Katelyn Markham

No one believes 22-year-old Katelyn Markham would simply disappear on her own. She was known as both pragmatic and responsible. Not only was she about to graduate next month from the Art Institute of Cincinnati, but she also held jobs at the school and David's Bridal...
She was last heard from on August 13. She'd spent the evening with her fiance, John Carter. Later that night, when she was back at the town home she shared with her father in Fairfield, Ohio, she texted John a photo at 12:52 a.m.
The next morning, John sent her a good morning text. She didn't respond, but he simply assumed she was busy working at David's Bridal. But when he kept texting her that morning and she didn't respond, he knew something was wrong.
He left work to find her car still at the town home. A check of the house found nothing amiss. Katelyn wasn't there, and the only thing apparently missing was her cell phone. Her dog was found locked in a bedroom.
No one seems to believe Katelyn would leave on her own. She and John were planning to move to Colorado in November after she graduated from school.
Moreover, she left her purse and car keys behind. But when friends and family tried to call her phone, they found it turned off. The phone's GPS device had also been turned off.
Police don't seem to know what to make of her disappearance. There were no signs of a struggle at the home. But if they have any theories on what happened to Katelyn, they're playing them close to the vest.

Katelyn's relatives believe she was abducted. Her bed appears as though it was slept in the night she went missing. They believe she answered a knock at the door while she was sleeping, only to be kidnapped. I am not going to say what I think but I am going to show you what the charts say. They are interesting, to say the least. In the chart for 3 am, which is close to the 2:52 am time that her boyfriend said he received a text from her, you can see that someone has entered the home. The seventh house ruler, Saturn in Libra, is just entering the fourth house. The movement of a planet from the fifth to the fourth in these situations often tells us that he came in through a window, most likely a bedroom window. Mercury rules the fourth house from the third house so this was a temporary home for her but Mercury is in a fixed sign, Leo, so this is not a trailer or moveable home but most likely a brick and mortar. So this person has entered through her bedroom window. You can see Mars right at the Ascendant, which tells me that this person presented himself to Katelyn immediately. He came right into her bedroom and confronted her. The Moon is the chart co ruler and also the ruler of the first house. This makes the Moon the marker for Katelyn. You can see that it is in the ninth house in the sign Aquarius. She lived on the second floor of the building or slept in a loft. So this means he had to scale the building somehow or climb up stairs to get to her. This is a clue that might be useful if there had been sightings of people in the area. Anyways, he confronted her immediately. The Moon is disposed of by Uranus in Aries in the tenth so she may have run off, in an attempt to escape him, after being shocked by his intrusion.
Looking closely at this chart, you can see that Saturn in Libra is disposed of by Venus in Leo in the third. This implies that his purpose for being there was "a girl" or "a woman". Venus in Leo implies he has seen her before, admired her, found her attractive. Venus is also one minute from the Sun, putting it under the Sun's beams, which implies that his intentions were very dangerous for her. She was in grave danger from this man. The fourth house ruler, Mercury, in the third, also seems to indicate that he has a car outside and since Mercury is closely conjoined the Sun and Venus, I would guess that he brought the car to use in the abduction. And this is what this looks like, an abduction, so I am now inclined to say her parents are right. This man came into her home and took her. Mars in Cancer disposed of by her marker, the Moon, again re informs us that he was here for her and nothing else.
Right away, in the chart for 3:10 am, I can see a death pattern. This does not necessarily mean that she died as early as 3:30 am, but that is possible. It does mean, however, that she would die shortly. She would not be kept alive long. The Moon in the eighth with Mars in the twelfth along with Saturn in the fourth (although Saturn is also his marker) are strong indicators. The strange thing I notice is that Saturn in Libra is almost exactly trine to the Moon in Aquarius. This means that they have had a positive relationship in the past and may even have been romantically involved. Venus in Leo opposes the Moon in Aquarius so perhaps she was unhappy and cut it off. Mars in Cancer is opposing Pluto in Capricorn (placed at the seventh house cusp) so this is telling me that this man was very angry. Angry enough to get violent. Angry enough to do this; to take her and kill her. Also, Pluto is disposed of by Saturn, reinforcing the idea that he came here to do this, to act out in violence on this girl.
Mercury is in the third until almost 4 am. So this indicates he drove her somewhere and since Leo rules the third house they left in a red or a green car. Leo is a fixed sign so this is a standard type vehicle and not a sports car although Leo is flashy at times so look for something eye catching about the car. There may be artwork or bright stickers on the car. Something that expresses the opinions or tastes of the driver. Mercury in Leo describes movement to the east with a northerly drift. East by north. Mercury leaves the third house for the second house within a few degrees and since Mercury is flexible and Leo is fixed, then you would say that this was a distance of about 8 miles or so, taking their time, possibly as long as 45 minutes or an hour. Mercury is retrograde so he took his time, possibly to berate her. Venus in Leo can be insanely stubborn so there was no talking to this man or changing his mind. He was fixed in his mission. Saturn is also a planet that is intractable and usually locked into a position, even in a cardinal sign like Libra. In fact, Saturn in Libra is driven by a desire for justice so it is very likely that this man thought that this was justice, that she deserved what he was going to do to her. He was there to mete out justice as he saw it.
Mercury moves into the second house and this shows him either dumping her body or taking her somewhere. So looking closely at the chart, I see that Leo rules the second house, as well. This describes the location. This is either a wooded area that is thick enough to look like a forest or it is a desert area. It may be a public park with both sandy, desertlike areas and thickly wooded areas. There may also be a government building nearby or directly on this property and there may be a place of amusement also there or nearby. This park, desert or forest area would have lots of wildlife, even larger wildlife and possibly feral cats and / or larger wild cats. There may also be a fireplace outside. I think, looking at the fourth house and the ongoing placement of Saturn, that he moved her to another location, some building that he either lives himself or stays at from time to time. Libra can indicate movement and change so it is possible that this was a temporary home or a place he visited occasionally. And he kept her there, dead or alive, until almost 5:30 am, when the charts show him on the move again.
In the chart for 5:20 am, I see him moving her again and this time, she is dead. She may have already been dead or alive when he brought her here but there is a strong possibility that she is dead at this point. Notice that the new ruler of the seventh house is Uranus and it has moved into the ninth house. This shows him outside now rather than still in the home (as the charts have shown until now). Combine this with the movement of Saturn into the third, we see him moving what appears to be her body. Uranus in Aries can show the retreats or hideaways of outlaws and criminals so perhaps this place is where he hides and does illegal things. I am not sure what those activities would be but they could be illegal and he does them here, in a place out of the way and more private. The charts seem to say that he may be engaged in illegal activity and he may be doing it at this "retreat" or "hideout". Again, Aries is indicative of fireplaces, both inside and outside, and this dovetails with the markers for Mercury and Venus in Leo. These could be fireplaces or chimneys, both inside and outside, so I would encourage people looking for Katelyn to look for areas with fireplaces, chimneys, grills or other areas for burning or cooking things. This combines with the descriptors given already. At this point, Uranus in Aries is disposed of by Mars in the twelfth house, showing his purpose to likely be to dispose of or bury her body, with the intent of hiding her. Mars in Cancer is the only water sign marker in the chart so it is possible he dumped her in a body of water nearby. But I am inclined to think otherwise, mostly because Saturn in Libra (her body) is disposed of by Venus in Leo in the first house, making me think he wanted to put her somewhere where he could visit her. He wanted her near to him, perhaps to gloat or to just maintain a relationship with her. He wanted a memorial.
So it does seem likely that he buried her in that area where she would be near to his temporary home. This home may be a cabin, a short term rental, a timeshare, even, but someplace he was able to visit on a regular basis but does not live there. Also, this is not a trailer or RV or other movable home. This is a brick and mortar or other unmovable structure. It is located near to this park or this forest or desert area. I do not think there are deserts in Ohio so I am more inclined to believe the charts are describing a public park with sandy, desert like areas combined with heavily forested areas. There would be wild animals in that park, even larger ones, and many feral cats as well as larger wild cats. Also there should be a government building on the property or very close by. Look for outdoor chimneys, fireplaces, fire pits. Her body will not be burned because he wants to visit her and imagine a relationship with her. He may very well have taken a trophy, as well; Leo implies something gold. He may have taken gold jewelry.
Did this girl have a stalker? An ex boyfriend who was angry and wouldn't go away? Or perhaps an admirer or someone who had asked her out and she had rejected him? This is the man who took her. Saturn in Libra describes someone who is attractive and conceited. This man is good looking so he assumes everyone wants him. Rejection is hard for him to handle. He has an inflated idea about Katelyn, Venus in Leo says he puts her on a pedestal. Moon in Aquarius describes her indifference. She was just not interested in this man. He has a nice body, as they say, probably into body building or other body sculpting methods, posing and being "into" himself. Weight lifting for body enhancement could be a hobby. He would have large bones and be very strong. He would easily overpower Katelyn. This man would be argumentative. He would love to debate his ideas and would be witty and fairly intelligent. He would have refined tastes with a love of art and design. He would have many feminine qualities and there may be aspects of his appearance that appear feminine, such as long eyelashes or bow shaped lips, this type of thing. This man can be extremely opinionated and must be boss all the time, on top of everything and telling other people what to do. Being judgemental is a serious weakness and a protective ego is another; he can criticize and scorn others but cannot abide this when it happens to him. He is very open minded on the one hand, being generous with what he feels is justice and fairness. But on the other, he has trouble seeing the truth in other peoples' opinions and can drive people crazy with his attempts to convince them otherwise. There is a jealous streak and a tendency to be suspicious. He is quite capable of revenge. This is what I think this was. Personal revenge on Katelyn Markham for something he perceived as being unfair. He killed her over a personal slight; I am pretty sure of it.
Although the death patterns are fairly strong in these charts, there is always a very slim possibility that he is keeping her alive. He may be planning on killing her later. But even so, she is being held in the place as described by the chart and being subjected to ongoing revenge. I am pretty sure she is dead and buried in that park or wooded area but there is always a chance that the signs showing him visiting her may give hope that she is still alive and he is visiting her in this hideaway where she is being kept hostage rather than visiting a gravesite. So it is imperative that they really try to find her. I am hoping some small thing in this chart might help. They need to bring Katelyn home.

Etan Patz

The six-year-old boy kissed his mother good-bye at 8 a.m. on May 25, 1979, and walked down two flights of steps into the crowded city street. The woman stood on the fire escape balcony, arms folded and patiently watched her son march toward the intersection of Prince and Greene Street.
She had just given him a dollar to buy a soda. His school bus stop was located only two blocks west from where he lived. This was the first time her son was allowed to walk the route unassisted. Prince Street is a tree-lined avenue in the SoHo neighborhood of Manhattan, which was undergoing a dramatic change in 1979. Originally an industrial area containing factories, warehouses and businesses, SoHo was being transformed into a trendy, much-desired neighborhood by young, upcoming professionals yearning to escape from the high rents of the Upper East Side. They came into the neighborhood with plenty of money and fresh ideas. They converted old manufacturing lofts into spacious, airy apartments. Broken-down warehouses became successful condominiums while abandoned factories became gourmet delis and trendy cafes.
The little boy with the big smile walked past storefronts carrying his oversized book bag. He glanced behind him to see his mom still watching from the distance. As the boy approached the corner, he turned his head. A wisp of fine brown hair blew into his face. Mother and son exchanged a brief, spontaneous smile. Beyond him, she could see a small group of his classmates waiting for the bus in the distance. She turned and went back upstairs to tend to her other two children. She would never see her son alive again.
The boys name was Etan Patz. Within the next few moments, Etan was stolen off SoHos busy streets. What actually happened to him and to where he was taken, remains a heart-breaking mystery. His fate, as of this writing, is still unknown. The Etan Patz case is the oldest, open missing child case in New York Citys history and probably one of the oldest in the nation. In 2003, suspicion irrevocably settled upon convicted child molester, Jose Antonio Ramos, 60, who is incarcerated in a Pennsylvania prison. In 2002, Etans long-suffering parents declared him legally dead and planned to sue Ramos in civil court. They did this to force him into a courtroom where they can ask Ramos under oath what happened to their son. Each year, on Etans birthday, his father sends a card to Ramos asking him, What did you do to our son?
Child abduction is the equivalent of a nuclear blast to a family. In many ways, having a child abducted and not ever knowing his or her true fate, like the Etan Patz case, is worse than the childs actual death. Etans father, Stanly Patz once wrote, In this crime, there was a beginning, but there is no end. This psychological limbo ensures the parents pain continues indefinitely. But thankfully, there are few cases as tragic as Etans. Most abductions, which this article will address, end with some type of finality. In some cases, it is the beginning of a life of grief to devastated parents.
Etan's case is still considered by the NYPD to be a cold case.

This case came back to me after a reader sent me the information. In 1979 I was a young woman who was not paying a lot of attention to these types of cases, being mostly concerned with the crimes committed against women my own age. I had my own concerns and only remember being vaguely aware of this child and his face on the milk cartons. I do remember, however, thinking that this was a good idea if it would help find missing kids. I did not drink milk and I still don't, being vegetarian most of my life, but I realized then that kids drink milk and their mothers are the ones who might see other kids when out and about so the exposure was in the right place. Anyways, this was a landmark case that brought nationwide attention to the plight of missing children, which, even then, was much larger than it should be. Who on earth is taking our children and why? It's a hard question to answer. So I was very intrigued by this case. Could Astrology give us insight into an unsolved case so old and heavily investigated? Let's see.
In the first chart, you can see what Etan is doing. Cancer is rising and the Moon is in the eleventh with Mercury. He is joining friends who are other children. This is exactly what was reported: he was heading towards a knot of children waiting on the bus. This little detail proves to me that this chart is viable. Now, the person he is next to meet is ruled by the seventh house, which is ruled by Capricorn and Saturn. Saturn is in the third within 8 degrees of the nadir. There was someone along the street there that was standing in front of housing units or other lodging. I remember New York City as having flats and step ups in various places along the avenues and in Soho, there were residential areas in the city along the streets. If there were housing or lodging units along this road, this is where this person was standing. On the street outside. This may be why it was so easy and fast for this person to snatch the child. One quick grab and in the door they go. But this is just another assumption on my part, which have often been proven wrong, so let's just go with the chart. It clearly shows that there was someone standing along the street in front of housing units or hotels as Etan moved towards the group of kids waiting for the bus.
The thing that gets my attention is the north node between Saturn and the nadir. This tells me that this person had sort of planned this; he or she had noticed that the children came along this route and that they were accessible and vulnerable there. There is no doubt that he or she had planned to take a child; whether or not they targeted Etan individually is unknowable. But Saturn is in Virgo and is disposed of by Mercury, the marker for the children, so it is an easy guess that the children were the purpose of this persons' being there. He or she no doubt planned to snatch a child. The Moon and Mercury, I must point out again, are closely conjoined, which indicates that perhaps any child could have been a victim there but that Etan happened to lag just far enough behind to be a target at the opportune moment. Another thing I must point out is the exact trine from the Moon and Mercury with the cusp of the eighth house, at 29 degrees of Capricorn. What does this tell you? Notice also that Saturn rules the cusp of the eighth house as well as the seventh, dovetailing the motivation of this individual. There IS a sexual component here; sex and death, they mix in the stars.
Considering this and looking things over closely, I note that both the Moon and Mercury are in conjunction with the Pleiades, the seven sisters. I have seen this fixed star configuration in the forefront of one violent murder chart after another. In fact, it was my ability to track it in the first of the Gainesville murders way back in 1990 that I knew that there would be more murders and that they would be on certain nights, at certain times. It was that well lit in those skies! And that case, like the case of Etan Patz, was destined to be a high profile case. So the Pleiades here, especially conjoined the Moon, sends up red flags for me. So does Caput Algol, the most violent star in the heavens, which is nearby as well. If I had one thing I would want people to do, I would want them to follow these fixed stars and not let their children or loved ones out of their site on days or nights when these stars were overhead, in the ascendant or near the natal planets. I am dead serious here. This chart has other markers as well. The Moon and Mercury are both under the Sun's beams so a child was in grave danger that morning, any child, not just Etan. Like I said, he happened to be at the right place at the critical moment and that's all. Although this was planned out, the target was unknown.
I must also point out that the chart is riddled with aspects to and from fixed stars. Geidi Prima, for instance, is in the first house exactly square Neptune in the fifth. This is a marker for rape. And then the fixed star, Manubrium, is in the seventh house trine to both the node and Saturn, which is the planetary ruler of the seventh. This fixed star points to the burning of bodies, arson and cremation. This may be what was done with Etan? I am not sure but it is possible. Now, looking back at the planets I note that the Moon and Mercury are both disposed of by Venus, which is nearby in the eleventh in the sign Taurus. Venus is in dignity and closely aligned with Mars. In turn, these two planets are in trine aspect to Saturn. This is a married couple who is nearby at the time, off to the side, perhaps, watching the kids, maybe even their own child as he or she boarded the bus. They may have been co conspirators, though, as the trine aspect shows facilitation. However, this could also be accidental. They may have distracted key witnesses at the time, allowing the abductor to abscond with the child unseen.
In the chart for 9 am, I notice subtle changes. The eighth house ruler is now Uranus, which is in Scorpio in the fifth house. Mars and Venus are now angular, ruling the tenth house / fourth house axis and both are positioned in the tenth. Jupiter in Leo is now rising into the first house and forming an angular square to Mars, Venus and Uranus. This is an interesting configuration. This is showing me a couple, male and female, who are parental type figures. The seventh house ruler, Saturn, is still trine to these planets as they move into angular positions, carrying over the relationship I glimpsed in the earlier chart. I am afraid I see a married couple or some other pairing of male and female and not a lone abductor such as the man who was claimed to have done this. It is possible this man, the confessor, was involved but there is no way, looking at this chart, that he did this alone. Pluto angular in the fourth, disposed of by the powerful Venus, points to violence and peculiar behavior in a home environment. The Moon is sinister to a square with Saturn which indicates that Etan resisted and there was an altercation between the boy and the man who took him.
The presence of the fixed stars seem to support the claim that Etan was killed. The charts do not specify his death on the same day as he was taken, which leads me to believe he was held for awhile before he was killed. This whole thing happened right there in the neighborhood (third house) and there are no markers for movement so I do not believe the child was taken out of the city. In fact, by 10 am, I see that the seventh house ruler becomes Uranus and this planet is in the fourth house, which indicates that all the activity went on inside someone's home. The movement of Uranus from ruling the eighth from the fifth to ruling the seventh from the fourth indicates the boy was taken for a sexual purpose and that this sexual purpose was acted out in a private residence; behind closed doors, so to speak. But none of this negates the power of both Venus and Mars, which continue to linger in the foreground. There were at least 3 people involved in this and there was more to it than a single man wanting to do nasty business with a child.
The chart for 10 am gives me a few more clues. The first house ruler has become the Sun, which is placed in Gemini in the eleventh. Etan's markers have never left the eleventh house and now it is disposed of by Mercury, which echoes the Moons' conjunction with Mercury in the earlier charts. This has Etan's markers consistently in conjunction with Mercury and tells me that Etan was not the only child there. He was with kids when he was taken and there were other kids in the place he went. I know this seems far fetched but this is what I see here. Etan was taken to a home (fourth house) where there were other children, either resident there or taken there themselves (Mercury and Moon in the eleventh). And here is the thing. If you take into consideration that both the Moon and Mercury are disposed of by Venus, now in the tenth, it makes a case for a woman again. In fact, the mother of these other children? Or is the mother of the abductor? Or his wife? The child's babysitter? It's hard to tell. But there is just no doubt in my mind that these people were co conspirators in this case and whether or not you believe this confessor did it, I feel confident in asserting that he did not do this alone.
There are still no death aspects in the chart directly. True, there are fixed stars that conjoin planetary players and this indicates murder, at the least, and possibly even sadism or mayhem. Caput Algol in particular is bloody and ugly. At least, that has been my experience. So there is no doubt that somebody died this day in some fashion but I am not sure it was Etan. Perhaps it was another child? I admit this chart is getting a little crazy and it's hard to read to some extent but I think what I see is accurate. This is what the aspects say. I must also point out that at 10 pm, the seventh house ruler is Uranus and it's position in Scorpio in the fourth is scary. Pluto is knocking on the door as well, just beginning to conjoin and then quickly cross the nadir. But the first house, which represents Etan individually, is clean except for a lovely Jupiter at the ascendant. The Sun, which is his current marker, is in Gemini in the eleventh. The Sun is sextile to Jupiter and sinister to a square with Saturn. Jupiter has no sinister aspects besides a wide trine to Neptune and waning contacts from Venus and Mars. So it doesn't look like Etan is in imminent danger and neither does it appear that he was killed right away. But there is one omen that hangs in the air: the seventh house ruler, Uranus, also rules the eighth, so there is some nefarious purpose stinking up the mix. But the Moon and Mercury are dexter and waning in their opposition to Uranus and the nearest sinister aspect is a very wide square from Jupiter. I just don't see that Etan was murdered at this time. This does not rule out his murder at a later date. Perhaps they just weren't finished with him yet.
Now, as I've proven in many cases, the least of which was not the Caylee Anthony debacle, that I can read charts for days on end and follow times from hour to hour. This, however, has not proven to bring further light to the cases I read. A quick glance at the charts for 11 am and noon show nothing more than day to day activities. At 11, the cluster of planets in Taurus all shuffle into the tenth, showing a possibility that these people moved outdoors or at the least, left the house. They may well have moved the kids at that time. Pluto rules the nadir and it is in the third at 11 am, which indicates they moved the home location. In other words, they took the kids elsewhere. Probably to throw off the dogs that were no doubt on their trail. (They weren't, actually. His mother didn't even report him missing until 3 pm, when he failed to return home from school but the abductors did not know that). The chart for noon shows Neptune moving into the fourth house so it can be assumed that they put these kids in a home that was very well hidden or the part of a home that was secret or disguised. The seventh house ruler is still Uranus and it has moved into the third house so it might be theorized that they were moving these kids into adoption or adopting them themselves. I know this seems strange in light of the confessors story and the assumption that Etan was murdered but the charts do not show this. In fact, the more you read of them, the more confusing the case appears to become. So I am just not going to run through a hundred more charts here on this post. But I do promise to continue to look at this chart privately and if I come across anything more of value, I will post it.
So this is the part of the reading where I really get silly. I will attempt to describe the person who did this and given an idea of where they took Etan when they moved him. Charts are capable of rendering this information, it's just questionable if I am able to read them right on these sorts of details. I realize that the case seems all but sewn up with a man crowing in a prison cell that he murdered this beautiful child but I will still take a stab at the charts. Saturn in Virgo would be the marker for the abductor and the couple would be described by Venus and Mars in Taurus. Because of the dignity of Venus and the disposition of both planets by Venus, I tend to think this was a married couple or two people very much in love. Traditional readings for Saturn in Virgo give a tall, thin man. He would be swarthy of complexion or even sallow (yellowish in tint). This does not describe Mediterranean or Asian people exclusively; many whites are swarthy and I, myself, have been deemed a "honey" or "yellow" complexioned white. So please do not read this as racial profiling. Overall long features, such as a long nose, long fingers, lengthy lip line, etc.. and a high forehead, a feature generally attributed to Virgo. Because of the earth influences, we would assume dark or dark brown hair and eyes. In character, this person would be reserved, rather quiet and seemingly very serious. He or she would also be extremely discreet and cautious, which would aid them in the commission of these types of crimes. The Mercury influence also points to an affinity for younger people and perhaps also children. On the darker side, Saturn in Virgo in it's purity can incline towards mental disorders and brain diseases and give tendency towards thievery and duplicity. Dishonesty may be at the core of the personality. I realize that this tends to describe, in general, every single child molester on the planet; I mean, they would have to be discreet and devious and serious about their business to even begin this evil activity. But this generally supports the idea rather than destroys it although it does not lend much aid in isolating this man. However, I suppose, interested parties could compare this traditional analysis to the man who has claimed guilt for this crime. Please let me know what you find.

Distinguishing Characteristics: Scofield wore eyeglasses with gold-colored, teardrop-shaped frames at the time of her disappearance. Her upper incisor slightly overlaps her upper front tooth. She was missing one tooth when she was last seen in 1976. She has freckles across her nose. Scofield's nicknames are Dee and DeeDee (sometimes spelled "Dee-Dee"; or "DeDe"). Her middle name my be spelled "Delila" by some agencies.
Clothing/Jewelry Description: A red short-sleeved form-fitting shirt or body suit with a blue design, blue jeans, a leather belt with a metal buckle, and green tennis shoes.
Details of Disappearance:
Scofield and her mother left their Ocala, Florida residence together on July 22, 1976. Her mother took a driving test while Scofield returned a pair of sandals at a nearby shopping center. She also planned to buy a birthday present for her brother. Scofield returned the shoes and was last seen at the mall at approximately 2:00 p.m. that day. Scofield never met her mother at the designated location they had agreed on and she reported her daughter as missing. Scofield has never been seen again.
A witness reported having seen a girl matching Scofield's description two hours after she was reported missing. The child was in a convenience store with an adult male. They purchased two sodas and left. The child was shaking and appeared to be very frightened. She and the man with her were never identified and law enforcement authorities are not sure if she was Scofield.
Scofield lived with her family in a mobile home in Citra, Florida in 1976. Investigators do not believe she ran away from home; she was a good student and a churchgoer at the time of her disappearance and was not having any personal problems. There was some speculation at that time that her disappearance might be linked to the 1975 disappearances of Sheila and Katherine Lyon, but no evidence connecting the cases was discovered and all three remain unsolved.

This is a really cold case that everyone has pretty much just given up on. I vaguely remember this case being in the news and that's possible because this happened back in a day when you just didn't hear this sort of thing on the news every night. Especially not locally. Ocala is far north of my home but our local broadcasters are located just south of there. I am sure there was a bit of coverage. So it is very sad that it was never solved. Could she be another JC Duggard?
I want to thank my own personal super sleuth, Madena, for sending me so many great cases. This is one of those. There are two charts that need to be done in this case, one for the time she was last seen in the mall and one for the time when she was supposedly ID'd in a convenience store with TWO adult males. I have read several reports on this and they all put one man in the store and another in the car. I am of the personal belief that this last was an actual sighting of Dorothy in the company of her abductors. The clerk gave a very accurate description of Dorothy, down to the clothing she was wearing, before the cops told her anything about the girl. It is interesting that this involved two men. In my mind, this eliminates any of the previously suspected individuals because most of them were lone serial killers who would not invite someone else along. This would take a buddy system like the hillside stranglers or Bittaker and Norris. Killers don't kill some women alone and then bring a friend along for others. It just doesn't happen. Christopher Wilder, for instance, who was a suspect for a long time, did not EVER use an accomplice and I hate to point this out, but I feel I should, sweet, little Dorothy did not fit the profile of the gorgeous, older, "aspiring model" types that Wilder was known for snatching. Now, Tammy Lynn Leppert is more a possible victim of his and I am not convinced at this time that she was not.
Right away, I looked at every chart from 2 pm on. I am still not sure at what exact hour her mother reported her missing so I am not sure at what time she was seen with the man in the store. I started with 4 pm, which is 2 hours after the hour she was last seen and then went forward from there. What I saw right away was disturbing and familiar. I will show you in a minute. However, I did not see a death pattern in the first few charts, up to 6 pm, in fact, so I went ahead and ran charts for every hour until midnight to see if the directions went that way. And I will show you what they said when I get to them.
In the first chart, which was drawn for the time she was last seen in the mall, Scorpio is rising and Taurus is falling. Mars is in the eleventh, on the cusp of the tenth, Pluto is in the twelfth house, cusping the eleventh, and Venus is in the tenth with Mercury, close to the midheaven. The child is "out in the open" but possibly emerging from a more obscure area. Leaving the bathroom, perhaps. Perhaps this is when she was seen. The person who saw her appears to be a woman in a prominent position at the mall, such as a security guard, hall monitor, store owner or manager. I am thinking manager at a book store. But anyways, there was no exchange between her and the child, she simply recalls seeing her.
I am interested in knowing what exact time this child was supposed to meet her mother and where. In the chart for 4 pm, it looks like she went to a desk or office in the mall, somewhere she thought an authority might be- an authority like a security monitor, perhaps. She may have done this because she was lost.. or perhaps this is where she was to meet her mother. There was a man around there, a foreigner, who befriended her and said he would help her. Or perhaps he told her that her mother sent him or he was there because something had happened to her mother. It is hard to tell. This man was no doubt much older than Dorothy, the charts indicate he was an adult and not a teen. He was also attractive, articulate, clever and controlling. It is a few minutes after 4 pm when the second man appears; notice Gemini slipping onto the descendant with Mercury conjoined Venus. The thing that just grabs me is the mutual rulership of the tenth house, which gives me the impression that this man was an "authority" of some sort and perhaps even in a uniform. I know that the man in the store was not in a uniform or this would have been mentioned, but what about the driver? Did anyone see the driver?
The other prominent feature in the 4 pm chart is Neptune in the first house opposing the Moon in the seventh. This man used a clever ruse, he fooled this child. He lied about something and disguised himself in some way and she fell for it. Perhaps he wore a uniform only for the purpose of snatching a child. Perhaps that uniform went back to it's original place or went off with the trash man. But there was a guise of some sort and since the charts keep pointing towards "authorities" I cannot help but wonder. Do not forget that they also say he is foreign or, at the least, had a foreign accent.
At a few minutes after 4 pm, Sagittarius takes the Ascendant with Jupiter in the sixth. At this moment, Dorothy is in extreme danger. Jupiter, at it's current position, is within 2 degrees of the Pleiades, the "weeping sisters", which often point to tragedy. To boot, Saturn, Mercury and Venus are all under the Sun's beams. In this chart, we have a T square involving the Moon, Mars and Neptune. Mars is on the short leg of the T but the Moon is sinister, which makes it a translator of light. This child met this man under false pretences and it was her own beliefs that fooled her. She was sure she could trust him. But I am sure that by the time she had left the mall, she knew otherwise. The unfortunate exact opposition of the Moon and Neptune while the Moon was translating light from Mars to Neptune, is why the girl was so easily deceived.
Neptune is also within less than a degree of a conjunction with Dschubba, which is often a pointer at extreme danger and sometimes murder. In the chart for 5 pm, the Moon and Jupiter slip into the sixth house, showing great fear and extreme danger. Especially with Jupiter near the Pleiades and the Moon opposing Dschubba and Neptune. This poor little girl was smart enough to realize the danger she was in and I am sorry to report that she was terrified. The chart for 5 pm is telling in another matter as well. The seventh and tenth house ruler, Mercury, has moved into the eighth house along with a group of other planets, including the dispositor for the chart ruler. A tale is starting to emerge. The Sun is showing a "group leader" or instigator in the matter; the Sun disposes all the others so they are doing this because of this one man. The grouping in the eighth house gives an inkling of sexual purposes. Mercury co ruling the tenth hints at a business arrangement; could this be a porn ring or forced prostitution or some other form of slavery? It is possible, but let's see. Neptune is now in the twelfth, showing that they are hiding this child, not killing her, and that she still has no idea what her purpose is in their plans.
By 6 pm, the chart ruler, Jupiter, moves into the fifth house and it's dispositor is in the eighth. This combination points to sex. I believe this describes sexual contact. Venus is now the tenth house ruler but Mercury is now the seventh house ruler, maintaining the same configuration! This keeps the focus of the chart on a business arrangement. This whole abduction was for the purpose of procuring a child for a sex business. This is underlined by the conjunction between Mercury and Venus, still in the eighth house. Neptune, still in the twelfth house, is still disposed of by Jupiter, which is now in the fifth house. Another loop proving consistency. Child porn or something like this. Sex involving children. The fifth house, eighth house, Neptune, Jupiter and Mercury. Pretty clear. And so very sad.
Going forward from here, the chart for 7 pm shows Capricorn rising and Cancer falling with the Moon in the fifth. Saturn is in the seventh house with the tenth house ruler. The business "partners" are now altogether, with the child. The Moon in the fifth opposing Neptune in the eleventh tells me pictures or films are being made. The child's ruler, at this point in time, is Saturn and it is closely under the Sun's beams. The child is being held against her will, she is in danger and experiencing great fear. But none of the major players are applying to an aspect with Saturn so her danger is not that extreme. In fact, it is doubtful that they will kill her. Saturn is disposed of by the Sun, which rules the current eighth house cusp, so she will be held for sexual reasons. She is being used this way and will not be killed, at least not this night. Nothing much happens to change events in the next chart but in the charts for 9 and 10 pm, the first house ruler moves into the ninth house. This shows them transporting her to someplace far away. This travel configuration remains true in the charts for 10 and 11 pm, as well. They took her someplace far away, maybe even a foreign country. She could have gone by plane but the number of hours involved in the planetary transits shows it could have been by train. I do know, however, that it was not by car or bus and she is not in the immediate area any longer.
The ongoing square between the chart ruler and the rulers of the tenth and fourth houses show that she did not get along with her captors. She was a "handful", so to speak and made things difficult for them. The chart ruler is disposed of by Pluto, the tenth house ruler, which is now in the eighth house, showing that their motives remain the same. This is "business" and nothing more. The continuing opposition between the Moon and Neptune on the tenth/fourth house axis shows us that they are hiding her "out in the open". They are out in public with the girl, but she has been subdued. She is being taken to her "new home" and she is nervous and afraid. Now, the questions remain, where is this "new home" and who are her captors? How can they be identified? Well, I am willing to make a fool out of myself once again in an effort to describe where she went and who took her. I realize this is a totally imperfect and, so far, barely helpful, exercise but the purpose of this blog is research so that is what I am doing. So here goes.
There are conflicting pointers in this chart so I will try to balance it out. One pointer says she went southwest and another says southeast. Cities to be considered are West Palm Beach (southeast of Ocala) and Tampa (southwest of Ocala), both in Florida and both ruled by planets in the right places. If they left the country and headed south, the best guess is Argentina. The man or men who took this girl are signified by Mercury in Leo. Gemini as the cusp ruler at the time of the abduction shows multiple people involved. The man who actually snatched her would be a large man of medium height with light brown or dark blond hair. As I said earlier, he was using a ruse that made him look like an "authority", which possibly means a uniform. It is possible, also, that he worked at that mall. From all pointers, it looked like Dorothy was not the only child they nabbed. They had been doing this for awhile. I do not believe the charts show targeting or stalking. It was a crime of opportunity, that is all. The node in a sensitive position in the chart says that this was a sudden event; they simply saw a little girl when they were looking for one and they had a good story, one that she readily believed.
Now, here's the thing. I do not believe they killed her. I believe they took her some place far from home and set up camp. She was likely one in a long line of girls used for their dirty business but I do not think they were murderers. They may have sold her, used her for awhile and let her go, when she may have been addicted to drugs and used to "the life". She may be a streetwalker or drug addict in a place far from her home. Dorothy's birth chart shows a cluster of planets in Capricorn and Aquarius. I don't have the birth time or exact location so the chart is general and not precise. But there are no strong aspects from the transiting chart to the birth placments. Transiting Uranus is sinister to a conjunction with her birth Moon in Scorpio but Uranus is not a player in the event chart. However, it has been my experience that women born with Moon in Scorpio are often the victims of sexual abuse. I have seen countless charts that support this. That is not to say that all women with Moon in Scorpio will be victims, just that it is a often seen thing in charts. But one good sign is the trine from her birth Jupiter to the grouping of planets that rule her captors in the event chart. This tells us that she was able to find joy in her life over time and even come to terms with the people who took her.

Haleigh Ann Marie Cummings

Florida issued a statewide Amber Alert this morning for Haleigh Cummings, discovered missing from her bedroom at 3:37 am this morning in Putnam County, Florida. See her photo and read about her below. SATSUMA / BUFFALO BLUFF, FLORIDA
Haleigh Ann-Marie Cummings age 5, was last seen at 10:00pm last night by her fathers live-in girlfriend, 19 year old Misty Croslin. Haleigh’s father, Ronald Cummings, is alleged to have been at work during this time.
Haleigh is 3 feet tall with blond hair and brown eyes. Her ears are pierced and she was last seen wearing a pink shirt and underwear. Her birth date is 8/17/2003. Her younger brother was asleep in the same room at the time Haleigh went missing. Ms. Croslin said she awakened around 3:30 a.m. and discovered Haleigh missing when she checked on the children. She stated the bedroom door was open, and that the home had not been locked.
She is considered missing/endangered.
The family lives in a mobile home community in Florida called River Villa. An estimated 25 registered sex offenders live in the immediate vicinity of the Cummings home.
A massive search that began this morning is still underway.
“The girlfriend and the father are cooperating with police,” Special Agent Steve Donaway of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement told an afternoon news conference.
Mr. Cummings believed he saw signs of a force entry into the home but the police have ruled that out. Police also stated that Haleigh Cummings biological mother is cooperating with them.
Cummings says Haleigh is afraid of the dark and would not venture out alone.
While this sounds ominous folks, let’s not forget that miracles happen, and that its entirely possible that little Haleigh will be found soon and reunited with her family.

At first, I did not want to do this case. I ran the charts on it when I first heard of it and was confounded by the complex aspects and placements, many of them indicating that things would change rapidly. I never like doing cases right away after they happen, to give the police and the family some time to figure things out before I put my big foot in my mouth. I cannot claim that I make a difference with this blog, which was started as an experiment in Astrology and nothing more, but I have collected a lot of critics. I have to agree with many of them on one thing. I am in the public arena and what I say affects people and in that fashion, it matters. So I am careful to let things take their course for awhile before I start reading charts. However, I must admit that the charts don't change over time. If a person is dead, they are dead and no amount of time waiting things out will change that. I just hate to get people so upset. So I did do a brief reading and posted it on the newsletter, which is read only by subscribers, where I felt freer to say what I saw. But enough time has passed and this little darling has not been found, so maybe it's ok to see what the charts might offer.
For those of you who noticed that I fell out of step on this site, I apologize for delays. I attempted to upgrade the memory in my computer and had some bad memory I bought ( I won't name the site ) which caused the computer to go into safe mode. Windows gave protection errors and the bios was locked, which are all way over my head. So, in the short, Betsy went to the hospital. She just came back last night and I can say she is running really well. So thanks for the patience and I hope I haven't lost too many of you along the way. The newsletter, I am sure, will be very close to "on time" and should be mailed out around the 15th. With all of that said, let me leap into the charts
I have Haleigh's birth information so I wanted to take a look at that first thing before I gave the forensic chart a reading. I do not have birth time so I settled for a solar chart, which is somewhat useful if not the best tool. One thing I knew about this transiting period was that a cluster of major planets were travelling through Aquarius, as they mostly still are today. And seeing right away that Haleigh was a Leo with several personal planets in Leo, I saw contention and trouble in her transiting aspects. Venus, for instance, is in 23 degrees of Leo and at this time, Neptune was transiting 23 degrees Aquarius EXACTLY. Neptune plays a part in some of the forensic charts, as you will see. Transiting Saturn in Virgo is within one degree of Haleigh's natal Mercury. Both Mercury and Saturn also play major roles in the forensic charts. Transiting Pluto in Capricorn is widely opposite natal Saturn in Cancer, which is not good. Haleigh's natal Moon in 26 degrees Aries is EXACTLY squared by transiting Mercury in Capricorn. As well, her natal Neptune in Aquarius is being conjoined by the transiting North Node, as well as Jupiter and Mars.
In particular, the aspects involving Neptune, Mercury and Saturn all stand out for me. Neptune points at mysteries and secrets. Mercury is the traditional ruler of children. Saturn is the ruler of fate, destiny and death, as well. That transiting North Node moving over onto Neptune almost looks like her fate is to remain a mystery. However, at the time of this event, the Node had backed up to 9 degrees while the natal position is at 11 degrees. Because the Node backs up through the zodiac, this is actually a dexter aspect and not as powerful as it could be.
The first time I worked with in this case was the time when they say Haleigh was put to bed. 8 pm, Feb 9, 2009 in Satsuma. Virgo is rising and Pisces if falling. Because Misty was the adult / caretaker present at the time, I am using the first house for her and the seventh house for Ronald Cummings, who was her partner and the father of the child. I am encouraged to do it this way be the presence of Neptune in the sixth house, showing me that this person was at work, which the facts show Ronald was in fact. In most traditional forensic charts, I would use the first house for Ronald, the seventh house for Misty and the fifth house for Haleigh. Because the circumstances call for it and the chart encourages it, I am inclined to reverse the angles. Especially when I also note that Neptune is also conjoined the Sun.
Notice Saturn, the fifth house ruler, at the first house cusp. This tells me that Haleigh was, at that time, with Misty. The first house ruler, Saturn, is in the fifth house. Showing her taking care of the kids. Jupiter, the fourth house ruler, is also in the fifth. It's interesting to see Mars in the fifth but playing no role in the chart, which seems to say that the boy child was present but not important in this matter. The fifth house ruler, Saturn, is disposed of by Mercury, which is the first house ruler. Misty's main concern at this time is Haleigh, the child in question. There is nothing specific that says why this is so. Since this makes Saturn and Mercury in mutual reception, we can see that there was an exchange between Misty and Haleigh, important, but in no way dangerous or scary. In this same chart, the Moon, which is Haleigh's co ruler in this chart, is in the twelfth, sort of reinforcing the claim that she was being "put to bed".
I took a peek at the 9 pm chart and saw a few things that I might share. With all the talk that Misty left the home that evening, I am seeing the first house ruler moving through the fourth house at 9 pm, which says that she was still in that home at this hour. Pluto is hovering over the fourth house cusp, a position that grabs my attention and gives me pause. Neptune is on the cusp between the fifth and sixth houses, showing Ronald still at work but not working. A break, perhaps? One thing I must mention is that the child's ruler, the fifth house ruler, is just now becoming Uranus. This planet is in the sixth house and bears watching. But nothing untoward has happened yet so I move on quickly. The chart for 10 pm would also be considered the time at which Haleigh was last seen alive as that was the last time Misty says she saw her. Supposedly she was sleeping in her bed and Misty got into her own at 10. But here's the thing. Aries has slipped onto the seventh house cusp and Mars has entered the fourth. Mars is disposed of by Uranus, the child's current ruler. The first house ruler is Venus and it is now in the sixth. Uranus, as well, has slipped into the sixth. This combination paints a strange picture for me. Some male has entered the home. His purpose appears to be Haleigh. But it looks like Misty is "working" to me, so what does this mean? Actually, Venus is disposed of by the same Mars, so it not only looks like she's "working" but that she works for this man who has come to the home. I know this seems nutty and perhaps it is but this is what the charts are saying.
The Moon, Haleigh's co ruler in the forensic chart, is in 28 degrees Leo, close to her natal Sun and Jupiter. I do not believe that Haleigh was hurt or killed on this night nor that anyone had any ill will towards her. There was something else going on. This man who came to the home was there on an invite and somehow his appearance had something to do with "work". With Neptune in the fifth in mutual reception with Uranus in the sixth, I am tempted to guess that sex or drugs had something to do with this. Could it be that Misty was buying or selling drugs for someone? Or having sex for money? Or having sex to pay back a debt? I mean, any of these things? Neptune is a continuous influence in the forensic charts, telling me that drugs may have well played a role. Was Haleigh taken as a payback on a drug deal? I know that sounds crazy but, at the same time, it sounds eerily familiar in the light of recent cases.
But I do not see in these charts, so far, that Haleigh has been taken yet. In the chart for midnight, I see her ruler in the fourth house. However, there is an interesting twist. The first house ruler, which is now Mars, has moved into the third house. So Misty did leave the home, as people have been claiming. She walked through the neighborhood or took a ride in a car sometime between 11 pm and midnight. Haleigh's ruler, Neptune, is in the fourth house, closely conjoined to the Sun, her brother. Pluto, co ruler of the first, is in the second. So Misty has left the home to get money, to pay somebody money or to work out a deal about money. Pluto is disposed of by Saturn in the eleventh so this is a friend of hers, not a stranger or a threatening person. But in this same chart, I see Venus, the current seventh house ruler, moving through the fifth house. So someone else is with the kids. Venus is disposed of by Mars in the third, also Misty's ruling planet, showing that this person is actually there because of Misty. Is this the same person who entered the home earlier? I am just not sure.
Then things change quickly in the hour between midnight and 1 AM. All of these planets slide into the third, including the first and fifth house rulers. Misty and Haleigh are together but they have left the home. They are either in a car or walking in the neighborhood. They are not alone. They are with an older male and another child. Pluto, the co ruler of the first house, is in the second, showing once again a concern over money. And the Moon, Haleigh's co ruler, is right at the tenth house cusp. This shows Haleigh going outside, into the open. The Moon is disposed of by Mercury, also situated in the third. Rounding things out, Saturn rules the third house and is placed in the angular tenth house. This shows that they are out in the open, on a roadway, easily visible to other people and they were not alone. Although this jibes with stories that have been told about Misty being outside of the trailer on this night, why did none of these tales include Haleigh? The chart clearly shows the child moving about outside, in Misty's company. This is, of course, if we can assume that the child was with Misty and not someone else at this time. It is possible that the first house placement is transferred to a different "caregiver" if a transfer of the child actually occurred.
From these charts, I can see that Haleigh was not killed or harmed in any way on this night. She was taken in a transfer of sorts, from Misty to someone else, either inside the home or in the neighborhood. This is not meant to imply that Misty was "in on it" but that somehow her possession of the child transferred to someone else, for whatever reason and in whatever fashion. It is hard to say the child was outright stolen because I see Misty in the home but she is not alone some of the time and I do not see her asleep, but somehow in a car or out on a street in the later hours. But remember that this is just a reading of Astrology charts and I may read them correctly and I may not. I leave that open to the Astrologers who read my blog to make their own determinations. And in the my usual fashion, I will attempt to describe this man who entered the home, with or without Misty's permission. This in the belief that Haleigh was in fact taken from Misty without her knowledge. Since he is defined by Mars in Aquarius, here are a few descriptors with which to experiment. Mars in Aquarius would describe a tall, muscular person with sandy blond or red hair. Light eyes, well shaped features, attractive. This is a very independent, energetic person who has a fondness for science and intellectual studies. He may also be very reckless, rude and unreliable. He can be vulgar and coarse and might be a "false friend" or a person who makes promises and does not fulfill them. He could easily tell a friend one thing and do another.
I do believe, from this reading, that the child is still alive. I am concerned that she may have been traded off for money or to pay off debts. However, I do not believe that she was taken to be killed. I do not see sexual aspects, so I don't think it's porn. However, I do see drug aspects and this bothers me. I am unwilling to say that Misty is involved outright, but that she may have allowed something to happen that she now regrets. And with the preponderance of planets moving into the third house, I am inclined to believe that she is a nearby neighborhood. She is really not far from home at all. In any instance, this child could be anywhere and those of you who care should look at her face and remember it. And if you have any information, or think you may have seen or heard something useful, please do the right thing and call the police at the number given above. Everyone needs to know that she is still alive and well.
