner (wife, husband, sister, brother, mother, etc..) to whom this other person must explain things. And because Mars is weak in Taurus and has no power in the third house, this person is the weak link in this event and could prove to be the break the case needs. This person is not comfortable with what he or she knows and could be made to talk. If you take the Mars and Venus placement back to the earlier chart, you will see they were placed in the fourth house. This indicates that they either live in the same home as the abductor or they were there in the home for some other reason.
So the Moon is cutting a powerful figure in this chart and exerting influence into every corner of the dial! She is translating light, collecting light and co ruling the first house, to boot. And remember that both the Moon and Saturn are disposed of by Mercury in Gemini in the fifth house, amplifying the fact that this event was all about a child; this person set about to get a child and Lindsey fell into the path. But then just after 10:30 pm, the Ascendant switches and the chart takes on a new light. It is now Aquarius rising with Leo falling. The seventh house ruler, the Sun, is also placed now in the fifth house, again iterating the interest in children. This chart is again reinforcing the idea that this person is a pedophile and the mission behind the madness was abducting a child. Interestingly, Uranus has moved into the first house. This double emphasizes Uranus as Lindsey's marker and must be thoroughly investigated. Uranus is in the Pisces, disposed of by Neptune, which is right at the rising cusp. Also note that these two planets are in mutual reception. Uranus is sinister to a conjunction, only minutes to be exact, to the fixed star, Scheat. This often points to death by drowning or, at the last, danger by water. The Sun, to note, is closing on an opposition to Phecda, a fixed star in Leo, which indicates sex addiction or deviant desires. Notice also that the Sun indicates our perpetrator and that Phecda is always disposed of by the Sun. Creepy. But what do the first house planets tell us about Lindsey's current condition?
Well, for one thing, the lineup at the Ascendant looks scary to me, as if she might die later on. I say this because Pisces is about to take over the cusp and Neptune will be moving into the twelfth. But Uranus in the first in this chart tells me that, at 11:30 pm, Lindsey was alive and well. She may have not even been aware of the danger she was in. With Neptune at the cusp, I think she was secretly planning something, like escape, perhaps? Uranus in the first and ruling the first house cusp tells me she is capable of something unpredictable, something surprising. But notice this: Venus and Mars, our secondary planets from the translation of light, are squaring Neptune at the cusp. These people are going to figure out her plan, "out it", so to speak, and stop her. But even so, notice that Jupiter is right there along with Neptune, saying an awful lot about this little girl. She knew how to make lemonade out of lemons, for sure, and she was staying positive and happy even as things did not go her way. She was cheerful, upbeat and did what she was told, always believing that fairness would take precedent and she would not be harmed.
Also in this chart you can see clearly that they are in his home. The Moon, which co rules the chart, is placed in the seventh and disposed of by Mercury in Gemini in the fourth. Mercury in Gemini is the single most powerful placement in the chart due to the exalted placement and again reiterates the idea of children. Very young children. There may have been other children in this home as well as Lindsey. Because Gemini rules the fourth house cusp I am tempted to say that the home they were in was mobile; they were probably in a trailer park. A little later on, at midnight, in fact, the chart has changed again. Pisces is now rising and Virgo is falling. Mercury has moved into the third house so someone has gotten into a car or has left the home on foot. Saturn square Mercury from the angular seventh house tells me it might be someone leaving the house with another child. This is supported by the disposition of Saturn by Mercury and the disposition of Pluto by Saturn. Neptune, the first house ruler, has fallen into the twelfth house. Pluto has moved into the angular tenth, showing displays of aggression or violence. Perhaps this child was removed from the house when violence was used on another child. Sun in the angular fourth opposes Pluto in the tenth, so this violence was caused by a man, an older man.
The trine planets in the translation of light pattern, Venus and Mars, are in the second house now, showing me that they may own this home.. or be the landlords. And the fact that these planets are square to Neptune, the first house ruler, tells me that they are not kosher with another child being kept in the trailer. Read: Lindsey. They do not want this person to house another child in the trailer and when they see Lindsey, they are not happy. This is the reconciliation that occurred during the collection of light. This person promised them that Lindsey would not be staying; that she was only visiting. This gives me the feeling that there were several children already living in this home... or the home was an adults only community. Consider this when looking for the girl.
Neptune in the twelfth is not a part of a death pattern so I must back off my first assertion that she might be killed. I do not see her being killed during the first night anyways. She was hidden in the trailer, perhaps against her will, and this is why I see her plotting an escape. She may have attempted to run off earlier and been stopped by the landlords who were just minding her in the way that all adults mind children. I don't think they knew... that she was there against her will. Most adults just think that all kids are trying to run off and do their thing so they don't freak out when a kid tries to "sneak out" or causes a commotion trying to "get out". How many of us have had to restrain our own child in acting this way? I do not think they put two and two together. So this child was kept from running off while the abductor promised these people the child would be taken home later, when, in fact, he hid her somewhere in the trailer and kept her. He may well be keeping her now.
So here's what the charts are saying. Let's see if it helps at all! This person came across Lindsey on her way home and directed her to another location. This location is most likely a mobile home, manufactured home or trailer park in a nearby location to the place she was last seen. Other people were present but did not pay much attention except to say the child could not be kept there. There was no reason to suspect the child was being kept against her will; Lindsey did her best to be calm and agreeable, seeming to enjoy herself. Any attempts to run off where kept in check by these people who thought they were minding a child of a friend. Another child was present but was taken off when the time came to get control over Lindsey. Lindsey was manhandled and commandeered into a hiding place and possibly restrained. She may well be where they took her even now and she was taken by a pedophile who wanted her for sex.
The 1 am chart has one more thing to offer me. Aries is rising and Libra is falling, with Venus and Mars conjoined in the second house. She is being kept among personal belongings, or in a place where belongings are kept. Jessica Lundsford comes to mind for me, with her being kept in the John Couey's closet for days while he smoked crack and raped her. This man was a convicted sex offender and he was able to hide the child from the cops, in the house NEXT DOOR from Jessica's. She was not found, buried under the trailer, until after Couey was caught on a tip in Georgia. Imagine something like this happening again. This chart shows this person spending a lot of time in the same place with Lindsey. I am not quite ready to say this is a man for sure, although I am leaning that way, but the chance is out there that a woman did this. Too many strange things happen these days to just assume anything. One last note, before I move on to the abductor, I must point out that the Sun rules the fifth house while being placed right at the nadir. This reasserts the suggestion that Lindsey was being kept in a house or home. And then noting that the Sun is disposed of by the Moon, placed now in the sixth house, it is safe to say that she is in danger and not very happy or well.
This perpetrator is signified by the Moon in Virgo. This is why I am reluctant to say for sure it's a man, because of the feminine qualities of the Moon in the feminine sign Virgo. Even in men, Moon in Virgo has an "old lady" quality. But remember that we are not referring to birth charts or natal positions here, we are simply going with the imagery implied by a forensic chart. In this case, traditional descriptions ascribed to the Moon in Virgo include: a person of medium stature with an oval shaped face. As with all Virgos, a broad forehead and a straight nose. The chin may be pointed and the hair is likely brown. The person is probably thin and finicky about health, fitness and eating habits. This would be a reserved, trustworthy, quiet person that no one would fear. May be a writer, a reporter, a craftsman or artisan by trade. Could also be a school teacher, a custodian, a gardener, handyman or maid by trade but can be found in many different areas of service, including health care, fitness training and nutrition. As I have already said, this could be a man or woman and the purpose of the kidnapping may be sex but it could also be about money. Although outlandish and unlikely, this could also be an "old maid" type of woman who has been unable to have children but who has a yearning for a child and took this girl for that reason. This person is small and not very strong, not often aggressive and seems harmless.
Lindsey Baum is currently missing and her family is desperate to find her. On the night of Friday, March 31st 2006; Brian Shaffer, a 27 year old 2nd year medical student at OSU went out with friends to have a few drinks and celebrate the beginning of Spring break 2006; it was his 'time out with the guys'. At around 9:30pm, the men headed to the Ugly Tuna Saloona, a bar located near the OSU campus. At 9:56pm, Brian called Alexis -his girlfriend- who at the time was visiting her family in Toledo, OH. He told her he loved her and that he would see her when she came back to Columbus; the two had planned on taking a vacation to Miami and were scheduled to leave for Florida on Monday, April 3rd. Shortly after talking to Alexis, Brian and his friend walked down to the Arena District in Columbus, OH; they stopped at the North Short Tavern and then went to Brother's, where they met with other friends. One of the friends drove them back to the Ugly Tuna Saloona, where they are seen in the surveillance tape at 1:15 am. The next time Brian is seen on cameras, he was outside of the Ugly Tuna, at the top of the escalator, talking with two girls; he appears to say 'bye' and turns towards the bar, he then disappears from the camera's view and has not been seen since.
Two years later, there are still no answers. Numerous searches have been conducted including the construction area by the Ugly Tuna Saloona, numerous locations close to his disappearance including help from Texas Equusearch and numerous search agencies in the Ohio area but to no avail. At one point, the police were looking for an individual seen on the escalator (the man with the orange sweater) - this has been ruled out and not considered linked to Brian's case. Conversations have been had with the 2 girls who were outside the bar speaking with Brian but they were not able to provide any additional information to help locate Brian. It truly feels as if he just disappeared but we all know, Brian is SOMEWHERE and needs to be located.
The two men arrived at the Ugly Tuna Saloon around 9:15PM and had a few shots. He and Alexis spoke on his cell phone around 10:30PM. Brian and Clint then left the Ugly Tuna Saloon around 11:00PM and walked to Short North Tavern and then to another bar around 11:40PM. By 1:15AM they were back at the Ugly Tuna where their evening had begun.
Brian can be seen in the grainy surveillance video returning to the Ugly Tuna around 1:15AM. He can also he seen on the foyer near the escalators speaking with some girls that Clint knew. He then walks out of the bottom right side of the camera and Brian Shaffer disappears into thin air.
By 2:00M its closing time. Clint calls Brian on his cell phone and it goes straight to voice mail. He goes to the men’s room and looks for him but Brian is not there either. Eventually Clint assumes Brian has left and he leaves as well.
Saturday, April 1st Alexis continuously tried to call Brian with no luck. The couple had plans to leave town for a Spring Break vacation in Florida that following Monday. By Sunday she was scared and knew something was not right.
One baffling aspect of this case that still perplexes law enforcement today is the fact that Brian could not be seen on surveillance leaving the bar after he had re-entered. Both bar exits are covered by cameras, as is the escalator in which you see Brian enter and leave and enter again.
Outside the bar, out of camera view, are stairs and an elevator that lead to the first floor. Once on the first floor, the only way out, without being seen on tape, would be through a service exit that leads to a construction site, with doors to the street.
Brian’s credit cards, bank account and cell phone have not been used. There have been no significant leads to indicate what happened that Friday night.
Today Brian’s father continues the quest to find answers and to find his son. After all, not knowing is the hardest.

Thanks to an astute reader who emailed me this case I was able to give it a shot. I had never heard of it so I am always grateful to readers who mail me cases from their area. In fact, I'd like to turn this blog into a "request only" blog, where readers send me cases from their areas with details I need. If you want to email me a case, always include the month, day and year they disappeared along with the time they were last seen and / or the time at which they are discovered. If they are still alive and missing, then the time at which they are last seen, within a 4 or 5 hour window is necessary. If they are dead, then both the time they were discovered along with the TOD, if known. If you have mailed me a case and I have not done it on the blog, it is most likely due to the window of time. I cannot do charts for events that could have happened over many days. It's just not possible to do an accurate or honest reading that way. Every day of our lives aspects exist that create danger and death; I mean, think about it, somebody dies every day, if not every hour of every day. So any given time can be read for death, but is it the same person we're talking about, or somebody else? This is a trick with Astrology and depends heavily upon specific windows of time. So remember that when sending me cases.
One more thing I would like to add. I did a chart for Cari, by request, but she did not give me an email address to which to send the chart. So I can't get it to her! Cari LW, if you are reading this, then email me!! I have your chart.
And now, for Brian Shaffer. In regards to this case, anyone who has been bars where students gather, it can be said that closing time is always dangerous. Everyone is looking to hook up and the drinking keeps people from being as careful as they should be. In this case, we have Brian returning to an earlier spot just before closing to end the night. The cameras have him entering the bar and then the trail goes cold. There is no record of him leaving the bar so what happened to Brian? This one makes me feel like I'm Nancy Drew; this one looks impossible to solve. So the first chart I draw up for Brian is for that last time he was seen, on the camera entering the bar at 1:15 am. Right away, I note that Sagittarius is rising and Jupiter is in the tenth. This echoes the fact that he was right out in the open, where he could be seen by anyone and, in fact, was seen. Notice also that Gemini is on the seventh cusp while Mercury is in the second house, crossing into the third. He was actually seen speaking to people who were leaving the bar as he went back in. Mercury's movement shows us people leaving an enclosed area to step outside, in a parking lot or neighborhood, both defined by Mercury and the sign Gemini. Probably headed to their cars (Gemini again). Mercury was in Pisces, disposed of by Neptune, so perhaps some of these people had been drinking or using drugs and were impaired. Overall, this chart could be not be clearer nor simpler to read. He was outside, speaking to people who were leaving the bar as he went back in.
But you must admit that it is fascinating that this young man, who was seen on camera one minute, disappears forever in the next. But, the charts expound on this as you move them forward. Within 15 minutes, at 1:30 am, Capricorn moves onto the Ascendant and Saturn is in the seventh house. He has been joined by someone else. Who is this person? Looking at the seventh house, Cancer is on the cusp and the Moon is ruling from the fourth. This person works at the bar. I know this because the fourth house is the tenth house for the seventh, showing someone at their job or career position. This person is prominent at the bar, perhaps an owner, operator, bartender, bouncer, promoter or performer. Ruled by the Moon, with the Moon in Taurus, this might be someone who is involved in the day to day operations of the bar and might be responsible for handling money or accounting for transactions. Or he or she may have been involved in the preparation of food, if food was served here. Saturn is Brian's marker and it is in the sign Leo. It is disposed of by the Sun in Aries in the third house. This hints that Brian left the bar with this employee and that they left through an employee exit. I am curious to ask, considering the chart, if there might have been a wine cellar beneath the bar or an underground storage area or business office. And if there were cameras at employee exits and if anyone has viewed the films from those cameras.
Another aspect I must point out is that the Moon is disposed of by Venus in the second house, conjoined there with Neptune. Was this employee also a drug dealer? If Brian was resistant to drugs and would not have gone anywhere for this reason, then perhaps he was offered money? Or perhaps he was offered something else for sale? What would have motivated Brian to leave the bar with this person? If it was not drugs, then someone was conned. Something shady and possibly illegal is implicated with Neptune in the second house. He may have been led away by a lie and then robbed. Theft is a possible motive. Perhaps he was asked to help a sick person? He was a medical student; was a "hero" type? Neptune and Uranus are in mutual reception so there was a lot of unexpected twists and turns in the events as they transpired this night. Moon in Taurus is also square to Neptune, which again hints at the possibility that someone got ripped off or hustled; perhaps things were promised that could not be delivered? Another important aspect that runs through the evening is the trine from the transiting node in Aries to Saturn in Leo. Since Saturn is Brian's marker, this is a symbol of "kismet" to me, a sign that this event occurred for a bigger reason. Brian's disappearance (or death, if that happened) would be "fated" in a way, or, predestined, if you are so inclined. His marker trining the north node also whispers that "things went as planned". Not a good feeling for those who are looking for Brian and wishing for his return. But comfort should always be found in the knowledge that things are as they should be.. or, in other words, working within God's plan.
All of the charts I run up until now show that Brian was still alive, fine, and went along of his own accord. He was not kidnapped, restrained or forced. Pluto does cross the ascendant, but this happens early on before he disappears. However, it might have a meaning in that regard, from the possibility that there was anger aroused by someone in his company hours before he was last seen.. but that is not a given. There are no aspects involving Mars or the eighth house ruler and no forward planets that point to violence.. or death, for that matter. So far, I see no sign that Brian died or is dead. But I do keep seeing Neptune in a prominent place throughout the night and this does call for attention. Saturn, Brian's marker, is also retrograde, which is a sign that can't be ignored. When the ruler of the party is retrograde it is a planetary sign that he will not be seen again, or at the very least, not for a very long time indeed. Neptune in the first points to deception and fraud. Neptune is conjoined Venus, which rules the fourth house, and this seems to say that the ruse was played on family or involved a family in some way. But from my knowledge, Brian had a girlfriend he loved dearly and had a father and a brother left, who are all still searching for him. Unless, of course, Brian had another family? Is this possible? Is there a woman somewhere with children? Or an ex wife? The chart does not say this clearly, but there are hints here and there. And I am not saying this is a sure thing.. it is just suggested by the chart that a deception was being played out and that it involved family... someone's family, not necessarily Brians. Just someone's. Beyond that, I am not sure what this implies. However, one must remember that this was April 1st or April Fool's Day and many cruel jokes are often played.
Watching the seventh house, in the hopes of seeing who he is with, I note that Saturn, Brian's marker, is disposed of by the Sun, which is in the third house. He is getting into a car. Every chart I look at shows that gets into a car. Along with this, I remind that Cancer rules the seventh house and the Moon is placed in the fourth. This is a sure sign that Brian accompanied this person to his or her home. The Moon seems to point to a woman but I won't swear on it. Venus rules the fourth house cusp so it's a strong possibility that either the woman lived in the home alone or was present with the men arrived. It looks like they went in someone else's car, not Brians. As another point of interest, I must point out the opposition between Mars and Pluto. At this point, this aspect has not come into play. But it is like a buried bomb; if at anytime these planets move into the foreground or end up ruling an angle, then this aspect will blow up and most likely in violence. So this is an aspect we must watch as the hours move the ascendant along. From the progressions I see that they get out of the car and enter the house sometime between 2:30 and 3 in the morning. And up until now, he seems fine and to be going along willingly. Moving everything far into the morning and drawing a chart for 3:30 am, I see that Aquarius takes the ascendant and Uranus moves into the first. Leo on the seventh puts the Sun in the second house, conjoined to the node. This is a sure sign that Brian is where he wants to be; he is there because he chose to go there. At this point, I see money coming into play again, as if this is where they discuss the cost or price of something. There is definitely a focus on money, as if they went there so someone could repay a debt or pay someone for something. However, it is in this chart that I first see a sign of danger; not a huge dark one, though, just a hint. Uranus, Brian's marker, is now conjoined Mercury which rules the eighth house. The eighth house cusp, in turn, is now moving towards a square with the transiting Mars-Pluto opposition. Not good. Not a guarantee Brian will die but scary nonetheless.
And then it is between 4:00 and 5:00 in the morning that the charts take a dark turn. The aspect I've been watching, Mars opposite Pluto, has moved into the fourth/tenth house axis. The ascendant moves onto Pisces and Neptune falls immediately into the twelfth. Saturn lingers in the sixth and Pluto's dispositor, Jupiter, has moved into the eighth. Brian is in grave danger at this point; the chart is beginning to form a death pattern. And a violent death pattern as well. Notice also that the transiting Moon in Taurus has just completed an opposition with Jupiter from the second house. It is also just beginning to square Neptune in the twelfth. This is an argument over money. Somebody didn't produce something they promised or someone didn't have the money that was expected. And Brian is killed over it. Mars in Gemini, Jupiter in Sagittarius and Neptune in Aquarius makes me think he was stabbed. Somebody grabbed a knife or other utensil and went at him in a fit of rage. It does not look planned to me. I can see nothing but Brian going along willingly, with no danger at all up until this hour. Notice how the seventh house ruler, Mercury, is conjunct to Uranus right at the ascendant. This was sudden, unexpected and unplanned. This person flipped out, grabbed a sharp instrument and killed Brian. It's that strange and yet that simple. Scary. And it looks again a lot like theft. I think they lured him there with the promise of something and he brought money. Then they killed him over the money. I do not think they planned to kill him; I think they planned to rob him, maybe knock him out. But they realized they could not do it without being caught if they left him alive, this man took things into his own hands and killed Brian right there.
And so now the charts have taken a dark turn and this makes me sad. I was really hoping, up until this last hour or so, that he had just taken off and would come back some day. However, with Saturn ruling the ascendant for most of the night and being retrograde in motion, it is traditional to read that as a "never return". Often, with that aspect, the body is never even found; this due to the rulership of the bones by Saturn. They literally remain buried so long they just disintegrate or end up destroyed by outside activities like backhoes, animals or fires. But I must also say that I hope his brother does not read this and if he does, he discards my findings because this is the worst part of working with these cases, when you have to say ugly things. I am only hoping to find out whether Astrology can be helpful in these cases, I am not trying to ruin lives. Perhaps Astrology is not helpful at all and this is all just another exercise in my own lifelong studies. Not every test in the lab comes out correctly. I really hope in this case I am flat out wrong. As always, I welcome other readers to view these charts and give a different story. I look forward to it. And with that said, I must move forward and see what else I find here, most especially who this person is who killed this young man and then consciously went about disposing of him in secret. This person is a murderer and must be brought to justice. And so I will make my usual sorry stab at describing the killer and then I will try to see where he left Brian when all was said and done.
At the time of death, according to the sky charts, Mercury ruled the seventh cusp and Mercury was in Pisces, conjunct to Uranus. By the way, these planets were right at the ascendant, telling me that this person looked Brian right in the eye and did not sneak up on him. This was a face to face fight. But Uranus here describes a person who is unpredictable and unusual. With Mercury, he may have been a very bright man but not always a good one. In fact, this placement is the marker of the brilliant con man or criminal who steals, sells dope and lies for a living and always stays one step ahead of the law. Pisces describes somebody fleshy and short, a little on the plump side, probably with dark hair and light eyes. Also I would say they have rounded, soft features. With Uranus, there is something unusual about this man; near Mercury, I would say he had odd looking eyes or a scar or other marking over or around one or both eyes. He may wear offbeat glasses and have an unusual style of hair. There is no doubt that there would be something standout about him, something that people don't easily forget. Because Brian went willingly with these people and he died in a face to face fight with this man, those looking for the killer should consider closely Brian's circle of friends. Most especially someone who worked in the Ugly Tuna or knew someone who did.
And then I move into the area of trying to discover what this man did with Brian after he killed him. I see in the charts between 5 and 6 in the morning, they put Brian in a car. They took him down the road and then pushed him out. This is shown in these charts by Aries on the ascendant and Mars moving from the fourth house into the third. Then by 6:30 am, Mars moves out of the third into the second. And it is in the sign Gemini. This means that Mars in Gemini ends up defining the area where Brian was pushed out of the car. This combination points at various kinds of places, such as, for instance, a library with a war memorial nearby or a cannon in a park in the same area or even metal statues right in front of the library. Is there a library in the area with these kinds of war memories or weapons displays? Perhaps a military library or a place where they store records of munitions? If not, then consider also a nursery or public gardens with herbs, onions, garlic or hops or red peppers. He could be buried in a garden with these types of plantings. Other areas where he may have been taken include a mountain where there is a mineral mine, he might be left in an abandoned mine shaft. Also consider a military operated laboratory with scientific instruments, if there is a military base nearby that does research. Other places that should be considered are tennis or badminton courts in a park area with outdoor grills or fire pits; there might also be a gun or archery range. And then the simplest of all: a large field with red blooms; bright red eye catching flowers! Any of these sorts of places can be indicated by Mars in Gemini. Only people who live in that area would know which of these things might apply.
And, again, I must admit that I hope I am wrong. His father and brother miss him very much and I feel badly that I have seen his death in the charts. But since they have never found a body nor do they have an evidence of his death, we can assume that Brian may very well be alive. In that spirit, please look at his photo and commit it to memory.
