Three eight-year-old boys - Steve Branch, Christopher Byers, and Michael Moore - were reported missing on May 5, 1993. The first report to the police was made by Byers' adoptive father, John Mark Byers, around 7:00 pm. The boys were last seen together entering Robin Hood Hills around 6:00 pm by a neighbor. Initial police searches made that night were limited. Friends and neighbors also conducted an impromptu but unsuccessful search that night, which included a cursory visit to the location where the bodies were ultimately found.
A more thorough police search for the children began around 8:00 am on the morning of May 6, aided by Crittenden County Search and Rescue personnel. Searchers canvassed all of West Memphis, but focused primarily on Robin Hood Hills, a frequent playground for children and the last location where the boys were reported seen. Despite a human chain making a shoulder-to-shoulder search of Robin Hood Hills, searchers found no sign of the missing boys. Search and Rescue personnel broke for lunch at 1:00 pm, but police and others continued searching.
Around 1:45 pm, Juvenile Parole Officer Steve Jones spotted a boy's black shoe floating in a muddy creek that led to a major drainage canal in Robin Hood Hills. A subsequent search of the ditch found the bodies of three boys. They were stripped naked and had been hogtied with their own shoelaces: their right ankles tied to their right wrists behind their backs, the same with their left limbs. Their clothing was found in the creek, some of it twisted around sticks that had been thrust into the muddy ditch bed. The clothing was mostly turned inside-out; two pairs of the boys' underwear were never recovered. All of the boys had been severely beaten on their heads and faces, and Byers had a fractured skull. He also had deep lacerations and injuries to his scrotum and penis.
The original autopsies were inconclusive as to time of death,[citation needed] but the Arkansas medical examiner determined that Byers died of blood loss, and Moore and Branch drowned.[6] A later review of the case by a medical examiner for the defense determined that the boys had been killed between 1:00 am and 5:00 am on May 6, 1993.
The official interpretation of the crime scene forensics for the case remains controversial. Prosecution experts claim Byers' wounds were the results of a knife attack and that he had been purposely castrated by the murderer; defense experts claim the injuries may have been the result of animal predation. Police suspected the boys had been raped or sodomized; later expert testimony disputed this finding despite trace amounts of sperm DNA found on a pair of pants recovered from the scene. Police believed the boys were assaulted and killed at the location they were found; critics argued that the assault, at least, was unlikely to have occurred at the creek.

Byers was the only victim with drugs in his system; he was prescribed Ritalin in January 1993, as part of an attention-deficit disorder treatment. (The initial autopsy report describes the drug as Carbamazepine.) The dosage was found to be at sub-therapeutic level, which is consistent with John Mark Byers' statement that Christopher Byers may not have taken his prescription on May 5, 1993

The 3 boys Stevie (not sure if it’s Steve or Steven) Branch, Christopher Byers(adopted last name), & Michael Moore were last seen by a neighbor going in the woods called Robin Hood Hills where they were later found around 6p on 5/5/93 and the 1st call to the police was at 7p. They weren’t found until the next day. Also on 5/5/93 at 8:42 pm, workers in the Bojangles' restaurant about a mile from the crime scene (a direct route through the bayou where the children were found) in Robin Hood Hills reported seeing an African American male "dazed and covered with blood and mud" inside the ladies' room of the restaurant. The man was bleeding from his arm and had brushed against the walls. The man had defecated on himself and on the floor. The police were called, but the man left the scene. Defense attorneys later referred to this man as “Mr. Bojangles”. The police never went inside the restaurant that night but went back the next day after finding the dead boys. They eventually lost the “Mr. Bojangles” evidence before it could be tested.
Basically on May 5th 1993, three 8 year old boys went missing, they were found the next day in a drainage ditch naked and tied up… They didn’t have much to go on and seemed to have botched the investigation. About a month later they arrested 3 teenagers now called the West Memphis 3. One of the teens has an IQ of 72 and confessed after something like12 hours of interrogation in which only a couple hours were recorded (no parent or lawyer present), he later recanted. His confession and “Satanic Panic” in the Bible belt because the teens wore Black and listened to heavy metal music seems to have sealed their fate. They said that the boys were mutilated in a cult ritual but later evidence suggests it was animal activity. There was a Black man covered in blood that ran into the Bojangles restaurant next to where the boys were found acting all weird but when they called the police the officer went through the drive thru rather than go inside. After they found the dead boys the police went back to the restaurant and collected some blood evidence but then later lost it. Jesse Misskelly (the one that confessed) and Jason Baldwin received life plus 40 years.. Damien Echols (Jason’s best friend and only adult (18)) was sentenced to death. They’ve been appealing for new trials and everything else with the development of new evidence and jury misconduct but the same judge keeps denying every attempt. A lot of careers were made from the case so it might have something to do with that as to why they won’t admit maybe they were wrong. I don’t think they did it but from everything I’ve read there is room for reasonable doubt..

This is a really ugly crime that has grabbed the attentions of the country once again as the push is on to prove the boys who were convicted for it are actually innocent. Another man, an unnamed black man, has been the subject of intense concern in the matter and should be, although I don't believe he actually is, a person of interest. As far as the authorities are concerned, they have their killers, boys who were found guilty mostly by association. They wore black and listened to heavy metal so they must be satanists! Or so said the prosecution in this case and the local community went into what is now called a "satanic panic" and summarily persecuted these young men. This case really grabs me hard for a number of reasons. For one, there has been absolutely no single murder attributed to "satanism" ever proven to have occurred in the U.S. and this is never, not even once. There are no real cults of satanists in America although there are a few nutcases running around singing AC/DC songs like Night Stalker and committing crimes while on drugs. The real live Church of Satan, now known as the Church of Set, exists in California and it's credo does not include murder, blood sacrifice or even torture; they do get hinky with nude alter figures and naked women who like to dance on tables once in awhile but they have yet to hurt anyone. Besides all of this, people still persist in believing that there are such entities as the Devils minions running around doing his bidding after performing blood rituals in the dark. There is just no proof that this is true; it's been dismissed as urban legend.
Second, I am personally offended by the references to heavy metal because I, myself, am a heavy metal and hard rock fan. Now, I admit I don't care for the death metal stuff which is too fast for me and mostly about murder and mayhem but I love a lot of the music. I won't name bands, though. Just that I like fast, flashy guitars and lots of drums and bass and leave it at that. I am just not that judgmental to assume that because someone worships a certain way or likes a certain form of entertainment they are evil or bad or guilty of murder. That's Taliban type stuff and just not Democracy. I still believe that people are innocent until proven guilty however tempting it is to condemn someone out of hand simply because I don't like them. So I couldn't resist this case. The charts may tell me that these boys really did do this thing and that they don't deserve my consideration, but I am willing to take that chance.
But the truth is the chart was really hard to figure out. I wasn't sure how to read it. This involved three victims instead of one and involved a possible three killers instead of one. The victims were only 8 years old so do you read it for the parents, for the children or for a combination of friends and family? This means a debate between the first, fifth and third houses. Which one makes sense? It was really hard to determine so I studied the charts for a long time before deciding whether they are viable. Of course, no matter what, the Moon depicts our victims, no matter how many, so I started there. I saw, right away, that in the chart for 6 pm, when the boys were last seen, the Moon is in the first house. This shows the boys in control of their situation, alive and well and doing what they please. They were "directing their own show", so to speak. This tells me right away that perhaps the first house is the place to start. I also note that the Moon is in Scorpio and is disposed of by Mars in Leo in the tenth and that Mars, in turn, rules the seventh. And this pattern tells a clear story. The boys are heading out to meet with someone specific. Their purpose at this time is to find this person. Mars is in the tenth so they are doing this "out in the open", in an area where they were easily seen. And they were seen. So this is working.
And then I move on to study the seventh house and see that both the Sun and Mercury are positioned there. What does this tell me? That the person they are "about to meet" is a older man and a younger person. This is most likely a father and son or daughter combination because Sun in Taurus is in the same sign as Mercury, also in Taurus. But there is enough distance between them, 12 degrees, to imply they may be loosely related in some way such as by marriage. And, then again, even though it's a full 12 degrees, it's still close enough to be under the Sun's beams, which hints at danger. This child, however related, is in danger from the older man. There is a shadow here. And these boys are on the way to see these people, perhaps unaware of the current state of affairs. To top this off, the Moon opposes the Sun and Mars, which disposes of the Moon, is square the Sun and Mercury. There is a disagreement here. They are meeting up with these people to "set things straight", perhaps.. or, perhaps... "to duke it out"? That singular Mars in Leo is pivotal and it is disposed of by the Sun, so it was the older man who called this "meeting" of sorts; or, simply, asked the boys to come. The first house, which appears to be the central force in this chart, is ruled by Venus, which is placed in the sixth. By traditional readings, a child who is missing who is ruled by planets placed in the sixth, will "never be seen again". I think this is pretty true to what happened, don't you?
I agree that the sixth house has many meanings, all of which can be broken down in various ways, depending upon the aspects and placements in the chart. For instance, the subject could be sick, could be held captive, could be sold into slavery or held in servitude. But, generally speaking, I see it as describing a looming danger of sorts, the seriousness of which can be seen in other placements. But Venus here is again disposed of by that singular Mars in the tenth, so I can say that whatever outcome this danger has, it is dependent upon the activities of the boys in their meeting with this person. It really all boils down to that. So, from this, I must surmise that the boys did not die by accident, they did not come upon a stranger who snatched them and killed them, they set about going to meet someone they knew and that person or persons was the last person to see them alive and likely was responsible for the carnage that was discovered the next day.
And what does this chart tell us about the person or persons who did this? Well, Mars is the marker and it is placed in the tenth house. This tells me that the person was one in a position of power over the boys, an adult, for sure. The tenth house points at patriarchal figures like the police, the teachers in school, the father figure, the authority that dispenses punishment for breaking the rules. This would be someone the boys feared and respected, that they were afraid to defy. Notice will you that the Sun and Mercury are both in Taurus, which is disposed of by Venus in the sixth house, again the ruler of the first. This is quite a loop the planets are creating, from one to the other, in a kind of private circle, excluding all other planets from the configuration. So I believe I have cornered the placements and aspects in this chart that define the event. In this regard, I consider the chart to be viable.
So I start rolling the charts forward. At 7 pm, things change a little but the picture remains clear. Mars, still ruling the first, has moved into the ninth house. Sun in Taurus remains in the seventh, but Mercury has moved into the sixth. Venus, the dispositor of the Sun, has moved into the fifth. The older man is waiting for the boys. The younger child, who had been with him earlier, has been set aside. This child is no longer present but I cannot say what has happened here. Mercury is in accidental exaltation in the sixth house. I believe this other child is safe, regardless of the stress of the sixth house; perhaps he or she has been set aside, held captive elsewhere? Locked in a bedroom? Hidden in the attic? It's hard to tell. But the real omen for me is the entrance of Pluto into the first house. I know that not many Astrologers consider Pluto in important force in event charts but I am one of the few who still do. The planet, or comet, or meteor, or whatever they are now saying it is, creates patterns in charts that are easily read and are proven accurate time and again. And if it is a meteor or a comet or a planetoid or whatever, just that fact alone indicates to me that other meteors or comets or planetoids or whatever must have a role to play as well. I am first and foremost a scientist and this regard I trust the results of my experiments and it is only through those experiments that I find things to be true. So far, Pluto has proven true to itself in too many experiments to be ignored. So bear with me.
Pluto arrives in the first house at around 7 pm, just in time for the death of these boys. It is in dignity if you are willing to credit it with partial rulership of Scorpio. Otherwise, it is merely ascendant, which is powerful enough for an event chart. The Moon is dexter and moving away from it, as well as being dexter to the square with Mars and moving away from that, so read this to say that the boys were not looking for a fight. But the Moon is sinister to an opposition with the Sun, which is the dispositor for Mars. Mars is no longer angular so the outcome of this is variable. But Mars does still rule the first house so it's placement matters. Here it has moved into the ninth, so it looks like the boys are going into the woods. The Moon, Mars and the Sun are loosely connected in a T Square, with Mars as the short leg. It is the connector that brings the first house and seventh house together. As the Moon ticks swiftly to an exact opposition with the Sun, I believe the boys are about to confront the man who has either agreed or demanded to meet with them. And this is happening out in the woods. Does this seem strange to you? That an adult male would insist on meeting three young boys in the woods? Remember that the originating chart had his rulership in the tenth, showing that he has authority over these boys and they would be hard pressed to ignore him. Remember that the Sun in Taurus, his marker, is disposed of by Venus and notice that Venus has moved into the fifth house. He is currently, at the 7:00 hour, preparing to meet with "children", as the fifth house denotes. Venus, in turn, is disposed of by that singular Mars, now in the ninth. He is preparing to meet them in the woods. And it doesn't look like there is more than one man; it also doesn't look to me that this man was a stranger.
Fixed stars also stand out for me. Caput Algol and the Pleiades both sit in the seventh house during the event. Pluto, in fact, is exactly opposite to Caput Algol. This a very strong indicator of violence and bloodshed. In fact, I would say, from personal experience with this placement, that this was a horrific event. The fixed star Miram is nearby which means that this man may have lied to the boys to get them to come to the woods. Mars is close to Asellus Austral which may mean that this man is a criminal type, someone who is ued to lying and cheating to get his way and may be known by many as sort of "sleazy". Pluto is also directly square to the fixed star Alfard so it may well be that one or more of the boys died by drowning. Refer to my teaching site and read the post on fixed stars for clarification on this.
This is a fascinating chart but it is pretty clear. These boys went to meet his man, someone they knew but perhaps not well, in the woods and they were killed there. I suspect the other child, the one that was sequestered earlier, was a girl. His daughter.. or stepdaughter.. perhaps? I suspect the meeting was about this girl. The childs' marker, Mercury, is in the first decan of Taurus, which is ruled by Venus, which describes a girl. She perhaps had already been punished for whatever caused this uproar and he was ready to fix the boys up as well. But he went way too far with the boys. Crazed violence. The fixed star Polis is near to Pluto in the first so the fire may have been fueled with alcohol. This man may have been very drunk or high on drugs. Whether this man was the same as the man they now call "bojangles" is not clear. However, it would be possible if this man had a daughter that these boys knew or that, at the very least, they were aware of the black man in their daily life and considered him an authority enough to demand their appearance there in the woods. Consider the authority or paternal figures in the boys life. Their teachers, their guardians, the parents of their friends.. anyone who would assert this kind of power over the boys. From there, you will find this man.
The 8 pm chart is very clear, as well. The Moon has moved into the twelfth and Pluto is right on the Ascendant. At that same time, the Sun has moved into the sixth. The boys are dead or dieing as a result of extreme violence (Pluto with Caput Algol) and the man who did this is in bad shape. He is injured. Killing these boys took the wind out of his sails and nearly killed him as well. The Moon is exactly opposed to the Sun, a full moon night, showing that the fight was hard and vicious and deadly; the boys did not go easily. And perhaps he had not intended to go this far, to merely beat them senseless, but the energies present this night pushed him over the edge. This was not a senseless, random crime. This man called out these boys and beat them to death out of rage over something. And I think it involved the girl; his daughter, his sister, his stepdaughter, somehow related. But is this man the same man as "bojangles"? Or was it someone they haven't ever considered? It is obvious to me, at this point, that the chart is not describing the boys they have convicted for this crime. Please remember that this is not my opinion or the result of a psychic reading. This blog is about Astrology and it is the simple reading of Astrology charts that renders this information. If you give credence to Astrology, then this result deserves consideration; however, you are free to dismiss it if it doesn't work for you.
Looking at the chart for the time when this man was seen in the restaurant, it is not clear if this man was related to the crime. I can say that it is possible. The seventh house ruler is still Venus and it has moved into the fourth house, which can be read as a restaurant. However, it can also be read as the man's home so the killer may have simply gone home and the man in the restaurant was the victim of a different drunken row. The marker for me is the Sun in the sixth, showing the killer to be in very bad shape, which is consistent with the man in the restaurant. It is interesting that both the Moon and Pluto in the twelfth house are in the sign Scorpio on this full Moon night; this shows the boys being in water, near a sewer most likely and in a place where they would not be readily seen or found. The twelfth house shows the grave and in Scorpio, the grave would be water but with Pluto also there, something stinking and rotten like a sewer or a drainpipe, which is close to where they were. I realize that the reports have said that two of them drowned but I had to point out how the fixed stars showed that in the chart. I think the chart is successful in showing that a single man was responsible for the beating of these boys and not the group of men they have convicted. This saddens me greatly. I hate it when the system fails because without that system what do we have? The cops are dealing with matters that are far too important, far too grave, to take their jobs lightly and make such huge mistakes. To have simply overlooked this man in the restaurant is a gross miscarriage of justice; he could well have been their killer. However, of this I cannot be sure. The killer here is defined by the Sun in Taurus. This does not mean he is a Taurus or that he has planets in Taurus but that he is defined by those elements that are created by the Suns placement in the sign Taurus. This means that he is probably rather athletic; thick, short and strong. He is unlikely to be tall, skinny and lean. He probably does physical labor that keeps him in fine shape. He may also have artistic leanings but he would not be a fine artist but more of an artisan, making things with wood or stone. Traditionally this would give a broad or Roman shaped nose with a wide mouth. It might also give dimples. It also tends to a darker complexion rather than a fairer one but this does not restrict race. Many whites are dark skinned as well as many blacks are light skinned. But whatever race, this person would have a darker complexion than others of the same race.
This position gives a "do or die" temperament, with great resolve and stubbornness. This person does exactly what he says he will, he is pretty straight forward. He has a roaring temper, quite like an angry Bull, and tends to go all the way. Slow to anger, slow to quiet. This man may have been in many disputes in his neighborhood or workplace. He is hard to placate once ired. Disputes get him going and he will never admit he is wrong. He can be very mean and is often vengeful; he believes in an "eye for an eye" and it is likely that he felt wronged by these boys. Perhaps he believed that they had done something unkind to his daughter. Perhaps he was defending her honor. I realize the boys were only eight years old but teasing and bullying goes on at all ages and it would not take much to anger a man with a temper like this. Especially one who is strong and manly and loves to fight. This man is all about honor. He would be known for this sort of thing; he would not have hidden it.
After reading the charts, I am pretty sure that the boys they arrested are not the ones that did this. This is a sad truth about our system; it sometimes fails. It will be up to powers much greater than you or I to make sure this case is reopened and investigated again. Thanks to big names like actor Johnny Depp the case is getting more exposure and under the bright light of scrutiny, some Judge may decide to readdress it. But until that happens, there is nothing much any of us can do. But this was an interesting read none the less and a clear demonstration of how Forensic Astrology works.
Child in Playground is Openly Abducted; Found Dead Days Later
This excerpt was emailed to me from a reader in Canada. It comes from the Websleuths online forum:
On Saturday May 24th, 1980, polite, shy 6-year-old Lizzie Tomlinson was playing with friends in a parkette known by neighbourhood kids as “Stinky’s Park” on the southeast corner of Shuter and Sumach Sts in the east of Toronto’s downtown region. At approximately 3:30 p.m., a man later described by numerous witnesses as between 25-35 years old, about 5 ft 7, 160-180 lbs, tanned, blue eyed, with long dark brown hair, a beard, possibly left-handed, and wearing a tan tank top, blue jeans, and brown running shoes, lured her away from the park. An intensive search was immediately launched, but it wasn’t until Monday morning that Lizzie’s defiled body was found in a forlorn industrial area, in some bushes near railway tracks at Bayview Ave. (West Don Roadway) and Front St., roughly a kilometre from where she was taken. It is believed she and her killer walked the entire distance together. She had been beaten and strangled, and was partially covered by weeds and two long boards. The pathologist examining her recorded injuries that included multiple scratches and cuts, a broken jaw, a fist-inflicted injury on her neck, and other bruises on her face and thighs. Horrifically, the killer had shoved the stalk of a weed up into her vagina and through her stomach and upper body until it came to rest near her right shoulder. She lived for at least an hour, and possibly for a few hours, after the insertion of the stalk, but was likely unconscious. Since she had been partially buried, police believed the killer had spent quite a bit of time at the scene.
During the investigation that followed, witnesses came forward with a flurry of sightings. Some kids said they had been approached by a man fitting the suspect’s description, and offering ice cream, in the month prior to the abduction. Other witnesses saw Lizzie and her killer walking hand-in-hand east on Shuter St. and south on River St. A man working outside a factory on Bayview Ave., only a few hundred feet from the scene of the murder, saw Lizzie and her killer walking south along a footpath that runs between Bayview Ave. and Don River, but he thought nothing of it at the time and resumed his work. However, another witness, a taxi driver, said he had picked up a man and a little girl fitting the descriptions of Lizzie and her killer at Sumach St. and Wascana Ave., and had driven them to Bayview Ave. and King St., very close to the murder scene. His statement contradicts those of several other people, so he was quite possibly mistaken.
Hapless bearded men were randomly corralled left and right in the days and weeks after the murder, and the general public was whipped into a fury over reinstating capital punishment.
Because he fit the same description, police speculated the perpetrator may have been the same man responsible for the rape of a waitress one year earlier and just three blocks from the park where Lizzie was taken.
On June 5th, 1980, Lizzie’s 26-year-old cousin Gregory Guerin was arrested and charged with her murder. Guerin was cleared and discharged in late December at his preliminary hearing. No one else was ever arrested for the murder of Lizzie Tomlinson.

This is a horrific and heartbreaking case. You can read a lot more about it and the aftermath, as well as what has come to light since, here on the unsolvedcanada forum. This child was actually impaled! And she lived for an hour afterwards. I don't think it gets much more evil than that. It's horrid and ugly and I can't stand the thought that this man is running around, possibly doing this again and again. The most shocking thing, I think, for me, was that so many witnesses gave such a clear, concise and consistent description of the abductor and the search began moments after the child was taken and, yet, still he was not caught! Although I am a strong believer in destiny and karma and that our lives are part of a greater lesson, I have a hard time when life demonstrates over and over again how powerless we are. It does not seem as if we have even the tiniest smidgen of strength in the face of circumstances and that very few of us ever influence the destiny of anyone, including ourselves! This child, for all intents and purposes, should have been saved. But, instead, she was led off easily and made to suffer in this heartbreaking manner. It's mindblowing.
When I tackled this case, I had a few hours window and a lot of information. I am not sure what more I can offer in the search for the killer; they already have a fantastically clear description of this man! But perhaps in reading the chart, we will discover something more about him, something personal and helpful. That is all I can hope for here. In reading the chart, I had a conflict in how to read Lizzie's houses. She was only 6 years old and her parents are the active searchers so I thought perhaps I'd use the fifth house. However, in reality, she was alone and on her own, making her own decisions and was the one who chose to go with this man. She was not instructed to do so by anyone and her parents were not present to either intervene or abet. So I had to weigh things carefully. I ended up reading the charts both ways, looking for some sense. This is what and how I finally did it.
In reading the first chart, which was for the time the man was first seen in her company, I tried reading both the first and fifth houses. The first house proved to be most insightful. Notice in this chart that Libra is rising and Aries is falling. Venus, the first house ruler, is in the ninth house with the planets Mercury and the Sun nearby. This tells me that Lizzie, ruled by Venus, was outside near a wooded area where there was sports equipment or other outdoor gear like swingsets or bbq grills. I don't know much about Stinky's Park but I think it might be equipped for outdoor activities. Anyways, Mercury is nearby but in another sign, showing other children present but not related to her. And the Sun, also nearby in Gemini but not conjoined to Mercury, tells me there was a man on the perimeter of the park but he was not "with" any of the other children. The Sun is disposed of by Mercury, which tells me that his purpose for being there centered around the children. He was attracted to the kids.
Mercury, we must note, is also under the Sun's beams, meaning that these children were in grave danger. The chart co ruler, the Moon, is in the first house, disposed of by Venus, also a chart ruler. Lizzie was "where she wanted to be" thus far; she went there because she wanted to and was not, at any time earlier, coerced or forced. But we must also note that the Moon is square Venus, showing poor judgment and clouded vision. She had the totally wrong impression of events that occurred and probably trusted this man. The Moon is trine the Sun, showing this to be a fact and also showing just how easy it was for him to seduce her. Notice also that Neptune in the second house is opposed to Mercury in the ninth, showing that he was just looking for a child, any child, in fact, and did not target her. He tried his seduction on other kids first.. he just lucky with her. He was offering a lie, an illusion, a promise of candy or other forbidden treats. Something her parents would not let her have but she wanted dearly. He promised her that.
Of all the aspects, the only omen I see is Saturn, the fourth house ruler, lingering in the twelfth. Neptune is square to Saturn, indicating in a sort of vague way, that her death was a part of the seduction. This indicates, although not really strongly, that he was planning to kill a child from the get go. Pluto in the first trine Mercury shows that he felt that killing a child would be easy; he could "get violent" with little resistance. And she was perfect because she was the "smallest" and the "weakest" of the bunch. Venus is sinister to a sextile with Mars, the seventh house ruler, which seems to say that she followed him. He may have seemed to have led her, but I think he had her follow him, to assume greater control over the outcome. Once again, I note that Mars, his ruler, is disposed of by Mercury, the symbol for children. He was there to get a kid, period. No ifs ands or buts about it. A key aspect that much be mentioned is the waning square between the Moon and Venus while these planets are in mutual reception. Although the square is dexter and losing power the mutual reception cannot be ignored. Taken alone, this single aspect will cause things to come to pass. Add to this that both the Moon and Venus begin the afternoon as Lizzie's ruling planets.
The chart for 4 pm shows the Moon moving into the twelfth house. Pluto crosses the Ascendant between 4:30 pm and 5 pm. Mars, the seventh house ruler, remains in the eleventh house showing that this man is still playing a "friend" with Lizzie. Mars is conjoined Jupiter and they are both disposed of by Mercury, which continues to show that this man is very confident around kids. He knows how to make them laugh and to relax and trust him. I think he attacked her between 4:30 and 5 pm, following the Moon and Pluto. Not too long afterwards, the chart ruler, Venus, moves into the eighth with Mercury and the Sun. I think he attacked her and killed her pretty quickly, even though she didn't die for awhile.
By 6 pm, the chart shows Scorpio rising with Pluto in the twelfth. The seventh house ruler, now Venus, is in the eighth, showing murder in the commission of a sexual act. I realize this is all known fact but I can't resist seeing if the charts can support the facts. Notice also that Mars, the chart co ruler, is in the tenth house, which tells us that this all happened "out in the open". They were not in a home somewhere or tucked away in the backseat of a car. This child was killed by this man out in an open area, perhaps near a highway or a public area. She may very well have been killed where she was found, near those railroad tracks. This may be why the chart ruler from the beginning, Venus, never left the ninth house until after she was attacked. The ninth house is the travel house and rules stuff like railroads.
The charts from 5:30 forward, until after 7 pm, show the seventh house ruler, Venus, in the eighth house. Doesn't this support the theory that he spent quite some time with her, both sexually and also after she was dead or dieing? This whole horror seems to have gone on for quite some time, after starting very shortly after he nabbed her. Sad. But I will chin up and take a shot at gleaning something more about this man, in the hopes that it might help find him. I doubt if it will and I'm sure my detractors will kick my butt for this one, too, but here goes. He is ruled by Mars in Virgo. That is the planet that rules the seventh cusp at the time of her abduction. It defines the man she met and left with. In traditional Astrology this describes someone who is fairly muscular and is in fine physical shape. Health conscious and discriminating. Neat, clean and well trimmed. Of medium height, dark to reddish brown hair and thin lips. Also, someone with a broad, high forehead, high cheekbones and large nostrils. This is a well proportioned, disciplined person who watches his diet and probably exercises. Not a hunter type or an athlete but someone who may lift weights or walk a lot. He might be a teacher, a custodian, a school crossing guard, a gym instructor or a team coach but of sports like football or tennis, Mercury type sports. With his proclivity with children and ability to get along with them so easily, it is likely he works with children in some capacity. This is especially true since the forensic chart is showing his ruler, Mars, as being disposed of by Mercury, the traditional ruler of children.
Now, I want to clarify a few things. When I say the abductor is ruled by Mars in Virgo, I am not claiming this person to be a Sun Sign Virgo or to even have Mars in Virgo in the natal chart. This is merely the symbolic measure given by the chart of that instant. Because the forensic chart captures a moment in time and gives a symbolic portrayal of what occurred, these aspects, placements and other data is merely that: symbolic. So, in that regard, those who are trying to find this man should be looking for one who symbolically represents the energies of the planet Mars, the sign Virgo and the totality of Mars in Virgo.
Bob says he spent most of the day at a job site in Delray Beach, 43 miles south of Jupiter. Investigators say the murder happened around 1 p.m.
"I was there 'til about 2:30," he tells police during questioning. "I mean, I’ve got five witnesses that are verifying that I was there."
Bob was later seen at a Mazda dealership in Delray at 2:45 p.m. And he says he didn’t get home until 5 p.m., when he discovered Toni’s body.

Who Killed Toni Heartsong?
Although her husband was charged and indicted for her murder, he was not convicted and the case has since been closed. But who really did kill Toni? Was it her "peace loving" hippie husband? Or was it a stranger? I saw this show on 48 Hours Mystery about this case and it grabbed me. Not that I think I can solve it, as I very rarely solve any crime.. but that Astrology may give us some insight into what happened. Since the chance is there, I want to take it.
Before I launch into this case, I want to say a few things about the blog. Too many people are taking this blog way too seriously and getting bothered by the readings. I must remind everyone that this blog is about Astrology, Forensic Astrology in particular, and is not intended to be a crime solving blog or a final word on what happened to anyone. I simply ask the question, can Astrology answer this? Can Astrology solve this? And that is where it ends. This is not my opinion, in fact many of the charts end up contradicting my personal opinions. But this is the reading of Astrology charts the way they were meant to be read and if I get it right, bravo! But if not, it's not the end of the world. In the future, I am going to shift the focus away from victims and start profiling the murderers and see what Astrology can lend to that. If there were some clue, some secret key, to the personalities of people who are inclined to kill, perhaps Astrology can give that key or clue. I think that would be fascinating... so look for it in the future.
Anyways, when I drew up the charts for this murder, I was surprised by how clear and straightforward they were. I started with the time of the murder, 1 pm, and worked them backwards and then forwards to get the whole picture. The first one here is for the time of the murder, 1 pm in West Palm Beach. The chart shows Sagittarius rising with Gemini falling, Jupiter in Gemini in the sixth and Mercury in Libra in the tenth sector. Jupiter in Gemini is in fall and in the sixth house, it shows Toni to be in a bad way. Note that Jupiter is disposed of by the seventh house ruler, Mercury in Libra. The Moon is in Virgo in the ninth house, also disposed of by Mercury. This tells me that Toni was doing whatever she was doing because of her attacker. She may have come outdoors because she was called outside, drove home because she expected to see this person there, was running an errand for someone else, that sort of thing.
Noted also is the square between the Moon and Jupiter, showing Toni making rash and poor decisions. Pluto opposes Jupiter from the twelfth house, showing the actual attack. There is no doubt, from this chart, that Toni was called outside for some reason and attacked from behind. Saturn lingers nearby also in the sixth, showing that she did not die right away. Noted also is the north node in the eighth house, showing also that the murder was planned or was a part of a larger scheme. The north node is also disposed of by the Moon, the chart co ruler, showing also that this was no accident; Toni was the intended target.
I wanted to get the entire picture so I ran the charts backward a few hours and the next one I read was for 11 am. Here, Scorpio is rising, Taurus is falling, Mars is in the tenth house with the Moon and Venus is in the twelfth. Interesting. With both the Moon and Mars, the ruling planets, in the tenth house, it is saying that Toni was "out and about" so to speak, in the public eye. She was in a place out in the public, perhaps shopping, driving, walking... where she could be seen by others. In more detail, I see that both the Moon and Mars are disposed of by Mercury in the eleventh, so she is in the company of a friend or friends. She is either visiting friends or simply out in their company. Mercury is in Libra, indicating that this friend is likely a female. Was there a record of anyone being with her that morning? I am not sure if I heard this or not. However, this is what the chart seems to be saying.
Also, the seventh house ruler, Venus, is in the twelfth house, defining in many ways the person she is "about to meet". Is this person hiding? Doesn't the twelfth house seem to suggest that? Is this her future attacker? Venus is in an out of sign conjunction with Mercury and disposed of by both Mars and Pluto. Mars is in the tenth, as already noted, and Pluto is in the first. This person is hiding "in the open" so to speak and may be prepared to face Toni at the right time. Pluto in the first, also a co ruler of the first house, indicates also that Toni is where "she wants to be", doing "what she wants to do". So any hints that she might have been coerced or forced are not substantiated here.
The next chart, for noon, has developed the dial that is present when Toni is murdered. Sagittarius is now rising with Gemini falling. Jupiter in Gemini is in the seventh house, Mercury in Libra is in the eleventh house and the Moon in Virgo is right at the midheaven. Mercury rules both the seventh and the tenth houses. The Moon, the chart co ruler, is disposed of by Mercury, as well. This tells me that the next person she comes across is a "friend" or at least someone close to her. Mercury is the prominent force in this chart and it's placed in the eleventh house of friendship. Jupiter is right at the seventh house cusp so Toni is in the presence of this person and may have made a concerted effort to connect with this person. Again, the chart is saying she is "visiting friends". The creepy part of the chart for me is the closure of Pluto on the Ascendant while directly opposed to Jupiter. Someone is going to attack her. There is no doubt about it, according to this. Someone will confront her and it won't be pleasant. I must iterate again that the disposition of Pluto by Jupiter enforces the idea that Toni is the subject of this confrontation, it is no accident, nor is it a mistake or a random act.
But since we don't need to prove that Toni was murdered, this is already known and we don't need to prove what happened to her body, as it was found on the day of her death, the only question still unanswered is who did this to her. Many people pointed at her husband and indeed it does seem like the kind of personal murder that occurs between spouses and other close relations. And, at trial, the jury let him off on a technicality, saying afterwards that they believed he actually did do it but they couldn't convict. Sort of stacks the deck, doesn't it? But since he wasn't convicted and he still claims his innocence, I thought I'd go into this with an open mind. In that spirit, I will take a close look at the seventh house and see what it might reveal.
The seventh house ruler starts out as Venus but changes to Mercury just before Toni was killed. Both Mercury and Venus spend most of the time in the eleventh house, which is telltale. As the chart says over and over again, she is in the company of a "friend" or "friends". There is no indication that this "friend" is a lover or husband. There are no pointers that aim at the fifth or seventh houses separate from the natural influences of those houses. Interestingly, I must note that Venus and Mercury are in out of sign conjunction, as well, within a close 5 degrees of each other. This is a form of "solidarity", which indicates to me that the first "friend" in her company is the same "friend" who appears later on. Or perhaps, this is TWO friends? Two friends, working in tandem? The seventh house is inhabited by Gemini, which often indicates the "twins". Two friends who were very similar in nature? Of course, this is what the chart hints at but it is up to us to read it and make sense of it.
The idea of two friends who are similar or one friend who was in two places is supported by the fact that Mercury is disposed of by Venus. And then, you must note, Venus is disposed of by Pluto. The first aspect that Mercury makes is a completion of the conjunction to Venus and since it is moving faster than Venus, this aspect is sinister. In that same vein, both Mercury and Venus are sinister to a square with Neptune, which rules the fourth house. This says it's no surprise that his person went to Toni's home. The home, in fact, was chosen by this person for the staging of this event.
I hate to say this but the charts are not pointing at her husband. Admittedly, he had an alibi that the prosecution attempted to punch holes in but was never discredited. Mercury in Libra describes someone lithe, beautiful, tall and feminine. I am NOT saying it must be a woman, however, Mercury does point at someone younger than Toni. This person, according to Astrology, would be a fine looking person with a clear complexion and a head full of thick, luxurious, light brown hair. Mercury in Libra conjoining Venus doubles this influence, with Scorpio adding sex appeal. This was a beautiful young person, perhaps a woman, or TWO women, who may have been hurt over something, jealous or angry.
In the spirit of being thorough, I must also mention that Astrology describes this person as "scatter brained, easily hurt, covetous and petty". With a chart square to Neptune, this person seems also to be deceitful, untruthful and with a hidden purpose. Was Bob having an affair, perhaps? Or was there a younger woman who was on the periphery of their relationship? Did Toni have extra marital affairs, with men or women? Is this something that should be considered? I cannot say. I do not see specific aspects pointing at lovers or secret relationships. I do not see aspects indicating any specific relationship with this person other than that this was a "friend" of Tonis.
Regretfully, I do not have a firm result from the reading and since it does not seem to point at Bob, the true murderer is perhaps still out there, enjoying his or her life, having escaped punishment. I doubt, at this point, that this crime will ever be solved to satisfaction nor will anyone else ever be charged with this crime.

Details of this case:
Kellisue left her job after work at Rite Aid, in Amsterdam , NY , about 9:35 p.m. Her home in Johnstown, NY was about 30 minutes away. Her car found on fire about 2:00 a.m. (1:53a.m.) in Johnstown , NY . The car was three blocks from her home. The car fire was across the street from Kellisue’s uncle by marriage, Dennis A.
A full search was done, by search group, dogs, plane, divers in nearby river. Kelliesue has never been found. A neighbor reported hearing gunshots around 12:15 a.m., Oct. 1, 2008. Her report was discounted. Police say she heard the tires blowing out on Kellisue’s car after it was on fire. Car fire reported at 1:53 a.m., per police in news article.
Johnstown police department insist this is a missing person case and not a criminal investigation. Johnstown police say Jayson is not a person of interest.
Fulton county district attorney Louise Sira refuses to get involved. She states she is there for the police dept.; there is no evidence of a crime.
Police department will not call in state police.
I have received numerous requests to do a chart on this case. After looking at it, I found it to be complex and confusing. But there is a missing woman at the center of all these events; a woman who disappeared after leaving work and then her car was found on fire. This is a mystery and you know how I love a mystery! So I thought I'd take a look at the charts and see if something came forward. I was hoping I could find something to talk about or I'd have a lot of disappointed readers. The first chart I drew up was for the time she was last reported seen, as she was leaving work that night. This was around 9:35 pm in a nearby town where she worked in a drugstore. When I looked at this chart, quite a few red flags popped up for me and I knew right away that this was probably foul play. In that chart Gemini is rising and Sagittarius is falling. Notice that Jupiter is in Capricorn in the eighth house. This is a falling position for Jupiter and it is in bad shape. It is square to both the Sun and Mercury; consider that Mercury is the first house ruler and Kellisue's marker. Jupiter is disposed of by Saturn and also trine to that planet in the fourth house. This planet is showing me someone desperate and in sad shape; a needy, complex personality who may have dependencies. Addictions to drugs, sex or other dark habits are possible. And, too, the planets describe the person as either someone who lived in Kellisue's home, was a close relative of hers or who was waiting in her home when she got back. Pluto is angular and powerful in the seventh house, showing that violence is a possibility and that the violence would come from someone she knew; a partner, her husband or ex husband perhaps, business associate or close friend. Pluto, in turn, is disposed of by Jupiter. I am afraid this person will do anything, go to extremes in fact, to get what he or she wants. Again, I feel an air of desperation. This person is, at the least, rather scary.
In this same chart, you can see Mercury pleasantly placed in the fifth house, between the Sun and Mars. It is in 20 degrees of Libra, near to the fixed star, Spica. This is a very fortunate position. But it is retrograde is actually moving backwards, off the conjunction, and into the Sun's shadows. So this is an aspect we must watch through the night. The Moon, the chart co ruler, is also right close nearby. Now, the fifth house points to children but there are two men there and she has no sons, so who are these men? The Sun is an angular ruler, as it rules the fourth house or nadir, so it has a lot of power. It also describes a man who is related to Kelliesue or who lives with her. This man has some distance from her and is not real close to her in the personal way. In other words, he does not sleep with her or engage her on a personal level. He is perhaps a relative or roommate. Mars is also describing a friend of hers, a man who rotates in her orb and may have a crush on her but there is nothing personal here either. She is not in love with either of these men. So who are they? Somehow, this night, she comes into their company. They either come to see her when she leaves work, perhaps they were visiting the store to shop. Perhaps they call her and invite her out to socialize with them or ask her to go with them for a time, to just talk or hang out. She does oblige them, the chart shows them together over a period of time, an hour or more and that the meeting was pleasant. But I cannot help but wonder why this meeting was never reported or discussed by the police or the media. Perhaps these men have never come forward? And were they aware of the third man? This man that is indicated by the seventh house; the next man she would meet? The interesting thing is that the third man, ruled by Jupiter, who she is about to meet, is near her home at this time. I looks like he came to her home or was there when she arrived. I do not feel that the other two men, her friends, came home with her. I don't see that at all. She left them and went about her business, going home, on her own.
Please notice that Neptune and the node are both in the tenth house. For me, the way I read it, this is an omen. Neptune tells me that secrets will be kept and the case may never be solved. The node tells me this was planned out carefully and may have involved more than one person. The case would become famous on a local level and many people will investigate it but I am not sure the clues that need to be revealed will ever be seen by anyone, including me. Neptune, like the High Priestess in the Tarot, hides everything very well and makes it very hard to see clearly. Clues can lay right out in the open and somehow everyone misses them. That is the nature of Neptune. And in this case, it rules the authorities right at the outset. It tells me that they missed important clues and overlooked important leads because they were hoodwinked somehow. Somehow, they believe something that is actually not true. And because of this ruse, they will chase red herrings for a very long time before they are able to solve this crime. Will they solve it? I am often asked that question. The Mercury trine to Neptune reveals something about this. Both planets are retrograde but Mercury does go direct on the 15th of October, which tells me it will be about 15 months before a real lead is offered. I read this by a fast moving planet in an angular sign in a succeedant house. After they find this lead, things will start moving on this case.
The charts seem to say that Kellisue made it home just before midnight. I am not sure why it took her so long but from all accounts, she lived a half hour away from her job and the charts are telling me that she socialized for awhile with two male relatives or friends. Why haven't these people come forward to say they were with her? And who would be waiting in her home, if we are to assume that her husband and child were there? The facts state that she also lived with parents, so were they home as well? The next few charts give an interesting twist to this story. This would be the charts for 11:30, midnight and 12:30 am.. Here you see Cancer rising and the Moon just entering the fourth house. Kelliesue has come home. Notice that the seventh house ruler, Saturn, is now in the third. This sort of hints that the man she is "about to meet" is in a car. Is he behind her? Did he follow her? Or was he in her car with her? The Moon is in the fourth so Kelliesue is at home; in the driveway, perhaps or just down the street. But somewhere near or in the home. The Moon has just entered Scorpio, which is now disposed of by Pluto and the volatile Mars. And if you notice that Aries is on the tenth house cusp and Mars has just appeared between Mercury and the Moon inside the fourth, you see that someone else has entered the scene. This man has literally stepped in the space between Kelliesue and her daughter. This makes me think that she was intercepted before she actually returned to the home. She was on her way to her child and someone entered the scene before that happened.
Uranus is in the ninth house in mutual reception with Neptune in the eighth. Sudden opportunities just come out of the blue and this event happened in a smooth but unexpected fashion. Conversely, Saturn in Virgo shows careful planning and shrewd manipulation of events. The Moon in Scorpio is beginning a transit that allows it to translate the light from Jupiter to Saturn in a trine formation, showing action on the way. Unfortunately, it is a sinister aspect but wide in orb. It's influence at this point is questionable. It's next strongest aspect is a conjunction to Venus. Venus is in fall in Scorpio and it rules the fourth house. She might have been killed by someone in her family. This is a strong possibility. Mars where it is, in detriment in the fourth house, coupled with Neptune in the eighth, I think Kelliesue was shot just before she arrived at her home. Perhaps outside on the lawn, at the end of the driveway, a few feet away as she approached, something like this. I believe she was shot in her car, right near her home, which is why the car was later burned. And I think more than one man was involved. I am not sure if her husband was one of them, although the charts seem to say that one of these men was at the home when she got there. So who would be in the home with her husband that he would not know about? Even if it is to be beleived that her husband might have been involved, there is no way he did this alone.
Another interesting angle I must point out for consideration is that all of the planets that signify Kelliesue are in Libra and disposed of by Venus, which is in fall in Scorpio. This means they are all disposed of by Mars and Pluto, both violent and unpredictable planets. And then after midnight, her marker, the Moon moves into Scorpio as well. The planets that are in Libra are what is called via combust or combust way, which means they are conjoined to a number of violent fixed stars. The only standout is Mercury, at 20 degrees Libra, which I mentioned earlier because it was near to Spica early in the evening. But during the course of the evening, by midnight, in fact, Mercury has moved backwards a degree and has fallen into combust way with Mercury and the Moon. The Moon in combust way describes a dangerous situation that is very critical. Mercury, which rules Kellisue early in the evening, tells me that she was or is an honorable person who had been fortunate in many ways. But the grouping of planets around Mercury on this night, including Venus in fall in Scorpio and via combust way, she was not able to get out of the danger she faced. The conditions were critical; on red alert, so to speak. She just didn't have a chance. I believe she was shot before she even realized what was happening. I believe, from these planets, that she may have just stepped out of the car and was blown away. These are the shots the neighbor heard.
Now, I want to do the final chart for the time when her car was found on fire. Notice how Leo has taken the Ascendant and the Sun is now in the third. Kelliesue was in that car and that was the reason they burned it. The Sun and Mercury are both there, in the car. Someone else commandeered the car, took the wheel, after she was shot. Notice how the seventh house ruler has now moved into the eighth house. Uranus is in mutual reception with Neptune in the seventh, again emphasizing the secretiveness and mystery on the part of another person, in an event surrounding a death. Fascinating, no? Again, I must repeat, that I believe there was someone else no one knows about. I think Kelliesue was shot when she drove up or got out of the car and they put her back in it and took it and set it on fire. I know she was not found in the car, no bones or other evidence was found. Interestingly, Aries rules the midheaven and Mars is in the fourth house. The fire was within shouting distance of her home. It was seen by everyone in the area. The seventh house ruler, Uranus, is placed in the eighth house. This tells me that this person had murder on the mind; this was the exact reason he was there, it was what he was going to do. Uranus tells me he is unusual, rebellious, lives outside of society, on the edge, so to speak. The shooting was planned but it was also rash; when the opportunity arose, he took it. It was sudden and it was over with quickly but he was there for this reason. A subtle blend of planning and sudden events. Also noted is that the ruler of the eighth house cusp is also Uranus, a trick of the lighting, so to speak, with interception happening among houses in this chart due to the angle of declination. The eighth house ruler in the eighth house points to violent death and grave danger. Uranus tends to implicate a person who was considered a "friend" or who had been visiting lately. In the eighth house, it tends to also implicate someone who had been to her house occasionally and had been befriended by Kelliesue. Uranus also tends to describe a man and not a woman.
Interestingly, Scorpio is intercepted in the fourth with Pluto in the fifth house. This is a strong placement that shows intensity in relationships, like sexual betrayal and jealousy. Is it possible that her husband believed she was having an affair? With one of the men that I saw earlier, perhaps? Was he jealous? Also, Saturn is a player in the second house and it tells me there was financial hardship. Someone felt deprived. Someone really felt the pinch of poverty. Saturn in Virgo is a real miser, counting pennies, worried about everything. Someone had lost a job or didn't have a job or couldn't find a job. Earnings were very low and this was causing a lot of pain. Would this be a motive? Saturn is disposed of by Mercury in the third, so was there a car payment? Did they have a problem paying for the car? Perhaps there was an insurance policy on the car and there was a new car to be had? I know that sounds absurd but it's worth noting in the chart.
What happened to Kellisue afterwards? Where was she when the cops showed up and asked, "where is kelliesue?" The chart for the time of the car fire should reveal some things. We see that Leo is rising, making the Sun her marker. It is in the third house in the sign Libra, closely aligned with Mercury. This can mean any of several things. She could have been in a car, a second car, and being carried away. But even so, Mercury points to neighborhoods and the third house points to avenues and streets, not highways. The Sun with Mercury in Libra in the third makes me think that she is not far from home. She is in a neighborhood, possibly a suburb. She is along a two lane highway or suburban avenue and may even be in the city area, near commercial buildings and office buildings. Where is certainly isn't is in the woods, along a major highway, in another city or state or buried underground. Libra says she was left in the open air, probably face down. In a high place, but probably not on a mountain or in the woods. The Sun and Mercury in Libra disposed of Venus in Scorpio literally makes me think of garbage cans, dumpsters, the landfill. Scorpio can point to sewers or wells. Libra often depicts outhouses so it is possible she was dropped into the sewer. However, Libra often describes attics, upstairs bedrooms, wardrobes and closets with lots of hanging clothes. I personally think that's unlikely. And since Mercury depicts flowing and veined substances, I see again water as a possibility. But not in the woods-- somewhere in the city or the suburb. That's why I keep thinking the sewer system or other disposal method. Mars is also in Libra so she may have been dismembered and discarded of in pieces. I find this whole thing disgusting at this point so I am going to stop trying.
I am not sure I can safely point the finger at her family or her husband. This did occur very close to home and seems to involve someone who visited her home. But I am not sure this was not a person she simply knew rather than her husband. But I am not saying that the charts totally rule him out. But if he was indeed involved in this heinous crime, he did not do this alone. He was helped by someone else; someone they both knew. But, as always, regardless of my findings, Kelliesue has not been found and this is still being treated as a missing person case. She may very well be still alive and well, living under a new name perhaps. So look at her photo and commit it to memory. I have spent this afternoon watching the local news while the ME and the FBI tell us that the remains are, indeed, Caylee's. I know that everybody believed that they were but until the cops said that they were, I held out before commenting. I get criticized enough, I don't need to make that kind of mistake. A lot of tears are shed with this news, many of us held out in our hearts that Caylee may be alive after all and prayed that it be so. But now that we all know for sure, we can breathe a sigh of relief in that the baby isn't out in the cold anymore and whatever she suffered it over and done with. I was at first unwilling to do the chart because it would require so much work and I am a bit overwhelmed with so many blogs and websites.. one must make a living, right? But I gave it a go and did the best I could with what I had. In that spirit, I must send out my love and admiration to Soulscape on Websleuths, who got so much of it right. She is very talented and should have her own blog. She has made a great case for Astrology and I admire her for it. She actually got the location right, which was something I was unable to do. I worked solely from the cellphone pings and this was probably not enough. Soulscape put her heart and soul into this. We must thank her.
I try not to get into my personal views or beliefs on this blog because the purpose of the site is to explore Astrology. I must say, though, as an aside, and with no Astrological support whatsoever, that I think there is more to the story and there are some big shoes yet to drop. I just feel that some details are not known yet and having grown up in the area I know the environment and the people. Orlando is a hot bed for crime, unfortunately, and a lot of people who live there are living a fast and scary lifestyle. This is nothing new. I lived there in the 1980s and watched snipers on overpasses, bloody women running naked on the interstates and the hookers in tight skirts parading up and down the streets. Florida is full of transients and pass through people, who have no identity and are sort of invisible. I have come close to being kidnapped, raped or murdered myself during some hair raising and unforgettable episodes; by "the hair of my chin", as they say. So I know the criminal element and how prolific it is, especially in the poor, drug infested areas. Casey, I believe, was running in these circles, however snooty she pretended to be, with the "nanny" and the "job at Universal". There are a thousand cokeheads in O-town at any given time that are playing this same game. I apologize if I sound crude. This is just the way it is.
Back to Astrology. The charts showed the woods over and over again. She is now said to have been in the woods a lot, even back to when she was a kid. I know, again from living here, that kids use the woods for secrets. They go there to smoke pot, to sell or buy drugs, to have sex, to drink, to just hang out with a gang and swear. It is a dark place where kids can get away from their do goodie parents and act bad without being seen. If you have been to Florida then you know that the place is almost all swamp land. There are all these suburbs they have built on slabs that they poured over swamp. Where the residential areas end, the woods begin. You get a feeling of being in a box set down in a forest. In fact, a lot of those boxes start sinking every now and then, the swamp giving away under the foundation. Locals won't let the developers pave it all and there are fights everywhere to keep the land pristine, so there are large pockets of wild brush that are just full of wildlife. The charts showed her in a wooded area many times and also showed her leaving the child in the woods near the water. I thought, at the time, that may be it was the Econ River, as Padilla kept saying, but it was not clearly that at all. The chart showed some aspects, if you recall, that showed the body in the water but not underwater. I almost thought it looked like it was floating on the surface of the river, which I knew was impossible. Weird at the time; makes sense now.
About the burning I saw. I cannot explain it except that I saw her burning something and it looked like the child. But now I am thinking perhaps it was the child's clothing and I read more into it. The charts are posted and ready to be looked at so if other Astrologers would like to point out what I missed, I'd love that. We are all learning. Perhaps the cops will find something burnt along the way. Another thing I'd like to add that I did not add in the first post. In the chart I saw a lot of references to sex. I thought at first that Casey was a hooker. Along with so many pointers at the woods I thought she was homeless, living in the woods and having sex for money. I kid you not. But then it became known that she had a boyfriend and was living in his home so this did not make sense. On occasion when I would see sex aspects along with Casey and the child I would also see a man present. I will stand by my claims about the man no matter what. The charts clearly showed her with a man over and over again. Some male person was with her with that child in those woods. I also saw a struggle with the child in the car. Perhaps this is when she was wrapped in the tape. No matter, this man wrestled with that child and held her down. I have since been told that chloroform is used in the sex industry to sedate children while molesting them. This made the hair on my neck stand up. Is this the "other story" that Casey keeps eluding to? Does this involve sex or porn or slavery? The thought turns my stomach, I admit it. I have had far too many cases lately that point to this industry. I just hope this darkness did not touch Caylee. That would be very sad. But I cannot shake the memory of the sex aspects and the child being present. I guess we will learn more in March or whenever this trial starts.
In fact, I may do my first "non death" chart on the blog by doing a chart for the trial. As soon as the date is confirmed and as we approach it, I will try to do a chart for the trial and make some guesses as to how it will come out. I think that would be fascinating. OMG, have I heard it from people on this one! I don't know how many people are posting this item on their sites and tearing me to pieces! What fun. Anyways, I admit I did not know that this case had been solved when I did the chart. How badly the chart turned out should be testimony to my honesty, at least; I don't go around taking on solved cases and pretending to solve them after the fact. That would be cheezy at best. I had recently seen a profile on a crime show about the case and there was nothing in the afterward that talked about the killer or that he had been found. It peaked my interest because I had always liked grunge music back in the late 80's, early 90's, and I have musicians among my friends and family. So I found the case attractive, almost personal in a way. I apologize for taking up everybody's time with my lousy effort on a case that was already solved. Wikipedia needs to update this entry, for sure.
A lot of people have had fun making Astrology look stupid thanks to me. I not only got how she died wrong but I also got the appearance of the killer wrong. He was black and I had him as a white with blond/blue. I also had him as a musician or fan. I still think the chart says that it was someone who had been in the bar, who had seen her or knew her. I did see a sexual component, which was born out by the rape, but it lead me to think he had been attracted to her before.. or even had made advances. He, the killer, denies any of this. So, if someone else wants to put their skills to the charts and tell me where I went wrong, I would LOVE it. I won't apologize for the appearance reading because it's all based on traditional, old fashioned interpretations and I have always said they are not reliable. It is just a shot in the dark. This sort of reading of Astrology sort of went out with face reading and body profiling. I mean a mole on the left side of the chin means Pisces is rising? Antiquated to say the least. But no one has come up with anything more modern because "profiling" of any kind is considered politically incorrect so no one really does it anymore. It can seem racist at times and I have to tailor my assessments of it in a way to make it less so. And perhaps this is what throws it off. I just can't be sure. Does anyone else have any new information on this sort of analysis? Is there are a more accurate, modern method of describing people with Astrology? If so, send it to me and I will publish it as a post.
But I will not back down and admit that Astrology is a failure. In fact, I have had many successes with various cases, some of which I have documented on the blog and in the newsletter. I have also had some small successes with people I have helped off the blog. But it is not 100%; it can be wrong and in some cases, horribly wrong. Totally off base. But I don't blame the science of Astrology for this, I blame my own abilities which are often skewed by my personal beliefs or misinformation I've received. But there was nothing sketchy about Mia's case, the times were close and nearly exact. The TOD I first received was the TOD that held as fact throughout the case. So I misread the chart and that is the gist of it. I simply did a lousy job. And Mia Zapata is not the only case that stumped me; Lisa Stebic is one that I must have done 15 charts over time, with 3 separate posts, all of them inconclusive. I invite other profilers and Astrologers to submit their analysis by comment or by email. If you send an email, I will publish it as a post with no editing. I would love to hear from other readers and get their take on any case, of course, but there is an open invitation for analysis of Lisa Stebic and for critique of Mia Zapata. Take me up on it.
