Jesse Warren Ross was a 19-year-old sophomore when he vanished on Nov. 21, 2006, while attending a mock United Nations conference in Chicago, Ill. According to police, Ross was last seen at about 2:30 a.m., leaving the Sheraton Hotel and Towers, where a conference dance was held. Surveillance footage from the hotel does not indicate Ross was intoxicated when he left. It is believed he was headed to his hotel, the Four Points Sheraton, which was located about ten minutes away. Successful Student Vanishes Without A Trace

Nineteen-year-old Jesse Ross was only a sophomore at the University of Missouri in Kansas City, but he lived a fast-paced life unusual for most students his age. Although Jesse was busy with his school work, he earned the acclaim of much of his Kansas City community through his internship at a local radio station. He may have only been an intern, but Jesse's personality and charisma channeled its way through the radio waves as he became a popular personality on the "Shorty and the Boyz" morning show.

Jesse had fame and it was likely he'd soon have fortune, too.

Then, the popular and successful student traveled with a group of his peers to Chicago in late November to participate in a model United Nations program. That's when things took an abrupt and unexpected turn for the worse.

Since then, cops have combed the Windy City, looking for clues in Jesse's disappearance, but they've uncovered nothing.

This case was sent to me by my readers. I looked up the details online and got as much information as I could to verify timelines. The first chart I drew up was for the time he was last seen leaving the lobby of the Sheraton after the dance was held. In the chart for 2-30 am, you see Jesse with others moving through the lobby of the Sheraton (first house ruler in the second house with the tenth and seventh house rulers and the Moon). The second house is the natural house for the sign Taurus, which is a marker for hotels. Also the lobby is the area where the money is transacted and where the general business of the hotel is conducted and this relates to the second house and the sign Taurus as well. Most of the planets in the stellium are disposed of by Pluto, which is in the third house in Sagittarius. This shows these people to be "traveling" or "away from home", as most people in a hotel would be. Jesses' ruling planets (Venus and the Moon in Sagittarius) are disposed of by Jupiter in Scorpio, which is in out of sign conjunction with them. This shows continuity in purpose. The purpose is defined by Jupiter, which rules the third house. Because of this, I do not beleive that Jesse was headed back to his hotel right away. He wanted to "walk around", perhaps "see the sights" or just "get some fresh air". He was going for a walk before he returned to his digs. But there appears to be a bump in the road, so to speak. The seventh house ruler represents the person we are "next to meet" and this house is ruled by Mars. Mars is in Scorpio, a few degrees behind the Moon. There was someone walking in the same group with Jesse who would come to run into him later on. I do not think this was planned in advance as the node is not in contact with these planets other than a wide trine to Mars. As well, the node is not in an angular house.

Please remember that time on Earth is different from the time in space. In fact, the time in space is related more to distance and therefor events that happen within minutes of each other can be shown over larger areas of space, reflected in various times on Earth. I say this because the chart here that shows Jesse running into this other person occurs in a chart drawn for 4 am. But we can pretty much guess that he was not walking around for an hour and a half before this happened. It may have only been a half hour or less. Yet, looking at the chart for 4 am, you see Mars enter the first house. This is where Jesse runs into someone else (the person in question reveals his or her self to him). This would be the same person that left the hotel when he did and appears to run into him by accident (the node is not involved in the pattern). Mercury is close to Mars in the first house, so this person seems to be another student and is definitely as young as Jesse or even younger.



In examining this chart even further, I can see that this looks like a possible robbery. Mars, which rules the seventh, also rules the second house, so money could be a motive. Mars is disposed of by Pluto in Sagittarius (which describes purpose in the matter) and Sagittarius often indicates firearms. It definitely defines ammunition, such as bullets or arrows. Sagittarius never indicates knives because Sagittarius covers a great distance in general and so would describe ammunition that traveled over a distance rather than being close to the subject. This indicates bullets and arrows mostly. In addition, Pluto usually indicates violence, whether this is interpersonal or disruptive chaos in general such as rebellions, uprisings, riots, etc.. So Pluto in Sagittarius often means the use of a gun for violent reasons. Also in this same line of analysis, I see that Mars is in the first house, which shows a direct confrontation, attack or even an assault on the subject. And with Mars so close to Mercury in the first, it again looks like a robbery, as Mercury so often indicates common criminals such as theives. Purse snatchers is the traditional reading, as I recall. So this looks a lot like a random act of opportunity, where another student at the conference, either the same age as or younger than Jesse, is looking for someone to rob (he has a gun in his possession we can assume) and chooses Jesse as the victim



The chart for 5 am has a fascinating pattern. Notice the huge stellium that has moved into the first house. There is a lot of energy and activity surrounding Jesse at this time. The first and seventh house rulers are together in the first and Mercury has not slipped into the twelfth, so Jesse is not dead at this time. But the Moon, which rules the ninth house and Venus, the seventh house ruler, are together in the sign Sagittarius, disposed of by Jupiter in the first. I think they hustled Jesse into a car and took him somewhere. Or let me say that it is not actually a "car" but a very large vehicle, such as a truck or small bus. The Moon rules the ninth in Sagittarius so this is not a small car. Sagittarius gives us a yellow color while the Moon describes cream or light buff so I am going to stick my neck out and say that this was a yellowish beige vehicle that was larger than the average car. To be exact, at the stars go, it would be a creamy light yellow. The Moon gives a chrome trim with large mirrors. There would also be a lot of nightime reflectors. This vehicle has been driven long distances over a period of time. It is not in bad shape but it is dusty and road worn. Sagittarius gives us an east by southerly direction. The first house is angular so this is a road with high speed limits that travels quickly over long distances.



Everything in these charts is underscored by Pluto and Jupiter. More than anything else, these planets together describe an act of violence in a moment of opportunity. Also, Mars rules the sixth house, which is a bad sign. It usually means the person in question will never be seen again. It is one of the indicators in a forensic chart that a missing person will remain missing forever. This would be the placement of the first house ruler in the sixth or the co rulership of the sixth and first houses, creating a secondary reception between the two houses. I hate to see the rulers in the sixth in the charts for missing children. It is very hard to tell parents they will never see their child again but that is a probable end of the event. It is my beleif that after accosting Jesse with a gun, the theif made him get into a vehicle. This is shown by the conjunction of the seventh house ruler (Venus) and the ninth house ruler (the Moon) since the ninth is the third from the seventh. This accoster is in a vehicle that likely belongs to him and with Mars in the first, Jesse was forced into the vehicle and perhaps knocked out during a struggle. A gun was used to intimidate him. Why they hustled him off instead of just robbing him and running I cannot say nor does it make sense that they didn't just shoot him right then and there. But you can see that Mars, which rules the first, is moving swiftly towards the twelfth along with the eighth house ruler, Mercury and the tenth house ruler, the Sun. This is a partial death pattern but it is strong. With Mars at the first cusp moving into the twelfth, it looks like he dies from either a gunshot wound or a blow to the head. Because Mercury (the eighth house ruler) moves into the twelfth before Mars (the first house ruler) does, I think he was unconcious for awhile before he died.

There does not appear to have been advanced planning in this event. That trine between the node and Jupiter indicates opportunity but there is more than one trine so things "fell into place" and a plan was quickly made and followed. This was a crime of opportunity. He was followed but that's where the opportunity arose and the plan was quickly formulated. The criminal just sort of "picked him out of a crowd". Neptune rules the fourth and is in the third so no one saw exactly where Jesse was when this happened. Three angular rulers in the first house indicate there were other people around, maybe even people who knew who he was or had seen him before but Neptune is telling us they saw nothing. There was a general assumption or belief that Jesse went back to his hotel (the fourth house ruler in the third) but Neptune in the third hides from view his true path of travel.



After death, Saturn takes the place of the body. The first house ruler becomes the accoster as the dead person can no longer "act". So the actions described by the first house ruler after someone dies are those of his killer. The seventh house is usually the victim in death but can also be an accomplice in the matter or can help with places and persons after the fact. In this chart, with the Moon conjunct Venus, which still rules the seventh, I would read Venus as the victim after death. So in the chart for 6 am, after Jesse has passed, we see Saturn in the ninth house. I have seen this a thousand times and it indicates the body was taken outdoors, perhaps into a wooded area. Saturn in Leo disposed of by the Sun in the last degree of Scorpio (void of course) and in the figurative zero degree of Sagittarius, I would imagine they might have burned his body. Especially with Venus and the Moon together in Sagittarius. Sagittarius rules ammunition and military weapons. Someone with more knowledge of weapons could break down the qualities of the Moon in Sagittarius and determine what type of gun was used. Sagittarius together with Leo and Saturn (the body) in Leo, seems like fire to me. I would tend to think they burned his body to destroy evidence and they did it in a wooded area outside the city. The area in question is ruled by the Sun in Scorpio. The Sun is void of course and moving into the zero degree of Sagittarius but it still has great power as the ruler of the tenth. This is the locational marker.

The area where they left his body is full of insects and small pockets of water, such as retention ponds and swamps. The ground is soggy but not sinking. It is a dirty, marshy area that is hard to navigate, as I said with stagnant pools of water that smell badly. There may be an old vineyard in the area. Look for yellow flowers, an old mineral mine that may even still be active and beekeepers nearby. There may also be swarms of bees in some parts of the area with large hives. Look for wild poppies growing on the grassy parts of the swampy area. The Sun is conjunct Jupiter so this is a vast area and it will be really difficult to pin down the exact location. The Sun does change signs shortly and this might indicate a change in the body's location, mostly caused by the elements. There may have been a drying out of the area where he was left and the body may have come to the surface. Saturn in Leo can mean exposure to sunlight and the drying out of the bones. So there is a possibility that his body is not underground and can be located on the surface.

I am always very sad after doing these charts, feeling really horrible for the victims. The violence in our world really gets to me, both against people and against animals, and sometimes I have to stop my work long enough to dry my tears. In this search for this killer, remember that he is described by Mars in Scorpio. To me, this means he is a very private person who probably works alone. He is sensitive in many ways, but not compassionate. He is driven by his needs, which can mean addiction to drugs or alcohol, and will do what he has to in order to survive. He feels challenged by the world and when he is hurt, he builds up resentments and grudges and doesn't forget the slights. In turn, he lashes out. In appearance, tradtional readings would give blue eyes with dark blond hair and swarthy skin. He should have large, deep set eyes that seem peircing, soft features, a good, strong chin and a wide forehead. He would be average to below average in height. Since Mars was near to Mercury and seemed to move with it, I would guess he is around Jesse's age or younger. This man has lived most of his life on the streets and has a history of crime. He has most likely been arrested before (Mercury rules the twelfth in the abduction chart) so there should be a file on him. This is what the astrology chart has to offer on this case.

Young Lady Leaves Metallica Concert and Disappears

On October 17, 2009, Harrington and three friends drove to the John Paul Jones Arena for the concert. During the opening act's performance, Harrington told friends that she was going to the restroom. When she did not return, they called her cell phone at 8:48 pm and she told them that she was locked out of the arena because of its "No Re-entry" policy. She added that she would find a way home and they should not worry. According to witness reports, she was last seen around 9:30 pm hitch-hiking on a nearby bridge. There are also two witness who claim to have seen her with 3 men after she had left the arena.

The following day, her purse with her identification and cell phone (with batteries removed) was discovered in one of the arena's overflow parking areas, the RV lot at UVA's Lannigan Athletic Field.

Her remains were discovered on January 26, 2010 about ten miles (16 km) from the arena in a remote area of a 742-acre (3.00 km2) farm and at least one and a half miles from road access. Although investigators have not released information about her death, her parents confirmed that the death had been very violent and bones were broken.

In April 2010, law enforcement confirmed that a Pantera T-shirt that was found back in November outside of an apartment building about a mile and a half from the arena, was indeed the shirt she had been wearing on that evening according to forensic tests. Police believe the murder to be related to a similar abduction and sexual assault, and that the killer may be familiar with the area where Morgan's body was found

Gil Harrington confirmed on May 17, 2010 that Morgan Harrington had been raped. "It has been seven months since Morgan was abducted, raped, and murdered. Still no resolution! We find some comfort in having recovered her body; knowing is better than not knowing and trying to 'fill in the blanks'".

This case was sent to me by a reader. In fact, several readers of this blog are talented psychics and many of them have worked on this case. I did not ask what their results were, I do not like to have an opinion about a case before I work on it. My opinion seems to have a sneaky way of working itself into the chart and making it work out the way I think it should. In this case, I was as dumb as rocks. I knew nothing about it at all but when I heard about it I was really upset. As a young lady, I loved concerts and must have gone to over a hundred, many of them hard rock and metal concerts. I loved the energy of the music. As an old lady, I hardly even listen to music anymore, but God forbid something this horrible happen to any young girl! The fact that it was at a Metallica concert was a little too close for comfort.

I started with the charts for when she was last seen, both at the arena and then again, hitchhiking on a bridge. I used a chart for 9 pm, which was square between the two sightings. The chart for 9 pm shows Morgan still at the arena, with several other people who have no real meaning in the event. None of the markers rule angular houses or are placed in angular houses. The Sun is in the fifth with the chart ruler, Mercury and the Sun rules the fourth house, but this shows this person to be from the arena and living nearby. (His home is right there, so to speak). So this group of people were likely people who had wanted to see the show but couldn't get tickets or had been bounced for some reason. Sometimes people who live near an arena just go there to hear the music from outside. They did this at a Beatles concert I went to in the 60s. These charts just do not show any danger from these people.

Moving forward, though I see that the charts are changing. The chart for 9:30 pm shows someone coming along in a car. The seventh house ruler Jupiter, which shows the person she is next to meet, is in the ninth house with Neptune. This shows someone in a car (the ninth is the third from the seventh). Jupiter in Aquarius describes an ash colored car, a dark grey. There may have been something blue in or on the car, such as a blue sticker or artwork, blue trim or blue interior (Aquarius). This car was hard to see at night and nobody saw him pick her up. Jupiter is disposed of by Uranus in the tenth so this was on a major highway and Uranus in Pisces describes a place near water. Witnesses report seeing her hitchhiking on a bridge. Aquarius describes something "up in the air" but static or solid (fixed sign) and Pisces describes deep water. This very clearly describes the bridge.

As far as the seventh house goes, Pluto is positioned there in the sign Capricorn and the house cusp is ruled by Jupiter in Aquarius. Pluto in the seventh house in Capricorn describes a physically strong man with violent tendencies. Pluto in Capricorn describes something odd about the knees, possibly an old injury and a strange way of walking as a result or a deformity of the knee. Jupiter in Aquarius would suggest something about the ankles. Overall, this describes something unusual about the knees and ankles. I do not want to guess what it might be. In other placements, the node in the eighth house tends to indicate destiny. This might mean that there was something fated about this event. Things did seem to come together in an unexpected but conspiratory fashion. I mean, she just happens to get locked out of the concert? And she just happens to be on this bridge at this hour? Just saying..

The eighth house ruler, Saturn, is in Virgo. This describes her body and it's interesting they found her on a farm. Virgo describes wheat fields and chicken ranches but also farmland. It also describes dairies and malt houses so I wonder if that farm is near any of these types of places. Pluto is disposed of by Saturn so extreme violence (Pluto) resulted in a dead body (Saturn). It's also interesting that Pluto is in Capricorn and it is said she had broken bones. Saturn rules the bones. Pluto describes a death that is very violent. It describes a violent man. One more thing I want to point out in this chart is the Moon and Mercury under the Sun's beams. I have found in doing many charts over the years that this does not always predict death.. or even grave danger.. but it is almost always present in charts where people actually were in danger or died.

Notice that the first house ruler, Mercury, is in the fifth with the co ruler, the Moon. Morgan was in a party mood that night. She had maybe had a bit to drink or was smoking pot or something that made her "happy". That is not a given; the fifth house often indicates drink and drugs but it can also just mean "having a good time". It is a definite marker for a concert. At one point she was with a group of people, shown in the charts for 8:30 and 9 pm, but none of these other markers rule angular houses. They are meaningless people. They were just hanging around outside the arena, as already noted. And already noted, she left the arena to look for a ride home and ended up on a bridge.

We know that she is dead and they have already found her body so there is no sense tracking that. Except, perhaps, to see if the charts reflect what we know.. and so far they have. The death houses are ruled by earth signs and she was found on a farm. We also know she died violently so there is no need to dwell on details. The charts are harmonizing on that as well, with Pluto in Capricorn in the seventh in conjunct Mars in Leo. But there is a greater need to get an idea of who did this to her. The charts are showing it was a single adult male who picked her up on the bridge. It was not any of the people she was seen hanging out with outside the arena. This person came along later. Now, I have found that traditional astrology has been unreliable in relation to physical appearances. I have tried to employ it in most of my posts, with the hopes that some of it might work out. So far, it has not been that accurate. For instance, hair color, facial features and racial characteristics are way out there. So I am not using so many traditional markers any longer but relying on my own knowledge base. I am not a profiler and have no idea how to describe someone who commits atrocious crimes although I did study a bit of psychology in college. So my only tools in making a guess is the chart and my knowledge of astrology.

Going with the basics, I would say that Pluto in Capricorn would describe a large man with thick muscles. A barbarian type appearance with heavy eyebrows, dark eyes, overhanging brow, perhaps. Thick, hammy hands and arms. Possibly a farm worker who had worked on the very farm where he tossed her body Shorter legs with something odd about the knees and ankles. This man could be simple minded in many respects, focused on sex and money. Likely, he would have a violent temper and has been in altercations before. He may have spent some time in jail because of violent acts. Jupiter in Aquarius adds to the descriptors with a thick chest and stocky frame, possibly shorter than average in height. Both placements describe a working man, someone who does physical labor. In the chart, Pluto is square to Venus so this man may have an axe to grind with women. A bad relationship in his past may have left him bitter. Or perhaps he has often been rejected by women. This girl was very attractive so this probably played into his overall resentments. Jupiter in Aquarius conjoined Neptune describes someone with secrets, a secret side, perhaps even a secret life. He may have been doing things that no one else knew about. His friends and family would never suspect him of this crime. He has kept all of it to himself. Even if he has hurt other women, which is possible, no one knows or suspects.

Jupiter is also trine the Moon in Libra so he found Morgan attractive. Moon in Libra is a marker for her beauty and the trine shows affection. He may have made a pass and been rebuffed. If this did, indeed, happen, this rejection could have set him off. In fact, Mars in Leo inconjunct to Pluto in Capricorn, makes me think that he just went too far. He got carried away. He forced himself on her and she fought back, which made him hurt her more. The broken bones may tell the story of her fight to resist. The charts, when moved forward to 10:45, show this man in a home. His marker, Saturn, is in the fourth along with the first house ruler, the Moon. So I am thinking he brought her back to a home to attack her and take advantage of her. That probably means that the home is the crime scene. We know she was dumped on the farm but that she was probably killed elsewhere.

So I am going to take a shot at describing the crime scene, in the hopes that someone can identify this man through his residence. There may even be evidence still in that house that could help them close this case. In the chart for 10:45, where we see the two of them in a residence, note that the tenth house ruler is Pisces and the fourth house ruler is Virgo. These signs both point to westerly direction, one north and one south. To me, this means that the house he took her to is west of where he found her and is north of Morgan's home. So this should be measured first as being north of Morgan's home and then moving the line to an area west of the bridge where she was last seen. In the center of that circle should be the area where he lives. Mercury in Libra describes his home which I think is a trailer or mobile home. The home would be small in size and movable. Libra often describes upstairs rooms and buildings with attics or lofts. There are mobile homes who have a second story so this may apply here. That would make his home stand out, no doubt. Silvercrest and Clayton both make two story mobile homes and sample models are shown on their websites. It should be checked to see if they sell their homes in Virginia. I would think they probably do. Sterling makes a modular two story home that can be picked up and moved, although it's not considered an actual "mobile" home. But this would still fit the profile.

With Mercury and Moon in Libra, I am inclined to think his bedroom was on the second floor. He took her there. At the time of the murder, Saturn rules the seventh house from the fourth house. This is his home. Also, Saturn is in the last degree of Virgo, leaving the sign and leaving the influence of that sign. This tells us that he is about to change his behavior and decide to do something he hadn't planned to. He is moving from one frame of mind to another. I suspect that, up until this point, he believed that he had made friends with Morgan and had a chance with her. It was when they got to his home and he made an advance that things changed. That's my best guess. This is when he changed his mind and forced her to have sex. The cluster of planets in the fourth house seem to say that she died in the home. The eight house ruler, twelfth house ruler and fourth house ruler are all huddled together in the fourth. This seems to indicate "end of life".

A few last things that are worth mentioning for those of you who are studying the charts. The Moon in Libra, which is Morgan's co ruler, is conjoined the elegant fixed star, Spica. This shows kindness, insight and a positive outcome. I think this describes the victim. I think she went along with him out of kindness and consideration. I think she really believed things would come out alright. But besides the Moon conjoined with Spica, the rest of the planets in that grouping are in an area of the chart known as "combust way". It puts these planets in contact with violent, evil stars that create havoc. This grouping includes the first house ruler, the twelfth house ruler, the eighth house ruler, the fourth house ruler and the dispositor of the first house ruler. This brings all of the most pertinent planetary rulers together in a very dangerous place. There is a conjunction with Uranus, the tenth house ruler, to the fixed star, Markab, which usually involves gun violence. Although it has not been said that she was shot, it's possible she was controlled with a gun. A gun may have been used to frighten her. Perhaps she was even pistol whipped. Also, note that Neptune is directly opposed to the fixed star, Phecda, which describes a pathological sex addict. Neptune is conjoined the seventh house ruler in the first chart and is positioned in the angular tenth house. This man cannot help himself. He is addicted to violent sex and has committed rapes before.

"Somewhat lost in the hubbub of the back-to-back (-to-back) snowstorms of the past few days is the press conference held by the Virginia State Police in the Morgan Harrington case last Thursday. As the snowstorm bore down on a nervous town that afternoon, the police were holding what struck me as a rather unusual press conference. The nut of the event was that Harrington’s death is being treated as a homicide, and that police want to relay “six key points” to the public. In a press release (Word file), they enumerate them as follows:

1. The person responsible may or may not have a formal connection to Anchorage Farm where Morgan was recovered, but investigators believe the person(s) responsible is likely to have traveled, worked, recreated, or lived in close proximity to this farm or some other nearby property.

2. The person(s) responsible in this tragic incident may have been inclined to return to the farm location during a period of increased stress.

3. Investigators are confident that persons, through no fault of their own, know the person(s) responsible or have knowledge of specific instances whereby the person(s) responsible visited or traveled through the general location of where Morgan’s remains were recovered.

4. Investigators believe the person(s) responsible had specific knowledge, and was comfortable operating in the area, which is a considerable distance from the nearest roadway.

5. This choice of location is quite different from the decision to leave a body on or adjacent to a major public roadway, or some other area accessed with little or no risk.

6. Traveling to the Anchorage Farm location would have created a significant risk for any person unfamiliar with the area, and not comfortable to this type of setting. Farmland like the place where Morgan’s body was discovered presents difficult obstacles such as fences, streams, and difficult terrain variations – such challenges a person unfamiliar with this particular location would most likely have avoided."

The full report on this page has the cops calling this a "homicide" and not a murder, indicating that they might think this was a tragic accident. This idea confers nicely with the inconjunction between Mars in Leo and Pluto in Capricorn, which describes an accidental death in the commission of a violent crime. I tend to think he beat her to death while raping her because she probably fought back. But she was no match for this man and he ended up killing her. Read the part of the following reports where they say her bones "were shattered". Pretty descriptive of Pluto in Capricorn.

And here is a report on the actual rape and murder, with a sketch of the perpetrator. Apparently, DNA gathered from Morgan's body matches DNA gathered from a rape in 2005. Here, from True Crime Report:

"It wasn't until January that her remains were found on a farm 10 miles outside Charlottesville. Though police haven't released the manner of death, Morgan's parents say her bones were shattered. But police believe her killer had to be someone with intimate knowledge of the area, since the farm is in a remote location not easily navigated by outsiders.

Evidence from a 2005 rape links this man to Morgan's murder. Still, detectives hadn't caught a break until recently, when forensic evidence matched up with that from a 2005 rape in Fairfax.

In that case, a 26-year-old woman was walking home from the grocery when a man grabbed her from behind, carried her to the pool of a townhouse complex, and raped her. The woman got a good enough look to help create a police sketch of the creep, but the pervert was never caught."

So this is a serial offender, which the charts have indicated is probable considering his violent nature. Look at the sketch and consider the profile of Pluto in Capricorn and Jupiter in Aquarius. I think it's a pretty good match.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Eleven years after an Indiana University student disappeared while on a bike ride, the scene in this college town is eerily similar, with parents and volunteers frantically searching for another missing woman with no sign of what happened to her.

Police they say they have few leads and no suspects but believe foul play is to blame for the disappearance of 20-year-old Lauren Spierer, a petite sophomore from Greenburgh, N.Y., last seen leaving a friend's apartment early Friday after a night out.

"When somebody at 4:30 in the morning — no shoes and has earlier been drinking — goes out and just disappears off a street corner, we feel like there certainly could be foul play involved," Bloomington police Lt. Bill Parker said during a news conference Tuesday. "If she had just decided to go to a buddy's house, we would have heard that by now."

Foul play possible in Spierer case, say cops

Police looking for clues about Spierer used a battering ram to break into the security room and mail room at her apartment building Tuesday evening, according to WTHR-TV and WISH-TV reporters at the scene. Bloomington police declined comment, saying they planned to issue a statement Wednesday morning. But the apartment complex issued a statement indicating police were after computer hard drives and no one was available to let officers into the locked area.

Parker said Spierer went to a sports bar near her apartment with friends Thursday night, then went to a friend's apartment before leaving around 4:30 a.m. Friday. Her friend watched Spierer walk to a corner near his apartment, but no one has seen her since.

Investigators have Spierer's purse and some keys, which were found along the route to her friend's apartment. But Parker said they aren't sure whether Spierer left them on her way to or from her friend's home. She left her cellphone and shoes in the bar.

Authorities directing volunteers have told them to look for clues — a stray piece of clothing left on the ground or anything that raises suspicion. Fliers with Spierer's photograph and a physical description of her are posted around Bloomington and on the Indiana University campus.

Bloomington residents say they hope for a better outcome in the Spierer case than the Behrman case, which dragged on for years.

"Those people went through such a terrible, terrible time," said Sharon Phillips, a Bloomington resident with two adult daughters who volunteered with the search Tuesday. "It's heart-wrenching. Anyone's who's a parent is just going to have that kind of a connection to these people."

Robert Spierer, meanwhile, begged for anyone with any information about his daughter's disappearance to come forward.

"It doesn't matter how casual the sighting was. Every little piece of info we get is important," he said.

The search for the missing Indiana University student has encountered an unusual hurdle. One of the last people to see her alive claims he is suffering from memory loss.

Two hours before Spierer vanished, surveillance cameras captured her coming from Kilroy Sports Bar back to her apartment building with a friend, Corey Rossman. The cameras captured a scuffle between Rossman and another young man at the Smallwood Plaza apartment building complex.

"He was punched in the face. We don't know who, why or what was said, but that punch or punches caused him a temporary memory loss," said Carl Satzmann, Rossman's attorney.

Spierer and Rossman left the apartment building and she escorted Rossman back to his apartment. She was there for about an hour with Rossman and another young man.

Rossman doesn't remember Spierer walking him back to his apartment and the first thing he remembers is waking up the next morning, his attorney said. Police have searched Rossman's car and cell phone.

After returning Rossman to his apartment, Spierer left for another friend's apartment. That friend saw her walk towards her own apartment at about 4:30 a.m. last Friday. The pint-sized student who weighs less than 100 pounds and is 4-foot-11 was last seen three blocks from her apartment.

Surveillance video also shows Lauren in an alley walking with an acquaintance on the morning she disappeared. The alley is the same place where her keys and coin purse were found by authorities.

I decided to do this case after I saw the charts. I did not want to do another current case because there are so many cold ones that people have forgotten about that I almost always choose to do one of those. But once I saw the charts for this case I was very concerned and felt an obligation to report my findings. I started with a chart for 4:30 am on June 3rd of this year, which is when Lauren was last seen. This was when she left her friend's apartment after a night of drinking and as far as anyone knew she was headed home. But, as we all know now, she never made it.




Looking at this chart the first thing that stands out for me is the grouping in the first house. Here Taurus is rising with the first house ruler, Venus, in the first house in the sign Taurus along with Mars, also in Taurus. Notice that both of these planets are within shouting distance of a group of violent fixed stars, the Pleiades at 28 degrees of Taurus and Caput Algol at 24 degrees of Taurus which means that all of these fixed stars are also rising. This is not good. In fact, it is really bad. As Astrology goes, this is as bad as it gets. The literal reading of Caput Algol is "murder and mayhem". Combine this with the placement of Scorpio on the seventh house, making the peregrine Mars the ruler of the descendant and the descriptor for the person she is about "to meet". This would be her abductor. And the peregrine Mars is very close to the fixed stars in much the same manner as other murder cases I have seen. Please also notice that the node is placed in the eighth in the sign Sagittarius and is disposed of by Jupiter in the twelfth. All of this in the charts describes a violent death and leads me to read the charts as saying Lauren Spierer is dead.

Notice in the chart how Mars is just ahead of Venus. Venus is in her dignity in the first house so it shows Lauren moving along of her own free will. This person (Mars) is behind her along the same path. Mars in Taurus is disposed of by Venus so this person was waiting for her and this was not random. She was definitely "targeted". Also, Mars and Venus are in the same sign so he had seen her before and probably knew her, perhaps even well. Moon is in Gemini in the third house showing us Lauren walking along a path or road in her neighborhood. Gemini describes an area that has cross paths, crossroads or a fork in the road. This is where he may have followed her. Through an alleyway or along a cross path that enters an alleyway. The structural nature of an alleyway combined with the connecting nature of the passage through alleyways make the concept of an alleyway the best descriptor for these placement. He may have been hiding on a cross path or a fork in the road when she was coming along and then followed her from there. Gemini implies neighborhood avenues or roads or small, two-laned roads in the city. Moon is in the last degree of Gemini and is ready to change signs so there is going to be a change in her condition immediately. Before it leaves Gemini it opposes the fixed star, Sinistra, which points to sexual lust, deviation and rape. And once it enters Cancer, which it will within the hour, it is sinister to a conjunction to the fixed star Geidi Prima, which means "a rape has been committed". So I guess the charts are trying to tell us that the abductors intention is to rape her.




The thing that really stands out in this chart is that her markers are really strong. Venus, her ruler, is in Taurus, which gives it dignity. And her secondary marker, the Moon, is moving into Cancer, it's bailiwick. Although these are traditionally strong markers, they can also make a person "stand out" or have a "ray of light" so to speak, that draws others to them. Mars follows Venus in this chart, sinister to the conjunction, so he went after her, either having targeted her in advance or having chosen her right on the spot. He chased her down and abducted her, took her by force (Mars in the first). Uranus in Aries in the twelfth disposed of by Mars shows us that he totally surprised her and had her at a disadvantage. We know she had been drinking. Perhaps he even knew that. Neptune is in the eleventh so she had been drinking with friends and Neptune is in her dignity in Pisces, giving it great power, so it's my guess that she was probably drinking a lot. We know she had been visiting friends, which dovetails with the placement of Neptune in the eleventh house.

Also in this chart I see the north node in the eighth house. The node goes to karmic events on a higher level and planned events on the material level. In our world at large, the node represents mass consciousness, the movements of entire generations brought about by the consciousness of that group. On a personal, day to day level, the node describes the direct intentions of individuals and in forensic charts it goes to the planning or scheming of the subjects and their intended actions in the instance. The eighth house is the house of sex and death so it's easy to read this as a plot or scheme around the intentions to rape or kill this girl. At this point, my question would be who was this person she was seen in the alleyway with? It was reported that she was last seen on security camera walking into an alleyway with a strange man. The charts seem to be describing a situation involving someone she met along the way and we also know, from the police, that her purse and keys were found in that same alleyway.




Actually, you can see by looking at the chart for 4:45 am that the Moon entered Cancer within 15 minutes of her leaving the apartment where she was last seen. The Moon, from this position (0 degrees of Cancer), is sinister to an opposition to Pluto, the secondary seventh house ruler, placed in the ninth house in Capricorn. This describes violence and violent confrontation. It describes a fight, a physical altercation between two people with one trying to gain control of the other, using force and power. The Moon is her secondary marker and shows by the opposition aspect that she resisted him. I saw a Moon-Pluto opposition in the Natalie Holloway case and I still think she put up one hell of a fight. In this case, I would say the same about Lauren. This would mean that her assailant had marks or scars on his body from her fingernails or teeth such as bites or scratches. Pluto is opposed to Saturn while also being disposed of by Saturn with Saturn also ruling the tenth house. This tells me that her body will be found eventually and I will address that later in the post. Pluto square Saturn tells me that it is not in "original" condition. Her body has been altered in some way and I will go into that, as well, when I go into the body location descriptors.

I believe she was attacked between 4:45 and 5:00 am. Mars crosses the ascendant during that period and is shown here, in the chart for 4:45 am to be closing in on the first house cusp. Her ruler, Venus in Taurus is within two degrees of Caput Algol and I have only seen this in crimes where there was great violence. Many of those other cases were really grisly. I am not going to make such a dark, dire prediction in this case other than to suggest that she was killed in a violent manner. Mars in Taurus, however, can describe a beating. Either with the fists or with something wooden like a bat or club. I realize that the cops had to use a battering ram to get into her apartment but please don't cross the two things up. The use of force by police is also shown by Pluto' placement since Pluto is in the sign Capricorn, which is the sign that represents authority and power. And since it is also in the ninth house (the house of the law) there is the slim possibility that the person who killed Lauren is a person in authority and very well could be a police officer or other law enforcement employee. Or, at the least, has a pretty good knowledge of police procedure and protocol. And in the general wake of things, I see that the fixed star Miram is in the first house, also, at 27 degrees of Taurus, and it means that "someone is lieing". So the police have not gotten the truth from someone and there may be someone who knows more than they are saying.




I drew up charts for the next hour or two by fifteen minute increments. The chart for 5 am again shows me a violent attack. This was presaged in the chart for 4:45 am, as I just showed you. Mars in this chart contacts the ascendant and this is when it occurs. So he didn't wait long. There are no markers indicating a vehicle or other movement so I am pretty sure he didn't take her anywhere in a car. I am inclined to read that it occurred along the path or in an area near the path she was traveling on. Perhaps in that alleyway or just beyond it? Pluto, the secondary marker for the abductor, is still in the ninth, indicating the outdoors. So this went on outside; they did not go to someone's home. All of her markers are in the first and second houses, showing us that she is near "her place in the world" or a place she frequented. The third house ruler, the Moon, is in the second. It just reads like a small area somewhere outside near where she was walking and possibly close to her home. Moon opposes Pluto from the second house to the ninth. So she loses her purse and other belongings outdoors. This we know to be a fact. So the attack had to have happened there. That's my best guess. Mars and Venus are in the sign Taurus, which is an earth sign that often describes small outdoor areas or outdoor areas that are closed in. An alleyway fits the description almost perfectly. However, if the alleyway has been considered and dismissed as impossible, then there are other, less probable, descriptors. A planted garden with tall trees, perhaps. Pluto is in Capricorn so this might also have rocks or other rubble on the ground. This actually fits the alleyway again, Pluto in Capricorn would put rubble, rocks and even garbage on the ground. Pluto implies chaos and disorder so rubble makes the most sense in any location; rubble and debris. A sandy lot with lots of weeds perhaps with tall trees and a garden that has not been tended. This is a possible location when I read these aspects. Mercury is in the first house also in the sign Gemini so I am thinking this is near some form of temporary housing. Something like apartments, trailers, dormitories, a motel or hotel or even a campground. We know she was leaving an apartment and heading to her apartment, so I guess the best assumption would be that same apartment house or other apartments nearby. So there would be apartments near the sandy lot or alleyway the charts are describing.




Looking at the charts for 5:15 am, I saw a developing aspect that I discovered came to completion at 5:20 am. You can see it here in this chart I've posted. Both Venus and Mars have slipped into the twelfth at the moment that Pluto enters the eighth house. He sexually assaults her in a private place, hidden from view. Saturn in Libra enters the fifth house in 10 minutes time, exactly at 5:30 am. Everything happens in this time frame. She is raped and murdered within an hour after she was taken. That's what the charts appear to be saying. The death pattern, from here on in, remains steadfast. When you see chart after chart showing the death of the subject, as I did in the Caylee Anthony analysis, you have to admit the subject is dead. Here, the ascendant ticks through Gemini and Cancer over the next few hours and as it does, in each instance, the ruler falls into the twelfth house. Both Mercury and the Moon are in the first few degrees of their sign, causing them to be in the twelfth just after the ascendant changes. It starts when Venus in Taurus moves into the twelfth and from there on, the pattern is consistent. And one more thing I feel a need to mention is that Mars in Taurus peregrine so close to violent fixed stars with Mercury under the Sun's beams there is a danger to other women, as well. This is the mark of a person who kills more than once and is motivated by lust and murder. Mercury is a traditional marker for young people and students and she was a student at the time. Other students may also become targets. I do not believe that this man is finished killing or that Lauren was a single target. Because I do not have a birth chart for the murderer I cannot be sure when this will be but it is likely to happen at some time in the future. And this would likely involve another young person, probably a student.


Looking at the charts for as late as 6 am I see him still with her body. Jupiter rules the seventh and it is placed in the twelfth with Mercury, the first house ruler. Also, the Moon rules the third but it's placed in the second, so I think he carried her somewhere. He may have had something with him he could put her in and it reads like some sort of luggage or bag. She was put inside something, of this the charts are pretty clear. If there had been something in the third house, I might have said the trunk of a car but I am inclined to think of a trunk of the carrying kind in this case. Possibly a trunk type of luggage that is rolled on wheels. Moon trine Neptune in Pisces shows drugs so perhaps she was drugged or knocked out, maybe with chloroform or something else. Or perhaps her assailant was high on drugs. Both planets in water signs tend to describe her drinking, her drunken state, which did not help her much. He picked her out because she was tiny, small enough to put in the trunk or case. This is supported by Mars in Taurus disposed of by Venus in Taurus and Mercury as ruler of the first, which shows us that he was seeking someone "diminutive" or "tiny".

In this same chart, for 6 am (shown below), Saturn has moved into the fifth house, showing the dead body to be in some body's bedroom. Saturn is in Libra so this is on the second floor of the house ("up in the air"). Aquarius rules the tenth so this is a "community" of some sort with two story structures and lots of tech devices like satellite dishes, ham radio antennas, lightening rods, outdoor lighting systems, rooftop helicopter pads, HDTV antennas, Digital long range TV antennas, etc... There may be an airport or airstrip nearby or a train depot or train tracks that run nearby. It may be a private type community where you have to be a "member", which is typical of Aquarius. Uranus is in Aries in the eleventh, adding a few new descriptors. Aries would describe newly turned ground so there may be new construction in the area or in the community. Aries also describes hilly ground so perhaps there are hills in the area or a single hill somewhere in the road leading into the community. Aries also describes entrances so I am thinking a hill near the entrance. Aries also rules ceilings, roofs and walls so there is a chance that he actually hid her body in the walls of his home. It is a slim chance but a chance none the less.




Pluto in Capricorn in the eighth house gives clues about the body. Capricorn rules the bones of the body but I want to be sensitive here and not upset people who care about this girl. I will say that, at the least, she has a broken bone. With Mars in Taurus, perhaps it was her neck that was broken and death was very quick. Moon remaining in the second, he sees her as "property" and feels she "belongs" to him. Mercury rules the first from the twelfth and it is under the Sun's beams so I must say that it looks like she was dead by 6 am. Sun rules the fourth and it is in the first in Gemini so I come back to the idea that she is inside something confining that is moveable, like luggage or a rolling trunk. Neptune in Pisces is in the tenth house, so here are more descriptors for the home he lives in. It is hidden in some way, by trees, brush, other buildings, whatnot and not readily visible from the street. It is situated somewhere near a body of water. This home is west by northwest from the place where Lauren was abducted. If there is no body of water in that area, then consider that the inside of the home has fishing gear, pictures of fish, aquariums, plaques of fish caught on fishing trips, stuffed fish or, very simply, a boat in the yard. It may have all of these things and also be close to a body of water, too.

I know that the boyfriend is a person of interest in this case. But unless this person has a violent nature and has done violent things in the past, the charts are not talking about him. They are describing somebody violent and dangerous, someone who has violent intentions and desires. There is no way that this person has not had violent events in his life in the past. I am saying this because of my past experience with the fixed stars that are presenting in this chart. There are a cluster of violent fixed stars around the descendant in the chart for 5 am. These fixed stars are always in opposition to a cluster of violent fixed stars around the Pleiades and Caput Algol, which are in the first house of the forensic chart for 5 am. There is no doubt in my mind that this is when Lauren died. This and the first house ruler, Venus, moving into the twelfth between 5 and 5:30 am and then each ascendant after wards putting the first house ruler in the twelfth, the charts show actual death and then support it over and over again with placements that describe the subject as dead. I have seen this also numerous times in death charts, most recently and notably in the Caylee Anthony case. In that instance, the chart showed actual death on June 16 and then supported it over and over again by showing the chart ruler for the child in a death pattern. We now know the charts were right about Caylee.

Going back to the body locaters and the descriptors for her killer. Although the charts show us that she is dead and that her killer removed her body in some sort of carrier and took her to a residence, I would like to know where the body was placed when he was done with her. Also, I want a description for her killer to aid those who are trying to figure this out. It isn't until a chart for later in the morning that I see the body being placed in a vehicle. At this same time, the Moon is in the twelfth house, showing the body being hidden. The twelfth house describes a hidden place and it also describes something "behind" or "in the back" so I am thinking the trunk or backseat of a vehicle. This is around 9:40 in the morning and the chart is shown below. Saturn rules the seventh house cusp, which is the abductor, and it is in the third house so he is taking her body somewhere. Moon in twelfth shows the body in the backseat or trunk. Saturn in the sign Libra shows him traveling west from his home. So we went north by northwest from the place he abducted her to his home and then he went west from his home to dump her. The nadir is due north and Saturn is near to that point so I will add that this movement was probably north by northwest again. He keeps moving north by northwest. But as he travels, Saturn ticks through the third house, showing a slow turn to the east. Still moving north but after awhile moving east. Northeast, in fact. Saturn is retrograde and nearly standing still so my guess that he did not travel far. He was hampered in some way and did not go far. Libra is a cardinal sign and the third is a cadent house so I would venture to guess less than 10 miles. This would be 10 miles or less traveling first in a northwest direction and then in a northeast direction. So look for a turn within that distance from the area where his home is located.





Saturn is disposed of by Venus in the eleventh house. At 10:15 Venus changes houses and enters the tenth. This is when I believe he disposed of her body. Venus is in Taurus in the tenth house so the body has been left outdoors in an area where it could be easily seen if someone was looking. Venus conjunct Mars in Taurus with the violent fixed stars in the tenth house also, there will be a media firestorm when the body is found. Something about the condition of the body will make it sensational. The police or somebody associated with the authorities will find the body. The body is in the southeast quadrant of a small area. The actual location is to the south of the highway. This may be a cattle pasture, an old wheat field or a lush green area similar to a garden, with plants and trees. The body may be back in the trunk that was used when she was abducted. If so, the trunk is right out in the open and can be seen from the road. There could also be an outhouse in the area, working or not and/or a sawmill. There are likely mountains nearby or in the distant background but the body is not on a mountain or even near the mountains. They may just be in the background. But this is an open area, agricultural and undeveloped with fresh, cool air and lots of pasture or open fields.

To describe the killer we have to return to the charts for the time of death. Mars in Taurus rules the killer and describes him in the forensic chart. Remember that these are descriptors in a time chart and have nothing to do with the actual placement of Mars in Taurus in a birth chart. If you have Mars in Taurus this does NOT apply to you. Traditional readings give that Mars in Taurus describes someone of average height with a well made, muscular body form. This person would have a ruddy complexion or a flushed appearance to the face. Look for rough, coarse or curly reddish brown or auburn hair. Traditional readings give an oval face with a prominent scar on the face or neck. The neck is thick and "bullish". The personality is self centered, ambitious, materialistic and decadent. This person loves good food, luxury and sexual pleasure. This person also likes massages and personal attention of any kind, the practice of making the body feel good. There is a stubborn streak that borders on thickheadedness, what we often call "bull headed". The determination to get and have what is wanted can create frustrations that ignite a fiery temper. Slow to steam up but when this person gets angry, violence is possible. There is a tendency to resort to violence when other tactics don't work. This person loves to get physical in an aggressive way so there is a joy in weight lifting, boxing, kickboxing, wrestling and playing ground level ball games like soccer. This is an energetic person who has a strong will and a dogged determination that can bring success just by never giving up. If this person targeted Lauren then he would have the patience and determination to fulfill his desires and would wait as long as it took.

This person has such a love of luxury that he is probably extravagent in some ways. There is also a tendency to gain weight with age and to struggle with the innate love of food. This person probably loves to cook and the people who know him know this. He likes spicy food and brightly colored foods with lots of flavor. This person also has questionable morals and has sex fetishes. If he is the killer, he has more than this going wrong in this department, but this is the least of it that is known by his friends. He likes women or it seems as though he does and he has a strong interest in sex. There may be financial troubles along the way and he might have a tendency to gamble or to fall for quick cash schemes. He may have problems with debt and is often heard complaining about not having enough money. And least but not least, this man has an explosive temper that can come out of left field and he does not forget his anger easily. He does not dismiss the wrongs committed by others readily and can hold grudges for long periods until he suddenly explodes with anger. And when he is angry he is abusive with words and actions, often hitting or punching other people. These descriptors may be helpful to anyone seeking to find out who took Lauren.

Young Man Found in Dumpster; How Did He Die?

Fiocco case remains baffler; family hires forensics expert

EWING -- The College of New Jersey seniors graduated last Friday without a mention of John Fiocco Jr., the freshman whose disappearance and death continues to puzzle his grieved family and investigators.

In fact, Susan and John Fiocco have hired Dr. Michael Baden, a high-profile pathologist who hosts HBO’s "Autopsy" show, and attorney Glenn Zeitz of Haddonfield.

The Fioccos want to solve the awful riddle of what happened to their son the day he disappeared from TCNJ’s campus and wound up dead a month later in a Tullytown, Pa., dump.

Fiocco’s body was found in the Pennsylvania landfill exactly one month after he disappeared from TCNJ.

Investigators, who were directed to the landfill after they found pints of blood in a trash bin at Wolfe Hall, uncovered his body on April 25 after sifting through 3,450 tons of garbage.

Fiocco’s body, though in an advanced state of decomposition, was intact when it was recovered, authorities said.

No bullet holes, stab wounds or other obvious signs of a homicide were found on the body during an initial autopsy, officials said. The body sustained fractures and injuries that were synonymous with someone being manipulated through the trash system.

Investigators had theorized that Fiocco may have fallen or been placed inside the dorm’s chute.

Bocchini said he doesn’t know whether Fiocco was murdered, pushed down the chute, committed suicide, or fell in. Golden said interviews of students have continued ever since Fiocco’s body was recovered.

"But to be perfectly honest," he said, "they don’t know whether his death was caused by an accident, by himself, by someone else -- they just don’t have any real solid direction in terms of what led to this horrible occurrence."

Although every website I looked at has come to the conclusion that this boy fell to his death accidentally I thought I'd play the devils' advocate and look at the charts. Some amazing information came to light for me and I thought I'd share it. I received this case from a favorite reader, Rebecca, who sent me all kinds of links and data. I never would have heard of it without her email to me. So never be shy about sending me cases. I am always looking for something unusual or something forgotten. My true purpose with this blog is to make a case for Astrology as a science that can be used as a tool in these investigations but I do not mind casting new light on cases that others have forgotten.

Anyways, I am fairly certain that someone else was with John on the night he died. Here is what the charts say.

Of course, my first action is to run a chart for the time last seen to prove or disprove viability. So the chart I ran for this was the chart for 3 am, the time at which people reported seeing him leaving the party. This chart has a late Capricorn rising and Saturn in the seventh house. Although I usually get leery of charts with high or low rising degrees, I saw that this one fit the facts as I knew them. It shows him with someone else (Saturn in the seventh) and at a party (the tenth house ruler, Mars, is in the fifth). Saturn is disposed of by the Sun and is trine the Sun, as well. The Sun does not rule a house in this chart but is conjoined the node. The Moon, co ruler of the chart, is leaving an opposition with Saturn and is sinister to a trine with Mars. He leaves the party safely but very drunk. Notice that the Moon is also sinister to a square with Jupiter (overindulgence) and is disposed of by Uranus which is conjunct Mercury in Pisces. I'm afraid his judgement is a little messed up from drink. The sign Pisces emphasizes Neptune, which is the planet of drink, drugs, drunkenness, etc..




When I first saw that he was drunk and left the party safely I was thinking that everyone was probably right, this guy just fell in the chute because he was too drunk to avoid it. Mercury in Pisces is a cause of many a misjudgement and oversight, most often because of drink or drugs and here it's trine to Jupiter (really easy to get wasted with this position) and square to Mars (he's a bit clumsy right now)! But just for the fun of it I did a chart for 3:30 am and began to read more into this. At this time, Aquarius has taken over the first house with Uranus conjoined Mercury in Pisces in the first house. Another marker that maybe he was just too drunk and clumsy. Sudden mistakes, perhaps? But then I noticed that Leo had taken over the seventh cusp and the Sun was in Aries in the second house conjoined the node. Now this gave me pause. What was someone doing in the house of his personal belongings? When you also notice that the Sun is disposed of by Mars in the fourth house! Now, is this someone in his room, going through his things? It really looks that way. Mars is in Gemini so is this paperwork, books, diaries, computer files? Is that what this person is looking at? Mars disposed of by Mercury which is joined to the first house ruler makes me think that this person is going through his things for sure. Mercury basically puts the tail on the donkey when conjoined to Uranus, which rules the first. Any way I look at this, it raises questions for me.




Now, let's look more closely at this other person. Saturn is near to the seventh cusp so this might mean the person is older than John. Saturn also implies authority so is this the captain of the team, the dorm supervisor or a teacher at the school? Could be. My money would be on someone with the sports team because of the sign Leo. The Sun is in Aries, implying power and strength and maleness. So is this a powerful, strong male athlete? What on earth is he looking for in John's room? This raises another question, too, though. Perhaps this is his roommate just simply going through things in a normal manner. That, too, is possible. Especially so if his roommate played on a team or was studying athletics. Now, the fourth house ruler at this time is Venus and there it is, conjunct the fourth house ruler in the first house. I cannot resist believing this is showing me John returning to his room. I mean, the first house is John and there is the fourth house ruler (his dorm room) right there. This convinces me that he made it back to his room. Of course, Uranus still rules the first and it is still conjoined Mercury in Pisces with Neptune in the same house so he hasn't sobered up any.




The thing that disturbs me in these charts is the seventh house ruler. If John had been alone the seventh house ruler would not have been near his markers or in the first house like it is at 5 am. The chart for 5 am describes a death pattern and also shows another person right there in the first house. So how is this possible if he fell to his death because he was drunk and this happened while he was alone? And also the first house ruler is conjoined to the first house ruler at 4 am, showing him returning to his room? So did he leave the room? Let's look at the next chart, the one for 4 am and see what happens there. In this chart the seventh house ruler is disposed of by Mars in the fourth, showing someone else in the room as well. What is the relationship between these planets? You can see that Mars is square to both Mercury and Uranus which indicates that this person was likely not the roommate and may have been there because of a disagreement (disharmony of some sort) with John. The node is right near the Sun, which, again, is the seventh house ruler, indicating that this person planned this out; he went to John's room because he knew he was at a party and would not be there. But Uranus guarantees us that upsets would occur, sudden decisions would be made and John may do something unexpected, like returning to the room earlier or at a time when the intruder just could not escape. The idea of being trapped is sort of supported by the placement of the twelfth house ruler, Saturn, in the sixth house.




Now, I am not going to rush right out and demand they reopen this case. But I do think the charts are presenting some interesting information so I want to finish the reading and see what else turns up. Did this intruder have anything to do with John's death or is it possible that he tripped and fell while chasing this guy down the hall? Mercury often implies theivery and theives so perhaps this person was trying to steal something from John? That looks likely. And if you're in school and someone is going through papers, books or computer files, I am thinking perhaps it was the answers to a test or a composition or a thesis. Something written down. As if I needed to point it out, the tenth house ruler Jupiter is in the ninth, showing John to be on the school premises (the dorm). I do like showing how Astrology supports known facts.

The Moon moves into the twelfth house at 4 am. This could be an omen of death to come now or very soon, or it could be saying that someone is trapped, confined or unable to get out of something somewhere. Could this be John in the chute? Did he get in there and get trapped? But if he did, why did he not make a lot of noise trying to get out, calling for help or whatever racket someone might make in such a desparate situation? And I beleive Mars in the fourth square to Mercury and Uranus is describing a sudden act of violence, something unexpected. Uranus may be dexter in this configuration but Mercury is sinister and angular in the first. Other markers for violence include the tenth house ruler, Jupiter, being disposed of by Pluto and the eighth house ruler approaching the Ascendant while exactly trine to Mars in the fourth.




I told you the chart for 5 am shows a death pattern and I believe he died around this time. So was he in the chute or somewhere else? Let's look and you can decide for yourself. Pisces is rising at 5 am with Neptune in the twelfth with the Moon and the eighth house ruler. Pluto in the tenth disposed of by Jupiter in the eighth. Tenth house ruler in the eighth. Mars angular at the nadir just inside the fourth house but moving out. Saturn, by the way, is still in the sixth house! This is always a marker for confinement for me. So he is trapped somewhere. And he is also dead. Please notice that at the same time that this death pattern emerges, the seventh house ruler is right at the Ascendant with Uranus. Both of these planets are disposed of by Neptune in the twelfth. Why is this ruler right in the first, as if showing us that someone is with him? The general consensus was that this man fell down a chute all by himself. The charts are showing us that this is not true.

I contend that he was pushed. Mercury and Uranus at the first show a sudden decision made in haste and with the square to Mars, it looks a lot like a push to me. Especially with Mars now in the third, showing that this person is now outside the room. He is in the hallway, perhaps, moving around and active. The disposition of Neptune to the seventh house ruler tells me that this person intended to kill John even if it was a spur of the moment thing. I believe they were both drunk when this happened. And with the node in the first disposed of by Mars in the first, it was a sudden choice to just do it because this person had been wanting to do it but only now had the opportunity. Now, from these charts I cannot tell what the disagreement was about. I'm not sure it would make sense if everyone were sober. But the charts do clearly show this person looking through papers, books, documents and computer files. This is NOT photos or personal effects but data of some kind. Like school papers, as an example.

Young Man Walks Into Bar and Never Walks Out

On the night of Friday, March 31st 2006; Brian Shaffer, a 27 year old 2nd year medical student at OSU went out with friends to have a few drinks and celebrate the beginning of Spring break 2006; it was his 'time out with the guys'. At around 9:30pm, the men headed to the Ugly Tuna Saloona, a bar located near the OSU campus. At 9:56pm, Brian called Alexis -his girlfriend- who at the time was visiting her family in Toledo, OH. He told her he loved her and that he would see her when she came back to Columbus; the two had planned on taking a vacation to Miami and were scheduled to leave for Florida on Monday, April 3rd. Shortly after talking to Alexis, Brian and his friend walked down to the Arena District in Columbus, OH; they stopped at the North Short Tavern and then went to Brother's, where they met with other friends. One of the friends drove them back to the Ugly Tuna Saloona, where they are seen in the surveillance tape at 1:15 am. The next time Brian is seen on cameras, he was outside of the Ugly Tuna, at the top of the escalator, talking with two girls; he appears to say 'bye' and turns towards the bar, he then disappears from the camera's view and has not been seen since.

Two years later, there are still no answers. Numerous searches have been conducted including the construction area by the Ugly Tuna Saloona, numerous locations close to his disappearance including help from Texas Equusearch and numerous search agencies in the Ohio area but to no avail. At one point, the police were looking for an individual seen on the escalator (the man with the orange sweater) - this has been ruled out and not considered linked to Brian's case. Conversations have been had with the 2 girls who were outside the bar speaking with Brian but they were not able to provide any additional information to help locate Brian. It truly feels as if he just disappeared but we all know, Brian is SOMEWHERE and needs to be located.

The two men arrived at the Ugly Tuna Saloon around 9:15PM and had a few shots. He and Alexis spoke on his cell phone around 10:30PM. Brian and Clint then left the Ugly Tuna Saloon around 11:00PM and walked to Short North Tavern and then to another bar around 11:40PM. By 1:15AM they were back at the Ugly Tuna where their evening had begun.

Brian can be seen in the grainy surveillance video returning to the Ugly Tuna around 1:15AM. He can also he seen on the foyer near the escalators speaking with some girls that Clint knew. He then walks out of the bottom right side of the camera and Brian Shaffer disappears into thin air.

By 2:00M its closing time. Clint calls Brian on his cell phone and it goes straight to voice mail. He goes to the men’s room and looks for him but Brian is not there either. Eventually Clint assumes Brian has left and he leaves as well.

Saturday, April 1st Alexis continuously tried to call Brian with no luck. The couple had plans to leave town for a Spring Break vacation in Florida that following Monday. By Sunday she was scared and knew something was not right.

One baffling aspect of this case that still perplexes law enforcement today is the fact that Brian could not be seen on surveillance leaving the bar after he had re-entered. Both bar exits are covered by cameras, as is the escalator in which you see Brian enter and leave and enter again.

Outside the bar, out of camera view, are stairs and an elevator that lead to the first floor. Once on the first floor, the only way out, without being seen on tape, would be through a service exit that leads to a construction site, with doors to the street.

Brian’s credit cards, bank account and cell phone have not been used. There have been no significant leads to indicate what happened that Friday night.

Today Brian’s father continues the quest to find answers and to find his son. After all, not knowing is the hardest.

Thanks to an astute reader who emailed me this case I was able to give it a shot. I had never heard of it so I am always grateful to readers who mail me cases from their area. In fact, I'd like to turn this blog into a "request only" blog, where readers send me cases from their areas with details I need. If you want to email me a case, always include the month, day and year they disappeared along with the time they were last seen and / or the time at which they are discovered. If they are still alive and missing, then the time at which they are last seen, within a 4 or 5 hour window is necessary. If they are dead, then both the time they were discovered along with the TOD, if known. If you have mailed me a case and I have not done it on the blog, it is most likely due to the window of time. I cannot do charts for events that could have happened over many days. It's just not possible to do an accurate or honest reading that way. Every day of our lives aspects exist that create danger and death; I mean, think about it, somebody dies every day, if not every hour of every day. So any given time can be read for death, but is it the same person we're talking about, or somebody else? This is a trick with Astrology and depends heavily upon specific windows of time. So remember that when sending me cases.

One more thing I would like to add. I did a chart for Cari, by request, but she did not give me an email address to which to send the chart. So I can't get it to her! Cari LW, if you are reading this, then email me!! I have your chart.

And now, for Brian Shaffer. In regards to this case, anyone who has been bars where students gather, it can be said that closing time is always dangerous. Everyone is looking to hook up and the drinking keeps people from being as careful as they should be. In this case, we have Brian returning to an earlier spot just before closing to end the night. The cameras have him entering the bar and then the trail goes cold. There is no record of him leaving the bar so what happened to Brian? This one makes me feel like I'm Nancy Drew; this one looks impossible to solve. So the first chart I draw up for Brian is for that last time he was seen, on the camera entering the bar at 1:15 am. Right away, I note that Sagittarius is rising and Jupiter is in the tenth. This echoes the fact that he was right out in the open, where he could be seen by anyone and, in fact, was seen. Notice also that Gemini is on the seventh cusp while Mercury is in the second house, crossing into the third. He was actually seen speaking to people who were leaving the bar as he went back in. Mercury's movement shows us people leaving an enclosed area to step outside, in a parking lot or neighborhood, both defined by Mercury and the sign Gemini. Probably headed to their cars (Gemini again). Mercury was in Pisces, disposed of by Neptune, so perhaps some of these people had been drinking or using drugs and were impaired. Overall, this chart could be not be clearer nor simpler to read. He was outside, speaking to people who were leaving the bar as he went back in.



But you must admit that it is fascinating that this young man, who was seen on camera one minute, disappears forever in the next. But, the charts expound on this as you move them forward. Within 15 minutes, at 1:30 am, Capricorn moves onto the Ascendant and Saturn is in the seventh house. He has been joined by someone else. Who is this person? Looking at the seventh house, Cancer is on the cusp and the Moon is ruling from the fourth. This person works at the bar. I know this because the fourth house is the tenth house for the seventh, showing someone at their job or career position. This person is prominent at the bar, perhaps an owner, operator, bartender, bouncer, promoter or performer. Ruled by the Moon, with the Moon in Taurus, this might be someone who is involved in the day to day operations of the bar and might be responsible for handling money or accounting for transactions. Or he or she may have been involved in the preparation of food, if food was served here. Saturn is Brian's marker and it is in the sign Leo. It is disposed of by the Sun in Aries in the third house. This hints that Brian left the bar with this employee and that they left through an employee exit. I am curious to ask, considering the chart, if there might have been a wine cellar beneath the bar or an underground storage area or business office. And if there were cameras at employee exits and if anyone has viewed the films from those cameras.



Another aspect I must point out is that the Moon is disposed of by Venus in the second house, conjoined there with Neptune. Was this employee also a drug dealer? If Brian was resistant to drugs and would not have gone anywhere for this reason, then perhaps he was offered money? Or perhaps he was offered something else for sale? What would have motivated Brian to leave the bar with this person? If it was not drugs, then someone was conned. Something shady and possibly illegal is implicated with Neptune in the second house. He may have been led away by a lie and then robbed. Theft is a possible motive. Perhaps he was asked to help a sick person? He was a medical student; was a "hero" type? Neptune and Uranus are in mutual reception so there was a lot of unexpected twists and turns in the events as they transpired this night. Moon in Taurus is also square to Neptune, which again hints at the possibility that someone got ripped off or hustled; perhaps things were promised that could not be delivered? Another important aspect that runs through the evening is the trine from the transiting node in Aries to Saturn in Leo. Since Saturn is Brian's marker, this is a symbol of "kismet" to me, a sign that this event occurred for a bigger reason. Brian's disappearance (or death, if that happened) would be "fated" in a way, or, predestined, if you are so inclined. His marker trining the north node also whispers that "things went as planned". Not a good feeling for those who are looking for Brian and wishing for his return. But comfort should always be found in the knowledge that things are as they should be.. or, in other words, working within God's plan.

All of the charts I run up until now show that Brian was still alive, fine, and went along of his own accord. He was not kidnapped, restrained or forced. Pluto does cross the ascendant, but this happens early on before he disappears. However, it might have a meaning in that regard, from the possibility that there was anger aroused by someone in his company hours before he was last seen.. but that is not a given. There are no aspects involving Mars or the eighth house ruler and no forward planets that point to violence.. or death, for that matter. So far, I see no sign that Brian died or is dead. But I do keep seeing Neptune in a prominent place throughout the night and this does call for attention. Saturn, Brian's marker, is also retrograde, which is a sign that can't be ignored. When the ruler of the party is retrograde it is a planetary sign that he will not be seen again, or at the very least, not for a very long time indeed. Neptune in the first points to deception and fraud. Neptune is conjoined Venus, which rules the fourth house, and this seems to say that the ruse was played on family or involved a family in some way. But from my knowledge, Brian had a girlfriend he loved dearly and had a father and a brother left, who are all still searching for him. Unless, of course, Brian had another family? Is this possible? Is there a woman somewhere with children? Or an ex wife? The chart does not say this clearly, but there are hints here and there. And I am not saying this is a sure thing.. it is just suggested by the chart that a deception was being played out and that it involved family... someone's family, not necessarily Brians. Just someone's. Beyond that, I am not sure what this implies. However, one must remember that this was April 1st or April Fool's Day and many cruel jokes are often played.



Watching the seventh house, in the hopes of seeing who he is with, I note that Saturn, Brian's marker, is disposed of by the Sun, which is in the third house. He is getting into a car. Every chart I look at shows that gets into a car. Along with this, I remind that Cancer rules the seventh house and the Moon is placed in the fourth. This is a sure sign that Brian accompanied this person to his or her home. The Moon seems to point to a woman but I won't swear on it. Venus rules the fourth house cusp so it's a strong possibility that either the woman lived in the home alone or was present with the men arrived. It looks like they went in someone else's car, not Brians. As another point of interest, I must point out the opposition between Mars and Pluto. At this point, this aspect has not come into play. But it is like a buried bomb; if at anytime these planets move into the foreground or end up ruling an angle, then this aspect will blow up and most likely in violence. So this is an aspect we must watch as the hours move the ascendant along. From the progressions I see that they get out of the car and enter the house sometime between 2:30 and 3 in the morning. And up until now, he seems fine and to be going along willingly. Moving everything far into the morning and drawing a chart for 3:30 am, I see that Aquarius takes the ascendant and Uranus moves into the first. Leo on the seventh puts the Sun in the second house, conjoined to the node. This is a sure sign that Brian is where he wants to be; he is there because he chose to go there. At this point, I see money coming into play again, as if this is where they discuss the cost or price of something. There is definitely a focus on money, as if they went there so someone could repay a debt or pay someone for something. However, it is in this chart that I first see a sign of danger; not a huge dark one, though, just a hint. Uranus, Brian's marker, is now conjoined Mercury which rules the eighth house. The eighth house cusp, in turn, is now moving towards a square with the transiting Mars-Pluto opposition. Not good. Not a guarantee Brian will die but scary nonetheless.




And then it is between 4:00 and 5:00 in the morning that the charts take a dark turn. The aspect I've been watching, Mars opposite Pluto, has moved into the fourth/tenth house axis. The ascendant moves onto Pisces and Neptune falls immediately into the twelfth. Saturn lingers in the sixth and Pluto's dispositor, Jupiter, has moved into the eighth. Brian is in grave danger at this point; the chart is beginning to form a death pattern. And a violent death pattern as well. Notice also that the transiting Moon in Taurus has just completed an opposition with Jupiter from the second house. It is also just beginning to square Neptune in the twelfth. This is an argument over money. Somebody didn't produce something they promised or someone didn't have the money that was expected. And Brian is killed over it. Mars in Gemini, Jupiter in Sagittarius and Neptune in Aquarius makes me think he was stabbed. Somebody grabbed a knife or other utensil and went at him in a fit of rage. It does not look planned to me. I can see nothing but Brian going along willingly, with no danger at all up until this hour. Notice how the seventh house ruler, Mercury, is conjunct to Uranus right at the ascendant. This was sudden, unexpected and unplanned. This person flipped out, grabbed a sharp instrument and killed Brian. It's that strange and yet that simple. Scary. And it looks again a lot like theft. I think they lured him there with the promise of something and he brought money. Then they killed him over the money. I do not think they planned to kill him; I think they planned to rob him, maybe knock him out. But they realized they could not do it without being caught if they left him alive, this man took things into his own hands and killed Brian right there.



And so now the charts have taken a dark turn and this makes me sad. I was really hoping, up until this last hour or so, that he had just taken off and would come back some day. However, with Saturn ruling the ascendant for most of the night and being retrograde in motion, it is traditional to read that as a "never return". Often, with that aspect, the body is never even found; this due to the rulership of the bones by Saturn. They literally remain buried so long they just disintegrate or end up destroyed by outside activities like backhoes, animals or fires. But I must also say that I hope his brother does not read this and if he does, he discards my findings because this is the worst part of working with these cases, when you have to say ugly things. I am only hoping to find out whether Astrology can be helpful in these cases, I am not trying to ruin lives. Perhaps Astrology is not helpful at all and this is all just another exercise in my own lifelong studies. Not every test in the lab comes out correctly. I really hope in this case I am flat out wrong. As always, I welcome other readers to view these charts and give a different story. I look forward to it. And with that said, I must move forward and see what else I find here, most especially who this person is who killed this young man and then consciously went about disposing of him in secret. This person is a murderer and must be brought to justice. And so I will make my usual sorry stab at describing the killer and then I will try to see where he left Brian when all was said and done.

At the time of death, according to the sky charts, Mercury ruled the seventh cusp and Mercury was in Pisces, conjunct to Uranus. By the way, these planets were right at the ascendant, telling me that this person looked Brian right in the eye and did not sneak up on him. This was a face to face fight. But Uranus here describes a person who is unpredictable and unusual. With Mercury, he may have been a very bright man but not always a good one. In fact, this placement is the marker of the brilliant con man or criminal who steals, sells dope and lies for a living and always stays one step ahead of the law. Pisces describes somebody fleshy and short, a little on the plump side, probably with dark hair and light eyes. Also I would say they have rounded, soft features. With Uranus, there is something unusual about this man; near Mercury, I would say he had odd looking eyes or a scar or other marking over or around one or both eyes. He may wear offbeat glasses and have an unusual style of hair. There is no doubt that there would be something standout about him, something that people don't easily forget. Because Brian went willingly with these people and he died in a face to face fight with this man, those looking for the killer should consider closely Brian's circle of friends. Most especially someone who worked in the Ugly Tuna or knew someone who did.



And then I move into the area of trying to discover what this man did with Brian after he killed him. I see in the charts between 5 and 6 in the morning, they put Brian in a car. They took him down the road and then pushed him out. This is shown in these charts by Aries on the ascendant and Mars moving from the fourth house into the third. Then by 6:30 am, Mars moves out of the third into the second. And it is in the sign Gemini. This means that Mars in Gemini ends up defining the area where Brian was pushed out of the car. This combination points at various kinds of places, such as, for instance, a library with a war memorial nearby or a cannon in a park in the same area or even metal statues right in front of the library. Is there a library in the area with these kinds of war memories or weapons displays? Perhaps a military library or a place where they store records of munitions? If not, then consider also a nursery or public gardens with herbs, onions, garlic or hops or red peppers. He could be buried in a garden with these types of plantings. Other areas where he may have been taken include a mountain where there is a mineral mine, he might be left in an abandoned mine shaft. Also consider a military operated laboratory with scientific instruments, if there is a military base nearby that does research. Other places that should be considered are tennis or badminton courts in a park area with outdoor grills or fire pits; there might also be a gun or archery range. And then the simplest of all: a large field with red blooms; bright red eye catching flowers! Any of these sorts of places can be indicated by Mars in Gemini. Only people who live in that area would know which of these things might apply.

And, again, I must admit that I hope I am wrong. His father and brother miss him very much and I feel badly that I have seen his death in the charts. But since they have never found a body nor do they have an evidence of his death, we can assume that Brian may very well be alive. In that spirit, please look at his photo and commit it to memory.
